飞秒光学频率梳波长覆盖范围向可见光波长扩展对于碘稳频激光的绝对频率测量以及光钟研究中钟激光的绝对频率测量都具有十分重要的意义. 本文在自行研制掺Er光纤飞秒光学频率梳的基础上, 采用放大-倍频-扩谱的方案, 实现了激光输出波长向可见光波长的扩展. 掺Er光纤飞秒光学频率梳输出的一部分光激光脉冲, 功率约为8 mW, 首先经掺Er光纤放大器将功率提高到531 mW, 此后利用MgO: PPLN晶体倍频, 倍频后激光的功率为170 mW, 倍频效率为32%, 脉冲宽度为85 fs. 倍频后的激光通过光子晶体光纤进行光谱展宽. 通过优化入射光偏振状态可以实现波长覆盖500-1000 nm, 输出功率为85 mW, 耦合效率为50%. 采用小型化碘稳频532 nm Nd: YAG激光器输出激光与光学频率梳光谱展宽后的激光进行拍频可以获得30 dB的拍频信号. 覆盖可见光波长的掺Er光纤飞秒光学频率梳为可见光范围内激光的绝对频率测量提供了技术手段.  相似文献

依据二能级速率方程和光传输方程,理论计算了Er3+光纤放大器中Er3+光纤的最佳长度Lc. 以全光纤飞秒激光器输出的孤子脉冲作为种子源,以理论值Lc作为实际采用的光纤长度,实验测量了Er3+光纤放大器在同向泵浦和反向泵浦下信号光的输出功率,得到同向泵浦的增益为20.0dB, 反向泵浦的增益为20.2 dB.同时测量了脉冲宽度随泵浦功率的变化,实验结果表明,随着泵浦功率的增大,输出光脉冲的宽度的压缩效应经历逐渐增强后逐渐减弱的过程.在同向泵浦方式下,可以得到更短的输出脉宽,其最短脉冲宽度为260 fs.  相似文献

提出在光纤放大器中,使用光纤布喇格光栅作为泵浦光反射镜,所需的双包层光纤可以缩短,同时至少保持了与没有光纤布喇格光栅作为反射镜时光纤放大器相同的性能.基于速率及传输方程,对使用和不使用光纤布喇格光栅的铒、镱共掺双包层光纤放大器的性能进行了数值模拟.结果表明,使用光纤布喇格光栅作为反射镜时光纤放大器可以获得与无光栅时相同的输出功率,但仅仅需要后者长度一半的光纤,无论是前向泵浦还是后向泵浦.对后向泵浦方式并使用光纤布喇格光栅作为反射镜,可获得最高的输出功率及光增益,同时使用了较短的光纤.  相似文献

The effect of increasing the numerical aperture and changing the immersion imaging medium of the objective in the forward second harmonic imaging of the grana and intergranal parts of chloroplasts in the leaves of shade moss Plagiomnium affine plant were demonstrated. Also the enhancement of the forward second harmonic generation images and simultaneously records the forward and backward second harmonic signals were demonstrated. The second harmonic signals in the forward and backward directions are generated by a tightly focused linearly polarized femtosecond pulses laser.

Conclusions

Forward second harmonic signals were successfully enhanced by capturing higher order of diffraction rays from the samples using high numerical aperture water immersion objective.  相似文献

We present localized optical field distribution properties in the vicinity of gold particles on a silicon substrate by backward and forward irradiation. It is technically difficult to fabricate nanostructures on the surface by a conventional forward laser incident to the substrate because gold nanoparticles easily aggregate to form double-layered particle arrays. We calculated enhanced optical field properties in order to pattern the substrate surface only with a template of the bottom-layered particle arrays in the case that the backward irradiation of a femtosecond laser is used in the system of aggregated double-layered gold nanoparticle arrays. With the backward irradiation, the optical field intensity in the substrate for the double-layered hexagonal arrays is found to be only 30% lower than the mono-layered system. Moreover, a near field cannot be generated with the forward irradiation. As a result, only the backward irradiation scheme is found to be effective for uniform surface nanopatterning at enhanced plasmonic near-field zones.  相似文献

Transport network paths are typically bidirectional and symmetrical. In multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) and generalized MPLS (GMPLS) mechanisms, independent labels are distributed for bidirectional paths. Thus, the requirement of the MPLS transport profile (MPLS-TP), which is a new transport technology, could not be satisfied efficiently. A novel label distribution mechanism for bidirectional paths in MPLS-TP networks is proposed. Labels distributed by the mechanism are symmetrical and can re?ect the pairing relationship of the forward and backward directions of the transport path.  相似文献

We present a scheme to realize two‐direction optical switch by a single‐mode optical cavity containing some four‐level atoms. The high switching efficiency can be obtained through low photon loss and large third‐order nonlinear susceptibility of this N‐type atomic system in cavity. Without the microwave source, it can be reduced to a Λ‐type atomic system where a coupling laser is used to realize single intracavity electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT). Namely, the probe field can be transmitted almost totally at resonance. Thus a two‐direction optical switch is operated and the state for forward (backward) direction is set as “open” (“closed”). When microwave source is introduced, dressed splitting of intracavity dark state happens. The probe field is reflected almost completely at resonance and the state of the optical switch at forward and backward directions (transmitted and reflected channels) is shifted as “closed” and “open”, respectively. Moreover, this scheme is much advantageous to realize splitting of intracavity dark state because weak microwave field () induces the coupling between intracavity dark state and one sublevel of ground state. While a strong pump laser () which couples the intracavity dark state with an excited level is applied to realize this splitting in ref. [Phys. Rev. A 85 013814 (2012)].  相似文献

超宽光谱的飞秒脉冲测量一直是超快激光领域的重要研究方向之一.常规的飞秒脉冲自相关方法是通过测量自相关倍频信号来获得,而倍频信号具有波长选择性,不同中心波长的飞秒脉冲测量需要更换不同的倍频晶体,十分不方便.因此,提出了一种改进型的瞬态光栅频率分辨光学开关(TG-FROG)方法用于测量飞秒脉冲.该方法结合四波混频和频率分辨光学开关方法,其基本过程是将待测脉冲分为三束,其中两束脉冲经过精密的延时控制并聚焦在光学介质上达到时空重合,利用三阶非线性效应产生稳定的瞬态光栅作为开关光;另一束脉冲作为探测光与产生的瞬态光栅进行相互作用产生一个信号光,使用光谱仪对该信号光的光谱与延迟时间进行测量,并通过反演迭代算法处理而获取待测飞秒脉冲的光谱与电场信息.该方法只需要待测光的功率密度达到三阶非线性效应就可以实现测量,因此可以应用于任意中心波长的飞秒脉冲测量.利用该方法对中心波长分别为800 nm, 400 nm的飞秒脉冲,以及超连续亚10 fs的周期量级超宽光谱飞秒脉冲进行了测量,并与常规的干涉自相关仪器测量结果进行了比较,所得测量结果基本一致.实验结果表明,建立的基于TG-FROG方法对不同中心波长,不同脉冲宽度的飞秒脉冲测量是十分有效的.  相似文献

Optical switches play an important role in all optical communication networks and multiprocessor computer systems. The 2×2 and 4×4 optical switches are the basic units of large-scale switch matrices. Using a conventional polarization control method, the optical switch system and structure is optimized, and a novel optical switch is proposed, which has the advantages of relatively low crosstalk and insertion loss, compact and simple construction, higher performance and cost effectiveness. First, a novel 2×2 optical switch is proposed using phase spatial light modulator (PSLM), polarizing beam splitter (PBS) and mirror. This configuration uses fewer optical components, is compact in structure, efficient in performance, and insensitive to polarization of the signal beam. Second, a new optical experimental module of 4×4 optical switch is presented by cascading a 2×2 optical switch. The routing method of polarization-independent bidirectional 4×4 optical switch is investigated. Finally, the operational characteristics of the polarization-independent bidirectional 2×2 and 4×2 optical switches are discussed in detail.  相似文献

In a distributed Raman fiber amplifier (DRFA), Raman amplification allows a lower signal launch powers to transverse the span above the noise floor while still increasing the optical signal-to-noise ratio (OSNR). It improves the noise figure and reduces the nonlinear penalty of fiber systems. In this paper, we demonstrate a new trend of OSNR at different pump configurations: forward, backward and bidirectional pumping for DRFAs as a function of fiber length. We also present the variation of OSNR with both input pump power and input signal power. It is found that forward pumping provides the highest OSNR, reaching its maximum value of 37 dB. However, backward pumping provides the smallest OSNR that has its maximum of 22 dB and the bidirectional pumping provides the moderate OSNR between the others having its peak of 26 dB.  相似文献

The feasibility of an optical switch of femtosecond range controlled by a femtosecond light pulse acting on a nonlinear one-dimensional photonic crystal (a layered one-dimensional periodic structure) is demonstrated by computer simulation. The crystal comprises linear and weakly defocusing layers. It is shown that switching occurs when the peak intensity of the initial pulse exceeds a certain threshold value due to the dependence of the transmission-reflection bands of the photonic crystal on the nonlinearity of the medium.  相似文献

In this study, the information flow time arrow is investigated for stochastic data defined by vector autoregressive models. The time series are analyzed forward and backward by different Granger causality detection methods. Besides the normal distribution, which is usually required for the validity of Granger causality analysis, several other distributions of predictive errors are considered. A clear effect of a change in the order of cause and effect on the time-reversed series of unidirectionally connected variables was detected with standard Granger causality test (GC), when the product of the connection strength and the ratio of the predictive errors of the driver and the recipient was below a certain level, otherwise bidirectional causal connection was detected. On the other hand, opposite causal link was detected unconditionally by the methods based on the time reversal testing, but they were not able to detect correct bidirectional connection. The usefulness of the backward analysis is manifested in cases where falsely detected unidirectional connections can be rejected by applying the result obtained after the time reversal, and in cases of uncorrelated causally independent variables, where the absence of a causal link detected by GC on the original series should be confirmed on the time-reversed series.  相似文献

We have investigated how the formation of ultracold molecules in a rubidium magneto-optical trap is affected by the application of positively-chirped femtosecond laser pulses. The application of femtosecond pulses resulted in a reduction, rather than an increase, in the rate of detection of 85Rb2 and 87Rb2 triplet ground-state molecules, and compared this to the effects of non-chirped pulses, continuous-wave light, and the formation rate when no additional light was applied. A dependence on the amount of chirp of the femtosecond laser pulses suggests that the reduction in the molecular signal is the result of a coherent effect, and provides a promising indication that coherent control could be used to engineer the production of ultracold molecules.  相似文献

对宽带飞秒脉冲双折射干涉滤波进行了理论和实验研究。首先给出了一种新型的双折射干涉滤波器的原理和设计,得到了输出滤波光谱强度分布的解析表达式。然后进行了15fs宽带脉冲的干涉滤波的实验研究,实验得到了一组性能良好的透射和反射输出的干涉滤波谱图,实验测量与理论计算基本一致。同时还分析了群速失配以及色散对宽带飞秒脉冲双折射干涉滤波的影响。结果表明这种滤波器对宽带飞秒脉冲有很好的干涉滤波作用,能同时前向透射和侧向反射干涉滤波输出,且无插入功率损耗,可以用来获得波长稳定的多波长可调谐超短脉冲光源。对于飞秒脉冲干涉滤波器的设计和应用具有重要的参考价值。  相似文献

本文将描述两种变像管皮秒分幅相机和一种飞秒扫描相机的设计特点、动态测试方法和实验结果。第一种变像管皮秒分幅相机采用了交叉点扫描多光栏分幅的方法,其变像管具有长加速电极和短阳极的静电弱聚焦系统与偏转灵敏度高、偏转像质好的偏转群体结构;其超快速控制电路只需一个光电开关斜坡电压脉冲发生器和一个特殊设计的脉冲成形网络即可送出具有合适时间关联的4对正负极性三角波和一对正负极性的单台阶液电压脉冲。实验表明,该相机在提供6幅分幅图像的情况下,每幅图像全曝光时间为80ps,除 3~4幅图像间的时间间隔为680ps外,其余均为160ps,动态空间分辨率达到5.51p/mm。第二种变像管皮秒分幅相机采用快门式分幅方法;其变像管采用行波偏转系统,内增强MCP做成带状线结构,并具有输入输出阻抗变换器,其三台阶波和快门脉冲序列均由光电开关电路和脉冲成形网络产生。该相机在提供三幅分幅图像的情况下,每幅图像全曝光时间为660ps,画幅之间的时间间隔均为4ns,动态空间分辨率为5.5lp/mm。飞秒扫描相机采用MCP内增强飞秒扫描变像管、具有负时间畸变的中继透镜和无触发晃动的光电开关扫描电路。实验证明,该相机在时间分辨率为500fs时,其动态范围为30;当时间分辨率为1.2ps时,其动态范围可达500;无扫描图像弯曲现象,触发晃动为±2ps.  相似文献

A direct-adaptation based bidirectional turbo equalizer for underwater acoustic communications is proposed.Abandoning the channel estimation process,the direct-adaptation based turbo equalizer embedded with digital phase-locked loop is adopted to track time-varying channel.The fast self-optimized algorithm is used to adjust the step size,thus a good tradeoff between the convergence speed and performance has been made.Furthermore,by minimizing the mean squared error,an optimal weighting factor is derived to exploit bidirectional diversity gain.The forward turbo equalizer is combined with the backward turbo equalizer to eliminate error propagation effect.Simulated and experimental results demonstrate that the bidirectional turbo equalizer outperforms the single directional one.It can be seen from the experimental results that,compared with the channel estimation based algorithm,the direct-adaptation based algorithm is less sensitive to the time-varying channel and has a lower bit error rate.  相似文献
