The integrable XXZ alternating spin chain with generic non-diagonal boundary terms specified by the most general non-diagonal KK-matrices is studied via the off-diagonal Bethe Ansatz method. Based on the intrinsic properties of the fused RR-matrices and KK-matrices, we obtain certain closed operator identities and conditions, which allow us to construct an inhomogeneous T−QTQ relation and the associated Bethe Ansatz equations accounting for the eigenvalues of the transfer matrix.  相似文献

The Drinfeld twists or factorizing F-matrices for the open XXZ spin chain with non-diagonal boundary terms are constructed. It is shown that in the F-basis the two sets of pseudo-particle creation operators simultaneously take completely symmetric and polarization free form. The explicit and completely symmetric expressions of the two sets of Bethe states of the model are obtained.  相似文献

The thermodynamics of the spin-S anisotropic quantum XXZ chain with arbitrary value of S and unitary norm, in the high-temperature regime, is reported. The single-ion anisotropy term and the interaction with an external magnetic field in the z-direction are taken into account. We obtain, for arbitrary value of S, the β-expansion of the Helmholtz free energy of the model up to order β6 and show that it actually depends on . Its classical limit is obtained by simply taking S→∞. At h=0 and D=0, our high temperature expansion of the classical model coincides with Joyce’s exact solution [11]. We study, in the high temperature region, some thermodynamic quantities such as the specific heat and the magnetic susceptibility as functions of spin and verify for which values of S those thermodynamic functions behave classically. Their finite temperature behavior is inferred from interpolation of their high- and low-temperature behavior, and shown to be in good agreement with numerical results. The finite temperature behavior is shown for higher values of spin.  相似文献

We construct an integrable quantum spin chain that includes the nearest-neighbor, next-nearest-neighbor, chiral three-spin couplings, Dzyloshinsky-Moriya interactions and unparallel boundary magnetic fields. Although the interactions in bulk materials are isotropic, the spins nearby the boundary fields are polarized, which induce the anisotropic exchanging interactions of the first and last bonds. The U(1) symmetry of the system is broken because of the off-diagonal boundary reflections. Using the off-diagonal Bethe ansatz, we obtain an exact solution to the system. The inhomogeneous T-Q relation and Bethe ansatz equations are given explicitly. We also calculate the ground state energy. The method given in this paper provides a general way to construct new integrable models with certain interesting interactions.  相似文献

The spin current in the one-dimensional quantum XXZ spin chain is studied based on the exact solutions. It is found that the spin voltage controlled by the unparallel boundary magnetic fields can induce the pure longitudinal spin current in the system. By using Wiener–Hopf and generalized algebraic Bethe ansatz methods, the analytic expressions for the spin current and the spin conductance are obtained. The spin current is proportional to the inverse of the length of the spin chain. The magnitude of spin current can be manipulated by the strength and the twist angle of two boundary magnetic fields. The exact analysis also shows that there exist an Ohm law or London equation type relation between the spin current and the spin conductance.  相似文献

We consider the algebraic Bethe ansatz solution of the integrable and isotropic XXX-S Heisenberg chain with non-diagonal open boundaries. We show that the corresponding K-matrices are similar to diagonal matrices with the help of suitable transformations independent of the spectral parameter. When the boundary parameters satisfy certain constraints we are able to formulate the diagonalization of the associated double-row transfer matrix by means of the quantum inverse scattering method. This allows us to derive explicit expressions for the eigenvalues and the corresponding Bethe ansatz equations. We also present evidences that the eigenvectors can be build up in terms of multiparticle states for arbitrary S.  相似文献

An exact and explicit ladder-tensor-network ansatz is presented for the nonequilibrium steady state of an anisotropic Heisenberg XXZ spin-1/2 chain which is driven far from equilibrium with a pair of Lindblad operators acting on the edges of the chain only. We show that the steady-state density operator of a finite system of size n is-apart from a normalization constant-a polynomial of degree 2n - 2 in the coupling constant. Efficient computation of physical observables is facilitated in terms of a transfer operator reminiscent of a classical Markov process. In the isotropic case we find cosine spin profiles, 1/n(2) scaling of the spin current, and long-range correlations in the steady state. This is a fully nonperturbative extension of a recent result [Phys. Rev. Lett. 106, 217206 (2011)].  相似文献

The XXZ spin chain with a boundary magnetic field h is considered, using the vertex operator approach to diagonalize the hamiltonian. We find explicit bosonic formulas for the two vacuum vectors with zero particle content. There are three distinct regions when h ⩾ 0, in which the structure of the vacuum states is different. Excited states are given by the action of vertex operators on the vacuum states. We derive the boundary S-matrix and present an integral formula for the correlation functions. The boundary magnetization exhibits boundary hysteresis. We also discuss the rational limit, the XXX model.  相似文献

We provide the exact analytic solution of the stochastic Schr?dinger equation describing a harmonic oscillator interacting with a non-Markovian and dissipative environment. This result represents an arrival point in the study of non-Markovian dynamics via stochastic differential equations. It is also one of the few exactly solvable models for infinite-dimensional systems. We compute the Green's function; in the case of a free particle and with an exponentially correlated noise, we discuss the evolution of Gaussian wave functions.  相似文献

We study the physical properties of the XXX spin-1/2 chain with arbitrary non-diagonal boundary fields. By using a combination of numerical analysis and analytical method, we obtain the surface energy and elementary excitations of the model. It shows that the contributions of the two boundary fields to the surface energy are additive. We also find that there exists a kind of excitations related to the boundary string.  相似文献

An analytical method is developed to study the two-mode quantum Rabi model. For certain specific parameter conditions, especially for the resonant conditions, we obtain an infinite number of the exact solutions of the eigenfunctions and associated energies. It is shown that there exist new types of the exact energies which do not correspond to the level-crossings. Our analytical method may find applications in some related models.  相似文献

对于一般形式的含时线性势, 通过假设波函数形式的方法得到了Schr?dinger方程的精确和完备解. 同时指出, 用两个波函数φ(t)〉和ψ(t)〉定义的坐标和动量的矩阵元〈φ(t)xψ(t)〉和〈φ(t)pψ(t)〉满足经典形式的运动方程. 按照量子力学的系综理论, 这样的经典形式的运动方程实际上是流体方程. 进一步研究发现, 对于任意形式的线性系统有类似的结论. 关键词: 线性势 Schr?dinger方程 Heisenberg对应原理 经典运动方程  相似文献

With the help of the F-basis provided by the Drinfeld twist or factorizing F-matrix of the eight-vertex solid-on-solid (SOS) model, we obtain the determinant representations of the scalar products of Bethe states for the open XYZ chain with non-diagonal boundary terms.
