The Antimonide Triantimonidometallates(III) Cs6K3Sb[AlSb3] and Cs6K3Sb[GaSb3] The novel compounds Cs6K3Sb[AlSb3] and Cs6K3Sb[GaSb3] are formed from stoichiometric mixtures of Cs, AlSb (GaSb) and KSb in sealed niobium ampoules at 950 K. The hexagonal structures are especially characterized by one-dimensional rod packings 1∞[Cs6K3Sb] which are formed from columns of condensed (Cs6K6/2) icosahedra. The icosahedra are centered by Sb3-? anions. The trigonal planar anions [AlSb3]6-? and [GaSb3]6-? are embedded between the icosahedra columns, and they are coordinated by alkali metal atoms. The FIR spectra were assigned to the vibrations of the [MSb3]6-? anions, with respect to the 6 m2-D3h symmetry. Alkaline Molybdotellurates: Preparation and Crystal Structures of Rb6[TeMo6O24] · 10H2O and Rb6[TeMo6O24] · Te(OH)6 · 6H2O Single crystals of Rb6[TeMo6O24] · 10 H2O and Rb6[TeMo6O24] · Te(OH)6 · 6 H2O, respectively, were grown from aqueous solution. Rb6[TeMo6O24] · 10 H2O possesses the space group P1 . The lattice dimensions are a = 963.40(13), b = 972.56(12), c = 1 056.18(13) pm, α = 97.556(10), β = 113.445(9), γ = 102.075(10)°; Z = 1, 2 860 reflections, 215 parameters refined, Rg = 0.0257. The centrosymmetrical [TeMo6O24]6? anions are stacked parallel to [010]. Rb(2) is coordinated with one exception by water molecules only. Folded chains consisting of [TeMo6O24]6? anions and Rb(2) coordination polyhedra which are linked to pairs represent the prominent structural feature. Rb6[TeMo6O24] · Te(OH)6 · 6 H2O crystallizes monoclinically in the space group C2/c with a = 1 886.4(3), b = 1 000.9(1), c = 2 126.5(3) pm, and β = 115.90(1)°; Z = 4, 3 206 reflections, 240 parameters refined, Rg = 0.0333. It is isostructural in high extent with (NH4)6[TeMo6O24] · Te(OH)6 · 7 H2O. Hydrogen bonds between Te(OH)6 molecules and [TeMo6O24]6? anions establish infinite strands. The [TeMo6O24]6? anions gather around Te(OH)6 providing channel-like voids extending parallel to [001].  相似文献

New Metal Oxides with Doubles of Tetrahedra as Building Units: Rb6[Tl2O6] and Cs6[In2O6] We prepared the hitherto unknown Rb6[Tl2O6] and Cs6[In2O6] by heating mixtures of Tl2O3 and RbO0.60 (Rb:Tl = 3.5:1) as well as In2O3 and CsO0.53 (Cs:In = 3.5:1) as single crystals [closed Ag-cylinder, 650°C, 14 d]. The single crystals of Rb6[Tl2O6] are yellow, those of Cs6[In2O6] pale yellow, all transparent and rude. The new type of structure was elucidated by 4-circle-diffractometer (PW 1100) data. Synthesis, Structure, and Vibrational Spectra of the Oxofluorotungstates(VI) Cs2[WO3F2] and Cs3[W2O4F7] Cs2[WO3F2] crystallizes from a melt with the same composition. The orthorhombic unit cell with a = 6.779(2), b = 7.668(1) and c = 11.626(3) Å, space group Pn21a, contains 4 formula units. The WO3F22? anion is polymer, W octahedrally coordinated according to the results of the X-ray crystal structure determination. Planar dioxodifluoro groups are linked into chains by oxygen atoms. The lengths of the W? O bonds are alternating. Cs3[W2O4F7] crystallizes trigonal, space group P3 m1, with a = 21.118(4) and c = 8.434(2) Å, Z = 9. The structure consists of two sets of crystallographically non equivalent dimeric anions with the formula [O2F3W? F? WO2F3]3?. Part of the ligand atoms are disordered. The vibrational spectra of both compounds show the presence of cis-dioxo groups of the terminal ligands.  相似文献

Preparation of Crystal Structure of K6[Al2O6] and Rb6[Al2O6] Colourless single crystals of K6[Al2O6] have been prepared from intimate mixtures of KAlO2 and K2O (550°C, 90 d). The structure determination from four-circle diffractometer data (MoKα , 742 Io(hkl), R = 2.2%, Rw = 2.1%) confirms the space group C2/m with Z = 2; a = 698.25 pm, b = 1 103.54 pm, c = 646.49 pm, β = 102.49°. Colourless single crystals of hitherto unknown Rb6[Al2O6] have been prepared from intimate mixtures of RbAlO2 and Rb2O (520°C, 120 d). The structure determination from four-circle diffractometer data (MoKα , 1 240 Io(hkl)) results in the residual values R = 7.2%, Rw = 4.9%; space group C2/m; a = 725.92 pm, b = 1 143.33 pm, c = 678.06 pm, β = 104.05°; Z = 2. K6[Al2O6] and Rb6[Al2O6] are isostructural with K6[Fe2O6]. A characteristic structure unit is the anion [Al2O6]6? consisting of two edge-sharing [AlO4] tetrahedra. Effective Coordination Numbers (ECoN), Mean Fictive Ionic Radii (MEFIR), the Madelung Part of Lattice Energy (MAPLE) and the Charge Distribution (CHARDI) are calculated and discussed.  相似文献

Rb6LiPr11Cl16[SeO3]12: A Chloride‐Derivatized Rubidium Lithium Praseodymium(III) Oxoselenate(IV) Transparent green square platelets with often truncated edges and corners of Rb6LiPr11Cl16[SeO3]12 were obtained by the reaction of elemental praseodymium, praseodymium(III,IV) oxide and selenium dioxide with an eutectic LiCl–RbCl flux at 500 °C in evacuated silica ampoules. A single crystal of the moisture and air insensitive compound was characterized by X‐ray diffraction single‐crystal structure analysis. Rb6LiPr11Cl16[SeO3]12 crystallizes tetragonally in the space group I4/mcm (no. 140; a = 1590.58(6) pm, c = 2478.97(9) pm, c/a = 1.559; Z = 4). The crystal structure is characterized by two types of layers parallel to the (001) plane following the sequence 121′2′1. Cl? anions form cubes around the Rb+ cations (Rb1 and Rb2; CN = 8; d(Rb+?Cl?) = 331 – 366 pm) within the first layer. One quarter of the possible places for Rb+ cations within this CsCl‐type kind of arrangement is not occupied, however the Cl? anions of these vacancies are connected to Pr3+ cations (Pr4) above and below instead, forming square antiprisms of [(Pr4)O4Cl4]9? units (d(Pr4?O) = 247–249 pm; d(Pr4?Cl) = 284–297 pm) that work as links between layer 1 and 2. Central cations of the second layer consist of Li+ and Pr3+. While the Li+ cations are surrounded by eight O2? anions (d(Li?O5) = 251 pm) in the shape of cubes again, the Pr3+ cations are likewisely coordinated by eight O2? anions as square antiprisms (for Pr1, d(Pr1?O2) = 242 pm) and by ten O2? anions (for Pr2 and Pr3), respectively. The latter form tetracapped trigonal antiprisms (Pr2, d(Pr2?O) = 251–253 pm and 4 × 262 pm) or bicapped distorted cubes (Pr3, d(Pr3?O) = 245–259 pm and 2 × 279 pm). The non‐binding electron pairs (“lone pairs”) at the two crystallographically different Ψ1‐tetrahedral [SeO3]2? anions (d(Se4+?O2?) = 169–173 pm) are directing towards the empty cavities between the layer‐connecting [(Pr4)O4Cl4]9? units.  相似文献

Two Chloride Silicates of Yttrium: Y3Cl[SiO4]2 and Y6Cl10[Si4O12] The chloride‐poor yttrium(III) chloride silicate Y3Cl[SiO4]2 crystallizes orthorhombically (a = 685.84(4), b = 1775.23(14), c = 618.65(4) pm; Z = 4) in space group Pnma. Single crystals are obtained by the reaction of Y2O3, YCl3 and SiO2 in the stoichiometric ratio 4 : 1 : 6 with ten times the molar amount of YCl3 as flux in evacuated silica tubes (7 d, 1000 °C) as colorless, strongly light‐reflecting platelets, insensitive to air and water. The crystal structure contains isolated orthosilicate units [SiO4]4– and comprises cationic layers {(Y2)Cl}2+ which are alternatingly piled parallel (010) with anionic double layers {(Y1)2[SiO4]2}2–. Both crystallographic different Y3+ cations exhibit coordination numbers of eight. Y1 is surrounded by one Cl and 7 O2– anions as a distorted trigonal dodecahedron, whereas the coordination polyhedra around Y2 show the shape of bicapped trigonal prisms consisting of 2 Cl and 6 O2– anions. The chloride‐rich chloride silicate Y6Cl10[Si4O12] crystallizes monoclinically (a = 1061,46(8), b = 1030,91(6), c = 1156,15(9) pm, β = 103,279(8)°; Z = 2) in space group C2/m. By the reaction of Y2O3, YCl3 and SiO2 in 2 : 5 : 6‐molar ratio with the double amount of YCl3 as flux in evacuated silica tubes (7 d, 850 °C), colorless, air‐ and water‐resistant, brittle single crystals emerge as pseudo‐octagonal columns. Here also a layered structure parallel (001) with distinguished cationic double‐layers {(Y2)5Cl9}6+ and anionic layers {(Y1)Cl[Si4O12]}6– is present. The latter ones contain discrete cyclo‐tetrasilicate units [Si4O12]8– of four cyclically corner‐linked [SiO4] tetrahedra in all‐ecliptical arrangement. The coordination sphere around (Y1)3+ (CN = 8) has the shape of a slightly distorted hexagonal bipyramid comprising 2 Cl and 6 O2– anions. The 5 Cl and 2 O2– anions building the coordination polyhedra around (Y2)3+ (CN = 7) form a strongly distorted pentagonal bipyramid.  相似文献

A New Oxouranate(VI): K2Li4[UO6]. With a Remark about Rb2Li4[UO6] and Cs2Li4[UO6] For the first time K2Li4UO6 has been prepared by an exchange reaction of α-Li6UO6 with K2O [K:U = 2.0:1, sealed au-tube; 750°C; 30 d single crystals; 680°C, 10 d powder]. The irregular shaped single crystals, which are of yellow color and sensitive to moisture crystallize in P3 m1 (Z = 1) with a = 619.27(5), c = 533.76(6) pm. The structure determination (PW 1100, AgKα R = 4.80%, Rw = 4.81% for 220 unique reflexions) reveals a new type of structure. The characteristic elements are the isolated group [UO6] and the C.N. = 12 for K+. While Li(1) has a nearly regular square of 4 O2? as coordination polyhedron, Li(2) is octahedrally surrounded. The Madelung Part of Lattice Energy (MAPLE) is calculated and discussed. In addition to K2Li4[UO6] the new oxides Rb2Li4[UO6] and Cs2Li4[UO6] are prepared as pale yellow powders which are little sensitive to moisture (both: au-tube, 680°C, 10 d). According to powder datas both compounds are isotypic with K2Li4[UO6] [Rb2Li4[UO6]: a = 622.91(5), c = 535.93(6) pm; Cs2Li4[UO6]: a = 626.70(6), c = 539.92(6) pm].  相似文献

On TiF3 and Hexafluorotitanates(III): Cs2K[TiF6] and Rb2K[TiF6], with a remark on Rb3[TiF6] By “redox-reaction with the wall” according to A2B[CuF6] + Ti = A2B[TiF6] + Cu we obtained for the first time single crystals of the Hexafluorotitanates(III). The violett irregular single crystals of Cs2K[TiF6] (a = 9.115 Å) and Rb2K[TiF6] (a = 8.910 Å) crystalise in accordance with the single-crystal studies as supposed in spcgrp. O-Fm3m No. 225. Dark blue crystals of TiF3 crystalises in the VF3-Typ. Parameters see text. TiF3 (3.9–251.3 K) and Rb3[TiF6] (3.8–251.3 K) have been measured magnetically. The madelung part of lattice energy, MAPLE, and the effective coordination number, ECoN, via the mean fictive ionic radii, MEFIR, are calculated and discussed.  相似文献

A New Type of Oxotellurates (VI): Rb6[TeO5] [TeO4] For the first time single crystals of Rb6Te2O9 was obtained by annealing intimate mixtures of the binary oxides (closed Ag-cylinder in supremax-glass ampoule, 680°C, 45 d). The structure elucidation (four-circle diffractometer, AgKα, 2083 I0(hkl); R = 9.5%, Rw = 6.6%) confirms the space group C2/c with a = 1207.5(7), b = 1266.3(5), c = 1105.3(6) pm, β = 123.1(1)0, Z = 4 (Guinier-Simon photographs). Characteristic for this structure are ?isolated”? trigonal bipyramidal groups of [TeO5] and ?isolated”? tetrahedral groups of [TeO4], so we prefere to name the new compound Rb6[TeO5][TeO4]. The Madelung Part of Lattice Energy, MAPLE, and Effective Coordination Numbers, ECoN, the latter derived from Mean Fictive Ionic Radii, MEFIR, are calculated and discussed.  相似文献

Sm4S3[Si2O7] and NaSm9S2[SiO4]6: Two Sulfide Silicates with Trivalent Samarium The sulfide silicates Sm4S3[Si2O7] and NaSm9S2[SiO4]6 are obtained as light yellow transparent crystals by the reaction of Sm, Sm2O3, S, and SiO2 with fluxing SmCl3 or NaCl, respectively, in suitable molar ratios in fused evacuated silica tubes (850 °C, 7 d). Tetragonal crystals of Sm4S3[Si2O7] (I41/amd; Z = 8; a = 1186.4(1); c = 1387.0(2) pm) with ecliptically conformed [Si2O7]6–‐groups of corner sharing [SiO4]‐tetrahedra are formed. These double tetrahedra as well the sulfide anions (S2–) coordinate two crystallographically independent metal cations. They provide coordination numbers of 8 + 1 (5 S2– and 3 + 1 O2–) for Sm1 and 9 (3 S2– and 6 O2–) for Sm2. NaSm9S2[SiO4]6 crystallizes hexagonally (P63/m; Z = 1; a = 975.32(9); c = 676.46(7) pm) in a modified bromapatite‐type structure. The coordination spheres about the two crystallographically different Sm3+ cations are built up by oxygen atoms of the orthosilicate units ([SiO4]4–) and sulfide anions (S2–). As a result, Sm1 and Sm2 have coordination numbers of 9 and 8, respectively. Na+ and (Sm1)3+ occupy the position 4 f in a molar ratio of 1 : 3 whereas the lower coordinated (Sm2)3+ occupies the 6 h position.  相似文献

The crystal structure of K6 Hgs4 is elucidated by using diffractometer data of single crystals: P63mc, C46v, it is R = 6.6% for 304 reflexes [h k o–h k 4, anisotropic refinement MoKα]; for position and parameters see text d = 2.835, dpyk = 2.99 g · cm?3. The Madelung Part of Lattice Energy, MAPLE, and Effective Coordination Numbers, ECoN, are calculated and discussed.  相似文献
