If f and g are functions in the Besov space $B_p^{s\text{,}q}(\mathbb{R})$, such that g is real valued and such that $f(0)=0$, then the composed function $f○g$ belongs to $B_p^{s\text{,}q}(\mathbb{R})$. Bivariate identities related to Chebyshev and Dickson polynomials over Fq

Let ${\mathbb{F}}_q$ be a field of q elements, where q is a power of an odd prime p. The polynomial $f(y)\in {\mathbb{F}}_q[y]$ defined by$f(y):={(1+\sqrt{y})}^{(q+1)/2}+{(1-\sqrt{y})}^{(q+1)/2}$ has the property that$f(1-y)=\rho (2)f(y),$ where ρ is the quadratic character on ${\mathbb{F}}_q$. This univariate identity was applied to prove a recent theorem of N. Katz. We formulate and prove a bivariate extension, and give an application to quadratic residuacity.     

On the radial distribution of Julia sets of entire solutions of f(n)+A(z)f=0

This paper is devoted to studying the dynamical properties of solutions of $f^{(n)}+A(z)f=0$, where $n(?2)$ is an integer, and $A(z)$ is a transcendental entire function of finite order. We find the lower bound on the radial distribution of Julia sets of $E(z)$ provided that $E=f_1{f}_2?f_n$ and $\{f_1,f_2,\dots ,f_n\}$ is a solution base of such equations.
