利用Nd:YVO4激光晶体的自受激拉曼效应,结合Cr:YAG被动锁模技术和倍频技术,实现了结构紧凑的1176 nm和588 nm黄光锁模激光输出。激光器为LD端面泵浦,三镜折叠腔结构,并且采用了透过率为10%的输出镜。Nd:YVO4晶体长度为10 mm,Nd3+离子掺杂质量分数为0.2%,Cr:YAG晶体的初始透过率为67%。10 W激光泵浦时,1176 nm激光平均输出功率为123 mW,调Q包络宽度为6 ns,调Q包络内的锁模脉冲重复频率高达1 GHz。588.2 nm 黄光的平均输出功率为8 mW。  相似文献

脉冲蓝光激光器在水下探测、水下通信和遥感方面有着重要的应用前景。根据高斯光束传输的ABCD矩阵,设计了对热效应不灵敏的Z型谐振腔。利用808 nm激光二极管(LD)端面抽运Nd:YVO4晶棒,在室温下实现了4F3/2→4I9/2准三能级激光谱线跃迁。通过声光调Q和LBO腔内倍频,获得了稳定的高重复频率、高峰值功率457 nm蓝光激光输出。当抽运功率为30 W时,在重复频率为10 kHz下,获得最大单脉冲能量为56 μJ ,脉冲宽度为217 ns,峰值功率达258 W; 在重复频率为20 kHz下,获得最大平均功率为760 mW,脉冲宽度为261 ns,峰值功率为146 W。在最大平均输出功率下测量了脉冲457 nm蓝光激光器的功率稳定性,20 min之内其最大不稳定度小于2%。  相似文献

报道了一种利用激光二极管(LD)端面泵浦Nd:YVO4晶体,声光调Q,LBO临界相位匹配腔内倍频的高效率、小体积、风冷绿光激光器。分析了不同偏振光泵浦的情况下,激光晶体对泵浦光的吸收特性。由分析得出,采用部分偏振光泵浦,可以提高激光晶体对泵浦光吸收均匀性,改善基波畸变,获得高转换效率激光输出。实验中,在泵浦光功率为33 W、声光调Q重复频率为20 kHz时,得到脉宽为23.96 ns、平均功率为15 W的1064 nm基频光输出。经倍频后,得到平均功率为11.2 W的绿光输出,倍频效率为74.6%,总体光-光转换效率为34%。在输出功率为10 W时,测得1 h内输出功率不稳定度为0.512 2%,水平方向和竖直方向的光束质量因子M2分别为1.2和1.1。  相似文献

Nd:YVO4复合腔激光器双波长激光输出及腔内和频研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
 采用两个重叠的共线支腔构成的三镜复合腔,实现LD泵浦的Nd:YVO4激光器的1 064 nm和1 342 nm双波长激光运转。根据双波长振荡阈值相等条件,数值计算了1 064 nm支腔和1 342 nm支腔的腔长、支腔的输出耦合镜透过率之间的关系。合理选择两个支腔的参数,当泵浦功率13 W时,获得1 064 nm激光功率1.59 W,1 342 nm激光功率1.17 W的双波长激光输出。在满足腔内1 064 nm 和1 342 nm双波长光子数密度相等的条件下,计算了腔内和频的复合腔Nd:YVO4激光器的腔参数。采用Ⅱ类临界相位匹配KTP晶体作为和频器件,当808 nm泵浦光功率为12 W时,获得340 mW的和频593 nm激光输出。  相似文献

本工作对声光调Q的Nd:YVO4晶体级联自拉曼腔内二阶斯托克斯光倍频实现窄脉宽红光激光进行了研究.从改善自拉曼晶体热效应出发,综合考虑基频激光性能和提高拉曼变频性能,设计了三段式键合YVO4/Nd:YVO4/YVO4晶体来提升拉曼转换效率和输出功率.选用针对二阶斯托克斯波长倍频的室温临界相位匹配切割的LBO晶体作为非线性光学晶体.其匹配角度(θ=86.0°,φ=0°)非常接近非临界相位匹配,具有较小的走离角,有利于实现高效的倍频转换效率.通过抽运光束腰位置、声光调Q重复频率等参数优化,在14.2 W抽运功率和60 kHz重复频率下,获得最高平均输出功率1.63 W、转换效率11.5%的657 nm红光激光输出.657 nm红光的脉冲宽度为11.5 ns,窄于普通掺钕激光晶体1.3 μm波段激光倍频实现的红光激光,表明通过级联拉曼倍频技术可发挥拉曼过程脉宽压缩特性实现较窄脉宽红光激光输出.  相似文献

A laser diode directly end-pumped, passively Q-switched Nd:YVO4/Cr:YAG laser is presented in this paper. With 600 mW incident pump laser, Q-switched 1064 nm laser with an average power of 138 mW, pulse width of 19.8 ns, repetition rate of 170.1 kHz and peak power of 40.96 W is obtained. When a KTP crystal was inserted into the cavity, Q-switched 532 nm laser with an average power of 56 mW, pulse width of 28.4 ns, repetition rate of 118.2 kHz and peak power of 16.7 W is obtained at last.  相似文献

By using a piece of GaAs wafer as the saturable absorber, the performance of the passively Q-switched composite Nd:YVO4 laser with different output couplers has been demonstrated for the first time as far as we know. The largest continuous wave output power of 1.52 W is obtained at the incident pump power of 5.31 W, giving an optical conversion efficiency of 28.7% and a slope efficiency of 30.2%. The shortest pulse width of 11 ns, the largest single-pulse energy of 2.49 μJ and the highest peak power of 190 W are also obtained.  相似文献

A simple folded-cavity used for intracavity frequency-doubled Nd:YVO4 laser was analyzed by transmission matrix and numerical calculation. We have selected a set of proper cavity parameters which can be used readily by operating at high power levels with low threshold, high efficiency, and wide dynamic operating range. 5.6-W TEM00 green laser has been obtained at a 22-W pumping power and with an optical–optical conversion efficiency of 25.5%.  相似文献

A new experimental result obtained for the first time about LD pumped Nd: YAG microchip lasers in China is presented. The output power reached 62.5mW, when the input power was 340mW. Intensity modulation induced by the asymmetric external cavity in single-mode microchip Nd:YAG lasers is presented. Two kinds of experimental results are discussed based on multiple feedback effects. In one case, the intensity modulation curve is a normal sine wave, whose fringe frequency is four times higher than that of a conventional optical feedback system, caused by multiple feedback effects. In the other case, the intensity modulation curve is the overlapping of the above quadruple-frequency signal and conventional optical feedback signal, which is determined by the additional phase difference induced by the asymmetric external cavity. The theoretical analyses are in good agreement with the experimental results. The quadruple-frequency modulation of the laser output intensity can greatly increase the resolution of displacement measurement of an optical feedback system.  相似文献

The realization of high repetition rate passively Q-switched monolithic microlaser is a challenge since a decade. To achieve this goal, we report here on the first passively Q-switched diode-pumped microchip laser based on the association of a Nd:GdVO4 crystal and a Cr4+:YAG saturable absorber. The monolithic design consists of 1 mm long 1% doped Nd:GdVO4 optically contacted on a 0.4 mm long Cr4+:YAG leading to a plano-plano cavity. A repetition rate as high as 85 kHz is achieved. The average output power is approximately 400 mW for 2.2 W of absorbed pump power and the pulse length is 1.1 ns.  相似文献

用数值求解速率方程的方法对被动调Q微晶片激光器进行了优化设计,并在实验中验证了这一优化效果。首先对速率方程进行数值求解,从数值求解的结果中得出了几个关键性参数,例如可饱和吸收体的初始透过率、输出镜反射率、激光器腔长、激光器腔内损耗、抽运激光光斑大小等,给出了关键性的参数对被动调QNd∶YAG/Cr∶YAG激光器的影响;然后基于数值求解的结果对微晶片激光器进行了优化设计,例如缩短激光腔长度,减小腔内损耗,选择合适的输出镜反射率、初始透过率和抽运激光光斑大小等;最后完成了两种不同参数的微晶片被动调QNd∶YAG/Cr∶YAG微晶片激光器的制作。  相似文献

We report on fundamental and intracavity frequency-doubled emission in a miniature Nd:YVO4 (3×3×1 mm) laser. A maximum slope efficiency of ηs=58.6%, with optical efficiency of η0=53.0% at 780 mW pump power was realized in a TEM00 output beam. To obtain the optimum pump-beam focusing conditions we applied a new formalism in which the pump-beam propagation in the active medium was described by its M2 factor. A good agreement between theoretical predictions and experimental results was observed. In second-harmonic regime, obtained by a KTP crystal, 230 mW green power that corresponds to 54% nonlinear conversion efficiency was reached.  相似文献
