Condensation of 1-alkyl-4,5-dihydroxyimidazolidine-2-thiones (monoalkylthiourea-glyoxal cyclic adducts) with 1,3-dialkylureas affords novel 1,4,6-trialkylsemithio- glycolurils having non-substituted NH group linked to C=S function. Such compounds can be accessed in two-stage one-pot reaction sequence from alkylthioureas and glyoxal followed by treatment of the resulting adduct with 1,3-dialkylureas  相似文献

The two novel conglomerates were obtained by crystallization of racemic (2'S,3aS,6aR)/(2'R,3aR,6aS) (glycoluril-1-yl)-3-methylbutanoic acid and (2'R,3aR,6aR)/(2'S,3aS,6aS) (4,6-dimethylglycoluril-1-yl)pentanoic acid synthesized by highly diastereoselective condensation of 4,5-dihydroxy- imidazolidin-2-ones with racemic ureido acids. The differences in the molecular geometry of synthesized racemates were studied by X-ray diffraction that showed them to crystallize as conglomerates in non-centrosymmetric space groups Pna21 and P212121, respectively  相似文献

The electroreduction of CO2 was studied in methanol in the presence of mono- and diphthalocyanine complexes and phthalocyanine films prepared by electrochemical anodic polymerization. Methyl formate is the main reaction product of the reaction catalyzed by the mono- and diphthalocyanine complexes of rare-earth metals. Copper 2,9,16,23-tetra-tert-butylphthalocyanine allows the transformation of CO2 into methane in 30% yield. In the presence of both electropolymerized and graphite electrode-supported copper 2,9,16,23-tetraaminophthalocyanine, CO and methyl formate are the main reaction products.  相似文献

The following bromo-2,4(1H,3H)-pyrimidinediones possessing a bromo substituent at the 5-position and side chains at the 1- and 6-positions were prepared. The three types of mono-bromo derivatives are: 1-(bromoalkyl)-3,6-dimethyl- 3a-d , 5-bromo-3,6-dimethyl-1-(hydroxyalkyl)- 4a-d , and 1-(acetoxyalkyl)-5-bromo-3,6-dimethyl-2,4(1H,3H)-pyrimidinediones 11a-d . The three types of dibromo derivatives are: 5-bromo-1-(bromoalkyl)-3,6-dimethyl- Sa-d , 1-(acetoxyalkyl)-5-bromo-6-bromomethyl- 8a, 8c , and 8d , and 5-bromo-6-bromomethyl 1-(hydroxyalkyl)-2,4(1H,3H)-pyrimidinediones 9a, 9c , and 9d . Likewise one group of tribromo and one group of tetrabromo derivatives are: 5-bromo-1-(bromoalkyl)-6-bromomethyl -7a-d and 5-bromo-1-(bromoalkyl)-6-dibromomethyl-2,4(1H,3H)-pyrimidinediones 6a-d .  相似文献

The synthesis, complete characterization, and solid state conformation of a new series of p-tert-butylcalix[5]arene (ButC5) mono-, di-, tri- and pentaanions are reported. X-ray structures of the alkali metal salts illustrate the strong influence of the alkali metal ion on the structure of the calixanion. The strength of the alkali metal base and its reaction stoichiometry play an important role in the conformation and level of deprotonation of the resulting anion. Reaction of ButC5 in a 2:1 molar ratio with alkali metal bases M2CO3 (M = Rb, Cs), or in a 1:1 ratio with M2CO3 (M = Na, K), MOH (M = Na, K, Rb, Cs) or MH (M = Li, Na) produces ButC5 monoanions, but ButC5 reacts in a 1:1 molar ratio with M2CO3 (M = Rb, Cs) or a 1:2 molar ratio with MOC(CH3)3 (M = Na, K) to afford ButC5 dianions. Due to the steric bulkiness of the But group no polymeric structures are observed. Alkali metal salts of trianionic ButC5 were obtained in high yields from reactions of ButC5 with MOC(CH3)3 (M = Li, Na, K), BunLi, LiH and LiOH in a 1:3 molar ratio. Pentaanionic ButC5 salts were obtained by the reaction with MOC(CH3)3 (M = Li, Na, K) or BunLi in a 5:1 ratio. X-ray crystal structures of ButC5 · Na and ButC5 · Cs indicate that the size of the alkali metal influences the level of cation-π arene interactions and therefore the conformation of the ButC5 unit; for example, ButC5 · Na has a cone conformation while ButC5 · Cs shows a flattened cone conformation. Cation-π arene interactions are observed in most of the calixarene salts.  相似文献

3′-Sulfated and 3′,6′-disulfated Lewis x trisaccharides have been prepared through selective sulfation of methyl 2-acetamido-6-O-benzyl-2-deoxy-4-O-β-D-galactopyranosyl-3-O-(2,3,4-tri-O-benzyl-α-L-fucopyranosyl)-β-D-glucopyranoside, followed by catalytic hydrogenolysis. In a similar manner, 3′,6-disulfated and 3′,6,6′-trisulfated Lewis x trisaccharides have been selectively obtained from methyl 2-acetamido-2-deoxy-4-O-β-D-galactopyranosyl-3-O-(2,3,4-tri-O-benzyl-α-L-fucopyranosyl)-β-D-glucopyranoside.  相似文献

Cyclization of γ-amino-α-bromocarboxylic esters resulted in an efficient synthesis of new 3,3-dimethoxyazetidine-2-carboxylates, that is, methyl N-t-butyl-3,3-dimethoxyazetidine-2-carboxylic ester and 3,3-dimethoxyazetidine-2-carboxylic acid, or 3-bromo-4,4-dimethoxypyrrolidin-2-ones, depending on the substituent at nitrogen. Reduction of the 3,3-dimethoxyazetidine-2-carboxylates gave the corresponding 3,3-dimethoxy-2-(hydroxymethyl)azetidines. These novel cyclic amino acid derivatives, available on multigram scale, have a suitably protected carbonyl function at the 3-position, which enables further functionalization.  相似文献

One of the powerful antioxidants used clinically is Edaravone (EDA). We synthesized a series of new EDA analogs, 4-aminopyrazol-5-ol hydrochlorides, including polyfluoroalkyl derivatives, via the reduction of 4-hydroxyiminopyrazol-5-ones. The primary antioxidant activity of the compounds in comparison with EDA was investigated in vitro using ABTS, FRAP, and ORAC tests. In all tests, 4-Amino-3-pyrazol-5-ols were effective. The lead compound, 4-amino-3-methyl-1-phenylpyrazol-5-ol hydrochloride (APH), showed the following activities: ABTS, 0.93 TEAC; FRAP, 0.98 TE; and ORAC, 4.39 TE. APH and its NH-analog were not cytotoxic against cultured normal human fibroblasts even at 100 μM, in contrast to EDA. According to QM calculations, 4-aminopyrazolols were characterized by lower gaps, IP, and η compared to 4-hydroxyiminopyrazol-5-ones, consistent with their higher antioxidant activities in ABTS and FRAP tests, realized by the SET mechanism. The radical-scavenging action evaluated in the ORAC test occurred by the HAT mechanism through OH bond breaking in all compounds, directly dependent on the dissociation energy of the OH bond. All the studied compounds demonstrated the absence of anticholinesterase activity and moderate inhibition of CES by some 4-aminopyrazolols. Thus, the lead compound APH was found to be a good antioxidant with the potential to be developed as a novel therapeutic drug candidate in the treatment of diseases associated with oxidative stress.  相似文献

Herein we present the enantioseparation of 10 cardiovascular agents and six bronchiectasis drugs including propranolol, carteolol, metoprolol, atenolol, pindolol, esmolol, bisoprolol, bevantolol, arotinolol, sotalol, clenbuterol, procaterol, bambuterol, tranterol, salbutamol and terbutaline sulfate using carboxymethyl‐β ‐cyclodextrin (CM‐β ‐CD) as chiral selector. To our knowledge, there is no literature about using CM‐β ‐CD for separating carteolol, esmolol, bisoprolol, bevantolol, arotinolol, procaterol, bambuterol and tranterol. During the course of work, changes in pH, CM‐β ‐CD concentration, buffer type and concentration were studied in relation to chiral resolution. Excellent enantiomeric separations were obtained for all 16 compounds, especially for procaterol. An impressive resolution value, up to 17.10, was obtained. In particular, most of them achieved rapid separations within 20 min. Given the fact that enantioseparation results rely on analytes' structural characters, the possible separation mechanisms were discussed. In addition, in order to obtain faster separation for propranolol enantiomers in practical application, the effective length of capillary was innovatively shortened from 45 to 30 cm. After the validation, the method was successfully applied to the enantiomeric purity determination of propranolol in the formulation of drug substances.  相似文献

Procedures were developed for the synthesis of substituted bis(2,5-dimethyl-3-thienyl)ethenes containing the imidazol-2-one, 1,3-dioxol-2-one, or 1,3-oxazol-2-one fragments as ethene bridges. These compounds were demonstrated to exhibit the photochromic properties. The cyclic forms of some imidazolone and oxazolone photochromes possess high thermal stability. The structure of photochromic 4,5-bis(4-acetyl-2,5-dimethyl-3-thienyl)-3-methyl-2,3-dihydro-1,3-oxazol-2-one was established by X-ray diffraction analysis. The molecule adopts an anti-parallel conformation similar to that of perfluorocyclopentene-bridged dithienylethenes.  相似文献

A monomeric boronate and an oxobridged chiral dimer were obtained by reaction of the ligand derived from 4-diethylaminosalicylaldehyde with (R)-(−)-phenylglycinol, and phenyl boronic acid or boric acid. The compounds were fully characterized by spectroscopic techniques (1H, 13C, 11B NMR, elemental analyses, IR and masses spectrometry); and their molecular hyperpolarizabilities were investigated by the electric field induced second harmonic (EFISH) technique and semi-empirical calculations. The experimental quadratic hyperpolarizability which is equal to 9.8 × 10−30 cm5 esu−1 at 1.064 μm for the monomeric derivative rises to 19.5 × 10−30 cm5 esu−1 in the dimeric specie.  相似文献

Self-organisation and self-assembly are critical to the stability of synthetic and biological membranes. Of particular importance is consideration of the packing arrangements of the various molecular species. Both phospho- and glycolipids can pack in ways in which curvature can be introduced into self-organised or self-assembled systems. For instance, it is known that the degree of curvature can affect the structures of any condensed phases that are formed. In this article we report on a systematic study in which we have varied the shapes of glycolipids and examined the condensed phases that they form. In doing so, we have also unified the shape dependency of lyotropic liquid crystals with those of thermotropic liquid crystals. In order to undertake this systematic study a range of different pentaerythritol derivatives was synthesized, which covers combinations of one to three alkyl chains of different lengths (6,7,9,10,11,12,14,16 carbon atoms) and three to one galactosyl heads. Mono- and di-O-galactosyl derivatives were prepared directly by glycosylation of the corresponding alcohols using 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-benzoyl or acetyl-alpha-D-galactopyranosyl trichloroacetimidate or bromide as the donors; the tri-O-galactosyl derivatives were synthesized from O-alkyl-O-benzyl di-O-galactosyl pentaerythritol intermediates, followed by de-O-benzylation and glycosylation steps. All of the fully deprotected products were obtained by standard methods, and their self-organising and self-assembling properties examined.  相似文献

Optimal conditions for the preparation of 9-ethyl-, 9,12-diethyl, 8,9,12-triethyl-, and 8,9,10,12-tetraethyl-o-carboranes under the action of EtBr on o-carborane in the presence of AICl3 were determined. The behavior of these o-carborane derivatives towards electrophilic and nucleophilic reagents was studied. The presence of four ethyl groups in positions 8, 9, 10, and 12 of the carborane polyhedron increases the electron density on the boron atoms in positions 4, 5, 7, and II to the point where they are able to enter into reactions of electrophilic substitution, and in positions 3 and 6 to the point that they become resistant to the action of nucleophilic reagents. Both enantiomers of the first atropisomeric phosphinine (1) have been isolated by using analytical HPLC on a chiral stationary phase. The enrichment of one enantiomer and a subsequent investigation into its racemization kinetics revealed a barrier for internal rotation of DeltaG(298)(double dagger) = (109.5+/-0.5) kJ mol(-1), which is in excellent agreement with the theoretically predicted value of DeltaG(298)(double dagger) =116 kJ mol(-1). Further analysis with UV and circular dichroism spectroscopies and density functional theory calculations led to the determination and assignment of the absolute configurations of both enantiomers. These results are the basis for future investigations into this new class of axially chiral phosphinine-based ligands and their possible applications in asymmetric homogeneous catalysis.  相似文献

The electrophilic reactions (nitration, bromination, hydroxymethylation, formylation, acylation) and radical substitution reactions (nitration, arylation) of 2-(2-furyl)benzothiazole have been studied. It was found that all of the reactions occur at position 5 of the furan ring. Only nitration in PPA gave the 5',6-dinitro derivative. Quantum-chemical calculation data for the electron density distribution in the neutral and protonated 2-(2-furyl)benzothiazole molecules are given. Electrical and structural properties of mono-, di-, tri- and tetrafluorothiophenes and their radical cations have been studied using density functional theory and B3LYP method with 6-311++G** basis set. The effects of the number and position of the substituent of fluorine atoms on the properties of the thiophene ring have been studied using optimized structures obtained for these molecules and their radical cations. Vibrational frequencies, spin-density distribution, size and direction of dipole moment vector, ionization potential, electric polarizability, HOMO-LUMO gaps and NICS values of these compounds have been calculated as well. The analysis of these data showed that double bonds in 3-fluorothiophene are more delocalized and it is the best possible candidate monomer among all fluorothiophenes for the synthesis of corresponding conducting polymers with modified characteristics.  相似文献

The structural characteristics of a mucin glycopeptide motif derived from the N-terminal fragment STTAV of the cell surface glycoprotein CD43 have been investigated by NMR. In this study, a series of molecules prepared by total synthesis were examined, consisting of the peptide itself, three glycopeptides having clustered sites of alpha-O-glycosylation on the serine and threonine side chains with the Tn, TF, and STF carbohydrate antigens, respectively, and one with the beta-O-linked TF antigen. Additionally, a glycopeptide having the sequence SSSAVAV, triglycosylated with the Le(y) epitope, was investigated. NMR data for the tri-STF-STTAV glycopeptide were used to solve the structure of this construct through restrained molecular dynamics calculations. The calculations revealed a defined conformation for the glycopeptide core rooted in the interaction of the peptide and the first N-acetylgalactosamine residue. The similarity of the NMR data for each of the alpha-O-linked glycopeptides demonstrates that this structure persists for each construct and that the mode of attachment of the first sugar and the peptide is paramount in establishing the organization of the core. The core provides a common framework on which a variety of glycans may be displayed. Remarkably, while there is a profound organizational effect on the peptide backbone with the alpha-linked glycans, attachment via a beta-linkage has little apparent consequence.  相似文献
