Reaction of acyl isocyanates with pyridine derivatives

Conclusions Trichloroacetyl isocyanate reacts with 2- and 4-picolines to form substituted trichloroacetylamidates. Benzoyl isocyanate forms a dimer in the presence of picolines. Mechanism of reactions of acyl isocyanates with azomethines

A New and Convenient Synthesis of Substituted Acylthioacylureas. Reaction of aryl and alkyl thioamides with acyl isocyanates

The addition of acyl isocyanates to a solution of aryl and alkyl thioamides affords substituted acylthioacylureas. The IR. spectra of substituted acylthioacylureas is described.     

Research on acyl isocyanates and their derivatives

1-Substituted benzimidazolinethiones, 3-substituted 1-acylbenzimidazolinethiones, and acyl thiobiurets, respectively, are formed in the reaction of acyl, alkyl, and aryl isocyanates with benzimidazolinethione, its 1-acyl derivatives, and thiourea. Reaction of isocyanates with pyrazol-5-ones

Treatment of mono- and diisocyanates with 3-methyl-4-alkyl(aryl)pyrazol-5-ones by heating in absolute dioxane gives the corresponding 1-carbamoylpyrazol-5-ones.
