As an application, the existence of a nonnegative (positive) solution of a nonlinear boundary problem is established. We present a principle of approximate solutions of constrained inverse Lipschitz function problems. As corollaries and applications of the principle, we obtain a result of convergence of an approximate solutions sequence for the constrained problems, a conclusion relating direct and inverse images of upper and lower limits of a sequence of subsets, and several versions of inverse Lipschitz function theorems. Finally we give local uniqueness criteria for solutions to constrained nonlinear problems in finite dimension spaces.  相似文献

This work is devoted to the solvability and finite time blow-up of solutions of the Cauchy problem for the dissipative Boussinesq equation in all space dimension. We prove the existence and uniqueness of local mild solutions in the phase space by means of the contraction mapping principle. By establishing the time-space estimates of the corresponding Green operators, we obtain the continuation principle. Under some restriction on the initial data, we further study the results on existence and uniqueness of global solutions and finite time blow-up of solutions with the initial energy at three different level. Moreover, the sufficient and necessary conditions of finite time blow-up of solutions are given.  相似文献

Backward stochastic Volterra integral equations (BSVIEs, for short) are introduced. The existence and uniqueness of adapted solutions are established. A duality principle between linear BSVIEs and (forward) stochastic Volterra integral equations is obtained. As applications of the duality principle, a comparison theorem is proved for the adapted solutions of BSVIEs, and a Pontryagin type maximum principle is established for an optimal control of stochastic integral equations.  相似文献

We prove existence of solutions to the initial-boundary value problem for the quasistationary phase field equations with a multidimensional order parameter. We show that these solutions satisfy the entropy maximum principle and the entropy production minimum principle. 本文讨论非线性电报方程u_(tt)-u_(xx)+cu_t=F(t,x,u),(t,x)∈R~2时空双2π周期解的存在性。改进了Ortega与Robles-Perez关于线性电报方程双周期解的极大值原理,应用新获得的极大值原理,推广了相应的上下解定理,并且加强了极大值原理的结论,建立了线性方程解的强正性估计,利用这个强正性估计及锥上的不动点定理获得了超线性电报方程及奇异电报方程正双周期解的存在性。  相似文献

In this paper, we consider an age-structured population model with diffusion. We first establish a comparison principle. We then apply the comparison principle to show the existence and uniqueness of solutions by constructing monotone sequences of weak upper and lower solutions. We also use the comparison principle to study the long-time behavior of the solution and present extinction and boundedness results under certain conditions on the parameters in the model. Additionally, as an example of its application, we apply the model to describe the dynamics of a forest population.  相似文献

The purpose of this article is to investigate an averaging principle for multi-valued stochastic differential equations (MSDEs) driven by Poisson point processes. The solutions to MSDEs driven by Poisson point processes can be approximated by solutions to averaged MSDEs in the sense of both convergence in mean square and convergence in probability. The Hirota bilinear method is a powerful tool for solving nonlinear evolution equations. Together with the linear superposition principle, it can be used to find a special class of explicit solutions that correspond to complex eigenvalues of associated characteristic problems. These solutions are known as complexiton solutions or simply complexitons. In this article, we study complexiton solutions of the the Hirota‐Satsuma‐Ito equation which is a (2 + 1)‐dimensional extension of the Hirota‐Satsuma shallow water wave equation known to describe propagation of unidirectional shallow water waves. We first construct hyperbolic function solutions and consequently derive the so‐called complexitons via the Hirota bilinear method and the linear superposition principle. In particular, we find nonsingular complexiton solutions to the Hirota‐Satsuma‐Ito equation. Finally, we give some illustrative examples and a few concluding remarks.  相似文献

Classical solutions of a second order parabolic partial differential equation are considered in unbounded domains. The coefficients are allowed to have unbounded growth as the space variables tend to infinity. A Phragmèn-Lindelöf principle is proved for such equations. That principle is used together with comparison functions to derive sufficient conditions for the asymptotic decay in time of solutions.  相似文献
