Cobalt(II) complexes of the Schiff bases 1,2-(diimino-4-antipyrinyl)ethane (GA) and 4-N-(4-antipyrylmethylidene)aminoantipyrine (AA) have been prepared and characterised by elemental analysis, electrical conductance in non-aqueous solvents, i.r. and electronic spectra, as well as by magnetic susceptibility measurements. The complexes have the general formulae [Co(GA)X]X (X = ClO 4 or NO3 ), [Co(GA)X2] (X = Cl, Br or I), [Co(AA)2]X2 (X = ClO4 , NO3 , Br or I) and [Co(AA)Cl2]. GA acts as a neutral tetradentate ligand, coordinating through both carbonyl oxygens and both azomethine nitrogens. In the perchlorate and nitrate complexes of GA one anion is coordinated in a bidentate fashion, whereas in the halide complexes both anions are coordinated to the metal, generating an octahedral geometry around the Co ion. AA acts as a neutral bidentate ligand, coordinating through the carbonyl oxygen derived from the aldehydic moiety and the azomethine nitrogen. Both anions remain ionic in the perchlorate, nitrate, bromide and iodide complexes of AA, whereas both anions are coordinated to the metal ion in the chloride complex, resulting tetrahedral geometry around the Co ion.  相似文献

The phenomenological, kinetic and mechanistic aspects of the nitrate, chloride, bromide and iodide complexes of cobalt(II) with 4-N-(4-antipyrylmethylidene)aminoantipyrine (AA) have been studied by TG and DTG techniques. The kinetic parameters such as activation energy, pre-exponential factor and entropy of activation were computed. Summary The reactions of 2,2-biquinoline(biq) with M(PhCN)2X2 (M=Pd; X=Cl or Br; M=Pt, X=Cl, Br or I), K2PtCl4 and RhCl3·3H2O and of 2-(2-pyridyl)quinoline (pq) with K2PtCl4 and RhCl3·3H2O have been investigated. The isolated complexescis-[Pd(biq)X2] (X=Cl or Br),cis-[Pt(biq)Cl2],cis-[Pt(biq)Cl2]·H2O,trans-[Pt(biq)2Br2]·5H2O, [Pt3(biq)2I6],mer-[Rh(biq)Cl3-(H2O)] andmer-[Rh(pq)Cl3(H2O)] have been characterized by elemental analyses, conductivity measurements, i.r., electronic, and1H n.m.r. spectra. The reaction of pq with K2PtCl4 in 1M H2SO4 gave the salt 2-(2-pyridyl) quinolinium tetrachloroplatinate(II) pentahydrate, (pqH)2[PtCl4]·5H2O; when the reaction was carried out in aqueous acetone,cis-[Pt(pq)Cl2] was obtained. Metal complexes of N′-(4-phenyl thiazole-2-yl) thiourea (L) possessing the stoichiometry, [MLX2] (M = Cu2+; X = Cl, Br, NO3 and ClO4), (M = Ni2+; X = Cl), (M = Co2+; X = Cl, NO3) have been isolated and studied. Tentative geometry of the complexes has been deduced by elemental analyses, magnetic and spectroscopic techniques. The behavior of 7-hydroxy-4′-fluoroisoflavones under the conditions of the Mannich reaction with primary amines was studied. New 9-alkyl-substituted 3-(4-fluorophenyl)-9,10-dihydro-4H,8H-chromeno-[8,7-e][1,3]oxazin-4-ones were synthesized. Summary The chelates formed between 1,4-bis(2-hydroxyphenylazomethine) phenylene with La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Dy, Er, Yb, and Lu ions have been investigated in solution using conductometric, potentiometric, and spectrophotometric methods. The studies revealed the formation ofM 2 L andML complexes. The solid chelates have been characterized by elemental and thermal analysis, molar conductance, IR,1H NMR (for La and Lu chelates), and electronic spectra. The bonding takes place through the coordination of nitrogen in the -CH=N- group and the oxygen of the hydroxyl group by proton displacement.
Synthese und Charakterisierung einiger neuer Lanthanid(III)-Chelate mit 1,4-bis-(2-Hydroxyphenylazomethin)-phenylen
Zusammenfassung Chelate von 1,4-bis-(2-Hydroxyphenylazomethin)-phenylen mit La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Dy, Er, Yb und Lu in Lösung wurden konduktometrisch, potentiometrisch und spektrophotometrisch untersucht. Die Bildung von Komplexen der FormM 2 L undML wurde festgestellt. Die festen Chelate wurden mittels Elementaranalyse. Thermoanalyse, molarer Leitfähigkeit, IR-, UV/Vis-und im Fall von La und Lu-NMR-Spektroskopie charakterisiert. Die Komplexbindung erfolgt durch Koordination des Stickstoffs der -CH=N- Gruppe und des Sauerstoffs der Hydroxylgruppe unter Protonenverschiebung.

Efficient synthesis of 3,3′-(arylmethylene)bis(4-hydroxy-2H-chromen-2-ones) has been achieved by methanesulfonic acid-catalyzed, microwave-assisted reaction of 4-hydroxycoumarin and aromatic aldehydes in ethanol. The procedure has the advantages of high yield, short reaction time, low energy consumption, and convenient work-up. Compound structures were confirmed by IR, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR spectroscopy and by elemental analysis.  相似文献

Equilibrium and kinetic data were determined for copper extraction by individual 1-(2-hydroxy-5-nonylphenyl)-1-ethanone (E)-oxime and 1-(2-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl)-1-decanone (E)-oxime having different locations of the nonyl group. Solubility in water, partition of oximes between water and toluene and the interfacial tension isotherms were also determined and used to interpret kinetic data and to discuss the mechanism of copper extraction. 1-(2-hydroxy-5-nonylphenyl)-1-ethanone (E)-oxime extracts the same amount of copper and at the same pH range as 1-(2-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl)-1-decanone (E)-oxime. The extraction rate is much faster for copper extraction with 1-(2-hydroxy-5-nonylphenyl)-1-ethanone (E)-oxime. This can be qualitatively explained by its higher solubility in aqueous solutions or by its better adsorption and orientation at the interfaces as the bulk volume process or the interfacial process are considered.  相似文献

The synergic extraction of various tervalent lanthanides (Ln), La, Ce, Nd, Sm, Gd, Tb, Yb and Lu, with 2-thenoyltrifluoroacetone (Htta) in the presence of a bidentate heterocyclic amine, 2,2′-bipyridine (bipy), in benzene was investigated. The synergic enhancement was attributed to the formation of the adducts, Ln(tta)3(bipy). The synergic extraction of La(III), Sm(III) and Lu(III) with Htta and a unidentate amine, pyridine (py), was also studied and the formation of the adducts, Ln(tta)3py and Ln(tta)3(py)2, was observed. The adduct formation constants, βs,1 and βs,2, were determined. The βs,2 values for py decrease with increasing atomic number of Ln(III), but βs,1 values for bipy increase with increasing atomic number of Ln(III). The synergic extraction constants and the separation factors in the bipy system were also determined.  相似文献

A new synthetic procedure for the formation of 2-amino-2′-hydroxy-1,1′-binaphthyl, and a new purification procedure through the formation of Schiff bases, purification of the Schiff bases, and breakdown of the Schiff bases through amine exchange, are described. Through the new purification procedure, greater than 99% purity of the compound can be obtained easily and reliably. A set of procedures were examined to compare the efficiency and reliability to resolve 2-amino-2′-hydroxy-1,1′-binaphthyl into enantiomers. A new procedure was discovered to enrich enantiomeric excess from less than 10% to 95–99% in one step. Even a racemic mixture from an achiral procedure can be enriched to 67% e.e. in about 4% yield. The X-ray crystal structure of the racemic mixture [rhombohedral, space group Iba2, a=15.718(2) Å, b=21.703(2) Å, c=8.5398(9) Å, V=2913.2(5) Å3, R1=0.0705, Z=8, dcalcd=1.301 g/cm3, F(000)=1200 e] was solved to elucidate the intriguing behavior of this compound.  相似文献

A new Zn(Ⅱ) complex, [Zn(L)2(H2O)2], where H2L = N-(2-hydroxy-l-naphthylidene)-L-serine, has been synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal belongs to monoclinic system, space group C2/c with a = 13.669(2), b = 6.4657(9), c =31.463(5) (A), β = 98.010(2)°, V = 2753.6(7) (A)3, Z = 8, Mr = 358.64, Dc = 1.730 g/cm3, F(000) =1472,μ(MoKa) = 1.814 mm-1, the final R = 0.0355 and wR = 0.0706. The Zn(Ⅱ) atom adopts a square-pyramidal geometry coordinated by the tridentate ligand and two water molecules.Intermolecular hydrogen bonds link the complex molecules into a two-dimensional layer.  相似文献

Complexes of Ag, Cu, Ca, Nd, and Er nitrates with 4-nitrobenzo-15-crown-5 (NB15C5) were synthesized and their IR absorption spectra were studied. Macrocyclic conformation in the complexes was determined. The structures of the complexes were proposed with account of the data of IR absorption spectra and of the previous X-ray diffraction study. In the Ag, Cu, and Ca complexes, NB15C5 was found in the inner sphere, while in the Nd and Er complexes, it was found to be the outer-sphere ligand.  相似文献
