c-Graded filiform Lie algebras

In this paper we generalize naturally graded filiform Lie algebras as well as filiform Lie algebras admitting a connected gradation of maximal length, by introducing the concept of c-graded complex filiform Lie algebras. We deal with the particular case of 3-graded filiform Lie algebras and we obtain their classification in arbitrary dimension. We finally show a link among derived algebras, graded filiform and rigid solvable Lie algebras.

Flat Nonunimodular Lorentzian Lie Algebras

A flat Lorentzian Lie algebra is a left symmetric algebra endowed with a symmetric bilinear form of signature (?, +,…, +) such that left multiplications are skew-symmetric. In geometrical terms, a flat Lorentzian Lie algebra is the Lie algebra of a Lie group with a left-invariant Lorentzian metric with vanishing curvature. In this article, we show that any flat nonunimodular Lorentzian Lie algebras can be obtained as a double extension of flat Riemannian Lie algebras. As an application, we give all flat nonunimodular Lorentzian Lie algebras up to dimension 4.     

Representations of four-derivation Lie algebras of Block type

Block introduced certain analogues of the Zassenhaus algebras over a field of characteristic 0. The nongraded infinite-dimensional simple Lie algebras of Block type constructed by Xu can be viewed as generalizations of the Block algebras. In this paper, we construct a family of irreducible modules in terms of multiplication and differentiation operators on ＂polynomials＂ for four-devivation nongraded Lie algebras of Block type based on the finite-dimensional irreducible weight modules with multiplicity one of general linear Lie algebras. We also find a new series of submodules from which some irreducible quotient modules are obtained.     

Embedding of Lie Algebras in Isogeneralized Structurable Algebras

In a previous paper, the first-named author introduced generalized structurable algebras, while the second-named author introduced the isotopies of Lie algebras. In this paper, we combine the two analyses, submit the notion of isogeneralized structural algebras, and show that they include Lie algebras, all their axiom-preserving generalizations of graded, supersymmetric or isotopic type, as well as numerous other algebras.     

Quotients of maximal class of thin lie algebras. the odd characteristic case

Among thin graded Lie algebras, which are particular instances of Lie algebras of finite width, there are many interesting objects, such as the graded Lie algebra associated to the Nottingham group. Among the factors of a thin algebra with respect to the terms of the lower central series, there is a greatest factor which is of maximal class. In thin Lie algebras associated to groups, this factor is metabelian.

In this paper we show that the same holds in general, provided the characteristic of the underlying field is odd. In another paper by the second author it is shown that this is not the case for characteristic two.     

The Core of a Locally Extended Affine Lie Algebra

Locally extended affine Lie algebras are a general version of extended affine Lie algebras. In this article, we completely describe the structure of the core of a locally extended affine Lie algebra. We prove that the core of a locally extended affine Lie algebra is a direct limit of Lie tori.     

A Generalization of Extended Affine Lie Algebras

We introduce a new class of possibly infinite dimensional Lie algebras and study their structural properties. Examples of this new class of Lie algebras are finite dimensional simple Lie algebras containing a nonzero split torus, affine and extended affine Lie algebras. Our results generalize well-known properties of these examples.

本文研究了含幺可换环上一般线性李代数的子代数结构.通过构造特殊矩阵并利用这些矩阵进行计算, 得到了任意含幺可换环上辛代数与一般线性李代数之间的所有中间李代数的形式.并且有利于研究可换环上相应的典型群的子群结构.     

与广义Cartan K型李代数有关的一类无限维李代数

本文主要引入了一类与广义Cartan K型李代数有关的无限维李代数,并讨论了 它的单性及任两个这类李代数的同构问题.     

Assosymmetric algebras under Jordan product

We prove that assosymmetric algebras under the Jordan product are Lie triple algebras. A Lie triple algebra is called special if it is isomorphic to a subalgebra of the plus-algebra of some assosymmetric algebra. We establish that the Glennie identity of degree 8 is valid for special Lie triple algebras, but not for all Lie triple algebras.     

Contact and Frobenius solvable Lie algebras with abelian nilradical

The aim of this work is to characterize the families of Frobenius (respectively, contact) solvable Lie algebras that satisfies the following condition: 𝔤 = 𝔥?V, where 𝔥?𝔤𝔩(V), |dim V?dim 𝔤|≤1 and NilRad(𝔤) = V, V being a finite dimensional vector space. In particular, it is proved that every complex Frobenius solvable Lie algebra is decomposable, whereas that in the real case there are only two indecomposable Frobenius solvable Lie algebras.     

N-point Virasoro algebras are multipoint Krichever–Novikov-type algebras

We show how the recently again discussed N-point Witt, Virasoro, and a?ne Lie algebras are genus zero examples of the multipoint versions of Krichever–Novikov-type algebras as introduced and studied by Schlichenmaier. Using this more general point of view, useful structural insights and an easier access to calculations can be obtained. The concept of almost-grading will yield information about triangular decompositions which are of importance in the theory of representations. As examples, the algebra of functions, vector fields, differential operators, current algebras, a?ne Lie algebras, Lie superalgebras, and their central extensions are studied. Very detailed calculations for the three-point case are given.     

Classification of three-dimensional zeropotent algebras over an algebraically closed field

A nonassociative algebra is defined to be zeropotent if the square of any element is zero. Zeropotent algebras are exactly the same as anticommutative algebras when the characteristic of the ground field is not two. The class of zeropotent algebras properly contains that of Lie algebras. In this paper, we give a complete classification of three-dimensional zeropotent algebras over an algebraically closed field of characteristic not equal to two. By restricting the result to the subclass of Lie algebras, we can obtain a classification of three-dimensional complex Lie algebras, which is in accordance with the conventional one.     

Heisenberg Lie Color Algebras

In this article, we give a sufficient condition for a Lie color algebra to be complete. The color derivation algebra Der(?) and the holomorph L of finite dimensional Heisenberg Lie color algebra ? graded by a torsion-free abelian group over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero are determined. We prove that Der(?) and Der(L) are simple complete Lie color algebras, but L is not a complete Lie color algebra.     

Direct Unions of Lie Tori (Realization of Locally Extended Affine Lie Algebras)

In this work, we consider realizations of locally extended affine Lie algebras, in the level of core modulo center. We provide a framework similar to the one for extended affine Lie algebras by “direct unions.” Our approach suggests that the direct union of existing realizations of extended affine Lie algebras, in a rigorous mathematical sense, would lead to a complete realization of locally extended affine Lie algebras, in the level of core modulo center. As an application of our results, we realize centerless cores of locally extended affine Lie algebras with specific root systems of types A₁, B, C, and BC.     

Twisted Hamiltonian Lie algebras and their multiplicity-free representations

We construct a class of new Lie algebras by generalizing the one-variable Lie algebras generated by the quadratic conformal algebras (or corresponding Hamiltonian operators) associated with Poisson algebras and a quasi-derivation found by Xu. These algebras can be viewed as certain twists of Xu’s generalized Hamiltonian Lie algebras. The simplicity of these algebras is completely determined. Moreover, we construct a family of multiplicity-free representations of these Lie algebras and prove their irreducibility.     

A specialization of prinjective Ringel-Hall algebra and the associated Lie algebra

In the present paper we describe a specialization of prinjective Ringel-Hall algebra to 1, for prinjective modules over incidence algebras of posets of finite prinjective type, by generators and relations. This gives us a generalisation of Serre relations for semisimple Lie algebras. Connections of prinjective Ringel-Hall algebras with classical Lie algebras are also discussed.
