可见光通信作为一种新型无线通信技术,在海上舰船场景中的应用吸引了广泛的关注.海上可见光通信系统受多种因素的影响,包括海浪随机起伏和大气湍流,大气湍流将导致可见光信号的强度随机波动,降低可见光通信系统在大气中的链路质量.本文基于对数正态衰减分布,建立了采用重复编码的海上可见光通信的链路评估模型.在此基础上,根据Pierson-Moskowitz海谱,分析了海上风速、大气折射率结构常数、能见度、重复编码分集度以及接收器孔径对可见光通信系统平均误码率的影响.本文提出的海上大气链路评估模型可为海上可见光通信网络的搭建提供重要参考.  相似文献

In this research paper, we propose a two-hop integrated radio frequency–visible light communication (RF–VLC) system which may provide a better option to transceive between the hospitals and some laboratory to transfer patient’s information. In the proposed system model, the data (such as patient’s lab test reports) is transmitted towards the amplify and forward (AF) relay mounted on the top of the hospital building via the RF channel. Further, the AF relay amplifies and converts the received information into corresponding optical signal using light emitting diodes (LED) and supporting circuitry. This optical signal is then forwarded towards the destination device (equipped with VLC transceiver), via the VLC channel. To analyse the performance of the system, we first derive the closed form analytical expressions for the cumulative distribution function (CDF) of the end-to-end (e2e) signal to noise ratio (SNR) of the system by using the moment generating function (MGF) of the SNR of the individual RF and VLC channels. Further, we use these statistical expressions to obtain the outage probability, average bit error rate (BER) and the average capacity of the system. Moreover, the asymptotic performance of the proposed system is also analysed to study the system’s behaviour at high SNR regimes. Finally, we studied the impact of the variations in channel parameters on the proposed system model performance through numerically simulated plots.  相似文献

LED照明与可见光通信技术相结合,构建出基于LED可见光无线通信系统。对室内VLC(Visible Light Communication)系统的白光LED光源特性和系统信道模型分析,提出照明光源布局设计与接收光功率分布的关系;对强度调制直接检测方式的室内VLC系统中信噪比和多径效应引起的码间串扰分析,提出采用光分集接收技术克服码间串扰和提高信噪比,并给出光检测器阵列布局的模型。建立VLC系统仿真模型,给出OOK-NRZ (On-Off Keying & Non-Return Zero)和OOK-RZ(On-Off Keying & Return Zero)调制方式的误码率和均方根时延扩展之间的关系曲线。仿真结果表明,接收光功率相同时,均方根时延扩展时间大于1.0 ns时,OOK-RZ特性优于OOK-NRZ。  相似文献

The present research work aims at analyzing a variable gain amplify-and-forward (AF) relaying system with reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) systems to set-up a mixed communication system with visible light communication (VLC). The RIS and VLC forms of communication will hold utmost importance in the future generations of wireless communication. However, while implementation, various practical challenges are to be dealt with. One such challenge is the impact of interference on the reliability of the communication setup. To evaluate this, it has been assumed that the channel state information (CSI) aided amplify-and-forward (AF) relay node operates in the vicinity of multiple co-channel interferers (CCIs). For the considered system model, closed-form expressions have been derived for outage probability and bit error rate (BER) of the system. The formulation of symbol error rate (SER) has also been presented to generalize the findings. The analysis has been taken forward to showcase the impact of various system parameters such as number of elements in RIS, length and inclination angles of the VLC system along with number and strength of the interferers in system. It has been observed during investigation that the increment in the number of reflecting elements in the RIS has a major contribution in minimizing the signal degradation caused due to the multiple CCIs. Numerical results have been verified using the Monte-Carlo simulations.  相似文献

针对室内可见光通信(VLC)光链路发射源(LED器件)有限的调制带宽问题,基于多维无载波幅度相位调制(CAP)技术,提出一种频带利用率高效的光空间调制方案(OSM-CAP)。OSM-CAP系统将输入信息序列分成两部分,一部分进行空域映射即空间调制,其结果用来选择激活的LED;另一部分进行信号域映射,即CAP调制。其中,CAP调制采用序列二次规划算法求取的时域正交多维CAP滤波器组实现。对于采用强度调制/直接检测(IM/DD)的VLC系统,该CAP信号还将进行单极化处理,文中提出两种相应的解决方案,即采用添加直流偏置(OSM-DCO/CAP方案)和零值位置极性编码(OSM-U/CAP方案)。基于朗伯体辐射模型,且可见光背景噪声建模为加性高斯白噪声,推导了OSM-DCO/CAP、OSM-U/CAP调制方案的误码率理论解,仿真验证了其准确性。在5 m×5 m×3 m的室内场景下,探讨了无载波幅度相位调制维度以及接收机个数、发射机间距、收发平面距离以及链路遮挡情况等信道参数对系统性能的影响。结果表明,星座调制阶数相同时,CAP调制维度越高,误码性能越好;接收机个数增多、发射机间距加大以及收发平面距离减小与系统可靠性存在正相关关系;链路存在遮挡情况时,会提高信道间的差异性,改善系统性能。  相似文献

We propose and demonstrate a simple digital post-equalization technique to improve the bandwidth-limitation of light-emitting-diode (LED) visible-light-communication (VLC) channel. The design of finite-impulse-response equalizer according to the channel response is presented to improve the bandwidth limitation of LED VLC channel. Here, no optical blue filter is used. The simulation and experimental results show $\sim $ 10 times enhancement of the direct modulation speed of white-light LED VLC system. When compares with the previous demonstration using high-pass equalization circuit constructed by lumped capacitor and resistor, the proposed scheme shows an improvement in signal quality and transmission distance, and a 10 Mbit/s error-free free-space transmission over 1 m can be achieved under the bit error rate of $< 10^{-9}$ < 10 ? 9 .  相似文献

Blind channel estimation (CE) methods for OFDM based RF communication provide high-rate transmission by eliminating pilot overhead in conventional pilot-based methods, at the cost of lower accuracy. However, there is no work on the blind CE for OFDM based visible light communication (VLC) systems. In this paper, we propose a novel blind CE method for vehicular VLC with the goal of improving CE accuracy based on the exploitation of the channel statistics derived, by utilizing extensive amount of data collected for different communication angles, distances, and ambient light conditions. First, the normalized channel frequency response (CFR) of the V2LC channel is demonstrated to be invariant of inter-vehicular distance, relative transmitter/receiver zenith angle and ambient light. Then, this channel characteristic is exploited in the blind CE to improve its accuracy with two-step estimation of normalization factor. Extensive simulations at different vehicle speeds show that the proposed method outperforms the pilot-based and superimposed training-based CE methods in terms of spectral efficiency both for all modulation schemes and at all relative speeds. The proposed blind channel estimation (CE) method provides 9.77% increase in the spectral efficiency, compared to the second best method, superimposed training-based CE, at 20 dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and 160 km/h relative speed, for 64-Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) Direct Current-Biased Optical Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (DCO-OFDM). Moreover, the real-time performance of the proposed blind CE is demonstrated for a realistic vehicle mobility scenario extracted from SUMO.  相似文献

This letter presents a model of an indoor light positioning system(LPS) based on white LEDs and a camera.The position of an LPS receiver is determined through both its relative position to LEDs according to their images captured by the camera and LEDs' absolute position information in the navigation frame, obtained through a visible light communication(VLC) link. The error performance of the proposed LPS is analyzed.The mean error and mean square error(MSE) of estimated receiver position using least squares(LS) and weighted least squares(WLS) estimators are both derived in the presence of non-uniform measurement bias and white Gaussian noise. The effects of communication data rate on the positioning accuracy are also studied through BER performance.  相似文献

光纤网络的通信质量受到云数据调度均衡性影响很大,为了改善光纤网络通信质量,提高网络中云数据传输的吞吐量和保真率,通过云数据并行调度,实现云数据传输均衡,提出一种基于自适应判决反馈均衡的光纤网络云数据并行调度模型。构建光纤网络通信的传输信道模型,采用最小均方误差估计方法进行光纤网络的量化融合估计,运用匹配滤波检测器进行云数据中的干扰滤波处理,结合自适应判决反馈均衡方法进行信道均衡,在均衡的信道中对滤波输出的云数据进行并行调度和多线程输出调制。仿真结果表明,采用该方法进行光纤网络中的云数据并行调度的均衡性较好,输出数据的保真率较高,误码率较低,改善了光纤网络的整体性能。  相似文献

可见光通信(VLC)系统通常采用多阵列光源布局方式来兼顾照明与通信双重功能,因此需要使用多输入多输出(MIMO)技术进行多天线协同传输来实现高速率通信。然而传统MIMO系统中采用平均功率分配来实现空间复用,无法充分体现MIMO多天线协调传输的优势。根据每组收发天线信道状态的差异,设计了一种低计算复杂度的快速迭代注水算法,可实现依据信道特征自适应的分配信息,从而提高系统的信道容量。仿真结果表明:在相同信噪比情况下注水算法自适应功率分配系统比等功率分配系统的信道容量提高了1.25 bit/Hz左右。  相似文献

With the rapid development of the light-emitting diode(LED) industry, interest in visible light communication(VLC) is growing. The limited bandwidth of commercial LEDs is one of the main challenges to achieve highspeed VLC. In this Letter, a kind of bandwidth-efficient VLC system based on carrierless amplitude and phase(CAP) modulation is proposed, where a simple differential faster-than-Nyquist(FTN) pre-coding scheme is employed to compress the spectrum and further improve the overall system baud rate. The system is experimentally demonstrated with a data rate of 1.47-Gb/s over 1.5 m free space transmission. The results indicate that an improvement of 80 Mbaud is achieved by FTN-CAP4 at 20% subband overlap and 40 Mbaud rate improvement by FTN-CAP16 at 7.5% subband overlap. Compared with traditional CAP, the FTN pre-coded CAP shows a better performance in spectral efficiency(SE) and intercarrier interference resistance. To the best of our knowledge, it is the first time to employ FTN pre-coded CAP in indoor high-data-rate VLC systems.  相似文献

The Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communication (URLLC) is expected to be an important feature of 5G and beyond networks. Supporting URLLC in a resource-efficient manner demands optimal Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS) selection and spectrum allocation. This paper presents a study on MCS selection and spectrum allocation to support URLLC. The essential idea is to establish an analytical connection between the delay and reliability requirements of URLLC data transmission and the underlying MCS selection and spectrum allocation. In particular, the connection factors in fundamental aspects of wireless data communication include channel quality, coding and modulation, spectrum allocation and data traffic characteristics. With this connection, MCS selection and spectrum allocation can be efficiently performed based on the delay and reliability requirements of URLLC. Theoretical results in the scenario of a 5G New Radio system are presented, where the Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) thresholds for adaptive MCS selection, data-transmission rate and delay, as well as spectrum allocation under different configurations, including data duplication, are discussed. Simulation results are also obtained and compared with the theoretical results, which validate the analysis and its efficiency.  相似文献

5G will have to cope with a high degree of heterogeneity in terms of services and requirements. Among these latter, flexible and efficient use of all available non-contiguous spectra for different network deployment scenarios is one challenge for the future 5G. To maximize spectrum efficiency, a flexible 5G air interface technology capable of mapping various services to the best suitable combinations of frequency and radio resources will also be required. In this work, a fair comparison of several 5G waveform candidates (UFMC, FBMC-OQAM, and FBMC-QAM) is proposed under a common framework. Spectral efficiency, power spectral density, peak to average power ratio and performance in terms of bit error rate under various realistic channel conditions are assessed. The waveforms are then compared in an asynchronous multi-user uplink transmission. Based on these results, in order to increase the spectral efficiency, a bit loading algorithm is proposed to cope with the non-uniform distribution of the interference across the carriers. The benefits of these new waveforms for the foreseen 5G use cases are clearly highlighted. It is also stressed that some concepts still need to be improved to achieve the full range of expected benefits of 5G.  相似文献

In this Letter,we propose a novel constellation-shaping carrier-less amplitude and phase(CAP) modulation scheme to alleviate the systematic nonlinearity in visible light communication(VLC) systems.A simple geometric transformation shaping method is employed to convert the normal square lattice constellation into multiple circular constellations.The feasibility and performance are investigated and experimentally demonstrated by a 1.25 Gb/s CAP-modulated VLC system.The results indicate that the circular constellation has better resistance to systematic nonlinearity compared with a rectangular constellation.The dynamic range of input signal peak-to-peak values promotes 20% at a low bias voltage nonlinear area and 50% at a high bias voltage nonlinear area.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first time constellation-shaping CAP has ever been reported in indoor high data rate VLC systems.  相似文献

We quantify the error statistics and patterning effects in a 5 × 40 Gbit/s WDM RZ-OOK SMF/DCF fibre link using hybrid Raman/EDFA amplification. By extensive use of a numerical model, we determine how the error statistics change with the transmission distance. This knowledge is used as a basis for a constrained coding technique in order to improve the transmission error rate. We propose an adaptive constrained code for mitigation of the patterning effects and demonstrate that this approach can substantially reduce the bit error rate (BER) even for very large values of the channel BER (BER > 10− 1). The proposed technique can be used in combination with forward error correction schemes (FEC) to extend the range of channel BERs that an FEC scheme is effective over.  相似文献

针对室内可见光通信系统的应用需求,设计了一种新型两级光学接收天线.根据复合抛物面聚光器光学增益随视场增大而减小的聚光特性,将复合抛物面聚光器截面基准曲线旋转设计得到具有一定旋转角与厚度的透镜壁复合抛物面聚光器.进一步结合透镜壁复合抛物面聚光器和半球透镜的优势设计了一种新型两级光学接收天线,在增益保持的情况下视场角增大了近20~?.在一个5 m×5 m×3 m的空旷房间,通过Trace Pro建立光学天线的分析模型,Matlab软件对室内可见光通信系统进行信道建模.计算结果表明,采用这种新型两级光学接收天线,与直接接收的情况相比,平均接收功率增幅为757.2%,是复合抛物面聚光器的5.62倍;信噪比平均值增幅为28.07%,是复合抛物面聚光器的1.67倍;光学增益为11.49,是复合抛物面聚光器的2.81倍.且光斑半径仅为2.5 mm,较复合抛物面聚光器减小了近37.5%,使得能量集中均匀分布,进一步证实该新型两级光学接收天线适用于室内可见光通信系统.  相似文献

High-rate techniques, such as optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) and color shift keying(CSK), have been proposed for visible light communication(VLC). To fully exploit their advantages,in this Letter, we design a modulation scheme called rotated polarity modulation(RPM) aided complex CSK(CCSK) for OFDM-based VLC systems and derive its theoretical bit error rate and an optimal scaling factor. Analytical and simulation results show that in comparison to the existing schemes, the new RPM-CCSK-OFDM system offers an improved link performance and data rate under a modest complexity.It can also be applied to VLC systems equipped with different types of LED devices, thus enabling flexible deployments.  相似文献

To provide high-quality communication in the indoor generalized space shift keying (GSSK) aided visible light communications (VLC) downlink transmission, especially when the line-of-sight (LoS) link is blocked, a metasurface aided intelligent reflecting surfaces (mIRS) scheme is proposed. By controlling the reflection characteristics of incident light in a deliberate manner provided in this paper, the proposed mIRS-assisted indoor GSSK-VLC downlink can significantly enhance the signal quality at the receiver end. Furthermore, the maximum likelihood (ML) and efficient preprocessing enabled sparsity orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP) detectors are respectively presented for the considered system. Finally, simulations are demonstrated to verify the effectiveness of the proposed mIRS-assisted indoor GSSK-VLC downlink transmission.  相似文献

This tutorial focuses on devices and technologies that are part of laser-based visible light communication(VLC)systems. Laser-based VLC systems have advantages over their light-emitting-diode-based counterparts, including having high transmission speed and long transmission distance. We summarize terminologies related to laser-based solid-state lighting and VLC, and further review the advances in device design and performance.The high-speed modulation characteristics of laser diodes and superluminescent diodes and the on-chip integration of optoelectronic components in the visible color regime, such as the high-speed integrated photodetector,are introduced. The modulation technology for laser-based white light communication systems and the challenges for future development are then discussed.  相似文献

With the wide range of commercial uses of fifth generation (5G), new radio (NR) communication networks, the wireless transmission becomes more efficient, reliable and faster. At the same time, high-quality signal transmission for 5G networks and beyond has also encountered new opportunities and challenges. Channel coding is a key technology to ensure reliable information transmission and service quality. However, the 5G-NR LDPC coded bit-interleaved coded modulation (BICM) sometimes suffers from relatively high error floors, so it can not always guarantee the high-quality and low-delay wireless transmission. In this paper, we propose a further redesign of the 5G-NR LDPC coded BICM based on genetic algorithm (GenAlg). By adjusting the number of the non-zero elements, the corresponding positions and shifting values in base matrix, we optimize the 5G-NR LDPC codes with GenAlg according to the error performances of coded BICM schemes. Simulation results show that the optimized 5G-NR LDPC codes which still support length and rate compatible coding have lower error floors with a little performance loss int the waterfall region compared to the standard 5G-NR LDPC codes with different modulation orders.  相似文献
