Complete space-like submanifolds in locally symmetric semi-definite spaces

The purpose of this paper is to study complete space-like submanifolds with parallel mean curvature vector and flat normal bundle in a locally symmetric semi-defnite space satisfying some curvature conditions. A rigidity theorem for a space-like graph¶of higher codimension

We prove a rigidity theorem for a space-like graph with parallel mean curvature of arbitrary dimension and codimension in pseudo-Euclidean space via properties of its harmonic Gauss map. We also give an estimate of the squared norm of the second fundamental form in terms of the mean curvature and the image diameter under the Gauss map for space-like submanifolds with parallel mean curvature in pseudo-Euclidean space. Mean Curvature Flow with Bounded Gauss Image

We study the mean curvature flow of a complete space-like submanifold in pseudo-Euclidean space with bounded Gauss image and bounded curvature. We establish a relevant maximum principle for our setting. Then, we can obtain the ??confinable property?? of the Gauss images and curvature estimates under the mean curvature flow. Thus we prove a corresponding long time existence result.

Mean curvature flow of space-like Lagrangian submanifolds in almost para-K?hler manifolds

Given an almost para-K?hler manifold equipped with a metric and para-complex connection, we define a generalized second fundamental form and generalized mean curvature vector of space-like Lagrangian submanifolds. We then show that the deformation induced by this variant of the mean curvature vector field preserves the Lagrangian condition, if the connection satisfies also some Einstein condition. In case the almost para-K?hler structure is integrable, the flow coincides with the classical mean curvature flow in the pseudo-Riemannian context.     

On spacelike submanifolds with parallel mean curvature in an indefinite space form

In this work we use a Simon??s type inequality for a suitable tensor and apply it to obtain sharp estimates for the supremum of the scalar curvature for complete spacelike submanifold M ⁿ with parallel mean curvature vector in an indefinite space form ${N^{n+p}_p(c)}$ .

Constant Mean Curvature Surfaces in $${\mathbb {M}}^2(c)\times \mathbb {R}$$ and Finite Total Curvature

We consider surfaces with parallel mean curvature vector field and finite total curvature in product spaces of type \({\mathbb {M}}^n(c)\times {\mathbb {R}}\), where \({\mathbb {M}}^n(c)\) is a space form and characterize certain of these surfaces. When \(n=2\), our results are similar to those obtained in Bérard et al. (Ann Glob Anal Geom 16(3):273–290, 1998) for surfaces with constant mean curvature in space forms.
