Theγ-rays emitted in theβ-decay of182Ta have been reinvestigated with improved statistics in attempting to clarify the reported new levels at 1460.41, 1592.98, 1620.36, 1712.29 and 1762.91 keV in182W observed in theβ-decay of182Ta. The present study demonstrated that the fifteen newγ-rays, which were used to support the existence of the five new levels, are not relevant to theγ-decay of182Ta. Therefore the five new levels are not populated in this decay. Additionally, theγ-ray with an energy of 1035.6 keV (0 2 + →2 1 + ) deexciting theβ-band head in182W is observed for the first time in the present decay study and the previous tentative placement of the 351.0 keVγ-ray in the level scheme is confirmed by the present coincidence measurements.  相似文献

The level scheme of95Tc has been investigated with Ge(Li)-detectors by observing the γ-rays after the decay of 1.65 h95Ru. The energies and intensities of theγtransitions were extracted fromγ-singles andγγ-coincidence spectra. In the decay of95Ru 88γ-transitions were observed; a scheme of95Tc with 25 levels is proposed into which 86 transitions could be accomodated. Spin and parity assignments were made from log (ft) values andγ-ray branching ratios. The level structure of95Tc is compared with that of the other odd Tc isotopes.  相似文献

Using gaseous sources of Tc2O7 containing the radioactive isotopes94Tc,95Tc and96Tc, levels at 871.0keV (94Mo), 765.8, 820.6, 947.8, 1074.0keV (95Mo) and 778.3keV (96Mo) have been excited. From the effective cross sections for nuclear resonance scattering and from the lifetimes of the 947.8, 1074.0 and 778.3keV levels known from Coulomb excitation experiments the profiles of theγ-lines have been determined. A broadening of theγ-lines due to Coulomb explosion of the molecules has been observed. Making use of the line profiles, lifetimes ofΤ=(6.4±1.0) ps andΤ=(0.90 ± 0.20) ps have been determined for the 765.8 and 820.6keV levels, respectively. The angular distribution of the resonantly scattered radiation yields an amplitude ratioδ for the mixed M1 E2 765.8keV transition ofδ=0.14 ?0.009 +0.08 . TheB(E2) from a Coulomb excitation experiment and the lifetimeΤ from the present experiment yield ¦δ¦=0.07±0.01 for the 820.6keV transition.  相似文献

The level scheme of97Tc has been investigated by observing theγ-rays following the decay of 2.9-d97Ru.γ-singles andγγ-coincidence measurements were carried out with Ge(Li)-detectors. The time difference of coincident γ-rays was measured as a third parameter. From the coincidence events, the intensities ofγγ-cascades were extracted. The97Ru decay gives rise to 18γ-lines which could be fitted into a level scheme of97Tc consisting of 9 levels. Spin and parity assignments of the levels were made from log(ft) values andγ-ray branching ratios. Discrepancies concerning the energy of the first 3/2? state and the existence of a 946 keV level are discussed.  相似文献

The level structure of90Mo is investigated via the beta decay of90g Tc and90m Tc whose half-lives are measured to be 8.7±0.2 and 49.2±0.4 s, respectively. The decay properties are studied by means of beta and gamma spectroscopy techniques. The level structure of90Mo populated in the decays of both isomers is proposed with deducedJ π values. Theβ-decay energies for90g Tc and90m Tc are 8.8±0.3 and 9.3±0.3 MeV, respectively. The structure is discussed in terms of the shell model.  相似文献

Short-lived isomers in the nuclei90,92Nb,99Mo,98,100,101Tc and101Ru populated in photonuclear reactions were studied by pulsed beam techniques. Energy and half-life of theγ-rays deexciting the isomeric levels were measured by recording energy-time spectra. The delayedγ-rays andK X-rays were detected by means of an intrinsic Ge-detector of high resolution. From the measured intensity ratios internal conversion coefficients were determined. The multipolarities of the isomeric transitions could be deduced in most cases. A classification of the observed isomers has been tried on the basis of the obtained experimental results and most recent literature data.  相似文献

Gamma-gamma directional correlations have been investigated for several cascades in56Fe formed in the decay of56Mn or56Co. A combination of NaI(Tl) and Ge(Li) detectors was used for the experiments. It was established that a level at 3601 keV is populated in the decay of56Co. Spins given in the paranthesis were assigned to levels at the following energies: 2658(2), 2960(2), 3123(4), 3370(2), 3445(3), 3601(2), 3856(3), 4049(3), 4100(4), 4120(3), 4298(4), 4395(3) and 4459 keV (3,4). Multipole mixing ratios were determined forγ transitions of the following energies: 978, 1038, 1175, 1360, 1772, 1811, 1964, 2015, 2035, 2113, 2213, 2523, 2599, 3010, 3202, 3254, 3273, 3451 and 3548 keV. Theγ-rays from the decay of56Co of energies 674.7 and 2657.4 keV have been observed for the first time, and the presence of several other weakγ-rays in the56Fe decay has been confirmed. Nine angular correlations in the decay of56Ni have been investigated. The spin sequence 4, 3, 2, 0, 1 was unambiguously determined for the levels at 0, 158.2, 970.1, 1450.7 and 1720.0 keV. The multipolarity of theγ-rays of energies 158.2, 749.9 and 811.9 keV was determined as almost pure M1. The results are discussed within the framework of recent shell model calculations.  相似文献

The decay of62Zn     
Energies and relative intensities of 31γ-transitions from the decay of62Zn have been measured using an anti-Compton spectrometer. Gamma-gamma coincidence measurements were performed. Besides the levels of62Cu for which the population in the decay of62Zn was known, also levels at 644.82, 698.32, 1221.5 and 1525.9 keV in62Cu are found to be populated. The previously proposedβ-feeding of62Cu levels at 1142.5 and 1280.8 keV is ruled out.  相似文献

Theβ ? decay of the longer-lived isomer in100Nb has been studied at the fission-product separator JOSEF. Measurements ofγ-ray singles spectra, ofγ-γ coincidences and ofγ-γ angular correlations have been performed. A value oft 1/2=2.99(11)s has been determined for the isomer which probably hasI π=4+ or 5+. A scheme of the levels of100Mo which are populated in the decay of this isomer has been established. Information on the spins of several states of100Mo has been obtained. Thus,I=0 levels have been identified at 1,505, 2,038 and 2,087 keV. The mixing ratios have been determined for the 22 +→21 + and 23 +→21 + transitions. The results provide evidence for a vibrational structure of100Mo with separate bands based on the ground state and on the first excited 0+ level.  相似文献

Decay studies on a number of short-lived odd nuclei in theN=50 region are described. The 59.6-s 93Ru ground state decay was studied in detail for the first time; in these experiments the 10.8-s activity93m Ru was discovered. The91Tc activities were also observed for the first time. The ground state and an isomeric state of this nucleus decay with nearby equal half-lives (3.14 and 3.3-min). The activities91g Mo (16.6-min) and95m Mo (65.1-s) have been reinvestigated. A number ofγ-rays, previously erroneously assigned to the91Mo activities, could be eliminated. A strong similarity is noted for the decay schemes of theN=49 isotones91m Mo and93m Ru. The energy of the 1/2? isomeric state in93Ru and theB(M4)-value of the isomeric transition fit well into the systematics of the previously knownN=49 isotones.  相似文献

By combination of a differential and an integral measurement of perturbed angular correlations the sign and the magnitude of theg-factor of the 158.6 keV level in117Sn which is populated and depopulated by a 156.0 keV (M4)-158.6 keV (M1)-γ-γ-cascade was determined to beg=+ 0.45 ?0.30 +0.15 . An investigation of its halflife yieldedT 1/2=0.279 ± 0.009 nsec. The total conversion coefficient of theM4-transition was found to be 46.3 ± 1.8.  相似文献

The levels of195Au were analyzed by observingγ-singles andγγ-coincidences following the195Hg decay. Nine new lines are found which require two new levels at 778 and 946 keV. An interpretation of the level scheme is given on the basis of the de Shalit core-excitation model. A qualitative understanding of all levels up to 1 MeV excitation energy is obtained.  相似文献

The multipole mixing ratios of transitions from 6+ and 8+ states in94Mo, following the decay of94Tc, have been measured by means ofγγ angular correlations. The spin of the 2423.4 keV state, being important for the interpretation ofγ cascades feeding this level, has been firmly established as 6+ by a method in which the angular correlation data are utilized in a non-conventional way. Furthermore, properties of electromagnetic transitions in94Mo have been calculated in the shell model framework and are compared with the corresponding experimental quantities.  相似文献

The positron decay of146Eu was investigated, firstly to derive for the allowed transition to the 2046 keV state in146Sm the electron capture to positron decay ratio. The experimental valueEC/β +=43.7(42) is found to be in agreement within the respective error intervals with the ones calculated from the formalism of allowed decay using the recentQ-values of146Eu. Further on, theγ-decay properties of146Eu have been reinvestigated with emphasis on implied modifications of the hitherto accepted decay scheme: 42 new levels and 33 newγ-transitions were placed in the revised level scheme, 12 of the previously reported levels were deleted. The level distribution of146Sm is discussed within a statistical model. The indication for a non-statisticalβ-strength function is observed.  相似文献

The decay of 24h96Nb has been studied with a Ge(Li) spectrometer and with a Ge(Li)-NaI(Tl) coincidence spectrometer. A total of 27 gamma-ray transitions were observed, their energies and intensities measured. All but one of these have been incorporated into the level scheme of96Mo. The level at 1,625.9 keV reported recently in (n th, γ) work on95Nb has also been observed through the decay of96Nb. No experimental evidence has been found for previously proposed levels at 2,657 and 2,791 keV in96Mo.  相似文献

We have investigated theγ-rays from the decay of 46-min51Mn produced by the50Cr (d, n) reaction. Twelveγ-rays were observed. Theseγ-rays have been incorporated into a level scheme of51Cr with levels at 0, 749.1, 1164.4, 1353.3, 1557.4, 1899.4, 2001.4, 2312.5 and 2829.7 keV. Branching ratios, logft values, and jπ assignments are discussed for these levels. The lifetime of the 749.1 keV level was measured to be T1/2=7.6 ± 0.3 ns by utilizing the51V(p, n γ 51Cr reaction produced by a 3.8 MeV pulsed proton beam. The 749 keV,E2 transition is hindered by a factor of 34 compared to the Weisskopf estimate.  相似文献

Two Ge(Li) detectors were used to investigateγ transitions in155Gd produced by the decay of155Eu. Relative intensities were determined for the weak lines at 18.8, 26.5, 58.0, and 86.0 keV. Angular correlations for fourγ cascades were measured. As results, the mixing ratios of the 45.3 and 86.5 keVγ lines were determined, and it was shown that the sign of the mixing ratio is positive for theγ line at 18.8 keV and negative for the line at 60.0 keV. Spins 5/2 and 3/2 for the 86.5 and 105.3 keV levels, respectively, are consistent with the data, and spin 5/2 for the 105.3 keV level is inconsistent with it.  相似文献

Theβ + decay of86Mo has been firstly investigated by means ofβγ spectroscopy. The86Mo nuclei were produced by fusion-evaporation reactions of54 Fe (35Cl, 1 p2n) and58Ni (32S,2p 2n) at beam energies of 103 and 120 MeV, respectively. Threeγ rays of 47.3, 49.8 and 187.0 keV were unambiguously identified to follow theβ + decay of86Mo by results of andβγ coincidence and cross-bombardment. A half life and a maximumβ +-ray energy of86Mo were determined to be 19.6±1.1 s and 3.9±0.4 MeV, respectively. A decay scheme of86Mo is proposed in this article. Furthermore, a decay of86Nb has been studied using the same combinations of projectiles and targets, and a newβ-decaying isomer86m Nb was observed with a half life of 56.3±8.3 s.  相似文献
