Sequences of canonical conservation laws and generalized symmetries for the lattice Boussinesq and the lattice modified Boussinesq systems are successively derived. The interpretation of these symmetries as differential-difference equations leads to corresponding hierarchies of such equations for which conservation laws and Lax pairs are constructed. Finally, using the continuous symmetry reduction approach, an integrable, multidimensionally consistent system of partial differential equations is derived in relation with the lattice modified Boussinesq system.  相似文献

We propose a simple and direct method for generating travelling wave solutions for nonlinear integrable equations. We illustrate how nontrivial solutions for the KdV, the mKdV and the Boussinesq equations can be obtained from simple solutions of linear equations. We describe how using this method, a soliton solution of the KdV equation can yield soliton solutions for the mKdV as well as the Boussinesq equations. Similarly, starting with cnoidal solutions of the KdV equation, we can obtain the corresponding solutions for the mKdV as well as the Boussinesq equations. Simple solutions of linear equations can also lead to cnoidal solutions of nonlinear systems. Finally, we propose and solve some new families of KdV equations and show how soliton solutions are also obtained for the higher order equations of the KdV hierarchy using this method.  相似文献

We study the stationary measure for the two-dimensional Boussinesq equation with random forcing. We prove the ergodicity for the two-dimensional stochastically forced Boussinesq equation. We also study the Galerkin truncations of the three-dimensional Boussinesq equations under degenerate stochastic forcing. We follow closely the previous results on the stochastically forced Navier–Stokes equations.  相似文献

A nonlocal Boussinesq equation is deduced from the local one by using consistent correlated bang method. To study various exact solutions of the nonlocal Boussinesq equation, it is converted into two local equations which contain the local Boussinesq equation. From the N-soliton solutions of the local Boussinesq equation, the N-soliton solutions of the nonlocal Boussinesq equation are obtained, among which the (N=2,3,4)-soliton solutions are analyzed with graphs. Some periodic and traveling solutions of the nonlocal Boussinesq equation are derived directly from the known solutions of the local Boussinesq equation. Symmetry reduction solutions of the nonlocal Boussinesq equation are also obtained by using the classical Lie symmetry method.  相似文献

In this paper, the(2+1)-dimensional perturbed Boussinesq equation is transformed into a series of two-dimensional(2 D) similarity reduction equations by using the approximate symmetry method. A step-by-step procedure is used to acquire Jacobi elliptic function solutions to these similarity equations, which generate the truncated series solutions to the original perturbed Boussinesq equation. Aside from some singular area, the series solutions are convergent when the perturbation parameter is diminished.  相似文献

In this paper, the existence and propagation characteristics of Rossby waves in a two-layer cylindrical fluid are studied. Firstly, based on the dimensionless baroclinic quasi-geostrophic vortex equations including exogenous and dissipative, we derive new (2+1)-dimensional coupled Boussinesq equations describing wave propagation in polar coordinates by employing a multiscale analysis and perturbation method. Then, the Lie symmetries and conservation laws of the coupled Boussinesq equations are analyzed. Subsequently, by using the $(G^{\prime} /G)$-expansion method, the exact solutions of the (2+1)-dimensional coupled Boussinesq equations are obtained. Finally, the effects of coupling term coefficients on the propagation characteristics of Rossby waves are analyzed.  相似文献

A general propagation lattice Boltzmann model is used to solve Boussinesq equations. Different local equilibrium distribution functions are selected, and the macroscopic equation is recovered with second order accuracy by means of the Chapman–Enskog multi-scale analysis and the Taylor expansion technique. To verify the effectiveness of the present model, some Boussinesq equations with initial boundary value problems are simulated. It is shown that our model can remain stable and accurate, which is an effective algorithm worthy of promotion and application.  相似文献

The parametric conditions for the existence of smooth, cusped solitary wave solutions are given using the phase portrait analytical technique. The modified Boussinesq hierarchy associated with the 3×3 matrix spectral problem is derived with the help of Lenard recursion equations. Based on the characteristic polynomial of Lax matrix for the modified Boussinesq hierarchy, we introduce an algebraic curve Km−1 of arithmetic genus m−1, from which we establish the associated Baker-Akhiezer function, meromorphic function and Dubrovin-type equations. The straightening out of various flows is exactly given through the Abel map. Using these results and the theory of algebraic curve, we obtain the explicit theta function representations of the Baker-Akhiezer function, the meromorphic function, and in particular, that of solutions for the entire modified Boussinesq hierarchy.  相似文献

The deformation mapping method is applied to solve a system of (2+1)-dimensional Boussinesq equations. Many types of explicit and exact travelling plane wave solutions, which contain solitary wave solutions,periodic wave solutions,Jacobian elliptic function solutions and others exact solutions, are obtained by a simple algebraic transformation relation between the (2+1)-dimensional Boussinesq equation and the cubic nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation.  相似文献

In this paper, we employ the bifurcation method of dynamical systems to study the solitary waves and periodic waves of a generalized Boussinesq equations. All possible phase portraits in the parameter plane for the travelling wave systems are obtained. A modified homogeneous balance method is proposed by improving some key steps in the homogeneous balance method. Bilinear equations of some nonlinear evolution equations are derived by using the modified homogeneous balance method. Generalized Boussinesq equation, KP equation, and mKdV equation are chosen as examples to llustrate our method. In this paper, by means of the potential systems of the given nonlinear evolution equations, a procedure of symmetry preserving discretization of differential equations is presented. The specific process will be given detailed in section 2. This extended method is effective for discreting the high-order (high-dimensional) nonlinear evolution equations. In this paper, based on a new system of three Riccati equations, we give a new method to construct more new exact solutions of nonlinear differential equations in mathematical physics. The classical Boussinesq system is chosen to illustrate our method.
