The total amplitude reflection coefficient of EM wave in a nonuniform plasma slab coated on perfect conductor plane is newly derived by using the scattering matrix method (SMM), and the attenuation is calculated. Three types of plasma electron density profile, that is the hyperbolic, sinusoidal, and linear profiles, are used. The external magnetic field and plasma parameters such as the maximum electron density and collision frequencies are discussed to calculate the attenuation of EM wave. The calculation results show that the plasma electron density profile and maximum electron density exert a large effect to the attenuation of EM wave and the attenuation under the uniform external magnetic field is taken place by the electron cyclotron resonance absorption, the up hybrid resonance absorption and geometric resonances absorption. 相似文献

The problem of an off-axis Gaussian beam incident perpendicular on an infinitely long multi-layered cylinder is investigated. The efficient and accurate recursive algorithm for computing the scattering field is discussed. The stability of the numerical scheme allows us to extend the feasible range of computations, both in size parameter and in number of layers for a given size. 将移位算子(shift operator,SO)-时域有限差分(fintie difference time domain,FDTD)方法推广到外磁场沿任意方向时磁化铁氧体的情形.从磁化铁氧体的相对磁导系数张量和各向异性情形下Maxwell旋度方程出发,推导出外磁场沿任意方向情形下磁化铁氧体电磁散射的SO-FDTD迭代公式.应用该方法计算了磁化铁氧体层、磁化铁氧体球及含磁化铁氧体涂层的Von Karman形雷达罩电磁散射,数值计算结果表明了该算法的正确有效性.

EM scattering response of an infinitely long bianisotropic cylinder with electrically small cross-section suspended in free space is presented. Formulation of this problem is based on the coupled integral equation method with the long wavelength approximation. Reduced expressions for the scattering of plane waves, both E-wave and H-wave types, are obtained. It is revealed that for certain polarization matrices determined by the constitutive parameters of the scatterer, cross-polarization and/or co-polarization phenomena may occur, respectively. 相似文献

The scattering of electromagnetic plane wave from a coated nihility circular cylinder placed in chiral metamaterial is investigated. The nihility cylinder is coated with chiral or chiral-nihility metamaterial and the medium hosting the coated cylinder is also considered as chiral or chiral-nihility metamaterial. The vector wave equation is used to find out the solution for the fields scattered from the concentric chiral ciruclar cylinders immersed in chiral metamaterial. Inner chiral cylinder is reduced to nihility cylinder taking permittivity and permeability approaching to zero with chirality parameter equal to zero. Coated perfect electric conductor (PEC)/perfect magnetic conductor (PMC) are obtained by taking very large value of permittivity/permeability of the inner cylinder. Numerical results for fields reflected from coated nihility cylinder are compared with those obtained for coated PEC/PMC cylinder. Our results for the special case of dielectric coated nihility/PEC cylinders in free space are shown to be in agreement with already published results thus validating the scheme of analysis. 相似文献

Object coated with plasma has stimulated great interests of many people because of its stealth capability. The study on a conducting cylinder coated with coaxial plasma is very much, but there are little works on a conducting cylinder coated with eccentric plasma. In this article, a model for a conducting cylinder coated with eccentric unmagnetized plasma is set up, the scattering cross section of the object cylinder is studied by adopting the superposition of cylindrical wave functions and the coordinate transformation, where these wave functions are the solutions of Maxwell's equations with boundary conditions in cylindrical coordinates. The results show that the radar cross section for a conducting cylinder coated with eccentric plasma in every direction decrease obviously with an increase of the distance between two eccentric axes, but is almost not impacted by electron–neutral collision frequency of plasma, and the backscattering cross section of the target reduce with the increase of electron density. Comparing with the coaxial model, the backscattering cross section of the eccentric model has a smaller value in a wide frequency band. This is of significance for the target plasma stealth technology in practice. 相似文献

The scattering field of a ferrite post and a cylindrical ferrite post containing conducting post illuminated by a plane wave is analyzed. The special interest is the scattering property of the ferrite posts, which is resonating at certain modes such as TM11 mode. We hope to know the speciality it shows and find its applications. It is found that the scattering field pattern of a resonating ferrite post is similar to the rotation of the scattering field pattern of a dielectric cylindrical post, which has the same dimension as ferrite. The scattering properties of the ferrite may give us some inspirations to explore its applications in microwave components. This property is utilized to explain the mechanism of the operation of the circulators. It also may be used in microstrip patch antenna, coupler and filter to control their properties. 提出了一种计算光学介质膜系表面总积分散射(TIS)的理论模型。该模型认为,介质膜系粗糙的膜层界面和表面为微观结构不均匀的微薄过渡区;过渡区可用折射率为不同常量的层数足够多的均匀子层来代替,同时这些均匀子层的折射率变化满足指数函数的分布规律。利用矩阵法对积分散射的表达式进行了推导。对于电子束蒸发方法在K9玻璃上沉积的ZrO2单层膜,分层界面散射模型对积分散射的理论计算值要比非相关表面散射模型的计算值更加符合总积分散射仪的实验测量结果。 相似文献
