The procedure of calculating within the frame-work of renormalized spin wave approximation the contribution from kinematic interaction of ferromagnons to the partition function and magnetization of the isotropic cubic ferromagnet is established. The investigation seen here through extends Dysons's spin wave approach to higher temperatures up to the critical point. In contradistinction to the graphs due to dynamic interaction of spin waves which effect the renormalization of the energy of non-interacting ferromagnons, the diagrams resulting from kinematic interaction are shown to correct the average spin wave population numbers only. That correction proves to be a solution of an integral equation and its quantity depends both on the temperature and the atomic spin quantum numberS, and it tends to zero with increasingS.  相似文献

By a Green function approach, spin waves in a surface-rearranged ferromagnetic thin film are derived both analytically and numerically. Heisenberg exchange, bulk and surface anisotropy between nearest neighbors and external magnetic field are taken into account for an sc film with {001} surfaces. Because of the anisotropies, the dynamical matrix defined from the Green function equations is not Hermitian, so we generalize the Bogoliubov canonical transformation to derive the spin wave spectrum. The spin waves propagating inside the film result from the superposition of two sine or hyperbolic sine waves. The amplitude and polarization of spin waves are shown to be quite sensitive to the details of the surface rearrangements, whereas spin wave energies are not so sensitive to such rerrangements, except when soft modes occur in the unrearranged configuration. In that case, we show that when the surface rearrangement is taken into account, soft modes disappear in the spin wave spectrum.  相似文献

The Hubbard solution to the Hubbard model showed a non-trivial metal-insulator transition. The value of the one-particle density of states at the Fermi energy in that solution decreased continuously with increasing value of the Hubbard interaction and vanished at a critical value of the interaction. Such a solution is derived from a planar model, as an approximation to the exact construction of the model's one-particle Green function.  相似文献

A variational method for spin waves in a disordered ferromagnet is described and is shown to give same results as obtained by a Green function method. The results of this calculation are applied to rare earth di-aluminium alloys. The spin wave dispersion relations in these alloys as a function of concentration are predicted.  相似文献

The dynamic susceptibilities (Green’s functions) of the system of two interacting wave fields of different physical natures with a stochastically inhomogeneous coupling parameter between them with zero mean value have been examined. The well-known self-consistent approximation taking into account all diagrams with noncrossing correlation/interaction lines has been generalized to the case of stochastically interacting wave fields. The analysis has been performed for spin and elastic waves. The results obtained taking into account the processes of multiple scattering of waves from inhomogeneities are significantly different from those obtained for this situation earlier in the Bourret approximation [R.C. Bourret, Nuovo Cimento 26, 1 (1962)]. Instead of frequencies degeneracy removal in the wave spectrum and the splitting of resonance peaks of dynamic susceptibilities, a wide single-mode resonance peak should be observed at the crossing point of the unperturbed dispersion curves. The fine structure appears at vertices of these wide peaks in the form of a narrow resonance on the Green’s-function curve of one field and a narrow antiresonance on the vertex of the Green’s-function curve of the other field.  相似文献

The parallel susceptibility of chain-like antiferromagnets is obtained by the spin wave theory considering kinematical interaction. The result obtained is very similar to that given by the Green function method for usual antiferromagnets. The correction due to kinematical interaction is expressed as a function of the spin reduction. It is found that the effect of kinematical interaction on the susceptibility is very large for chain-like antiferromagnets. Dynamical interaction is shown to contribute also greatly to the susceptibility. Numerical calculations are made for KCuF3. Case of antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic inter-chain exchange interaction are investigated numerically and it is concluded that the sign of the inter-chain exchange interaction is not important for chain-like antiferromagnets.  相似文献

The Green function technique has been employed to study the dynamic susceptibility of a spin-1 system above the Curie temperature. Bilinear and biquadratic terms have been added in writing the Hamiltonian of the system. Higher order Green functions have been decoupled by RPA and Callen type decouplings. In this paper we investigate the effect of spin wave excitations on the one-particle energy spectrum of an itinerant ferromagnet. A modifiedT-matrix approximation is developed which takes into account also the effect of other collective modes. In the case of a completely polarized system we obtain a new type of quasi-particle at low excitation energy, and a large damping of the usual one-particle excitations.  相似文献

A microscopic model is employed to calculate the spectrum of dipole-exchange spin waves in multilayers in which thin ferromagnetic films are separated by non-magnetic spacers. Two configurations are considered: in one the films have magnetizations parallel to each other, in the other the magnetizations are antiparallel. The calculations extend a previous microscopic formalism that allows the calculation of the dipole-exchange spin wave spectrum in thin films. In this Letter we report exact results on the infrared asymptotics of the one-particle dynamical correlation function of the gas of impenetrable spin 1/2 fermions at infinitesimal temperature. The correlation function shows signs of spin-charge separation with scaling behavior in the charge part and exponential decay as a function of the space coordinate in the spin part. Surprisingly, the anomalous dimensions in the charge part do not correspond to any unitary conformal field theory. We find that the fermion spectral weight has a power law divergency at low energy with the anomalous exponent -1/2.  相似文献

We describe a general mechanism of controllable energy exchange between waves propagating in a dynamic artificial crystal. We show that if a spatial periodicity is temporarily imposed on the transmission properties of a wave-carrying medium while a wave is inside, this wave is coupled to a secondary counterpropagating wave and energy oscillates between the two. The oscillation frequency is determined by the width of the spectral band gap created by the periodicity and the frequency difference between the coupled waves. The effect is demonstrated with spin waves in a dynamic magnonic crystal.  相似文献

Quantum mechanics equations for a system of the Bose particles are represented in the form of material field equations. A nonlinear equation for the macroscopic one-particle wave function is derived. Using the Krylov–Bogolyubov–Mitropol’skii method for equations in partial derivatives, nonlinear waves in the Bose–Einstein condensate are investigated. In the cubic approximation, dispersion relations for waves are derived and nonlinear frequency shift is calculated in the first- and third-order approximations for the interaction radius.  相似文献

Results for pseudogaps are obtained from a band model, where the stability of the gap depends on the amplitudes of vibrational displacements, or magnetic moments, and their coupling to electrons. A one-particle gap is favored by normal thermal excitations of phonons or spin waves. Another gap can be generated by spontaneous waves at lower temperature, if the electronic energy gain overcomes the elastic/magnetic energy needed for increased amplitudes of the oscillations. This state is characterized by charge or spin density waves. The pseudogap has many features in common with the superconducting gap, and the model lends support to the interpretation that the pseudogap is a precursor of, and competes with, superconducting pairing.  相似文献

基于交换耦合理论通常使用的近似分析的一般原理, 严格的分析了没有特定假设情况下的磁序范围或有关磁化密度的形式, 及在任何近似下提出一种关于耦合参数的计算方法. 并结合铁磁系统(磁性金属材料Gd, Fe, Ni), 定量的讨论了这种关系的适用范围, 也对自旋波和交换耦合进行了相关分析. 分析表明: 对于近邻磁性原子之间的交换耦合的计算以及在有限波矢量情况下对自旋波谱的计算都得到较为有意义的改进. 提出的交换耦合近似及自旋波谱的关系, 应用于铁磁系统时对近邻原子之间相互作用能给出较好的描述, 或对任何磁体中非完全局域磁化的自旋波谱较大波矢部分给出较合理的描述. 从磁性理论来看, 按照本文模型应用于磁学系统计算得到的结果与实验结果较好的符合.  相似文献
