Weak crossed biproducts and weak projections FERNP, NDEZ VILABOA Jose Manuel, GONZALEZ RODRiGUEZ Ramon ＆ RODRiGUEZ RAPOSO Ana Belen Abstract In this paper, we present the general theory and universal properties of weak crossed biproducts. We prove that every weak projection of weak bialgebras induces one of these weak crossed structures. Finally, we compute explicitly the weak crossed biproduct associated with a groupoid that admits an exact factorization.

Chebfun and numerical quadrature HALE Nicholas ＆ TREFETHEN Lloyd N Abstract Chebfun is a Matlab-based software system that overloads Matlab＇s discrete operations for vectors and matrices to analogous continuous operations for functions and operators. We begin by describing Chebfun＇s fast capabilities for Clenshaw-Curtis and also Gauss-Legendre, -Jacobi, -Hermite, and -Laguerre quadrature, based on algorithms of Waldvogel and Glaser, Liu and Rokhlin. Then we consider how such methods can be applied to quadrature problems including 2D integrals over rectangles, fractional derivatives and integrals, functions defined on unbounded intervals, and the fast computation of weights for barycentric interpolation.

Abstract In this paper we discuss the fundamental solution of the Keldysh type operator Lαu =△ δ^2u/δx^2＋yδ^2u/δy^2＋αδu/δy, which is a basic mixed type operator different from the Tricomi operator. The is obtained. It is shown that the fundamental solution of the Keldysh type operator with a 〉-1/2 fundamental solution for such an operator generally has stronger singularity than that for the Tricomi has to be operator. Particularly, the fundamental solution of the Keldysh type operator with a 〈1/2 defined by using the finite part of divergent integrals in the theory of distributions.
