On the basis of the distorted-wave method, experimental data on the triple-differential cross section for the Coulomb breakup reaction 208Pb(6Li, αd)208Pb are analyzed by employing a correct expression for the final-state 208Pb–α–d three-particle Coulomb wave function. It is shown that the effect of final-state three-particle Coulomb dynamics can be used to assess the kinematical condition of clean Coulomb breakup processes. New values of the astrophysical S factor for the direct-radiative-capture reaction d(α, γ)6Li at ultralow energies in the range of 70 ≤ E ≤ 600 keV were extracted from experimental data. The value of S(0) = 1.60 ± 0.17 MeV nb was obtained.  相似文献

In this article the results of the evaluation of the contribution of nuclear disintegration, based on the basis of diffraction theory in the 208Pb(6Li, αd)208Pb Coulomb breakup at an energy of 156 MeV is presented. Comparison of the results of the calculation with the experimental data of Kiener et al. [Phys. Rev. C 44, 2195 (1991)] gives evidence for the dominance of the Coulomb dissociation mechanism and contribution of nuclear distortion, but essentially smaller than the value reported byHammache et al. [Phys. Rev. C 82, 065803 (2010)] and Sümmerer [Prog. Part. Nucl. Phys. 66, 298 (2011)].  相似文献

Narrow lines were observed around 133 MeV excitation energy in the208Pb(d,3He) reaction atT d=300 MeV/u using the Fragment Separator System at GSI. They are assigned to the deeply boundπ ??207Pb states with configurations of $\left( {2p} \right)_{\pi ^ - } $ (3p1/2, 3p3/2) n ?1 .  相似文献

An iron-free intermediate-imageβ-ray spectrometer was used to investigate theβ-decay of208T1 in coincidence with the 2.615 MeVγ-ray of208Pb. Fourβ-groups were found, three of which were previously known. The fourth group has an endpoint energy of 0.64±0.03 MeV and an intensity of (4.5±1.5)%. It is supposed that this transition is still complex and feeds a group of levels around the known 4.3 MeV level of208Pb. Noβ-ray of maximum energy 1.032 MeV to the 3.961 MeV level could be found.  相似文献

γ-ray spectroscopic techniques have been applied to measure properties of excited states (E *<2MeV) in210Pb,212Po, and213At after populating these neutron rich (N=128) nuclei via18O induced few-nucleon transfer reactions on208Pb and209Bi targets. In212Po an isomeric state is located atE *=1,477 keV with a halflife oft 1/2=14.7±0.3 ns. This state is interpreted to be the 8+ yrast level which decays to the ground state via the measured $$8^ + \left( {121.1 keV} \right)6^ + \left( {223.3 keV} \right)4^ + \left( {405.1 keV} \right)2^ + \left( {727.8 keV} \right)0^ + $$ γ-cascade.α-decay (E α≈10.2 MeV) of the isomer is also observed. In210Pb the time spectra for members of the 4+ (297.8keV) 2+ (799.4keV)0+ γ-cascade show a delayed component with a halflife oft 1/2=152±13 ns which is attributed to the known 8+ yrast state atE *=1.27 MeV. For213At first results on theγ-decay of excited states are presented.  相似文献

The determination of the polarization of6Li-ions is discussed. It is shown, that independent of the reaction mechanism the following relations between the analysing powers for polarized deuterons and polarized6Li-ions hold for the6Li(d, α)4He-reaction: for all scattering angles \(\vartheta : A_{y y}^{(d)} (E, \vartheta ) = A_{y y}^{(Li)} (E, \vartheta )\) for the scattering angle \(\vartheta = \pi /2\) only: $$A_{z z}^{(d)} (E, \vartheta = \pi /2) = A_{z z}^{(Li)} (E, \vartheta = \pi /2)$$ and $$A_{x x - y y}^{(d)} (E, \vartheta = \pi /2) = A_{x x - y y}^{(Li)} (E, \vartheta = \pi /2)$$ . Using these identities the determination of the polarization of6Li-beams is reduced to the experimentally well established determination of the polarization of deuterons.  相似文献

We have reproduced the absolute width of theα decay of the ground state of212Po in a model in which the shell model is combined with a208Pb+α cluster model, and found that the amount of core+α clustering in the parent state is ~30%.  相似文献

The α decay of the new isotope 180Pb was observed in 40Ca bombardments of 144Sm: E α = 7.23(4) MeV, and, \({T_{1/2}} = \left( {4_{ - 2}^{ + 4}} \right){\text{ ms}}\) . With this decay energy and the known mass of 176Hg, the mass excess of 180Pb was calculated to be ?1.98(5) MeV.  相似文献

Neutron-deficient osmium and rhenium isotopes were produced by bombarding an enriched144Sm target with beams of27Al and28Si. Previously reported decay data concerning168,169,170Os were confirmed. Three newα groups, observed in the144Sm+27Al reaction, were assigned to the decay of166,167,168Re based on excitation functions,α-energy systematics and theoretical half-life predictions. Their decay properties are: $$\begin{gathered} {}^{166}\operatorname{Re} , E_\alpha = 5,372 (10) keV, T_{1/2} = 2.8 (3) s; \hfill \\ {}^{167}\operatorname{Re} , E_\alpha = 5,136 (8) keV, T_{1/2} = 6.1 (2) s and \hfill \\ {}^{168}\operatorname{Re} , E_\alpha = 4,894 (10) keV, T_{1/2} = 6.9 (8) s. \hfill \\ \end{gathered}$$ It is proposed that twoα groups, observed in the144Sm+28Si reaction, originate from isomeric states in168,169Re. Our measured data for the isomeric states are: $$\begin{gathered} {}^{168m}\operatorname{Re} , E_\alpha = 5,250 (10) keV, T_{1/2} = 6.6 (15) s and \hfill \\ {}^{169m}\operatorname{Re} , E_\alpha = 5,050 (10) keV, T_{1/2} = 12.9 (11) s. \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$   相似文献

Alpha- particle scattering from the resonant (3 1 + ) and non-resonant continuum states of6Li is studied at incident energy 10 MeV/A. Theα+d breakup continuum part within the excitation energyE ex=1.475–2.475 MeV is discretized in two energy bins. Unlike the results at higher incident energies, here the coupled-channel calculations show significant breakup continuum coupling effects on the elastic and inelastic scattering. It is shown that even when the continuum-continuum coupling effects are strong, the experimental data of the ground state and the resonant as well as discretized non-resonant continuum states impose stringent constraint on the coupling strengths of the non-resonant continuum states.  相似文献

The branching ratios of theγ rays of the second and fourth excited states of208Tl have been investigated by coincidence measurements between the α rays of212Bi and subsequent 40keVγ ray. The detectors employed were a silicon surface barrier counter for α particles, and a 1.5 in ×2 mm NaJ (Tl) crystal forγ rays. It has been found that (75.6±3.7)% of all transitions of the 328 keV state and (94±7)% of all transitions of the (492 keV+473 keV) states populate the first excited state of208Tl. The 40 keV state is excited to (3.4±0.3)% by transitions of higher excited states relative to the direct excitation by α particles. The number of α particles with energyE α = 6.047 MeV and the number of subsequent 40keVγ rays resulted in a conversion coefficient α(40keV)=22.55± 0.46. Similarly coincidence measurements between Tl-x rays and α particles have been used to determine theK- conversion coefficients αK(328 keV)=0.31±0.03 and αK(492 keV+ 473keV)=0.100±0.015. The experimental results are in good agreement with the theoretical values ofSliv.  相似文献

The continuum part of the6Li (a,a)6Li (1.47–2.47 MeV) scattering data at Ea=50 MeV are extracted in two discretized bins. Coupled-channel calculations are carried out coupling the 1+ ground state of6Li with both the resonant, 3+ 1 state, and two non-resonant continuum states. The discretized continuum of the6Li (p,p)6Li (1.75–3.25 MeV) scattering data at Ep=65 MeV are also analysed on the same footing. In both the cases the effect of coupling is found to be minimal.  相似文献

The gamma rays following the decay of208Tl have been studied using a separated208Tl-source and a Ge(Li)-detector. A decay scheme is proposed, with levels in208Pb at 3,920, 4,126 and 4,180 keV in addition to previously well-established levels. No support was found forΒ-branching to levels above 4.2 MeV.  相似文献

We have performed Monte Carlo calculations to estimate the exact energies of model problems for4He and theL=0,1, and 2 states of6Li. Using a Feynman path-integral expression for the imaginary-time evolution operator, we recast the ground state energy as a sum over histories, which are then sampled stochastically. Use of a trial wave function dramatically improves the efficiency of the Monte Carlo method. For a state-independent Malfliet-Tjon potential, together with the Coulomb interaction, we find a ground state energy of ?28.00+0.20 MeV for4He, and a degeneracy of theL=0,1, and 2 states in6Li at about ?59.65+-0.50 MeV. Density distributions for these nuclei are also calculated.  相似文献

The cross section of the11B(n, α)8Li reaction has been measured atE n=7.6 to 12.6 MeV. The neutron beam was produced via theD(d, n)3He reaction and aBF 3 counter (with naturalB isotopic composition) served both as target for the11B nuclides and as detector for the observation of the delayedα-activity of8Li. The data match well with previous results obtained atE n =12.5 to 20.0 MeV. Using the principle of detailed balance the data were converted to the case of the8Li(α, n 0)11B reaction. The associated astrophysicalS(E) factor is dominated by a resonance atE R=0.58 MeV of widthΓ R =200 keV, withS(E R )=8400 MeV b. ThisS (E R ) value for the n0 channel alone is already three times higher than the constantS(E) factor assumed previously and, thus, strengthens the significance of inhomogeneous Big Bang nucleosynthesis.  相似文献

Absorptive corrections have been calculated for photoproduction ofN *. Two versions for the uncorrected production amplitude are used. First, the one pion exchange Born approximation in the Coulomb gauge and second, a gauge invariant extension, restricted to the orbital electromagnetic current and to the isospinI=1-amplitude in thet-channel. We found the second restriction to be unimportant. Numerical values for cross sections and decay correlations in the BeV region are given in diagram form. Present day experimental accuracy does not allow to test the effects of absorption.  相似文献

Relative to the wellknowng-factor of56Fe(2 1 + ) at 0.847 MeV, theg-factor of the54Fe(2 1 + ) state at 1.408 MeV has been remeasured employing the technique of transient magnetic fields (TF) with the ions slowed down in ferromagnetic Gd host at initial velocities of 2.5 ν0. Coulomb excitation on beams of54,56Fe was accomplished with a Si target. The value obtained,g=1.05(17), is in excellent agreement with two previous results but disagrees with the value from a TF measurement where the ions passed through ferromagnetic Fe.  相似文献

The mass spectrum and decay modes of the \((cc) - (\overline {cc} )\) states are estimated in a quark-gluon model. We argue that the peculiar resonance-like structures ofR(e + e ? →hadrons) for \(\sqrt s = 6 - 7\) GeV may be due to production of theP-wave \((cc) - (\overline {cc} )\) states. They are predicted to lie in the range 6.4–6.8 GeV and mainly decay into charmend mesons.  相似文献

The energy dependence of the total reaction cross sectionσ r and its tensor analyzing powerT 20 r was measured for the7Li?51V interaction in the energy rangeE Li=10–20 MeV using two different experimental methods. Reaction residues were observed directly by their characteristicγ-emission, and the elastic scattering of7Li from51V was investigated. Additionally, the elastic scattering of6Li from51V was measured at 9.8, 12 and 14 MeV. The tensor analyzing power data can be interpreted as being caused by the spectroscopic mass deformation of the Li-ions. The energy dependence of σr andT 20 r above the Coulomb barrier can be described in terms of the classical sharp-cutoff model.  相似文献
