We study the ρ0 and φ decays into π+πγ, π0π0γ and φ into π0ηγ using a chiral unitary approach to deal with the final state interaction of the MM system. The final state interaction modifies only moderately the large momenta tail of the photon spectrum of the ρ0→π+πγ decay. In the case of φ decay the contribution to π+πγ and π0π0γ decay proceeds via kaonic loops and gives a distribution of ππ invariant masses in which the f0(980) resonance shows up with a very distinct peak. The spectrum found for φ→π0π0γ decay agrees with the recent experimental results obtained at Novosibirsk. The branching ratio for φ→π0ηγ, dominated by the a0(980), is also in agreement with recent Novosibirsk results.  相似文献

K-band electron spin resonance (ESR) at 4.3 K has revealed the dipole-dipole (DD) interaction effects between [1 1 1]Pb centers (*Si ≡ Si3 defects with unpaired sp3 hybrid [1 1 1]) at the 2 dimensional (1 1 1)Si/SiO2 interface. This has been enabled by the perfectly reversible H2 passivation of Pb, which affects the defect's spin state. Sequential hydrogenation at 253–353°C and degassing treatments in high vacuum at 743–835°C allowed to vary the Pb density in the range 5 × 1010 < [Pb] (1.14 ± 0.06) × 1013 cm-2. With increasing [Pb] fine structure doublets are clearly resolved. It is found that (1 1 1)Si/SiO2 interfaces, dry thermally grown at ≈920°C, naturally comprise a *Si ≡ Si3 defect density — passivated or not — of 1.14 × 1013 cm-2.  相似文献

The βγ circular polarization correlation of the 3 621 keV)3(γ 1692)2+ cascade in 124Sb, the 4+ 662)4+ (γ 796)2+ (γ 605)0+ in 13Z4Cs and the 6+529)6+ (γ 937)4+ (γ 885)2+ (γ 658)0+ in 110mAg have been studied by using a Compton effect polarimeter. The measured asymmetry parameters are 0.172±0.004, −0.0702 ±0.0024 and 0.0549±0.0013 respectively.  相似文献

The synthetic analogue of the microporous titanosilicate mineral sitinakite has been hydrothermally synthesized and used as a host in the preparation of a new photoluminescent material. The inclusion of Eu3+ in the pores of the sitinakite doubles the unit cell volume and changes the symmetry of the initial sodium phase. The Eu3+-doped material displays a stable room temperature emission ascribed to the Eu3+ intra-4f6 5D07F0−4 transitions, with a maximum external quantum yield of 6%. The observation of two components for the non-degenerated 5D07F0 transition, the local field splitting of the 5D07F1−2 transitions, and the 5D0 emission decay curves point out the presence of two optically active Eu3+ sites. Possible structural distribution of the detected Eu3+ cations is discussed.  相似文献

The Θ+(1540), recently observed at LEPS, DIANA and CLAS, is hypothesized to be an isotensor resonance. This implies the existence of a multiplet where the Θ++, Θ+ and Θ0 have isospin-violating strong decays, and the Θ+++ and Θ have weak decays and so are long-lived. Production mechanisms for the weakly-decaying states are discussed. The JP assignment of the Θ is most likely 1/2 or 3/2.  相似文献

Data were taken at the energy 2E = 990 MeV to search for multibody events, with the same large solid angle detector which has been used for the measurement of the , ω andφ production by e+e annilations. Assuming a π+ππ0π0 production by the quasi two-body process e+e → → ωπ0 we give the correspondi ng cross section σ(e+e → π+ππ0π0) = (1.1 ± 0.5) 10−32 cm2. Since no events with 3 and 4 charged pions have been observed σ(e+e → π+ππ0π) 1.5 × 10−33 cm2.  相似文献

An 879.9(2) keV γ-ray transition has been identified following the β decay of 58V and assigned as the 2+1→0+1 transition in 58Cr34. A peak in the energies of the first excited 2+ states for the even–even chromium isotopes is now evident at 56Cr32, providing empirical evidence for a significant subshell gap at N=32. The appearance of this neutron subshell closure for neutron-rich nuclides may be attributed to the diminished π1f7/2–ν1f5/2 monopole proton–neutron interaction as protons are removed from the 1f7/2 single-particle orbital.  相似文献

The static quadrupole moments of the first excited Jπ = 2+ states in 20Ne and 22Ne and the reduced electric quadrupole transition probabilities of these states to the ground states were measured via projectile Coulomb excitation. The quadrupole moments were deduced from the shapes of γ-ray angular distributions. The results are: Q(20Ne, 2+) = −0.20±0.05 b and Q(22Ne, 2+) = −0.11±0.05 b. The transition strengths were deduced from yield measurements and by comparison with the yields of target γ-rays. The results are: B(E2; 0+ → 2+, 20Ne) = 0.037±0.003 e2 · b2 and B(E2; 0+ → 2+, 22Ne) = 0.025±0.002 e2· b2. The results for the transition strengths are consistent with the results of accurate timing methods and resolve discrepancies between previous experiments. The results for the quadrupole moments are consistent with earlier measurements, although the mean values we obtain are slightly lower. The experimental measurements are compared with theoretical predictions and a detailed discussion is given of corrections to this type of reorientation experiment.  相似文献

Six rotational bands in the odd-odd nucleus 174Ta have been populated with the 160Gd(19F,5n) reaction. High-spin states were identified using the NORDBALL array. Both signatures of the doubly decoupled π1/2 [541] ν1/2 [521] band and semi-decoupled π1/2 [541] ν7/2 [633] band are observed, in addition to the high-K couplings of the π9/2 [514] ν7/2+ [633], π9/2 [514] ν5/2 [512], π7/2+ [404] ν7/2+ [633], and π5/2+ [402] ν5/2 [512] configurations. The signature splitting of the π1/2 [541] ν7/2+ [633] band is inverted from the expected splitting, and this is interpreted as being due to a residual proton-neutron interaction. It is shown empirically that this interaction, together with deformation changes, can account for the increased crossing frequency associated with the alignment of i13/2 neutrons in the π1/2 [541] bands of odd-Z nuclei.  相似文献

Energy distributions of π+ produced from 12C by electrons of total energy 195 MeV were measured at various angles. The results show large contributions from transitions leaving the residual nucleus in the ground (1+), first (2+) excited state and states at around 4.5 MeV. The angular distributions of 12C(γ, π+)12B leading to these residual states are deduced from the energy distributions by the unfolding method with the virtual photon theory. Theoretical results with the Helm model and the shell model are compared with the experimental results. Their relative shapes are in good agreement. A better agreement in the absolute value is found for the theoretical results which include the final-state interaction estimated with a pion optical potential. The surface production model shows better agreement with the experimental (γ, π+) cross sections than the volume production model.  相似文献

The time-dependence of the decay rate of initially pure K0 into the final state (π+ππ0) has been studied in search for the decay kS0→π+ππ0. No evidence is found in a sample of 384 observed events. The ratio of the CP -violating KS0 amplitude and the KL0 amplitude is η+−0 = (0.13−0.20+0.17) + i(0.17−0.26+0.27); the ratio of the CP-conserving KS0 amplitude and the KL0 amplitude is < 0.4. The energy dependence of the K0→π+ππ0 matrix element is found to be a+−0 = −0.31 ± 0.03.  相似文献

A new class of integrable models of (0+1)-and (1+1)-dimensional dilaton gravity coupled to any number of scalar fields is introduced and briefly discussed. These models can be reduced to a system of Liouville equations that are coupled through energy and momentum constraints. The constraints can be explicitly solved, thus giving an explicit analytic solution of the theory. In particular, these integrable models describe spherically symmetric black holes and branes of supergravity theories in higher dimensions.  相似文献

Lifetimes of excited 0+ states in 166Er have been measured with the (n,n′γ) reaction. The first and second excited 0+ states have no significant collective enhancements of their decays, and their properties are suggestive of pair-type excitations rather than those of a β vibration or phonon excitation built on the γ vibration. The third excited 0+ state at 1934 keV has an enhanced decay to the ground state band with B(E2; 04+ → 2gsb+) = 8.8 ± 0.9 W.u., consistent with that expected for a β vibration.  相似文献

The reactions πp → 2ππ+p, πp → 2ππ+πop and πp → 2π+n are analysed at 11 and 16 GeV/c using longitudinal phase space (LPS) plots. The weighted LPS distributions for πp → 2ππ+p is dominated by two well separated structures corresponding to single diffraction dissociation of the pion, πp → (2ππ+)p, and of the proton, πp → ππ+p). The former is more abundant than the latter, and both are approximately constant with energy. In contrast, processes of type πp → (2π)(πp) decrease with increasing energy.

In the five-body reactions the weighted LPS distribution reveals especially at 16 GeV/c a maximum for single dissociation of the proton into 3πp, namely πp → ππ+πop); this process is likely to be diffractive. The neutron channel has a corresponding maximum displaced toward a multiperipheral configuration πp → π+)n. Another strong maximum corresponds to the pion dissociation πp → (2ππ+πo)p. This is interpreted to be an ω-exchange process because no analogous structure occurs in πp → (2π+)n. Finally, a broad structure reveals double dissociation of both incident particles; it occurs in the two channels πp → (2ππ+)(πop) and πp → (2ππ+)(π+n), being stronger in the latter. Further analysis of this process in terms of isospin exchange suggests that it is partially diffractive. Factorization is also discussed.

An appendix gives general aspects of the LPS analysis for the asymptotic study of n-body collisions at very high energy.  相似文献

The arguments are put forward that the many pion decays ω→2π+π0 and π+π0 provide an ideal test site for testing the predictions of chiral models of the vector meson decays into many pions. Using the approach based on the Weinberg Lagrangian or, in a new language, the Lagrangian of hidden local symmetry added with the term induced by the anomalous Lagrangian of Wess and Zumino, the partial widths of these decays are evaluated, and their excitation curves in e+e annihilation are obtained. The discussed are the perspectives of the experimental study of the decays ω→5π in e+e annihilation and photoproduction.  相似文献

We present the results of a study of the exclusive reactions π+ 4He → π 4p (double charge exchange, DCE) and π+ 4He → π+ π 3pn (one-pion production). The experiment was performed with the Oxford/RHEL helium bubble chamber irradiated with a 1.7 GeV/c π+ beam. A general review of DCE models is presented and experimental results at other energies are discussed in the light of these models. None of the existing theoretical models is compatible with out data at 1.7 GeV/c. We propose a new mechanism for DCE, involving three nucleons, which reproduces the integrated as well as the differential cross sections. Some consequences for other models are also discussed.  相似文献

The π0 spectrum in the KL0 → 3π decay was measured using a wire chambers magnetic spectrometer. In the usual approximation, the matrix element can be expressed as: M2 ≈ 1 + 2a0(MK/Mπ2)(2Tπ0Tπ0max) + a1(MK2/Mπ4)(2Tπ0Tπ0max)2. We obtained a0 = −0.282 ± 0.011 and a1 consistent with zero.  相似文献
