The in-plane thermal conductivity of the iron-based superconductor Ca10(Pt_(4-δ)As_8)((Fe_(1-x)Pt_x)_2As_2)_5 single crystal("10-4-8", T c= 22 K) was measured down to 80 m K. In a zero field, the residual linear term κ_0/T is negligible, suggesting the nodeless superconducting gaps in this multiband compound. In the magnetic fields, κ_0/T increases rapidly, which mimics the multiband superconductor Nb Se_2 and Lu Ni_2B_2 C with highly anisotropic gap. Such a field dependence of κ_0/T is an evidence for the multiple superconducting gaps with quite different magnitudes or highly anisotropic gap. Compared with the London penetration depth results of the Ca10(Pt_(4-δ)As_8)((Fe_(1-x)Pt_x)_2As_2)_5("10-3-8") compound, the 10-4-8 and 10-3-8 compounds may have a similar superconducting gap structure.  相似文献

The magnetization M(H) in the superconducting state, dc magnetic susceptibility χ(T) in the normal state, and specific heat C(T) near the superconducting transition temperature T c have been measured for a series of fine-crystalline YBa2Cu3O y samples having nearly optimum values of y = 6.93 ± 0.3 and T c = (91.5 ± 0.5) K. The samples differ only in the degree of nanoscale structural inhomogeneity. The characteristic parameters of superconductors (the London penetration depth and the Ginzburg–Landau parameter) and the thermodynamic critical field H c are determined by the analysis of the magnetization curves M(H). It is found that the increase in the degree of nanoscale structural inhomogeneity leads to an increase in the characteristic parameters of superconductors and a decrease in H c(T) and the jump of the specific heat ΔC/T c. It is shown that the changes in the physical characteristics are caused by the suppression of the density of states near the Fermi level. The pseudogap is estimated by analyzing χ(T). It is found that the nanoscale structural inhomogeneity significantly enhances and probably even creates the pseudogap regime in the optimally doped high-T c superconductors.  相似文献

A cellular superconducting material consisting of thin (1–20 μm) MgB2?x layers and magnesium granules of about 100 μm has been produced. The critical temperature T c of this superconductor decreases with the thickness of the MgB2?x layers. In unalloyed magnesium diboride, the curvature of the temperature dependence of the upper critical field H c2(T) changes gradually from downward to pronounced upward as the temperature T c decreases from 38 to 36 K.  相似文献

The temperature dependences of magnetization higher harmonics were studied experimentally in single-domain YBa2Cu3O7?x samples above T c . YBa2Cu3O7?x magnetization nonlinearity was found in different samples up to temperatures T = 103–112 K, which is much higher than the temperature of transition into the superconducting state of the given compound. The observed specific feature of YBa2Cu3O7?x magnetization is associated with the occurrence of pseudogap state in this compound.  相似文献

Magnetic flux structure on the surface of EuFe2(As1-x P x )2 single crystals with nearly optimal phosphorus doping levels x = 0.20 and x = 0.21 is studied by low-temperature magnetic force microscopy and decoration with ferromagnetic nanoparticles. The studies are performed in a broad temperature range. It is shown that the single crystal with x = 0.21 in the temperature range between the critical temperatures T SC= 22 K and T C = (18 ± 0.3) K of the superconducting and ferromagnetic phase transitions, respectively, has the vortex structure of a frozen magnetic flux, typical for type-II superconductors. The magnetic domain structure is observed in the superconducting state below T C. The nature of this structure is discussed.  相似文献

It is found that perfect Bi2Sr2?x La x CuO6+δ single crystals with the same concentrations of lanthanum x = 0.64 and excess oxygen δ = 0.237 exist in two types. Single crystals of the first type are obtained by slow cooling (the synthesis time is 90–105 h). They have a monoclinic superlattice and exhibit no superconducting transition down to 2 K. Crystals of the second type are obtained by rapid cooling (the synthesis time is 30–40 h) and are characterized by a orthorhombic superlattice and T c = 18 K. Thus, the superconducting transition temperature is determined not only by the concentration of carriers but also by the configuration of defects. A rhombic superlattice prevails in single crystals obtained by slow cooling in the lanthanum concentration range x = 0.3–0.5, while a monoclinic superlattice dominates in the range x = 0.75–0.85. This fact explains the high values of T c at optimal doping (x = 0.4) and the absence of high-T c superconductivity at p < 0.10.  相似文献

We report on the discovery and novel physics of a new superconductivity dome in LaFeAsO1?xFx with high-doping rate (0.25 ≤x≤0.75) synthesized by using the high-pressure technique. The maximal critical temperature Tc = 30 K peaked at xopt = 0.5 ~0.55, which is even higher than that at x≤ 0.2. By nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), we find that the new superconducting dome is far away from a magnetically ordered phase without low-energy magnetic fluctuations. Instead, NMR and transmission electron microscopy measurements indicate that a C4 rotation symmetry-breaking structural transition takes place for x> 0.5 above Tc. The electrical resistivity shows a temperature-linear behavior around the doping level where the crystal transition temperature extrapolate to zero and Tc is the maximal, suggesting the importance of quantum fluctuations associated with the structural transition. Our results point to a new paradigm of high temperature superconductivity.  相似文献

We investigated the superconducting properties of Fe1+y Te0.6Se0.4 single-crystalline microbridges with a width of 4 μm and thicknesses ranging from 20.8 to 136.2 nm. The temperature-dependent in-plane resistance of the bridges exhibited a type of metal-insulator transition in the normal state. The critical current density (J c) of the microbridge with a thickness of 136.2 nm was 82.3 kA/cm2 at 3K and reached 105 kA/cm2 after extrapolation to T = 0 K. The current versus voltage characteristics of the microbridges showed a Josephson-like behavior with an obvious hysteresis. These results demonstrate the potential application of ultra-thin Fe-based microbridges in superconducting electronic devices such as bolometric detectors.  相似文献

The effects of isovalent Sb substitution on the superconducting properties of the Ca0.88La0.12Fe2(As1-ySby)2 system have been studied through electrical resistivity measurements. It is seen that the antiferromagnetic or structural transition is suppressed with Sb content, and a high-Tc superconducting phase, accompanied by a low-Tc phase, emerges at 0.02 ≤ y ≤ 0.06. In this intermediate-doping regime, normal-state transport shows non-Fermi-liquid-like behaviors with nearly T-linear resistivity above the high-Tc phase. With further Sb doping, this high-Tc phase abruptly vanishes for y > 0.06 and the conventional Fermi liquid is restored, while the low-Tc phase remains robust against Sb impurities. The coincidence of the high-Tc phase and non-Fermi liquid transport behaviors in the intermediate Sb-doping regime suggests that AFM fluctuations play an important role in the observed non-Fermi liquid behaviors, which may be intimately related to the unusual nonbulk high-Tc phase in this system.  相似文献

The local crystal structure of superconducting powders of iron chalcogenides FeTexSe1–x (x = 0.1, 0.22, 0.49, 0.8, 0.9) prepared by dry synthesis (without mineralizer) has been studied by EXAFS spectroscopy above the K Se and K Fe absorption edges in the temperature range of 80–300 K. The dependences of Se–Fe, Fe–Te, and Fe–Fe interatomic bond lengths and degrees of their local disordering (Debye–Waller factors) on the tellurium content and temperature have been obtained. Einstein temperatures characterizing the stiffness of each bond have been determined. The correlation of the Se–Fe bond stiffness with the dependence of the critical temperature of the superconducting transition Tc on the composition of the samples under study have been established, which indicates the specific role of the Se–Fe bond in the superconducting state formation in iron chalcogenides FeTexSe1–x.  相似文献

Results of an experimental study of MnS, FeS, and Fe x Mn1?x S single crystals are presented. The phase composition, the lattice parameters, and the state of paramagnetic ions in Fe x Mn1?x S have been determined by x-ray diffraction analysis and Mössbauer spectroscopy. A sequence of transitions have been found in iron manganese sulfide with x = 0.29 at temperatures T 1 ≈ 25–50 K, T 2 ≈ 125 K, and T 3 ≈ 190 K with a change in kinetic properties and the formation of a metallic state at low temperatures T ≈ 2 K. The possibility of a Mott-Hubbard transition in Fe x Mn1?x S sulfides with variation of the composition and the temperature is discussed.  相似文献

Bulk nanocomposites based on superconducting metals Pb and In embedded into matrices of natural chrysotile asbestos with the nanotube internal diameter d ~ 6 nm have been fabricated and studied. The low-temperature electrical and magnetic properties of the nanocomposites demonstrate the superconducting transition with the transition critical temperature Tc ≈ (7.18 ± 0.02) K for the Pb–asbestos nanocomposite (this temperature is close to Tc bulk = 7.196 K for bulk Pb). The electrical measurements show that In nanofilaments in asbestos have Tc ~ 3.5–3.6 K that is higher than Tc bulk = 3.41 K for bulk In. It is shown that the temperature smearing of the superconducting transition in the temperature dependences of the resistance R(T) ΔT ≈ 0.06 K for the Pb–asbestos and ΔT ≈ 1.8 K for the In–asbestos are adequately described by the fluctuation Aslamazov–Larkin and Langer–Ambegaokar theories. The resistive measurements show that the critical magnetic fields of the nanofilaments extrapolated to T = 0 K are Hc(0) ~ 47 kOe for Pb in asbestos and Hc(0) ~ 1.5 kOe for In in asbestos; these values are significantly higher than the values for the bulk materials (H\(H_{\rm{c}}^{\rm{bulk}}\) = 803 Oe for Pb and \(H_{\rm{c}}^{\rm{bulk}}\) = 285 Oe for In). The results of the electrical measurements for Pb?asbestos and In–asbestos agree with the data for the magnetic-field dependences of the magnetic moment in these nanocomposites.  相似文献

The dependence of the magnetization relaxation rate S = ?d lnM/dlnt on temperature T is measured in YBa2Cu3O7 ? δ samples with various oxygen concentrations. It is found that the S(T) curve changes qualitatively when oxygen deficit δ exceeds the threshold value δth = 0.37. For δ < δth (T c > 60 K, where T c is the superconducting transition temperature), function S(T) has the well-known peak at T/T c = 0.4. For δ > δth (at T c < 51 K), this peak transforms into a plateau and a new sharp peak appears at T/T c = 0.1. The threshold value δth of the oxygen deficit corresponds to the transition of the sample from the disordered state into the ordered state of oxygen vacancies. We consider the change in the shape of the S(T) curve as a macroscopic manifestation of this transition.  相似文献

The temperature dependences of the specific heat C(T) and thermal conductivity K(T) of MgB2 were measured at low temperatures and in the neighborhood of T c . In addition to the well-known superconducting transition at T c ≈40 K, this compound was found to exhibit anomalous behavior of both the specific heat and thermal conductivity at lower temperatures, T≈10–12 K. Note that the anomalous behavior of C(T) and K(T) is observed in the same temperature region where MgB2 was found to undergo negative thermal expansion. All the observed low-temperature anomalies are assigned to the existence in MgB2 of a second group of carriers and its transition to the superconducting state at Tc2≈10?12 K.  相似文献

Samples of a superconducting indium nanocomposite based on a thin-film porous dielectric matrix prepared by the Langmuir–Blodgett method are obtained for the first time, and their low-temperature electrophysical and magnetic properties are studied. Films with thickness b ≤ 5 μm were made from silicon dioxide spheres with diameter D = 200 and 250 nm; indium was introduced into the pores of the films from the melt at a pressure of P ≤ 5 kbar. Thus, a three-dimensional weakly ordered structure of indium nanogranules was created in the pores, forming a continuous current-conducting grid. Measurements of the temperature and magnetic field dependences of the resistance and magnetic moment of the samples showed an increase in the critical parameters of the superconductivity state of nanostructured indium (critical temperature Tc ≤ 3.62 K and critical magnetic field Hc at T = 0 K Hc(0) ≤ 1700 Oe) with respect to the massive material (Tc = 3.41 K, Hc(0) = 280 Oe). In the dependence of the resistance on temperature and the magnetic field, a step transition to the superconductivity state associated with the nanocomposite structure was observed. A pronounced hysteresis M(H) is observed in the dependence of the magnetic moment M of the nanocomposite on the magnetic field at T < Tc, caused by the multiply connected structure of the current-conducting indium grid. The results obtained are interpreted taking into account the dimensional dependence of the superconducting characteristics of the nanocomposite.  相似文献

Measurements of the electronic specific heat in the normal and superconducting state of 15 superconducting binary complex phases of theσ- andχ-structure are presented. The alloys have been prepared under high vacuum in an electron-beam melting apparatus described in detail. In the investigated range between 6 and 7 valence-electrons, the obvious correlation betweenT c, the superconducting critical temperature, andγ, the coefficient of the electronic specific heat, leads to agreement with the empirical rules, found byMatthias. Recently,Morel andAnderson andGarland have calculated the values of the deviation of the normal isotope-effect. With these values it is possible to relate the observedT c-data for most of the transition metal alloys investigated so far to the density of states at the Fermi level and to a systematically varying electron-phonon interaction parameter. In the superconducting state, an exponential dependence of the electronic specific heat on 1/T is found in the range betweenT c/2 andT c/6. However the parameters are somewhat different from those predicted by theory. The values ofγ observed also account for the lack of any correlation between the total magnetic susceptibility and the superconducting critical temperature for these phases.  相似文献

The current–voltage characteristics and dynamic conductance spectra of Andreev arrays in nearly optimal GdO1 ? x F x FeAs superconductors with the critical temperature T c = 46–50 K have been studied. A reproducible fine structure that accompanies large gap features and caused by boson emission during the process of multiple Andreev reflections has been observed. At T = 4.2 K, the bosonic mode energy ε0 = (12 ± 2) meV has been obtained.  相似文献

The temperature dependences of the third and other higher magnetization harmonics for YBa2Cu3O7 ? x textured polycrystals are experimentally investigated in the temperature range 77–120 K. It is revealed that the magnetization of the YBa2Cu3O7 ? x textured polycrystals exhibits a nonlinear behavior up to temperatures considerably higher than the superconducting transition temperature. The observed nonlinearity of the magnetization of the YBa2Cu3O7 ? x textured polycrystals is attributed to the pseudogap state that appears for this compound at a temperature T ~ 102 K.  相似文献

The low-temperature dependences of magnetic characteristics (namely, the coercive force H c , the remanent magnetization M r , local magnetic anisotropy fields H a, and the saturation magnetization M s ) determined from the irreversible and reversible parts of the magnetization curves for Fe3C ferromagnetic nanoparticles encapsulated in carbon nanotubes are investigated experimentally. The behavior of the temperature dependences of the coercive force H c (T) and the remanent magnetization M r (T) indicates a single-domain structure of the particles under study and makes it possible to estimate their blocking temperature T B = 420–450 K. It is found that the saturation magnetization M s and the local magnetic anisotropy field H a vary with temperature as ~T 5/2.  相似文献

The effect of ion irradiation on the superconducting transition temperatureT c and resistivityρ ab (T) of YBa2Cu3O7-x films with different oxygen content (initial temperatureT c0≈90 K and 60 K) is studied experimentally. The dependenciesT c /T c0 on residual resistivityρ o are obtained in very wide range 0.2<T c /T c0 <1 andρ o μΩ·cm. The critical values ofρ o , corresponding to the vanishing of superconductivity, are found to be an order of magnitude larger then those predicted by theory ford-wave pairing. At 0.5÷0.6<T c /T c0<1 the experimental data are in close agreement with theoretical dependencies, obtained for the anisotropics-wave superconductor within the BCS-framework.  相似文献
