A mild and metal‐free approach to C?N coupling is described that employs diaryliodonium salt electrophiles and secondary aliphatic amine nucleophiles. This reaction results in direct ipso‐substitution of the iodonium moiety and unsymmetrical aryl(TMP)iodonium salts are primarily employed. Moreover, arene substituents and substitution patterns that currently pose a challenge to classical metal‐free methods are accommodated and the alicyclic amine nucleophiles used here are unprecedented in other contemporary metal‐free C?N coupling reactions. 相似文献

Hypervalent‐iodine‐mediated oxidative coupling of the two aryl groups in either 2‐acylamino‐N‐phenyl‐benzamides or 2‐hydroxy‐N‐phenylbenzamides, with concomitant insertion of the ortho‐substituted N or O atom into the tether, has been described for the first time. This unusual metal‐free rearrangement reaction involves an oxidative C(sp2)? C(sp2) aryl–aryl bond formation, cleavage of a C(sp2)? C(O) bond, and a lactamization/lactonization. Furthermore, unsymmetrical diaryl compounds can be easily obtained by removing the tether within the cyclized product. 相似文献

An efficient one-pot synthesis of N-heteroaryl iodonium triflates from the corresponding N-heteroaryl iodide and arene has been developed. The reaction conditions resemble our previous one-pot syntheses, with suitable modifications to allow N-heteroaryl groups. The reaction time is only 30 min, and no anion exchange is required. The obtained iodonium salts were isolated in a protonated form, these salts can either be employed directly in applications or be deprotonated prior to use. The aryl groups were chosen to induce chemoselective transfer of the heteroaryl moiety to various nucleophiles. The reactivity and chemoselectivity of these iodonium salts were demonstrated by selectively introducing a pyridyl moiety onto both oxygen and carbon nucleophiles in good yields. 相似文献

C‐2 Selective Arylation of Indoles with Heterogeneous Nanopalladium and Diaryliodonium Salts 下载免费PDF全文
Joel Malmgren Anuja Nagendiran Dr. Cheuk‐Wai Tai Prof. Jan‐E. Bäckvall Prof. Berit Olofsson 《Chemistry (Weinheim an der Bergstrasse, Germany)》2014,20(42):13531-13535
A simple and efficient method to prepare synthetically useful 2‐arylindoles is presented, using a heterogeneous Pd catalyst and diaryliodonium salts in water under mild conditions. A remarkably low leaching of metal catalyst was observed under the applied conditions. The developed protocol is highly C‐2 selective and tolerates structural variations both in the indole and in the diaryliodonium salt. Arylations of both N?H indoles and N‐protected indoles with ortho‐substituted, electron‐rich, electron‐deficient, or halogenated diaryliodonium salts were achieved to give the desired products in high to excellent isolated yields within 6 to 15 h at room temperature or 40 °C. 相似文献

Metal‐free oxidative C? C coupling by using polyalkoxybenzene‐derived diaryliodonium(III) salts as both the oxidant and aryl source has been developed. These salts can induce single‐electron‐transfer (SET) oxidation to yield electron‐rich arenes and subsequently transfer the polyalkoxyphenyl group into in situ generated aromatic radical cations to produce biaryl products. The reaction is promoted by a Lewis acid that activates the iodonium salts. It has been revealed that the reactivity of the salts under acidic conditions is quite different to their known behavior under basic conditions. The reactivity preference of a series of iodonium salts in the SET oxidation and their ligand transfer abilities have been systematically investigated and the results are summarized in this report. 相似文献

A new synthetic method was developed for the N‐arylation of pyrazoles using diaryliodonium salts. The transformation does not require any transition‐metal catalyst and provides the desired N‐arylpyrazoles rapidly under mild reaction condition in the presence of aqueous ammonia solution as a mild base without the use of inert atmosphere. The chemoselectivity of unsymmetric diaryliodonium salts was also explored with large number of examples. 相似文献

Phenols and carboxylic acids are efficiently arylated with diaryliodonium salts. The reaction conditions are mild, metal free, and avoid the use of halogenated solvents, additives, and excess reagents. The products are obtained in good‐to‐excellent yields after short reaction times. Steric hindrance is very well tolerated, both in the nucleophile and diaryliodonium salt. The scope includes ortho‐ and halo‐substituted products, which are difficult to obtain by metal‐catalyzed protocols. Many functional groups are tolerated, including carbonyl groups, heteroatoms, and alkenes. Unsymmetric salts can be chemoselectively utilized to obtain products with hitherto unreported levels of steric congestion. The arylation has been extended to sulfonic acids, which can be converted to sulfonate esters by two different approaches. With recent advances in efficient synthetic procedures for diaryliodonium salts the reagents are now inexpensive and readily available. The iodoarene byproduct formed from the iodonium reagent can be recovered quantitatively and used to regenerate the diaryliodonium salt, which improves the atom economy. 相似文献

Presented is the first enantioselective copper‐catalyzed 1,6‐conjugate addition of bis(pinacolato)diboron to para‐quinone methides. The reaction proceeds with excellent yields and good to excellent enantioselectivities, and provides an attractive approach to the construction of optically active gem‐diarylmehtine boronic esters. Additionally, the subsequent conversion of the derived potassium trifluoroborates into triarylmethanes with highly enantiospecificity was realized. 相似文献

A phosgene‐ and metal‐free synthesis of O‐aryl carbamates is realized through a three‐component coupling of carbon dioxide, amines and diaryliodonium salts. The reaction only requires a base as the promoter, providing access to a diverse array of O‐aryl carbamates in moderate to high yields with excellent chemoselectivity. 相似文献

Two regioselective, high-yielding one-pot routes to oxygen-bridged cyclic diaryliodonium salts and ortho-aryloxy-substituted acyclic diaryliodonium salts are presented. Starting from easily available ortho-iodo diaryl ethers, complete selectivity in formation of either the cyclic or acyclic product could be achieved by varying the reaction conditions. The complimentary reactivities of these novel ortho-oxygenated iodonium salts were demonstrated through a series of chemoselective arylations under metal-catalyzed and metal-free conditions, to deliver a range of novel, ortho-functionalized diaryl ether derivatives. 相似文献

The synthesis of vinyl boronates and vinyl silanes was achieved by employing a Ru‐catalyzed alkene–alkyne coupling reaction of allyl boronates or allyl silanes with various alkynes. The double bond geometry in the generated vinyl boronates can be remotely controlled by the juxtaposing boron‐ and silicon groups on the alkyne substrate. The synthetic utility of the coupling products has been demonstrated in a variety of synthetic transformations, including iterative cross‐coupling reactions, and a Chan‐Lam‐type allyloxylation followed by a Claisen rearrangement. A sequential one‐pot alkene‐alkyne‐coupling/allylation‐sequence with an aldehyde to deliver a highly complex α‐silyl‐β‐hydroxy olefin with a handle for further functionalization was also realized. 相似文献

By using vicinal trifluoromethanesulfonate‐substituted diaryliodonium salts, a novel approach was developed for the synthesis of ortho‐iodo diaryl ethers by intramolecular aryl migration. The reaction conditions are mild with a broad substrate scope. Mechanistic insight suggests a sulfonyl‐directed nucleophilic aromatic substitution pathway. Additionally, the product ortho‐iodo diaryl ethers serve as versatile synthons as demonstrated with several coupling reactions. Furthermore, a useful thyroxine analogue of the 3‐iodo‐l ‐thyronine (3‐T1) derivative was synthesized by this aryl migration procedure. 相似文献

A bimetallic catalyst system has been developed that for the first time allows the decarboxylative cross‐coupling of aryl and acyl carboxylates with aryl triflates. In contrast to aryl halides, these electrophiles give rise to non‐coordinating anions as byproducts, which do not interfere with the decarboxylation step that leads to the generation of the carbon nucleophilic cross‐coupling partner. As a result, the scope of carboxylate substrates usable in this transformation was extended from ortho‐substituted or otherwise activated derivatives to a broad range of ortho‐, meta‐, and para‐substituted aromatic carboxylates. Two alternative protocols have been optimized, one involving heating the substrates in the presence of CuI/1,10‐phenanthroline (10–15 mol %) and PdI2/phosphine (2–3 mol %) in NMP for 1–24 h, the other involving CuI/1,10‐phenanthroline (6–15 mol %) and PdBr2/Tol‐BINAP (2 mol %) in NMP using microwave heating for 5–10 min. While most products are accessible using standard heating, the use of microwave irradiation was found to be beneficial especially for the conversion of non‐activated carboxylates with functionalized aryl triflates. The synthetic utility of the transformation is demonstrated with 48 examples showing the scope and limitations of both protocols. In mechanistic studies, the special role of microwave irradiation is elucidated, and further perspectives of decarboxylative cross‐couplings are discussed. 相似文献
