(2R,3R)-(+)- and (2S,3S)-(−)-2,3-epoxy-2-methylbutanoic acids (epoxyangelic acids) were prepared from (Z)-2-methyl-2-butenoic acid using the Sharpless asymmetric epoxidation method in combination with the use of (−)- and (+)-menthol as chiral auxiliaries. Both substances, obtained in high enantiomeric excess, were characterized by spectroscopic and optical activity data. Their absolute configuration was determined by correlation with (R)-(+)-2-methyl-1,2-butanediol.  相似文献

The X-ray crystal structures of (–)-syn-4-phenyl-3-bromo-2-butyl camphanate (I) and (+-anti-4-phenyl-3-bromo-2-butyl camphanate (II) have been determined. Thesyn diastereoisomer of bromohydrin has the (2S,3S) absolute configuration whereas theanti diastereoisomer has the (2S,3R) absolute configuration. The crystallized derivatives I and II have been obtained by the reaction of each stereoisomer of bromohydrin, synthesized by reduction with baker's yeast, with (1S)-camphanic chloride. Crystal data: (I) C20H25BrO4:M w: 409.32; orthorhombic,P212121;a=11.245(3),b=12.086(1),c=14.512(4) å; Z=4; finalR=0.053 for 1819 observed reflections. (II) C20H25BrO4;M w=409.32; monoclinic, P21;a=11.352(1),b=6.378(1),c=14.255(2) å,=110.38(1);Z=2; finalR=0.045 for 1672 observed reflections.  相似文献

A method is described for the chiral synthesis of (3R,4S)-3-methyl-3-hydroxy-4-phenyl-β-lactam, a useful precursor for the semi-synthesis of 2′-methyl-taxoids. This protocol follows Seebach's synthetic principle of `self-regeneration of stereocenters' (SRS) and has been applied to addition reactions of the (2S)-chiral enolates of dioxolan-4-ones, derived from the acetalization of (S)-α-lactic acid and tert-butylaldehyde or pinacolone, to N-trimethylsilylphenyl aldimine.  相似文献

Abstract

In connection with our projects on the synthesis of biologically active 5-hydroxyalkan-4-olides which have a chiral 2.3-diol unit,1 we have carried out the synthesis of (4R,5S)-(?)- and (4R,5S)-(+)-L-factors (1).2 the proposed autoregulators from Streptomyees griseus, and muricatacin (2),3 a biologically active constituent from the seeds of Annona muricata L. via 2.3-dihydroxy aldehydes derived from D-glucose. Schiff bases obtained from N,N′-(1R,2R)-1,2-cyclohexanediamine and 2-hydroxy-3-methylbenzaldehyde, 2-hydroxy-5-methylbenzaldehyde, have been used as ligands for copper(II), cobalt(II) and nickel(II). The complexes were characterized with UV–Vis, circular dichroism (CD), infrared, diamagnetic and paramagnetic 1H NMR spectroscopy. CD spectra revealed exciton coupled π→π* transitions. Assignments of LMCT and d–d transitions in CD spectra of Ni(II), Co(II) and Cu(II) complexes is proposed. CD data are characteristic for central ion tetrahedral distortion from the planarity and λ conformation of the cyclohexane ring. 1H NMR of Ni(II) complexes exhibited significant coordination shifts of CHN and ring protons which are in the closest proximity to Ni(II). The 1H NMR paramagnetic spectra of Co(II) complexes revealed the most upfield shifted resonance at −60 ppm assigned to CHN and −28 ppm to hydrogen atom at C(5′) of the phenyl ring. Results of spectral analyses suggest central ions in a distorted square-planar geometry with N2O2 chromofore group.  相似文献

Benzopyran compounds possess diverse pharmacological properties such as β-blockade, anticonvulsant and antimicrobial.[1,2] Our interest has been focused on the synthesis of 1-[6-Fluoro-2S]-3H,4H-dihydro-2H-2-chromenyl]-(1R)-1,2-ethanediol (6) and 1-[6-fluoro-(2R)-3H,4H-dihydro-2H-2-chromenyl]-(1R)-1,2-ethanediol (7) which are particularly convenient precursor to (S,R,R,R)-NE (8). 8 containing four asymmetrical carbon atoms was reported to be the most active isomer.[3] Chandrasekhar[4] has reported on the synthesis of 8. The key step to synthesize this compound is to obtain the chiral chromanone 6 and 7. 6 was accomplished in 8 steps by the Clasien rearrangement and a one-pot Sharpless asymmetric epoxidation, but the compound 7 was accomplished in 10 steps. Johannes[5] used Zr-catalytic kinetic resolution of allylic ethers and Mo-catalyzed chromene formation to synthesize 8 in 14 steps. However both of the methods request many synthetic steps and expensive reagents.  相似文献

An efficient and concise chiron approach toward the synthesis of (−)-muricatacin and its unnatural 7-oxa analogue starting from commercially available and inexpensive d-(+)-mannitol via an advanced common chiral precursor has been described. In addition, (4R,5R)-(−)-5-hydroxy-4-decanolide and (4R,5R)-(−)-7-oxa-5-hydroxy-4-dodecanolide were also synthesized to show the versatility of this synthetic strategy. The methodology involves the conversion of a common chiral intermediate, prepared from d-(+)-mannitol in six steps, to a variety of target molecules in only two steps.  相似文献

The multidentate Schiff-base ligand N′-(1-(pyrazin-2-yl)ethylidene)isonicotinohydrazide (HL) has been prepared. Reaction with zinc, copper, and silver nitrate afford three complexes, [Zn(HL′)2](NO3)2·3H2O (1), {[Cu2(L)2(NO3)(H2O)2]·NO3}n (2) and {[Ag2(L)2]·3H2O}n (3). These complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. In 1, HL is a neutral tridentate ligand, whereas in 2 and 3, HL is a deprotonated tetradentate ligand. The hydrogen bonding interactions between NO3? and the host framework result in various supramolecular polymeric structures: a 2-D layer for 1 and 3-D network for 2 and 3. The antibacterial activities of these complexes have been investigated and the results indicate that 3 showed good antibacterial activities.  相似文献

Jatropham, (R)-(−)-5-hydroxy-3-methyl-3-pyrrolin-2-one, is synthesized in three steps from citraconic anhydride. Highly regioselective reduction of citraconimide gives racemic jatropham in high yield. Kinetic resolution of racemic jatropham using lipase is also described.  相似文献

A 2,4,6-trisubstituted pyrimidine including a 2-(1H-indol-1-yl) substituent was synthesized by the reaction of 1-ferrocenyl-3-(2-chloroimidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-3-yl)propanone with 2,5-dimethoxytetrahydrofuran. The structure of the synthesized compound was confirmed by IR and 1Н NMR spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction analysis. It has been shown that the ferrocene-containing compounds synthesized in the present work all demonstrate intramolecular charge transfer which is evidenced by the observation of the corresponding absorption bands with λ absmax > 480 nm. The oxidation potential of ferrocene (E Fcox ) in all the compounds is higher than 700 mV.
