We define derived equivalent invariants for gentle algebras, constructed in an easy combinatorial way from the quiver with relations defining these algebras. Our invariants consist of pairs of natural numbers and contain important information about the algebra and the structure of the stable Auslander-Reiten quiver of its repetitive algebra. As a by-product we obtain that the number of arrows of the quiver of a gentle algebra is invariant under derived equivalence. Finally, our invariants separate the derived equivalence classes of gentle algebras with at most one cycle.  相似文献

We introduce and study the class of weighted locally gentle quivers. This naturally extends the class of gentle quivers and gentle algebras, which have been intensively studied in the representation theory of finite-dimensional algebras, to a wider class of potentially infinite-dimensional algebras. Weights on the arrows of these quivers lead to gradings on the corresponding algebras. For natural grading by path lengths, any locally gentle algebra is Koszul. The class of locally gentle algebras consists of the gentle algebras together with their Koszul duals.Our main result is a general combinatorial formula for the determinant of the weighted Cartan matrix of a weighted locally gentle quiver. We show that this weighted Cartan determinant is a rational function which is completely determined by the combinatorics of the quiver-more precisely by the number and the weight of certain oriented cycles.  相似文献

By introducing a twisted Hopf algebra we unify several important objects of study. Skew derivations of such an algebra are defined and the corresponding skew differential operator algebras are studied. This generalizes results in the Weyl algebra. Applying this investigation to the twisted Ringel-Hall algebra we get, in particular, a natural realization of the non-positive part of a quantized generalized Kac-Moody algebra, by identifying the canonical generators with some linear, skew differential operators. This also induces some algebras which are quantum-group like.  相似文献

We study cluster algebras with principal and arbitrary coefficient systems that are associated to unpunctured surfaces. We give a direct formula for the Laurent polynomial expansion of cluster variables in these cluster algebras in terms of certain paths on a triangulation of the surface. As an immediate consequence, we prove the positivity conjecture of Fomin and Zelevinsky for these cluster algebras.Furthermore, we obtain direct formulas for F-polynomials and g-vectors and show that F-polynomials have constant term equal to 1. As an application, we compute the Euler-Poincaré characteristic of quiver Grassmannians in Dynkin type A and affine Dynkin type .  相似文献

In this paper, the cellularity of twisted semigroup algebras over an integral domain is investigated by introducing the concept of cellular twisted semigroup algebras of type JH. Partition algebras, Brauer algebras and Temperley-Lieb algebras all are examples of cellular twisted semigroup algebras of type JH. Our main result shows that the twisted semigroup algebra of a regular semigroup is cellular of type JH with respect to an involution on the twisted semigroup algebra if and only if the twisted group algebras of certain maximal subgroups are cellular algebras. Here we do not assume that the involution of the twisted semigroup algebra induces an involution of the semigroup itself. Moreover, for a twisted semigroup algebra, we do not require that the twisting decomposes essentially into a constant part and an invertible part, or takes values in the group of units in the ground ring. Note that trivially twisted semigroup algebras are the usual semigroup algebras. So, our results extend not only a recent result of East, but also some results of Wilcox.  相似文献

It is shown that the derived category of dg modules over A (viewed as a dg algebra with trivial differential) is a triangulated hull of a certain orbit category of the derived category of graded A-modules. The image of the multiplication map is shown to be spanned by bipermanents. Let k   be any field of characteristic p>0p>0. The image of the induced multiplication on Ak(n,r)=AZ(n,r)ZkAk(n,r)=AZ(n,r)Zk turns out to coincide with the Doty coalgebra Dn,r,pDn,r,p of truncated symmetric powers. Combined with a new straightening formula for bipermanents, it is proved that such a multiplication induces an isomorphism Ak(n,r)Sk(n,r)Ak(n,r)≅Ak(n,r)Ak(n,r)Sk(n,r)Ak(n,r)Ak(n,r) as Sk(n,r)Sk(n,r)-bimodules if and only if r≤n(p−1)rn(p1), if and only if Dn,r,p=Ak(n,r)Dn,r,p=Ak(n,r). Suppose k is a field. Let A and B be two finite dimensional k-algebras such that there is a stable equivalence of Morita type between A and B. In this paper, we prove that (1) if A and B are representation-finite then their Auslander algebras are stably equivalent of Morita type; (2) The n-th Hochschild homology groups of A and B are isomorphic for all n≥1. A new proof is also provided for Hochschild cohomology groups of self-injective algebras under a stable equivalence of Morita type.  相似文献

In this paper we construct non-negative gradings on a basic Brauer tree algebra AΓ corresponding to an arbitrary Brauer tree Γ of type (m,e). We do this by transferring gradings via derived equivalence from a basic Brauer tree algebra AS, whose tree is a star with the exceptional vertex in the middle, to AΓ. The grading on AS comes from the tight grading given by the radical filtration. To transfer gradings via derived equivalence we use tilting complexes constructed by taking Green’s walk around Γ (cf. Schaps and Zakay-Illouz (2001) [17]). By computing endomorphism rings of these tilting complexes we get graded algebras.We also compute , the group of outer automorphisms that fix the isomorphism classes of simple AΓ-modules, where Γ is an arbitrary Brauer tree, and we prove that there is unique grading on AΓ up to graded Morita equivalence and rescaling.  相似文献

We introduce a notion of Gorenstein R-algebras over a commutative Gorenstein ring R. Then we provide a necessary and sufficient condition for a tilting complex over a Gorenstein R-algebra A to have a Gorenstein R-algebra B as the endomorphism algebra and a construction of such a tilting complex. Furthermore, we provide an example of a tilting complex over a Gorenstein R-algebra A whose endomorphism algebra is not a Gorenstein R-algebra.  相似文献

From the viewpoint of higher dimensional Auslander–Reiten theory, we introduce a new class of finite dimensional algebras of global dimension n, which we call n-representation infinite. They are a certain analog of representation infinite hereditary algebras, and we study three important classes of modules: n-preprojective, n-preinjective and n  -regular modules. We observe that their homological behaviour is quite interesting. For instance they provide first examples of algebras having infinite Ext1Ext1-orthogonal families of modules. Moreover we give general constructions of n-representation infinite algebras.  相似文献

We study self-extensions of modules over symmetric artin algebras. We show that non-projective modules with eventually vanishing self-extensions must lie in AR components of stable type ZAZA. Moreover, the degree of the highest non-vanishing self-extension of these modules is determined by their quasilength. This has implications for the Auslander–Reiten Conjecture and the Extension Conjecture.  相似文献

Motivated by constructions in the representation theory of finite dimensional algebras we generalize the notion of Artin-Schelter regular algebras of dimension n to algebras and categories to include Auslander algebras and a graded analogue for infinite representation type. A generalized Artin-Schelter regular algebra or a category of dimension n is shown to have common properties with the classical Artin-Schelter regular algebras. In particular, when they admit a duality, then they satisfy Serre duality formulas and the -category of nice sets of simple objects of maximal projective dimension n is a finite length Frobenius category.  相似文献
