The existence of a thermodynamic limit of the distribution of Liapunov exponents is numerically verified in a large class of symplectic models, ranging from Hamiltonian flows to maps and products of random matrices. In the highly chaotic regime this distribution is approximately model-independent. Near an integrable limit only a few exponents give a relevant contribution to the Kolmogorov-Sinai entropy.  相似文献

We study the dynamical scattering in one-dimensional systems with a nonlinear side-coupled defect. Such structures exhibit the nonlinear Fano resonances, where nothing can propagate through. We developed a numerical model to study dynamical scattering. According to our analysis the scattering waves become dynamically unstable in the vicinity of the nonlinear Fano resonances, due to modulational instability caused by the presence of nonlinearity. It results in a time-growing amplitude of the nonlinear defect. We also demonstrate the existence of the nonlinear quasi-localized state, supported by such structures.  相似文献

对于一类同时存在扩散耦合和梯度耦合的非线性振子系统, 通过空间傅里叶变换,得到具有不同波矢的各运动模式的相互独立的运动方程. 计算各横截模的Lyapunov指数, 可在耦合参数平面上确定同步混沌的稳定区域. 在稳定区域边界, 一对共轭横截模式失稳,导致同步混沌的Hopf分岔. 对耦合Lorenz振子系统进行了数值模拟,并设计了耦合Lorenz振子系统的电路, 进行耦合振子系统同步混沌Hopf分岔的电路仿真实验. 计算和仿真的结果表明,Hopf分岔的特征频率等于失稳横截模式的振荡频率. 关键词: 耦合非线性振子 同步混沌 横截模式 电路仿真  相似文献

在同时考虑多信号输入和相对论效应的情况下,利用波导激励理论获得了行波管中慢电磁行波与电子注非线性互作用的全三维自洽工作方程组,包括激发方程、运动方程、能量转化方程、相位演化方程等,适合大部分行波管中慢电磁行波与电子注的非线性互作用过程.利用该理论具体分析了一个宽带螺旋线行波管在多信号输入时的交叉调制,并与实验结果进行了比较,验证了理论和计算的正确性.另外,还模拟了一个相对论盘荷波导行波管中的非线性注波互作用过程. 关键词: 行波管 慢电磁行波 非线性注波互作用 交叉调制  相似文献

A previous conjecture by the authors about a new regime of Arnold diffusion with a power-law dependence of the diffusion rate on perturbation strength is confirmed by detailed theoretical evaluation. A new effect of slow (logarithmic) dependence of the power-law exponent on the perturbation parameter is conjectured. The theory developed seems to allow for a new interpretation of the recent extensive numerical experiments on Arnold diffusion in a particular many-dimensional model of Kaneko and Konishi even in the presence of some global chaos.  相似文献

We study an integrable modification of the focusing nonlinear Schrödinger equation from the point of view of semiclassical asymptotics. In particular, (i) we establish several important consequences of the mixed-type limiting quasilinear system including the existence of maps that embed the limiting forms of both the focusing and defocusing nonlinear Schrödinger equations into the framework of a single limiting system for the modified equation, (ii) we obtain bounds for the location of the discrete spectrum for the associated spectral problem that are particularly suited to the semiclassical limit and that generalize known results for the spectrum of the nonselfadjoint Zakharov-Shabat spectral problem, and (iii) we present a multiparameter family of initial data for which we solve the associated spectral problem in terms of special functions for all values of the semiclassical scaling parameter. We view our results as part of a broader project to analyze the semiclassical limit of the modified nonlinear Schrödinger equation via the noncommutative steepest descent procedure of Deift and Zhou, and we also present a selfcontained development of a Riemann-Hilbert problem of inverse scattering that differs from those given in the literature and that is well adapted to semiclassical asymptotics.  相似文献

Data obtained from the mobile SOUSY VHF radar at And(ya/Norway in summer 1987 have been used to study the nonlinear interactions between planetary waves, tides and gravity waves in the polar mesosphere, and the instability of background atmosphere above the mesopause. It is observed that 35-h planetary wave, diurnal, semidiurnal and terdiurnal tides are the prominent perturbations in the Lomb-Scargle spectra of the zonal wind component. By inspecting the frequency combinations, several triads are identified. By bispectral analysis it is shown that most bispectral peaks stand for quadratic coupling between tidal harmonics or between tide and planetary or gravity wave, and the height dependence of bispectral peaks reflects the variation of wave-wave interactions. Above the mesopause, the occurrence heights of the maximum L-S power spectral peaks corresponding to the prominent wave components tend to increase with their frequencies. This may result from the process in which two low frequency waves interact to generate a high frequency wave. Intensities of the planetary wave and tides increase gradually, arrive at their maxima, and then decay quickly in turn with increasing height. This kind of scene correlates with a "chain" of wave-wave resonant interactions that shifts with height from lower frequency segment to higher frequency segment. By instability analysis, it is observed that above the mesopause, the Richardson number becomes smaller and smaller with height, implying that the turbulent motion grows stronger and stronger and accordingly the background atmosphere more and more instable. It is suggested that the wave-wave sum resonant interaction and the wave dissipation due to instability are two dominant dynamical processes that occur in the mesopause region. The former invokes the energy transfer from lower frequency waves to higher frequency waves. The latter results in the heating of the atmosphere and accelerating of the background flow.  相似文献

In this paper, we present the elementary principles of nonlinear quantum mechanics (NLQM), which is based on some problems in quantum mechanics. We investigate in detail the motion laws and some main properties of microscopic particles in nonlinear quantum systems using these elementary principles. Concretely speaking, we study in this paper the wave-particle duality of the solution of the nonlinear Schr?dinger equation, the stability of microscopic particles described by NLQM, invariances and conservation laws of motion of particles, the Hamiltonian principle of particle motion and corresponding Lagrangian and Hamilton equations, the classical rule of microscopic particle motion, the mechanism and rules of particle collision, the features of reflection and the transmission of particles at interfaces, and the uncertainty relation of particle motion as well as the eigenvalue and eigenequations of particles, and so on. We obtained the invariance and conservation laws of mass, energy and momentum and angular momentum for the microscopic particles, which are also some elementary and universal laws of matter in the NLQM and give further the methods and ways of solving the above questions. We also find that the laws of motion of microscopic particles in such a case are completely different from that in the linear quantum mechanics (LQM). They have a lot of new properties; for example, the particles possess the real wave-corpuscle duality, obey the classical rule of motion and conservation laws of energy, momentum and mass, satisfy minimum uncertainty relation, can be localized due to the nonlinear interaction, and its position and momentum can also be determined, etc. From these studies, we see clearly that rules and features of microscopic particle motion in NLQM is different from that in LQM. Therefore, the NLQM is a new physical theory, and a necessary result of the development of quantum mechanics and has a correct representation of describing microscopic particles in nonlinear systems, which can solve problems disputed for about a century by scientists in the LQM field. Hence, the NLQM built is very necessary and correct. The NLQM established can promote the development of physics and can enhance and raise the knowledge and recognition levels to the essences of microscopic matter. We can predict that nonlinear quantum mechanics has extensive applications in physics, chemistry, biology and polymers, etc.   相似文献

基于非线性动力系统混沌运动的回归特性,构造了一种对分岔图中穿过混沌区的暗线进行研究的数值回归算法。运用该算法求得抛物线映射的暗线,并与通过暗线方程精确求得的暗线进行比较,验证了算法的有效性。对Brussel振子系统和分段线性单级齿轮动力系统的暗线进行了研究。通过对非线性动力系统分岔图中暗线的研究,由其切点可以得到嵌在混沌区中的周期窗口,由其交点可以得到混沌吸引子的激变点。研究结果表明该算法有助于分析系统的动力学行为和控制混沌运动。  相似文献

The Saffman-Taylor viscous fingering instability occurs when a less viscous fluid displaces a more viscous one between narrowly spaced parallel plates in a Hele-Shaw cell. Experiments in radial flow geometry form fan-like patterns, in which fingers of different lengths compete, spread and split. Our weakly nonlinear analysis of the instability predicts these phenomena, which are beyond the scope of linear stability theory. Finger competition arises through enhanced growth of sub-harmonic perturbations, while spreading and splitting occur through the growth of harmonic modes. Nonlinear mode-coupling enhances the growth of these specific perturbations with appropriate relative phases, as we demonstrate through a symmetry analysis of the mode coupling equations. We contrast mode coupling in radial flow with rectangular flow geometry.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce bifurcation theory into complex nonlinear systems. We adopt a novel approach to identify faults in electric circuit systems. After accidents occur without warning, with large numbers of complicated and high-precision calculations, we use bifurcation results of corresponding amplitude and frequency (period) to analyze their universal characteristics. Based on super attractive parameters, we have got the universal constant 4.6692… . The results from the present investigation imply that each fault in an electric circuit system must correspond to one or more bifurcation locations, which will provide a bifurcation criterion of faults in complex nonlinear systems. This research will have a significant theoretical value and engineering practical significance.  相似文献

基于非线性光纤环镜(NOLM)的脉冲压缩特性,分析了NOLM在基于受激布里渊散射(SBS)慢光级联系统中对延迟脉冲的影响.利用环形结构来模拟多次级联,有效地降低了系统的复杂度,得到了在不同抽运光功率和级联次数下脉冲的延迟输出特性.理论分析表明,NOLM可以有效地抑制SBS慢光级联系统中延迟脉冲的展宽,抽运光功率决定了展宽因子的变化趋势及最终稳定值的大小,展宽因子在级联4次时趋于稳定值,恰当选取抽运光功率可实现脉冲的零展宽延迟;改变抽运光功率和级联次数可以实现延迟量的连续可调,且延迟量理论上不受限制;增大抽 关键词: 慢光 脉冲压缩 非线性光纤环镜 受激布里渊散射  相似文献

In this Letter, to further understand the role of nonlinear dispersion in coupled nonlinear wave systems in both real and complex fields, we study the coupled Klein–Gordon equations with nonlinear dispersion in real field (called CKG(m,n,k)CKG(m,n,k) equation) and (2+1)(2+1)-dimensional generalization of coupled nonlinear Schrödinger equation with nonlinear dispersion in complex field (called GCNLS(m,n,k)GCNLS(m,n,k) equation) via some transformations. As a consequence, some types of solutions are obtained, which contain compactons, solitary pattern solutions, envelope compacton solutions, envelope solitary pattern solutions, solitary wave solutions and rational solutions.  相似文献

The short parton production phase in high‐energy heavy‐ion collisions is treated analytically as a nonlinear diffusion process. The initial buildup of the rapidity density distributions of produced charged hadrons within τp? 0.25 fm/c occurs in three sources during the colored partonic phase. In a two‐step approach, the subsequent diffusion in pseudorapidity space during the interaction time of τint? 7‐10 fm/c (mean duration of the collision) is essentially linear as expressed in the Relativistic Diffusion Model (RDM) which yields excellent agreement with the data at RHIC energies, and allows for predictions at LHC energies. Results for d+Au are discussed in detail.  相似文献

We consider a modified Noguchi network and study the impact of the nonlinear quadratic dispersion on the dynamics of modulated waves. In the semi-discrete limit, we show that the dynamics of these waves are governed by a nonlinear cubic Schrodinger equation. From the graphical analysis of the coefficients of this equation, it appears that the nonlinear quadratic dispersion counterbalances the effects of the linear dispersion in the frequency domain. Moreover, we establish that this nonlinear quadratic dispersion provokes the disappearance of some regions of modulational instability in the dispersion curve compared to the results earlier obtained by Pelap et al.(Phys. Rev. E 91 022925(2015)). We also find that the nonlinear quadratic dispersion limit considerably affects the nature, stability, and characteristics of the waves which propagate through the system. Furthermore, the results of the numerical simulations performed on the exact equations describing the network are found to be in good agreement with the analytical predictions.  相似文献

The variational approximation is a well known tool to approximate localized states in nonlinear systems. In the context of a discrete nonlinear Schrödinger equation with a small coupling constant, we prove error estimates for the variational approximations of site-symmetric, bond-symmetric, and twisted discrete solitons. This is shown for various trial configurations, which become increasingly more accurate as more parameters are taken. It is also shown that the variational approximation yields the correct spectral stability result and controls the oscillatory dynamics of stable discrete solitons for long but finite time intervals.  相似文献
