We present an approach to faithfully teleport an unknown quantum state of entangled particles in a multi-particle system involving multi spatially remote agents via probabilistic channels. In our scheme, the integrity of an entangled multi-particle state can be maintained even when the construction of a faithful channel fails. Furthermore, in a quantum teleportation network, there are generally multi spatially remote agents which play the role of relay nodes between a sender and a distant receiver. Hence, we propose two schemes for directly and indirectly constructing a faithful channel between the sender and the distant receiver with the assistance of relay agents, respectively. Our results show that the required auxiliary particle resources, local operations and classical communications are considerably reduced for the present purpose.

In this paper, we explicitly present a general scheme for controlled quantum teleportation of an arbitrary multi-qudit state with unit fidelity and non-unit successful probability using d-dimensional nonmaximally entangled GHZ states as the quantum channel and generalized d-dimensional Bell states as the measurement basis. The expression of successful probability for controlled teleportation is present depending on the degree of entanglement matching between the quantum channel and the generalized Bell states. And the formulae for the selection of operations performed by the receiver are given according to the results measured by the sender and the controller.

In this paper, we present a scheme for teleporting multi-qudit quantum state, from the sender Alice to the receiver Charlie via many controllers Bobs, whose control parameters are obtained using entanglement swapping of maximally d-dimensional EPR pair. In our scheme, Yang's qutrit controlled teleportation protocol [Commun. Theor. Phys. 49 (2008) 338] based on Bell-state entanglement swapping is generalized to the qudit case. The scheme of multi-qudit owns the advantage of having higher code capacity and better security than that of multi-qutrit.

A general scheme for controlled teleportation of an arbitrary multi-qudit state with d-dimensional Greenberger- Horne--Zeilinger (GHZ) states is proposed. For an arbitrary m-qudit state, the sender Alice performs m generalized Bell-state projective measurements on her 2m qudits and the controllers need only take some single-particle measurements. The receiver Charlie can reconstruct the unknown m-qudit state by performing some single-qudit unitary operations on her particles if she cooperates with all the controllers. As the quantum channel is a sequence of maximally entangled GHZ states, the intrinsic efticiency for qudits in this scheme approaches 100% in principle.

Quantum teleportation with entanglement channels and a series of two-qubit SWAP gates between the nearestneighbor qubits are usually utilized to achieve the transfers of unknown quantum state from the sender to the distant receiver. In this paper, by simplifying the usual SWAP gates we propose an approach to speed up the transmissions of unknown quantum information, specifically including the single-qubit unknown state and two-qubit unknown entangled ones,by a series of entangling and disentangling operations between the remote qubits with distant interactions. The generic proposal is demonstrated specifically with experimentally-existing Ising-type quantum channels without transverse interaction; liquid NMR-molecules driven by global radio frequency electromagnetic pulses and capacitively-coupled Josephson circuits driven by local microwave pulses. The proposal should be particularly useful to set up the connections between the distant qubits in a chip of quantum computing.

As an important communication technology, quantum information transmission plays an important role in the future network communication. It involves two kinds of transmission ways: quantum teleportation and remote state preparation. In this paper, we put forward a new scheme for optimal joint remote state preparation (JRSP) of an arbitrary equatorial two-qudit state with hybrid dimensions. Moreover, the receiver can reconstruct the target state with 100 % success probability in a deterministic manner via two spatially separated senders. Based on it, we can extend it to joint remote preparation of arbitrary equatorial multi-qudit states with hybrid dimensions using the same strategy.

In this paper, we present a controlled quantum teleportation protocol. In the protocol, quantum information of an unknown state is faithfully transmitted from a sender (Alice) to a remote receiver (Bob) via the GHZ entangled ions under the control of the supervisor Charlie. The apparent Bell-state measurements that Alice should perform in order to teleport her ions are not needed.

We first provide four new schemes for two-party quantum teleportation of an arbitrary unknown multi-particle state by using three-, four-, and five-particle states as the quantum channel, respectively. The successful probability and fidelity of the four schemes reach 1. In the first two schemes, the receiver can only apply one of the unitary transformations to reconstruct the original state, making it easier for these two schemes to be directly realized. In the third and fourth schemes, the sender can preform Bell-state measurements instead of multipartite entanglement measurements of the existing similar schemes, which makes real experiments more suitable. It is found that the last three schemes may become tripartite controlled teleportation schemes of teleporting an arbitrary multi-particle state after a simple modification. Finally, we present a new scheme for three-party sharing an arbitrary unknown multi-particle state. In this scheme, the sender first shares three three-particle GHZ states with two agents. After setting up the secure quantum channel, an arbitrary unknown multi-particle state can be perfectly teleported if the sender performs three Bell-state measurements, and either of two receivers operates an appropriate unitary transformation to obtain the original state with the help of other receiver's three single-particle measurements. The successful probability and fidelity of this scheme also reach 1. It is demonstrated that this scheme can be generalized easily to the case of sharing an arbitrary unknown multi-particle state among several agents.

Utilizing the generalized measurement described by positive operator-wlued measure, this paper comes up with a protocol for teleportation of an unknown multi-particle entangled (GHZ) state with a certain probability. The feature of the present protocol is to weaken requirement for the quantum channel initially shared by sender and receiver. All unitary transformations performed by receiver are summarized into a formula. On the other hand, this paper explicitly constructs the efficient quantum circuits for implementing the proposed teleportation by means of universal quantum logic operations in quantum computation.

In this article, a scheme for quantum teleportation of a two-qubit entangled state using four-qubit cluster state is discussed by use of cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED) involving the interaction of the atoms with the cavity. In this protocol, by using a one-dimensional maximally four-qubit cluster state as quantum channel, quantum information of an unknown state of two two-level particles is faithfully transmitted from a sender (Alice) to a remote receiver (Bob). According to the results measured by the Bob, as it is shown, the unknown two-particle entangled state can be teleported perfectly, and the successful possibilities and fidelities of the scheme can reach 1.0.

A scheme for probabilistic teleportation of an unknown three-atom entangled state via a five-atom non-maximally entangled cluster state as quantum channel is proposed. In this scheme, the sender performs two Bell state and a single-atom measurements on the atoms, the receiver can reconstruct the original state with a certain probability by introducing an auxiliary atom and operating appropriate unitary transformations and controlled-not (C-not) operations according to the sender Alice's measurement results. As a result, the probability of successful teleportation is determined by the smallest two of the coefficients'absolute values of the cluster state. The considerable advantage of our scheme is that we employ a non-maximally entangled cluster state as quantum channel in the scheme, which can greatly reduce the amount of entanglement resources and need less classical bits. If we employ a maximally entangled cluster state as quantum channel, the probabilistic teleportation scheme becomes usual teleportation, the successful probability being 100%.

A simply protocol for quantum teleportation of an unknown two-atom entangled state using four-atom cluster state is investigated in cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED). In this protocol, by using a one-dimensional maximally four-atom cluster state as quantum channel, an unknown two-atom entangled state can be transmitted from the sender (Alice) to the receiver without apparent joint Bell-state measurement. According to the results measured by the sender, the receiver can obtain the original state with unit successful probability. The important features of our scheme can also be demonstrated in ion trap system.

We present a novel protocol for teleportation of arbitrary bipartite pure and mixed state with shared cluster entanglement in this paper. By employing Bell-state measurement on the teleported state and the shared cluster state twice, a sender could transmit the arbitrary bipartite state to a distant receiver. We show the good feature of the cluster state channel, with which it can realize the deterministic teleportation rather than probabilistic one. Moreover, since we require less particles to be shared and need no auxiliary qubit in our protocol, it is more efficient and applicable than the previous schemes.

We present a scheme for perfectly teleporting an arbitrary and unknown N-particle GHZ-class state from a sender to a receiver. We just need one quantum channel composed of two or three particles in the maximally entangled state. The sender performs one Bell-state measurement on two of her particles and N - 1 Hadamard operations and N - 1 yon Neumann measurements on the rest N - 1 particles. The receiver adopts one corresponding unitary transformation on his particles shared with the sender. After that, the receiver can obtain the original N-particle GHZ-class state by introducing N - 1 ancillary particles and carrying out N - 1 controlled-NOT operations. We also generalize the scheme to the case of controlled teleportation.

We present two schemes for perfect cloning unknown two-qubit and general two-qubit entangled states with assistance from two state preparers, respectively. In the schemes, the sender wish to teleport an unknown two-qubit (or general two-qubit) entangled state which from two state preparers to a remote receiver, and then create a perfect copy of the unknown state at her place. The schemes include two stages. The first stage of the schemes requires usual teleportation. In the second stage, to help the sender realize the quantum cloning, two state preparers perform two-qubit projective measurements on their own qubits which from the sender, then the sender can acquire a perfect copy of the unknown state. To complete the assisted cloning schemes, several novel sets of mutually orthogonal basis vectors are introduced. It is shown that, only if two state preparers collaborate with each other, and perform projective measurements under suitable measuring basis on their own qubit respectively, the sender can create a copy of the unknown state by means of some appropriate unitary operations. The advantage of the present schemes is that the total success probability for assisted cloning a perfect copy of the unknown state can reach 1.

In this paper, we propose a protocol where one can realize reestablishment of an unknown state and its orthogonal complement state with a certain probability. In the first stage of the protocol, teleportation is performed between Alice (a sender) and Bob (a receiver) through a nonmaximally entangled quantum channel. In the process of teleportation, Alice performs nonmaximally entangled state measurement. In the second stage of the protocol, Victor(a state preparer) disentangles leftover nonmaximally entangled states by a single-particle measurement. With the assistance of Victor Alice can reestablish the original state or produce its orthogonal state.

Teleportation is a quantum information process without classical counterparts, in which the sender can disembodiedly transfer unknown quantum states to the receiver. In probabilistic teleportation through a partial entangled quantum channel, the transmission is exact (with fidelity 1), but may fail in a probability and the initial state is destroyed simultaneously. We propose a scheme for nondestructive probabilistic teleportation of high-dimensional quantum states. With the aid of an ancilla in the hands of the sender, the initial quantum information can be recovered when teleportation fails. The ancilla acts as a quantum apparatus to measure the sender's subsystem. Erasing the information recorded in it can resume the initial state.
