薛定谔猫态是一类重要的非经典光场,实验上可以通过真空压缩态减光子的方案获得.本文从理论上研究了实验条件对制备薛定谔猫态的影响,主要考虑了包括压缩态的压缩度和纯度、单光子探测器的效率及噪声以及零拍探测器的效率等诸多因素的影响.理想情况下通过减光子方案制备得到的薛定谔猫态为奇光子数态,其相空间原点的Wigner函数为负值是其非经典特性的重要判据,而保真度可以度量制备态与理想猫态之间的相似程度.在压缩态为非纯态以及单光子探测器为商用低效率阈值探测器的情况下,计算了制备猫态的保真度、Wigner函数及其相空间原点处W(0)的表达式,分析了实验条件对薛定谔猫态制备的影响,为制备高质量的薛定谔猫态提供了理论指导.  相似文献

We demonstrate the lossless state-selective detection of a single rubidium 87 atom trapped in an optical tweezer. This detection is analogous to the one used on trapped ions. After preparation in either a dark or a bright state, we probe the atom internal state by sending laser light that couples an excited state to the bright state only. The laser-induced fluorescence is collected by a high numerical aperture lens. The single-shot fidelity of the detection is 98.6±0.2% and is presently limited by the dark count noise of the detector. The simplicity of this method opens new perspectives in view of applications to quantum manipulations of neutral atoms.  相似文献

The fidelity of the generated Schrdinger Cat state(SCS) of a single trapped ion in the Lamb-Dicke approximation is discussed.The results show that the fidelity significantly decreases with the values of Lamb-Dicke parameter η and coherent state amplitude α increasing.For η = 0.20 and α = 3,the typical values of experimental parameters,the fidelity is rather low(30%).A scheme for generating the SCS is proposed without making the Lamb-Dike approximation in laser-ion interaction,and the fidelity of the generated SCS is about 99% for the typical values of experimental Lamb-Dicke parameters.  相似文献

We demonstrate single-shot qubit readout with a fidelity sufficient for fault-tolerant quantum computation. For an optical qubit stored in 40Ca+ we achieve 99.991(1)% average readout fidelity in 10(6) trials, using time-resolved photon counting. An adaptive measurement technique allows 99.99% fidelity to be reached in 145 micros average detection time. For 43Ca+, we propose and implement an optical pumping scheme to transfer a long-lived hyperfine qubit to the optical qubit, capable of a theoretical fidelity of 99.95% in 10 micros. We achieve 99.87(4)% transfer fidelity and 99.77(3)% net readout fidelity.  相似文献

A pulsed, balanced homodyne detector has been developed for precise measurement of the electric field quadratures of pulsed optical quantum states. A high level of common mode suppression (>85 dB) and low electronic noise (730 electrons per pulse) provide a signal-to-noise ratio of 14 dB for measurement of the quantum noise of individual pulses. Measurements at repetition rates as high as 1 MHz are possible. As a test, quantum tomography of the coherent state was performed, and the Wigner function and the density matrix were reconstructed with 99.5% fidelity. The detection system can be used for ultrarsensitive balanced detection in cw mode, e.g., for weak absorption measurements.  相似文献

We present a physical scheme to teleport an unknown atomic entangled state via cavity decay. In the teleportation process, four-particle Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) state is used as quantum channel, and two unknown entangled atoms and two of four atoms in the four-particle GHZ state are trapped in four leaky cavities, respectively. Based on the joint detection of the photons leak out from the four cavities, we can teleport an unknown entangled state to two other remote atoms with certain probability and high fidelity.  相似文献

This paper proposes a scheme for teleporting a two-atom entangled state using leaky cavities. It uses resonant atom--cavity interaction to map the atomic state onto the cavity field. Then it utilizes the interference of polarized photons to establish the correlation between the distant sender and receiver. The advantage of the scheme is that the fidelity is independent of the cavity decay rate, atomic decay and detection efficiency.  相似文献

We investigate the optimal trade-off between information gained about an unknown coherent state and the state disturbance caused by the measurement process. We propose several optical schemes that can enable this task, and we implement one of them, a scheme that relies on only linear optics and homodyne detection. Experimentally we reach near optimal performance, limited only by detection inefficiencies. In addition, we show that such a scheme can be used to enhance the transmission fidelity of a class of noisy channels.  相似文献

We address conditional de-Gaussiflcation of continuous variable states by inconclusive photon subtraction (IPS) and review in detail its application to the bipartite twin-beam state of radiation. The IPS map in the Fock basis and counterpart in the phase space have been derived. Teleportation assisted by IPS states is analyzed, and the corresponding fidelity is evaluated as a function of the involved parameters. Nonlocality of IPS states is investigated by means of different tests, including displaced parity, homodyne detection, pseudospin, and displaced on/off photodetection. Dissipation and thermal noise and nonunit quantum efficiency are taken into account in the detection stage. We show that the IPS process, for a suitable choice of the involved parameters, improves teleportation fidelity and enhances nonlocal properties.  相似文献

廖湘萍等(Chin.Phys.B 23 020304,2014)指出弱测量和弱测量反转操作可以保护三个量子比特的纠缠,提高保真度.本文将弱测量方法推广至四个量子比特的情况,研究了几种典型四个量子比特量子态的演化.结果表明:在振幅阻尼通道中,弱测量方法能够有效地提高系统量子态的保真度.分析了影响量子态保真度的各种因素,对比了不同量子态的演化特征,划分了量子态保真度提高的敏感区域.最后,对弱测量方法抑制量子态衰减的内在机制做了合理的物理解释.  相似文献

Dicke states represent a class of multipartite entangled states that can be generated experimentally with many applications in quantum information. We propose a method to experimentally detect genuine multipartite entanglement in the vicinity of arbitrary Dicke states. The detection scheme can be used to experimentally quantify the entanglement depth of many-body systems and is easy to implement as it requires measurement of only three collective spin operators. The detection criterion is strong as it heralds multipartite entanglement even in cases where the state fidelity goes down exponentially with the number of qubits.  相似文献

This paper presents a scheme for generating three-particle W state of remote atoms trapped in leaky cavities.The scheme uses cavity decay to inject photons into a setup of optical devices which consist of a series of beam splitters and photon detectors.Photon detection on the output mode projects the atomic state into the W state.In the condition of “weakly driven approach”,it shows that the scheme is robust and has high fidelity.It also points out that the scheme is scalable to generate multi-atomic W state.  相似文献

光场的量子存储不仅是构建量子计算机的重要基础,而且是实现量子中继和远距离量子通信的核心部分.由于存在不可避免的光学损耗,光学参量放大器产生的压缩真空态光场将变为压缩热态光场,不再是最小不确定态.因此,压缩热态光场的量子存储是实现量子互联网的关键.在原子系综中利用电磁诱导透明机制能够实现量子态在光场正交分量和原子自旋波之间的相互映射,即受控量子存储.本文根据量子存储的保真度边界,研究了实现压缩热态光场量子存储的条件.量子存储的保真度边界是通过经典手段能够达到的最大保真度,当保真度大于该边界时,就实现了量子存储.通过数值计算分析了不同情况下压缩热态光场的量子存储保真度边界,以及存储保真度随存储效率的变化关系,得到了实现量子存储的条件,为连续变量量子存储实验设计提供了直接参考.  相似文献

We propose a scheme to prepare many two-mode cavities into one-dimensional cluster states in the context of cavity QED. The left-circularly polarized state and right-circularly polarized state of the cavity are encoded as the logic zero and one of the qubits. In the scheme, the atomic spontaneous emission is suppressed, and the fidelity is unaffected by the cavity decay on the assumption that the detection efficiencies of all the photondetectors are 1.  相似文献

Using the expression of the fidelity for the most general Gaussian quantum states, the quantum fidelity is studied for the states of a harmonic oscillator interacting with an environment, in particular with a thermal bath. The time evolution of the considered system is described in the framework of the theory of open systems based on quantum dynamical semigroups. By taking a correlated squeezed Gaussian state as initial state, we calculate the quantum fidelity for both undisplaced and displaced states. The time evolution of the quantum fidelity is analyzed depending on the squeezing and correlation parameters characterizing the initial Gaussian state and on the dissipation constant and temperature of the thermal bath.  相似文献

We study the energy level crossing and the thermal fidelity in a two-qubit system with the presence of a transverse inhomogeneous magnetic field.With the help of contour plots,we clearly identify the ground states of the system in different regions of parameter space,and discuss the corresponding energy level crossing.The fidelity between the ground state of the system and the state of the system at temperature T is calculated.The result shows that the fidelity is very sensitive to the magnetic field anisotropic factor,indicating that this factor may be used as a controller of the fidelity.The influence of the Yangian transition operators on the fidelity of the system is discussed.We find that the Yangian operators can change the fidelity dramatically and give rise to sudden birth and sudden death phenomena of the thermal fidelity.This makes the corresponding Yangian operators possible candidates for switchers to turn the fidelity on and off.  相似文献

This paper proposes a decoherence-immune scheme for generating highly entangled states for two atoms trapped in a cavity. The scheme is based on two resonant atom-cavity interactions. Conditional upon the detection of no photon, the two atoms may exchange an excitation via the first resonant interaction, which leads to entanglement. Due to the loss of the excitation, the two atoms are in a mixed entangled state. With the help of an auxiliary ground state not coupled to the cavity mode, the state related to the excitation loss is eliminated by the detection of a photon resulting from the second resonant interaction. Thus, the fidelity of entanglement is almost not affected by the decoherence.  相似文献

Based on the interaction between a three-level system and a microtoroidal resonator, we present a scheme for long-distance quantum communication in which entanglement generation with near 0.5 success probability and swaps can be implemented by accurate state detection via measuring about 100 photons. With this scheme the average time of successful entanglement distribution over 2500 km with high fidelity can be decreased to only about 30 ms.  相似文献

利用单个Ⅱ类相位匹配OPA产生的双模压缩态实现连续变量压缩纠缠态,完成了连续变量量 子离物传态. Ⅱ类相位匹配OPA参量反放大过程可以实现正交振幅反关联、正交位相关联的 压缩纠缠态,这不同于一般运转于阈值以下的OPO产生的正交振幅关联、正交位相反关联的 压缩纠缠态,可以采用直接平衡测量的方法完成Bell态测量. 利用双KTP补偿非线性过程的 离散效应,获得了最大压缩大于2dB的双模压缩纠缠态,实现保真度06,考虑到探测效率 实际保真度为057. 这种方案简化了测量方法与纠缠光源产生装置,有利于进行量子通信 的实验研究与应用. 同时,讨论了探测过程中的一些非理想因素. 关键词: 量子离物传态 压缩纠缠态 Bell态测量  相似文献
