Convergence of Rational Interpolants with Preassigned Poles

Let Ω be a domain in the extended complex plane such that ∞∈Ω . Further, let K= C / Ω and, for each n , let Q _n be a monic polynomial of degree n with all its zeros in K . This paper is concerned with whether (Q _n ) can be chosen so that, if f is any holomorphic function on Ω and P _n is the polynomial part of the Laurent expansion of Q _n f at ∞ , then (P _n /Q _n ) converges to f locally uniformly on Ω . It is shown that such a sequence (Q _n ) can be chosen if and only if either K has zero logarithmic capacity or Ω is regular. January 21, 1999. Date accepted: August 17, 1999.

Vector-valued Rational Interpolants II

Formulae for rational interpolation of vector data (in a spaceC^[d]) at distinct points are given. Its confluent case of vector-valuedPadé approximation is shown to be equivalent to the Germanpolynomial approximation problem. Formulae are given for thevector of numerator polynomials and for the denominator polynomial.A continued fraction interpolant for vector data is also given.The methods are characterized by their requirement that certaindistinguished directions in the space C^[d] form part of thespecification. The case of matrix Padé approximants forthe partial realization problem is explicitly discussed.

Ambroladze and Wallin have posed several problems, about balayage of measures, which arose from work on approximation by polynomial and rational interpolation in the complex plane. 众所周知, Hermite有理插值比Hermite多项式插值具有更好的逼近性, 特别是对于插值点序列较大时, 但很难解决收敛性问题和控制实极点的出现. 本文建立了一类线性Hermite重心有理插值函数$r(x)$,并证明其具有以下优良性质: 第一, 在实数范围内无极点; 第二, 当$k=0,1,2$时,无论插值节点如何分布, 函数$r^{(k)}(x)$具有$O(h^{3d+3-k})$的收敛速度; 第三, 插值函数$r(x)$仅仅线性依赖于插值数据.

首先提出了二元对角向量值有理插值问题,它包括主对角和副对角两种向量值有理插值,并分别给出了主对角线和副对角线上向量值有理插值的两种算法,即直接求系数bi,j的算法和基于Samelson广义逆所定义的特殊初等变换的矩阵算法.然后构造了在预给极点情况下求主对角线和副对角线上向量值有理插值的矩阵算法.最后给出多个数值例子说明上述算法的有效性.

文章给出了对于矩形网格上基于二元Newton插值公式的二元向量值有理插值存在性的充要条件.在存在的情况下,建立了具有显式表达式的不同于向量连分式的二元向量值有理插值函数,并且这种方法具有承袭性.最后给出的实例说明了这种算法的有效性.

借助于Ｓｏｍｅｌｓｏｎ广义逆，文［１］首次讨论了多元向量有理插值问题．本文得到了二元Ｔｈｉｅｌｅ型向量有理插值的一个精确的误差公式．     

分式线性迭代数列的敛散性及收敛速度

若a_i,b_i0(i=1,2),|a_1 a_2b_1 b_2|≠0,则数列x_10,x_(n+1)=a_1x_n+a_2/b_1x_n+b_2收敛.若迭代过程中,xn(n=1,2,…)全不是φ(x)=a1x+a2/b1x+b2的不动点,则迭代数列{xn}线性收敛.
