Long chain aliphatic alcohols have been used as model compounds to develop a preparative method for a water-soluble material, which could be a carrier for triacontanol, a highly hydrophobic plant growth regulator. New polyesters from long chain aliphatic (C = 12, 18 and 22) mono-1-alkyl citrates and poly(ethylene glycol) were synthesized and characterized by NMR spectroscopy. The polyester containing the triacontyl moiety was obtained from mono-1-triacontyl citrate, which was synthesized from the corresponding alcohol extracted from the Agave fourcroydes. The molecular weight of the polyesters depends on experimental conditions during synthesis such as reaction time, atmosphere, catalyst concentration and temperature. The reaction is second order in the early stage of the polyester synthesis. The reaction rate constant is independent of the length of the aliphatic chain, but it decreases with increasing of the poly(ethylene glycol) employed. Turbidity measurements have been used to study the polyester solubility. Solubility characteristics were found to depend on the of poly(ethylene glycol), the aliphatic-chain length and the value of for the polyester. These preparations could potentially be used to release triacontanol.  相似文献

The disordered structures and low temperature dielectric relaxation properties of Bi1.667Mg0.70Nb1.52O7 (BMN) and Bi1.67Ni0.75Nb1.50O7 (BNN) misplaced-displacive cubic pyrochlores found in the Bi2O3-MIIO-Nb2O5 (M=Mg, Ni) systems are reported. As for other recently reported Bi-pyrochlores, the metal ion vacancies are found to be confined to the pyrochlore A site. The B2O6 octahedral sub-structure is found to be fully occupied and well-ordered. Considerable displacive disorder, however, is found associated with the O′A2 tetrahedral sub-structure in both cases. The A-site ions were displaced from Wyckoff position 16d (, , ) to 96 h (, , ) while the O′ oxygen was shifted from position 8b (, , ) to Wyckoff position 32e (, , ). The refined displacement magnitudes off the 16d and 8b sites for the A and O′ sites were 0.408 Å/0.423 Å and 0.350 Å/0.369 Å for BMN/BNN, respectively.  相似文献

The rare-earth dicyanamides Ln[N(CN)2]3 (Ln=La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu) were obtained via ion exchange in aqueous medium and subsequent drying: The crystal structures were solved and refined based on X-ray powder diffraction data and they were found to be isotypic: Ln[N(CN)2]3; Cmcm (no. 63), Z=4, Ln=La: , , ; Ce: , , ; Pr: , , ; Nd: , , ; Sm: , , ; Eu: , , ). The compounds represent the first dicyanamides with trivalent cations. The Ln3+ ions are coordinated by three bridging N atoms and six terminal N atoms of the dicyanamide ions forming a three capped trigonal prism. The structure type is related to that of PuBr3. The novel compounds Ln[N(CN)2]3 have been characterized by IR and Raman spectroscopy (Ln=La) and the thermal behavior has been monitored by differential scanning calorimetry (Ln=Ce, Nd, Eu).  相似文献

An unprecedented hybrid solid obtained by self-assembly of octamolybdate clusters into a three-dimensional alkali metal modified neodymium-organic heterometallic framework is described. The reactions of UO3 and TeO3 with KCl, RbCl, or CsCl at 800 °C for 5 d yield single crystals of A2[(UO2)3(TeO3)2O2] (A=K (1), Rb (2), and Cs (3)). These compounds are isostructural with one another, and their structures consist of two-dimensional sheets arranged in a stair-like topology separated by alkali metal cations. These sheets are comprised of zigzagging uranium(VI) oxide chains bridged by corner-sharing trigonal pyramidal TeO32− anions. The chains are composed of dimeric, edge-sharing, pentagonal bipyramidal UO7 moieties joined by edge-sharing tetragonal bipyramidal UO6 units. The lone-pair of electrons from the TeO3 groups are oriented in opposite directions with respect to one another on each side of the sheets rendering each individual sheet non-polar. The alkali metal cations form contacts with nearby tellurite oxygen atoms as well as with oxygen atoms from the uranyl moieties. The Monte Carlo (MC) method based on the rotational-isomeric-state (RIS) model is adopted in studying the elastic behavior of poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) chains in this paper. The mean-square end-to-end distance 〈R2〉, the mean-square radius of gyration 〈S2〉, and the ratio of 〈R2〉/〈S2〉 all increase with elongation ratio λ. The interior conformations are also investigated through calculating the a priori probability of rotational state in the process of tensile elongation. The radius of gyration tensor S is introduced here in order to measure the shape of PET chains, and increases with elongation ratio λ, however, some different behaviors are obtained for . Here , and are the eigenvalues of the radius of gyration tensor . The average energy per repeat unit 〈U〉 and the average free energy per repeat unit 〈A〉 are also calculated, and we find that the average energy decreases with elongation ratio λ, however, the average free energy per repeat unit increases with elongation ratio λ. Elastic force f, energy contribution to force fU, and entropy contribution to force fS are also investigated. Both elastic force f and entropy contribution to force fS increases with λ, however, energy contribution to force fU and the ratio fU/f decreases with λ. The ratio of fU/f is less than zero and almost independent of chain length. The results of these microscopic calculations may explain some macroscopic phenomena of rubber elasticity.  相似文献

The excess molar volume of (cyclohexanone + benzene, or toluene, or ethylbenzene, or styrene) were obtained from the densities measured by means of a vibrating-tube densimeter over the whole composition range at temperatures (293.15, 303.15, 313.15, 323.15, 333.15, 343.15, 353.15) K and atmospheric pressure. The excess molar volume provide the temperature dependence of in the temperature range of (293 to 353) K. The results were correlated using the fourth-order Redlich-Kister equation, with the maximum likelihood principle being applied for the determination of the adjustable parameters. Three sample preparation methods (dilution, microwave digestion and ethanol addition) were evaluated for the determination of Se in human plasma using magnetic sector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). A number of instrumental parameters were also considered, namely the choice of internal standard (Sc, Rh, In) and pre-defined spectral resolution (mm ∼300 (low resolution, LR) and ∼7500 (high resolution, HR)). The isotopes and were selected for analysis avoiding the major and unresolvable Ar dimer interferences associated with other Se isotopes.Ethanol addition was found to be the most suitable and reliable sample preparation method. The optimum ethanol concentration for a 1+9 dilution of the plasma sample was 0.5% (v/v). Indium or Sc were selected over Rh as internal standards as Seronorm™ Level 1 target values were achieved at lower concentrations of ethanol modifier. Representative ICP-MS detection limits for this method using (HR) and (HR), were 0.1 and 0.2 μg l−1.Accurate analysis of Se in Seronorm™ Level 1 (MI0181) was found using either or and HR (86±5 and 83±5 μg l−1 respectively, n=5, In internal standard, target value=83±6 μg l−1). Although offering improved precision (e.g. LR: 0-3% versus HR: 1-6%), accurate results were only obtained with LR for the Seronorm™ Level 1 sample when using (86±1 μg l−1). The major interference precluded accurate Se analysis using and LR for all samples considered. Reliable Se concentrations were only found for a “real” pooled sample when using (HR), in part a result of non-negligible and unresolved interference when using LR. Consistently elevated Se concentrations were found under all conditions when Seronorm™ Level 2 (NO0371) was analysed. These results were confirmed by independent GF-AAS analysis.Magnetic sector ICP-MS with (HR), in combination with the ethanol addition sample preparation method, was used for the analysis of Se in human plasma samples as part of a small pilot study. Average measured selenium concentrations were 102±18 μg l−1 (n=18).  相似文献

RbVSe2 has been synthesized at 773 K through the reaction of V and Se with a Rb2Se3 reactive flux. The compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group D2h24-Fddd with 16 formula units in a cell of dimensions , , and at . The structure possesses infinite one-dimensional chains of edge-sharing VSe4 tetrahedra separated from the Rb+ ions. These chains distort slightly to chains. The V-V distance within these chains is 2.8362(4) Å. First-principles total energy calculations indicate that a non-magnetic configuration for the V3+ cations is the most stable.  相似文献

The mixed dissociation constants of five drug acids—ambroxol, antazoline, naphazoline, oxymetazoline and ranitidine—at various ionic strengths I of range 0.01 and 1.0 and at temperatures of 25 and 37 °C were determined using SQUAD(84) regression analysis of the pH-spectrophotometric titration data. A proposed strategy of efficient experimentation in a protonation constants determination, followed by a computational strategy for the chemical model with a protonation constants determination, is presented on the protonation equilibria of ambroxol. The thermodynamic dissociation constant pKaT was estimated by non-linear regression of {pKa, I} data at 25 and 37 °C: for ambroxol and 8.25 (4), log  and 11.83 (8), for antazoline and 7.83 (6), and 9.55 (2), for naphazoline and 10.63 (1), for oxymethazoline and 10.77 (7), pKa,2T=12.03(3) and 11.82 (4) and for ranitidine and 1.77 (1). Goodness-of-fit tests for various regression diagnostics enabled the reliability of the parameter estimates to be found.  相似文献

Six novel ionic phosphine ligands with a cobaltocenium backbone, 1,1′-bis(dicyclohexylphosphino) cobaltocenium hexafluorophosphate () (1a), 1,1′-bis(di-iso-propylphosphino) cobaltocenium hexafluorophosphate () (2a), 1,1′-bis(di-tert-butylphosphino) cobaltocenium hexafluorophosphate () (3a), and the monophosphine ligand (Cc+ = cobaltocenium; R = Cy, 1b; R = i-Pr, 2b; R = t-Bu, 3b) were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction techniques. This paper focuses on the development of methodology based on MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry for evaluation of molecular weight profile of the water-insoluble portion of an extracellular polysaccharide, i.e. Curdlan. As previously demonstrated, MALDI analysis of water-insoluble Curdlan fraction gave number-average and weight-average molecular weights of 8000 and 8700 Da, respectively [T.W.D. Chan, K.Y. Tang, Rapid Commun. Mass Spectrom. 17 (2003) 887]. To validate the MALDI determined molecular weight information, several additional analytical schemes were used to analysis the water-insoluble Curdlan fraction. In all cases, the water-insoluble Curdlan sample was fractionated by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) using Sephadex G-75 column. The of low-mass and narrow distributed polysaccharide fractions were obtained by MALDI-MS. Good linearity was found in the calibration plot constructed from the measured -values and the corresponding elution time/volume. The relative quantity of various fractionated samples was then measured using three different approaches. These include (a) direct refractometric analysis; (b) UV-vis absorption analysis of the Aniline Blue stained sample; and (c) GC-MS analysis of the hydrolyzed and TMS-derivatized sample. Using results obtained from theses quantification methods and the correlation function between the GPC retention time and , the MW and MWD of water-insoluble Curdlan were obtained. Our results demonstrated that the previous use of MALDI methods for measuring and polydispersity (PD) of water-insoluble Curdlan (with and without GPC fractionation) were unreliable. However, by standardizing the narrow distributed polysaccharides using MALDI-MS method, reliable molecular weight information for dispersed polysaccharides could be obtained. The and PD of the water-insoluble Curdlan were found to be 22,000, 31,500 Da and 1.40, respectively.  相似文献

The two compounds RbInS2 and RbInSe2 have been synthesized at 773 K by means of the reactive flux method. These isostructural compounds crystallize in space group C2/c of the monoclinic system with 16 formula units in a cell at 153 K of dimensions , , , and β=100.244(1)° for RbInS2, and , , , and β=100.16(2)° for RbInSe2. The In atoms are four-coordinated. The structure consists of two-dimensional (Q=S, Se) layers perpendicular to [001] separated from the Rb+ cations. Adamantane-like In4Q10 units are connected by common corners to form the layers. Band structure calculations indicate that these compounds are direct band-gap semiconductors with the smallest band gap at the Γ point. The calculated band gaps are 2.8 eV for RbInS2 and 2.0 eV for RbInSe2, values that are consistent with the colors of the compounds.  相似文献

Capillary electrophoresis dynamic reaction cell™ inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (CE-DRC-ICP-MS) for the determination of sulfur-containing amino acids is described. The sulfur-containing amino acids studied include l-cysteine, l-cystine, dl-homocystine and l-methionine. The species studied were well separated using a 70 cm length×75 μm i.d. fused silica capillary while the applied voltage was set at +22 kV and a 10 mmol l−1 disodium tetraborate buffer (pH 9.8) containing 0.1 mmol l−1 EDTA and 0.5 mmol l−1 Triton X-100 was used as the electrophoretic buffer. The sulfur-selective electropherogram was determined at m/z 48 as by using its reaction with O2 in the reaction cell. The method avoided the effect of polyatomic isobaric interferences at m/z 32 caused by and on by detecting as the oxide ion at m/z 48, which is less interfered. The detection limit of various species studied was in the range of 0.047-0.058 μg S ml−1, which corresponded to the absolute detection limit of 1.3-1.6 pg S based on the injection volume of 27 nl. We determined the concentrations of selected sulfur-containing amino acids in urine and nutritive complement samples. The recovery was in the range of 92-128% for various species.  相似文献
