In this paper we prove that iff ∈ C([-π,π]2) and the function f is bounded partial p-variation for some p ∈ [1, ∞), then the double trigonometric Fourier series of a function f is uniformly (C;-α,-β) summable (α β< 1/p,α,β> 0) in the sense of Pringsheim. If α β≥ 1/p, then there exists a continuous function f0 of bounded partial double trigonometric Fourier series of fo diverge over cubes.  相似文献

In this paper we prove that an elementary Abelian p-group of rank 4p−2 is not a CI(2)-group, i.e. there exists a 2-closed transitive permutation group containing two non-conjugate regular elementary Abelian p-subgroups of rank 4p−2, see Hirasaka and Muzychuk (J. Comb. Theory Ser. A 94(2), 339–362, 2001). It was shown in Hirasaka and Muzychuk (loc cit) and Muzychuk (Discrete Math. 264(1–3), 167–185, 2003) that this is related to the problem of determining whether an elementary Abelian p-group of rank n is a CI-group. As a strengthening of this result we prove that an elementary Abelian p-group E of rank greater or equal to 4p−2 is not a CI-group, i.e. there exist two isomorphic Cayley digraphs over E whose corresponding connection sets are not conjugate in Aut E. Lower estimates for the maximal weight multiplicities in irreducible representations of the algebraic groups of type C n in characteristic p ≤ 7 are found. If n ≥ 8 and p ≠ 2 , then for an irreducible representation either such a multiplicity is at least n− 4 − [n]4,where [n]4 is the residue of n modulo 4, or all the weight multiplicities are equal to 1.For p = 2, the situation is more complicated, and for every n and l there exists a class of representations with the maximal weight multiplicity equal to 2 l . For symplectic groups in characteristic p > 7 and spinor groups similar results were obtained earlier. Bibliography: 15 titles.  相似文献

We study equidistant codes of length 4k + 1 having (constant) weight 2k, and (constant) distance 2k between codewords. The maximum number of codewords is 4k; this can be attained if and only ifk = (u 2 +u)/2 (for some integeru) and there exists a ((2u 2 + 2u + 1,u 2, (u 2u)/2) — SBIBD. In this paper, we introduce a new concept -- overlarge sets of generalized Kirkman systems (OLGKS), research the relation between it and OLKTS, and obtain some new results for OLKTS. The main conclusion is: If there exist both an OLKF(6^k) and a 3-OLGKS(6^k-1,4) for all k ∈{6,7,...,40}/{8,17,21,22,25,26}, then there exists an OLKTS(v) for any v ≡ 3 (mod 6), v ≠ 21. As well, we obtain the following result: There exists an OLKTS(6u + 3) for u = 2^2n-1 - 1, 7^n, 31^n, 127^n, 4^r25^s, where n ≥ 1,r+s≥ 1.  相似文献

A graph is one-regular if its automorphism group acts regularly on the set of its arcs.Let n be a square-free integer.In this paper,we show that a cubic one-regular graph of order 2n exists if and only if n=3~tp1p2…p_s≥13,where t≤1,s≥1 and p_i's are distinct primes such that 3|(P_i—1). For such an integer n,there are 2~(s-1) non-isomorphic cubic one-regular graphs of order 2n,which are all Cayley graphs on the dihedral group of order 2n.As a result,no cubic one-regular graphs of order 4 times an odd square-free integer exist.  相似文献

We present a new technique for constructing binary error correcting codes and give some examples of codes that can be constructed via this method. Among the examples is an infinite family of self-complementary codes with parameters (2u 2u, 8u 2, u 2u) that can be constructed whenever there exists a u × u Hadamard Matrix. These codes meet the Grey–Rankin bound and imply the existence of quasi-symmetric designs on 2u 2u points.  相似文献

We prove that a 2-group has exactly five rational irreducible characters if and only if it is dihedral, semidihedral or generalized quaternion. For an arbitrary prime p, we say that an irreducible character χ of a p-group G is “almost rational” if ℚ(χ) is contained in the cyclotomic field ℚ p , and we write ar(G) to denote the number of almost-rational irreducible characters of G. For noncyclic p-groups, the two smallest possible values for ar(G) are p 2 and p 2 + p − 1, and we study p-groups G for which ar(G) is one of these two numbers. If ar(G) = p 2 + p − 1, we say that G is “exceptional”. We show that for exceptional groups, |G: G′| = p 2, and so the assertion about 2-groups with which we began follows from this. We show also that for each prime p, there are exceptional p-groups of arbitrarily large order, and for p ≥ 5, there is a pro-p-group with the property that all of its finite homomorphic images of order at least p 3 are exceptional.  相似文献

We consider the problem −Δu=|u| p−1u+λu in Ω with on δΩ, where Ω is a bounded domain inR N ,p=(N+2)/(N−2) is the critical Sobolev exponent,n the outward pointing normal and λ a constant. Our main result is that if Ω is a ball inR N , then for every λ∈R the problem admits infinitely many solutions. Next we prove that for every bounded domain Ω inR 3, symmetric with respect to a plane, there exists a constant μ>0 such that for every λ<μ this problem has at least one non-trivial solution. The Agmon-Miranda maximum principle for the polyharmonic equations of all orders is shown to hold in Lipschitz domains in ℝ3. In ℝn,n≥4, the Agmon-Miranda maximum principle andL p-Dirichlet estimates for certainp>2 are shown to fail in Lipschitz domains for these equations. For positive integers p = k + 2, we construct a logarithmic extension of the conformal field theory of integrable representations by taking the kernel of two fermionic screening operators in a butterfly resolution of a three-boson realization of . The currents W(z) and W+(z) of a W-algebra acting in the kernel are determined by a highest-weight state of dimension 4p − 2 and charge 2p − 1 and by a (θ=1)-twisted highest-weight state of the same dimension 4p − 2 and opposite charge −2p+1. We construct 2p W-algebra representations, evaluate their characters, and show that together with the p−1 integrable representation characters, they generate a modular group representation whose structure is described as a deformation of the (9p−3)-dimensional representation R p+1⊕ℂ2R p+1ʕR p−1⊕ℂ2 R p−1⊕ℂ3 R p−1, where R p−1 is the SL(2, ℤ)-representation on integrable-representation characters and R p+1 is a (p+1)-dimensional SL(2, ℤ)-representation known from the logarithmic (p, 1) model. The dimension 9p − 3 is conjecturally the dimension of the space of torus amplitudes, and the ℂn with n = 2 and 3 suggest the Jordan cell sizes in indecomposable W-algebra modules. This work examines the existence of (4q 2,2q 2q,q 2q) difference sets, for q=p f , where p is a prime and f is a positive integer. Suppose that G is a group of order 4q 2 which has a normal subgroup K of order q such that G/K C q ×C 2×C 2, where C q ,C 2 are the cyclic groups of order q and 2 respectively. In this paper, using capacity theory and extension theorem of Lipschitz functions we first discuss the uniqueness of weak solution of nonhomogeneous quasilinear elliptic equationsin space W(θ,p)(Ω), which is bigger than W1,p(Ω). Next, using revise reverse Holder inequality we prove that if ωc is uniformly p-think, then there exists a neighborhood U of p, such that for all t ∈U, the weak solutions of equation corresponding t are bounded uniformly.
