In this article, the author presents some results of the isometric linear extension from some spheres in the finite dimensional space S(n). Moreover, the author presents the representation for the onto isometric mappings in the space a. It is obtained that if V is a surjective isometry from the space s onto s with V(0)=0, then V must be real linear.  相似文献

In this paper, a characterization of almost periodicity of topological transformation groups on uniform spaces is given. By searching the appropriate base for uniform structure, it is shown that the topological transformation group is topologically equivalent to an isometric one if it is uniformly equicontinuous.  相似文献

We introduce the tracial limit A = (t4) limn→n∞ (An,pn) and show that if K0(An) has ordered relation, K0(A) has ordered relation naturally. In the case that A is simple and K0(An) is weakly unperforated for every n, K0(A) is weakly unperforated too. Furthermore, the Riesz interpolation property of K0(An) can be transmitted to K0(A).  相似文献

A Riemannian manifold V~m which admits isometric imbedding into two spaces V~(m+p)ofdifferent constant curvatures is called a manifold of quasi constant curvature.TheRiemannian curvature of V~m is expressible in the formand conversely.In this paper it is proved that if M~n is any compact minimal submanifoldwithout boundary in a Riemannian manifold V~(n+p)of quasi constant curvature,then∫_(M~u)(2-1/p)σ~2-[na+1/2(b-丨b丨)(n+1)]σ+n(n-1)b~2*丨≥0,where σ is the square of the norm of the second fundamental form of M~n When V~(n+p)is amanifold of constant curvature,b=0,the above inequality reduces to that of Simons.  相似文献

Let M be a compact minimal hypersurface of sphere Sn 1(1). Let (M) be H (r)-torus of sphere Sn 1 (1).Assume they have the same constant mean curvature H, the result in [1] is that ifSpec0(M, g) =Spec0((M), g),then for 3≤ n ≤ 6, r2≤n-1/n or n ≥ 6, r2 ≥ n-1, then M is isometric to (M). We improved the result and prove that: if Spec0(M,g) =Spec0((M),g), then M is isometric to (M). Generally, if Specp(M,g) =Specp((M),g), here p is fixed and satisfies that n(n - 1) ≠ 6p(n - p), then M is isometric to (M).  相似文献

Let(M~n, g)(n ≥ 3) be an n-dimensional complete Riemannian manifold with harmonic curvature and positive Yamabe constant. Denote by R and R?m the scalar curvature and the trace-free Riemannian curvature tensor of M, respectively. The main result of this paper states that R?m goes to zero uniformly at infinity if for p ≥ n, the L~p-norm of R?m is finite.As applications, we prove that(M~n, g) is compact if the L~p-norm of R?m is finite and R is positive, and(M~n, g) is scalar flat if(M~n, g) is a complete noncompact manifold with nonnegative scalar curvature and finite L~p-norm of R?m. We prove that(M~n, g) is isometric to a spherical space form if for p ≥n/2, the L~p-norm of R?m is sufficiently small and R is positive.In particular, we prove that(M~n, g) is isometric to a spherical space form if for p ≥ n, R is positive and the L~p-norm of R?m is pinched in [0, C), where C is an explicit positive constant depending only on n, p, R and the Yamabe constant.  相似文献

This paper defines a pairing of two finite Hopf C^*-algebras A and B, and investigates the interactions between them. If the pairing is non-degenerate, then the quantum double construction is given. This construction yields a new finite Hopf C^*-algebra D(A, B). The canonical embedding maps of A and B into the double are both isometric.  相似文献

A rigidity theorem for oriented complete submanifolds with parallel mean curvature in a complete and simply connected Riemannian (n p)-dimensional manifold Nn p with negative sectional curvature is proved. For given positive integers n(≥ 2), p and for a constant H satisfying H > 1 there exists a negative number τ(n,p, H) ∈ (-1, 0) with the property that if the sectional curvature of N is pinched in [-1, τ(n,p, H)], and if the squared length of the second fundamental form is in a certain interval, then Nn p is isometric to the hyperbolic space Hn p(-1). As a consequence, this submanifold M is congruent to Sn(1/ H2-1) or theVeronese surface in S4(1/√H2-1).  相似文献

A idempotent quasigroup (Q, o) of order n is equivalent to an n(n-1)×3 partial orthogonal array in which all of rows consist of 3 distinct elements. Let X be a (n+1)-set. Denote by T(n+1) the set of (n+1)n(n-1) ordered triples of X with the property that the 3 coordinates of each ordered triple are distinct. An overlarge set of idempotent quasigroups of order n is a partition of T(n+1) into n+1 n(n-1)×3 partial orthogonal arrays A_x, x∈X based on X\{x}.
