The 13C and 119Sn NMR spectra of a set of di-n-butyltin(IV) compounds and their complexes in coordinating and non-coordinating solvents have been studied. The results have shown that it is possible to describe semiquantitatively the shape of coordination polyhedra of these compounds from analysis of their δ(119Sn) and 1J(119Sn-13C) parameters. The values of δ(119Sn) define the regions with different coordination numbers of the central tin atom, so that four-coordinate compounds have δ(119Sn) ranging from about + 200 to −60 ppm, five-coordinate compounds, −90 to −190 ppm, and six-coordinate compounds, −210 to −400 ppm. The values of 1J(119Sn-13C) were used for the calculation of the CSnC angle in the coordination polyhedron of individual compounds. 相似文献

The 13C and 119Sn NMR spectra of some tribenzyltin(IV) compounds and their complexes in coordinating and non-coordinating solvents have been studied. The δ(119Sn) chemical shifts and coupling constants 1J(119Sn, 13C) clearly depend on the coordination number of the central tin atom and the geometry of its coordination polyhedra. Approximate ranges of the characteristic values of both the NMR parameters were determined for various configurational types of tribenzyltin compound. The 13C and 119Sn NMR parameters found are indicative of a distinct interaction between the polarized σ(SnC) bond and adjacent π-electron system of the aromatic ring(s). 相似文献

New organotin(IV) derivatives containing the anionic ligands bis(3,5‐dimethylpyrazol‐1‐yl)dithioacetate [LCS2]− and bis(3,5‐dimethylpyrazol‐1‐yl)acetate [LCO2]− have been synthesized from reaction between (CH3)2SnCl2 and lithium salts of the ligands. Mononuclear complexes of the type {[LCX2](CH3)2SnCl} (X = S or O) have been obtained and fully characterized by elemental analyses and FT‐IR in the solid state and by NMR (1H, 13C and 119Sn) spectroscopy, conductivity measurements and electrospray ionization mass spectrometry in solution. The acute toxicity of new organotin(IV) derivatives on rat was studied, comparing their effect with those of dimethyltin chloride (CH3)2SnCl2. The comparison of LD50 of organotin(IV) complexes and (CH3)2SnCl2 administered intraperitoneally, as a single dose, evaluated in vivo on rats, showed that toxicity decreases as follows: (CH3)2SnCl2 > LCO2 > LCS2. The effect of these organotin(IV) complexes on DNA was evaluated in vitro and in vivo on rats treated with different doses of these compounds (1/20 LD50 and 1/100 LD50). The lymphocyte DNA status was assessed by the comet assay, a rapid and sensitive single‐cell electrophoresis technique, used to detect primary DNA damage in individual cells. After 36 h from the start of treatment the two new organotin(IV) derivatives induced a significant rise in comet assay parameters, indicating an increasing presence of damaged DNA. We have tested several computational protocols, at the nonrelativistic DFT level of theory, for the calculation of 1J(119Sn, 13C) and 2J(119Sn, 1H) spin-spin coupling constants in di- and trimethyltin(IV) derivatives with various ligands. Quite a good agreement with experimental data has been found with several hybrid functionals and a double-zeta basis set for a set of molecules comprising tetra-, penta-, and hexa-coordinated tin(IV). Then, some of the protocols have been applied to the calculation of the 2J(119Sn, 1H) of the aquodimethyltin(IV) ion and dimethyltin(IV) complex with D-ribonic acid and to the calculation of 1J(119Sn, 13C) and 2J(119Sn, 1H) of the dimethyltin(IV)-glycylglycine and glycylhistidine complexes in water solutions. Solvent effects have been considered in these cases by including explicit water molecules and/or the solvent reaction field, resulting in a good agreement with experimental data. The proposed protocols constitute a helpful tool for the structural determination of di- and triorganotin(IV) derivatives. 相似文献

The 13C chemical shifts and 13C−119Sn, 117Sn coupling constants for several organotin(IV) compounds RxSnCl4−x (R = Me, Bun, Ph; x = 1−4) have been measured in both inert (CDCl3) and donor (DMSO-d6) solvents, as have 13C data for the compounds RxSnR′4−x (R = Me, Ph; R′ = Bun and R = Me; R′ = Ph; x = 1−3) and the compounds Me3SnX (X = pseudo halide). The δ and 1J(C-Sn) values appear to depend mainly on the type and number of substituents on tin and the donor ability of the solvent. There are linear relationships between the number of substituents (x) and both δ and 1J(C-119Sn) for almost the RxSnX4−x series (R = Me, Bun, Ph; X = Cl and R = Me, Bun; X = Ph; x = 1−4), when measured in a single solvent, e.g. CDCl3. There is an excellent linear relationship between 1J(C-119Sn) and 2J(1HC-119Sn) for the compounds MexSnCl4−x. Determination of 13C data for Me3SnCl and Ph3SnCl in a range of solvents reveals that the value of 1J(C-Sn) increases with the donor ability of the solvent. The marked increase in the values of 1J(C-119Sn) in DMSO-d6 for the compounds RxSnCl4−x(R = Me, Bun,Ph) on going progressively from x = 4 to x = suggest tin coordination numbers of 4, 5, 6 and 6, respectively. Some additional physical data are presented for the isolated complexes from DMSO and the compounds PhxSnCl4−x(x = 1−3) and Me3SnX with X = N3 or OCOMe. 相似文献

Representative polyethyleneimine-based polymers have been studied by 13C- and 15N-nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and an extensive set of chemical shift assignments has been proposed for the complex spectra obtained. The samples in question represent a complex mixture of both protonated and nonprotonated primary, secondary, and tertiary as well as quaternary monomeric units. 相似文献

Metal azido complexes are of general interest due to their high energetic properties, and platinum azido complexes in particular because of their potential as photoactivatable anticancer prodrugs. However, azido ligands are difficult to probe by NMR spectroscopy due to the quadrupolar nature of (14)N and the lack of scalar (1)H coupling to enhance the sensitivity of the less abundant (15)N by using polarisation transfer. In this work, we report (14)N and (15)N NMR spectroscopic studies of cis,trans,cis-[Pt(N(3))(2)(OH)(2)(NH(3))] (1) and trans,trans,trans-[Pt(N(3))(2)(OH)(2)(X)(Y)], where X=Y=NH(3) (2); X=NH(3), Y=py (3) (py=pyridine); X=Y=py (4); and selected Pt(II) precursors. These studies provide the first (15)N NMR data for azido groups in coordination complexes. We discuss one- and three-bond J((15)N,(195)Pt) couplings for azido and am(m)ine ligands. The (14)N(α) (coordinated azido nitrogen) signal in the Pt(IV) azido complexes is extremely broad (W(1/2)≈2124 Hz for 4) in comparison to other metal azido complexes, attributable to a highly asymmetrical electric field gradient at the (14)N(α) atom. Through the use of anti-ringing pulse sequences, the (14)N NMR spectra, which show resolution of the broad (14)N(α) peak, were obtained rapidly (e.g., 1.5 h for 10 mM 4). The linewidths of the (14)N(α) signals correlate with the viscosity of the solvent. For (15) N-enriched samples, it is possible to detect azido (15)N resonances directly, which will allow photoreactions to be followed by 1D (15)N NMR spectroscopy. The T(1) relaxation times for 3 and 4 were in the range 5.7-120 s for (15)N, and 0.9-11.3 ms for (14)N. Analysis of the (1)J((15)N,(195)Pt) coupling constants suggests that an azido ligand has a moderately strong trans influence in octahedral Pt(IV) complexes, within the series 2-pic相似文献

The 13C and 119Sn NMR spectra of tri(1-butyl)tin(IV) and triphenyltin(IV) oxinates and 1-naphthoxides in neat liquid and deuteriochloroform, pentadeuteriopyridine and hexamethylphosphortriamide solutions, and the 15N NMR spectra of both the oxinates and 8-methoxyquinoline in deuteriochloroform have been recorded. From the comparison of chemical shifts δ(13C), δ(15N) and δ(119Sn) and coupling constants nJ(119Sn13C) of the compounds it is concluded that the triorganotin(IV) oxinates, both as the neat liquid and in solution, form complexes containing five-coordinate tin atoms. In the neat liquid and in deuteriochloroform (a non-coordinating solvent) oxinates form chelate complexes with a cis-trigonal bipyramid arrangement. In coordinating solvents (pentadeuteriopyridine, hexamethylphosphortriamide) these are equilibria involving the formation of small amounts of oxinate complexes with one solvent molecule. These complexes have trans-trigonal bipyramid geometry with butyl or phenyl groups in equatorial plane and the monodentate oxinate group and a solvent molecule in axial positions. 相似文献

The structure of silver cyanide has been investigated by solid-state multinuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Carbon-13 and nitrogen-15 NMR spectra of magic-angle-spinning (MAS) and stationary powder samples of isotopically enriched Ag(13)CN, Ag(13)C(15)N, and AgC(15)N have been acquired at the external applied magnetic field strengths 4.7, 7.05, and 9.4 T. Axially symmetric carbon and nitrogen chemical shift (CS) tensors provide evidence for linearity of the polymeric (-Ag-CN-)(n)() chains. A two-site model is required to successfully simulate the (13)C MAS NMR line shape, which is dominated by indirect nuclear spin-spin coupling between (109/107)Ag and (13)C nuclei. In combination with relativistic zeroth-order regular approximation density functional theory (ZORA-DFT) calculations on model AgCN fragments, the (13)C MAS NMR results show that 30 +/- 10% of the silver sites are disordered, that is, either -NC-Ag-CN- or -CN-Ag-NC-, and 70 +/- 10% of the silver sites are ordered, that is, -NC-Ag-NC-. Effective dipolar coupling data extracted from (13)C NMR spectra of stationary samples allow an upper limit of 1.194 A to be placed on the carbon-nitrogen internuclear distance. After incorporation of the effects of anisotropic indirect nuclear spin-spin coupling and motional averaging on the NMR-derived distance, a corrected value of r(CN) = 1.16 +/- 0.03 A is obtained. This work provides an example of the type of information which may be obtained from solid-state NMR studies of disordered materials and how such information may complement that available from diffraction studies. 相似文献

The molecular configuration and crystal structure of solid polycrystalline N,N′′‐diacetylbiuret (DAB), a potential nitrogen‐rich fertilizer, have been analyzed by a combination of solid‐ and liquid‐state NMR spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction, and DFT calculations. Initially a pure NMR study (“NMR crystallography”) was performed as available single crystals of DAB were not suitable for X‐ray diffraction. Solid‐state 13C NMR spectra revealed the unexpected existence of two polymorphic modifications (α‐ and β‐DAB) obtained from different chemical procedures. Several NMR techniques were applied for a thorough characterization of the molecular system, revealing chemical shift anisotropy (CSA) tensors of selected nuclei in the solid state, chemical shifts in the liquid state, and molecular dynamics in the solid state. Dynamic NMR spectroscopy of DAB in solution revealed exchange between two different configurations, which raised the question, is there a correlation between the two different configurations found in solution and the two polymorphic modifications found in the solid state? By using this knowledge, a new crystallization protocol was devised which led to the growth of single crystals suitable for X‐ray diffraction. The X‐ray data showed that the same symmetric configuration is present in both polymorphic modifications, but the packing patterns in the crystals are different. In both cases hydrogen bonds lead to the formation of planes of DAB molecules. Additional symmetry elements, a two‐fold screw in the case of α‐DAB and a c‐glide plane in the case of β‐DAB, lead to a more symmetric (α‐DAB) or asymmetric (β‐DAB) intermolecular hydrogen‐bonding pattern for each molecule. 相似文献

The synthesis, spectroscopy, and antitumor behavior of organotin(IV) complexes of 2,3-methylenedioxyphenylpropenoic acid are described. The spectroscopic data indicate 1 : 2 and 1 : 1 metal to ligand stoichiometry in case of di- and trioganotin(IV) compounds and hypervalency of Sn(IV) in trigonal bipyramidal and octahedral modes. Mass spectrometric and elemental analysis data support the solid and solution spectroscopic results. The complexes have been evaluated in vitro against crown gall tumor and bio-activity screenings showed in vitro biological potential. The nature of covalent attachments (methyl, ethyl, n-butyl, phenyl, and n-octyl) of Sn(IV) played a decisive role for bioactivity. All the compounds have been studied in solution by NMR (1H, 13C) and also in solid state using FTIR, mass spectrometry, and by X-ray crystallography. The molecular structure of Et2Sn(IV) and Me3Sn(IV) derivatives confirm the behavior of di- and tri-organotin(IV) compounds in solid state. Mono-organotin derivatives are octahedral both in solid and solution. 相似文献

We report the solid-state 13C and 15N NMR of insoluble elastin which has been synthesized in vitro with isotopically enriched glycine. Most of the glycines reside in a domain with good cross-polarization (CP) efficiencies, although surprisingly, a portion resides in an environment that is not detectable using CP. Our data indicate that much of the 13C population resides in regions of significant conformational flexibility. To support these conclusions, we present 13C and 15N cross-polarization with magic-angle-spinning (CPMAS) data in conjunction with "direct-polarization", nonspinning CP, and T1 measurements. 相似文献

The experimentally well‐known complexation of tin(II) and tin(IV) halides with pyridine (py) leads to structures showing N → Sn coordination. In the present work, the complexes SnXn·mpy (where X = F, Cl, Br, I; n = 2, 4; m = 1, 2) possessing this kind of coordination were studied using a computational quantum chemical approach. Various aspects in the theoretical picture of these complexes were examined to find similarities and differences in their N → Sn coordination. The aspects included, among others, the physical nature of intermolecular interactions, and their role in establishing the structure and energetic stabilization of the complexes. In this context, the effect of tin valency was inspected in great detail. As proven by several theoretical methods, a largely ionic character with a certain covalent component can be attributed to the studied N → Sn coordination, irrespective of tin valency. All complexes are destabilized by py‐py and three‐body interactions, but the Sn(II) complexes experience it to a greater extent. Marked differences are observed in the structural behavior of N → Sn and SnXn during complex formation. This affects the energetics of complexation and, in consequence, the penta‐coordinated Sn(IV) center shows a higher propensity to expand its coordination number, compared with the tri‐coordinated Sn(II) center. The present study supplements the experimental characterization of SnXn·mpy and, in general, it sheds light on the coordination of heteroaromatic nitrogen to tin. The survey of the Cambridge Structural Database revealed that such coordination occurred in a number of crystal structures. 相似文献

1H, 13C and 15N NMR studies of gold(III), palladium(II) and platinum(II) chloride complexes with dimethylpyridines (lutidines: 2,3‐lutidine, 2,3lut; 2,4‐lutidine, 2,4lut; 3,5‐lutidine, 3,5lut; 2,6‐lutidine, 2,6lut) and 2,4,6‐trimethylpyridine (2,4,6‐collidine, 2,4,6col) having general formulae [AuLCl3], trans‐[PdL2Cl2] and trans‐/cis‐[PtL2Cl2] were performed and the respective chemical shifts (δ1H, δ13C, δ15N) reported. The deshielding of protons and carbons, as well as the shielding of nitrogens was observed. The 1H, 13C and 15N NMR coordination shifts (Δ1Hcoord, Δ13Ccoord, Δ15Ncoord; Δcoord = δcomplex ? δligand) were discussed in relation to some structural features of the title complexes, such as the type of the central atom [Au(III), Pd(II), Pt(II)], geometry (trans‐ or cis‐), metal‐nitrogen bond lengths and the position of both methyl groups in the pyridine ring system. 1H, 13C, and 15N NMR studies of platinide(II) (M=Pd, Pt) chloride complexes with quinolines (L=quinoline-quin, or isoquinoline-isoquin; LL=2,2'-biquinoline-bquin), having the general formulae trans-/cis-[ML2Cl2] and [M(LL)Cl2], were performed and the respective chemical shifts (delta1H, delta13C, delta15N) reported. 1H coordination shifts of various signs and magnitudes (Delta1Hcoord=delta1Hcomplex-delta1Hligand) are discussed in relation to the changes of diamagnetic contribution to the relevant 1H shielding constants. The comparison to the literature data for similar complexes containing auxiliary ligands other than chlorides exhibited a large dependence of delta1H parameters on electron density variations and ring-current effects (inductive and anisotropic phenomena). The influence of deviations from planarity, concerning either MN2Cl2 chromophores or azine ring systems, revealed by the known X-ray structures of [Pd(bquin)Cl2] and [Pt(bquin)Cl2], is discussed in respect to 1H NMR spectra. 15N coordination shifts (Delta15Ncoord=delta15Ncomplex-delta15Nligand) of ca. 78-100 ppm (to lower frequency) are attributed mainly to the decrease of the absolute value of paramagnetic contribution in the relevant 15N shielding constants, this phenomenon being noticeably dependent on the type of a platinide metal and coordination sphere geometry. The absolute magnitude of Delta15Ncoord parameter increased by ca 15 ppm upon Pd(II)-->Pt(II) replacement but decreased by ca. 15 ppm following trans-->cis transition. Experimental 1H, 13C, 15N NMR chemical shifts are compared to those quantum-chemically calculated by B3LYP/LanL2DZ+6-31G**//B3LYP/LanL2DZ+6-31G*, both in vacuo and in CHCl3 or DMF solution. 相似文献

Au(III), Co(III) and Rh(III) chloride complexes with pyridine (py), 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy) and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) of the general formulae [M1LCl3], trans-[M2L4Cl2]+, mer-[M2L3Cl3], [M1(LL)Cl2]+, cis-[M2(LL)2Cl2]+, where M1=Au; M2=Co, Rh; L=py; LL=bpy, phen, were studied by 1H--13C HMBC and 1H--15N HMQC/HSQC. The 1H, 13C and 15N coordination shifts (the latter from ca-78 to ca-107 ppm) are discussed in relation to the type of metal, electron configuration, coordination sphere geometry and the type of ligand. The 13C and 15N chemical shifts were also calculated by quantum-chemical NMR methods, which reproduced well the experimental tendencies concerning the coordination sphere geometry and the ligand type. 相似文献
