Mazur Sets in Normed Spaces

In this paper we investigate different questions concerning Mazur sets in normed spaces, which point out the close connections between geometric functional analysis and discrete geometry. Motivated by a result of Chen and Lin, we study the relationship between Mazur disks and weak* denting points of the dual unit ball. We prove that the only Mazur sets of the spaces l₁ⁿ are points and closed balls. Finally, a new stability property for the family of all sets which are intersections of closed balls is found.     

随机结构空间理论初探

提出了随机结构空间的概念，引出了随机拓扑空间、随机度量空间、随机赋范空间、随机内积空间、随机关系等随机数学结构的概念，初步研究了随机度量空间、随机赋范空间、随机内积空间的基本构造以及与概率度量空间、概率赋范空间、概率内积空间的关系。     

随机模糊集与随机集

本文研究了三个方面的工作：一是定义了一种模糊集上的可测结构，从而定义了随机模糊集，这些定义都与论域Ｘ上的拓扑结构无关。将通常意义下的集合看成特殊模糊集得到的通常集合上的超可测结构与文（３）中的定义一致；二是给出了随机模糊集、随机集的一些等价条件；三是研究了随机模糊集、随机集的分布与其有限维落影族的关系。

Convex Sets in Acyclic Digraphs

A non-empty set X of vertices of an acyclic digraph is called connected if the underlying undirected graph induced by X is connected and it is called convex if no two vertices of X are connected by a directed path in which some vertices are not in X. The set of convex sets (connected convex sets) of an acyclic digraph D is denoted by and its size by co(D) (cc(D)). Gutin et al. (2008) conjectured that the sum of the sizes of all convex sets (connected convex sets) in D equals Θ(n · co(D)) (Θ(n · cc(D))) where n is the order of D. In this paper we exhibit a family of connected acyclic digraphs with and . We also show that the number of connected convex sets of order k in any connected acyclic digraph of order n is at least n − k + 1. This is a strengthening of a theorem of Gutin and Yeo.     

New Representation Formula for Convex Functions on Separable Normed Spaces

We derive a new representation formula for lower-semicontinuous convex functions on separable normed spaces. As a consequence of this formula, we obtain a C -approximation method for convex functions which are not necessarily differentiable.
