Reactions of the elastic breakup of loosely bound light nuclei are investigated in the scope of the distorted wave Born approximation, with deuterium breakup reactions used as an example. Some drawbacks of this approximation in calculating the breakup amplitude in the prior form are shown and their causes analyzed. We propose eliminating the drawbacks by employing a modified nucleus-nucleus potential in calculating the distorted wave functions of scattering in the exit reaction channel. 在Greenberg-Hasting元胞自动机模型中引入了正常元胞和老化元胞,并规定只有老化元胞存在早期后除极化现象且早期后除极化可以激发其他元胞.在正常元胞和老化元胞均匀分布的情况下,研究了早期后除极化对螺旋波演化行为的影响,重点探讨了早期后除极化导致的螺旋波破碎方式.数值模拟结果表明:早期后除极化在比率约为26.4%的少数情况下不对螺旋波产生影响,在其他情况下则会对螺旋波产生各种影响,包括使螺旋波漫游、漂移、波臂发生形变以及导致螺旋波破碎和消失等.观察到早期后除极化通过传导障碍消失和通过转变为反靶波消失,早期后除极化导致螺旋波破碎有8种方式,包括非对称破缺导致的破碎、对称破缺导致的破碎、同时激发双波导致的破碎、非对称激发导致的破碎、整体传导障碍导致的破碎、整体快速破碎等.分析发现这些螺旋波破碎现象都与早期后除极化产生回火波有关,得到螺旋波破碎的总比率通常约为13.8%,但是在适当选取老化元胞密度和早期后除极化的激发下,螺旋波破碎比率可达到32.4%,这些结果与心律失常致死的统计结果基本一致,本文对产生这些现象的物理机理做了简要分析.  相似文献

Rotating spiral waves have been observed in a variety of nonlinear biological and physical systems. Spiral waves are found in excitable and oscillatory systems and can be stationary, meander, or even degenerate into multiple unstable rotating waves (a process called "spiral wave breakup"). In the heart, spiral wave breakup is thought to be the underlying mechanism of cardiac fibrillation. The spatiotemporal complexity of multiple unstable spiral waves is difficult to control or terminate. Here, the mechanisms of the termination of spiral wave breakup in response to global stimulation are investigated. A modified Fitzhugh-Nagumo model was used to represent cellular kinetics to study the role of the fast (activation) and slow (recovery) variables. This simplified model allows a theoretical analysis of the termination of spiral wave breakup via both short and long duration pulses. Simulations were carried out in both two-dimensional sheets and in a three-dimensional geometry of the heart ventricles. The short duration pulses affected only the fast variable and acted to reset wave propagation. Monophasic pulses excited tissue ahead of the wave front thus reducing the amount of excitable tissue. Biphasic shocks did the same, but they also acted to generate new wave fronts from the pre-existing wave tails by making some active regions excitable. Thus, if the short duration stimuli were strong enough, they acted to fill in excitable tissue via propagating wave fronts and terminated all activity. The long duration wave forms were selected such that they had a frequency spectrum similar to that of the pseudoelectrocardiograms recorded during fibrillation. These long duration wave forms affected both the recovery and activation variables, and the mechanism of unstable multiple spiral wave termination was different compared to the short duration wave forms. If the long duration stimuli were strong enough, they acted to alter the "state" (i.e., combination of fast and slow variables) of the tissue throughout 1.5 cycles, thus "conditioning" the tissue such that by the end of the stimuli almost no excitable tissue remained. The peak current, total energy, and average power of stimuli required to terminate spiral wave breakup were less for the long duration wave forms compared to the short duration wave forms. In addition, closed loop feedback via stimulation with a wave form that was the difference of the pseudoelectrocardiogram and a strongly periodic chaotic signal was successful at terminating spiral wave breakup. These results suggest that it may be possible to improve cardiac defibrillation efficacy by using long duration wave forms to affect recovery variables in the heart as opposed to the traditional brief duration wave forms that act only on the fast variables. 为了研究液体横向射流在气膜作用下的破碎过程,采用背景光成像技术及VOF TO DPM方法进行了实验研究和仿真研究,模拟介质为水和空气.研究结果表明,液体射流在气膜作用下主要存在两种破碎过程:柱状破碎和表面破碎.Rayleigh-Taylor(R-T)不稳定性产生的表面波是液体射流发生柱状破碎的主要原因,气流穿透表面波的波谷导致射流柱破碎,破碎后的液丝沿流向逐渐发展呈带状分布.Kelvin-Helmholtz(K-H)不稳定性产生的表面波是液体射流发生表面破碎的主要原因,液丝和液滴从射流表面剥离.局部动量比对液体横向射流的破碎过程具有重要影响,当局部动量比较低时,液体射流的破碎由K-H不稳定性主导;随着局部动量比的增大液体射流的破碎逐渐由R-T不稳定性主导.液体射流的破碎长度及穿透深度均随局部动量比的增大而增大.  相似文献

We formulate scattering theory in the framework of a surface-integral approach utilizing analytically known asymptotic forms of the two-body and three-body scattering wavefunctions. This formulation is valid for both short-range and long-range Coulombic interactions. New general definitions for the potential scattering amplitude are presented. For the Coulombic potentials, the generalized amplitude gives the physical on-shell amplitude without recourse to a renormalization procedure. New post and prior forms for the Coulomb three-body breakup amplitude are derived. This resolves the problem of the inability of the conventional scattering theory to define the post form of the breakup amplitude for charged particles. The new definitions can be written as surface-integrals convenient for practical calculations. The surface-integral representations are extended to amplitudes of direct and rearrangement scattering processes taking place in an arbitrary three-body system. General definitions for the wave operators are given that unify the currently used channel-dependent definitions.  相似文献

We study numerically how the intercellular conductance affects the process of spiral breakup in an array of coupled excitable cells. The cell dynamics are described by the Aliev-Panfilov model, and the intercellular connection is made via Ohmic elements. We find that decreasing intercellular conductance can prevent the breaking up of a spiral wave into a complex spatiotemporal pattern. We study the mechanism of this effect and show that the breakup disappears because of increasing the diastolic interval of an initial spiral wave.  相似文献

This paper reports the results of a theoretical investigation of spiral wave breakup in model equations of action potential propagation in cardiac tissue. A general formulation of these equations is described in which arbitrary experimentally determined restitution and dispersion curves can in principle be fitted. Spiral wave behavior is studied in two-dimension as a function of a parameter Re which controls the steepness of the restitution curve at short diastolic intervals. Spiral breakup is found to occur when the minimum period T(min), below which a periodically stimulated tissue exhibits alternans in action potential duration, exceeds by a finite amount the spiral rotation period T(S). At this point, oscillations in action potential duration are of sufficiently large amplitude to cause a spontaneous conduction block to form along the wavefront. The latter occurs closer to the initiation point of reentry (spiral tip) with increasing steepness and, hence, in smaller tissue sizes. Spiral breakup leads to a spatially disorganized wave activity which is always transient, except for tissues larger than some minimum size and within a very narrow range of Re which increases with dispersion.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the breakup of spiral wave under no-flux, periodic and Dirichlet boundary conditions respectively. When the parameter \varepsilon is close to a critical value for Doppler-induced wave breakup, the instability of the system caused by the boundary effect occurs in the last two cases, resulting in the breakup of spiral wave near the boundary. With our defined average order measure of spiral wave (AOMSW), we quantify the degree of order of the system when the boundary-induced breakup of spiral wave happens. By analysing the AOMSW and outer diameter R of the spiral tip orbit, it is easy to find that this boundary effect is correlated with large values of R, especially under the Dirichlet boundary condition. This correlation is nonlinear, so the AOMSW sometimes oscillates with the variation of \varepsilon.  相似文献

The distribution of sizes and velocities of droplets initially formed in sprays is an important piece of information needed in the spray modelling, because it defines the initial condition of the spray droplets in the predictive calculations of the downstream two‐phase flow fields. A predictive model for the initial droplet size and velocity distributions in sprays is formulated in this study. The present model incorporates both the deterministic and the stochastic aspect of spray formation process. The deterministic aspect takes into account of the unstable wave motion before the liquid bulk breakup through the linear and nonlinear instability analysis, which provides information for the liquid bulk breakup length, the mass‐mean diameter and a prior distribution for the droplet sizes corresponding to the unstable wave growth of various wavelengths. The stochastic aspect deals with the final stage of droplet formation after the liquid bulk breakup by statistical means through the maximum entropy principle based on Bayesian entropy. The two sub‐models are coupled together by the various source terms signifying the liquid‐gas interaction, the mass mean diameter and the prior distribution based on the instability analysis. The initial droplet size and velocity distributions are measured experimentally by phase‐Doppler interferometry for sprays generated by a planar research nozzle and a practical gas turbine airblast nozzle. For the two nozzles, the liquid bulk sheet is formed before its breakup in a coflowing air stream. It is found that the model predictions are in satisfactory agreement with the experimental data for all the cases measured. Hence the present model may be applied to a variety of practical sprays to specify the initial conditions for the spray droplets formed in practical spray systems.  相似文献

We study spiral wave breakup using a Fitzhugh-Nagumo-type system. We find that spiral wave breakup can occur near the core or far from it in both excitable and oscillatory regimes. There is a faraway breakup scenario in both excitable and oscillatory media that depends on long wavelength modulation modes. We observed three distinct scenarios, including one that involves breakup that does not develop into turbulence. However, we find that the mechanisms behind these three scenarios are the same: they are caused by the interaction between the dispersion relation and the asymptotic behavior of the modulation mode. The difference in phenomenology is due to the asymptotic behavior of the modulation mode.  相似文献

The process of neutron-deuteron scattering at energies above the deuteron-breakup threshold is described within the three-body formalism of Faddeev equations. Use is made of the method of solving Faddeev equations in configuration space on the basis of expanding wave-function components in the asymptotic region in bases of eigenfunctions of specially chosen operators. Asymptotically, wave-function components are represented in the form of an expansion in an orthonormalized basis of functions depending on the hyperangle. This basis makes it possible to orthogonalize the contributions of elastic-scattering and breakup channels. The proposed method permits determining scattering and breakup parameters from the asymptotic representation of the wave function without reconstructing it over the entire configuration space. The scattering and breakup amplitudes for states of total spin S = 1/2 and 3/2 were obtained for the s-wave Faddeev equation.  相似文献

Abstract  

The spray characteristics of rotary atomization for small gas turbines were investigated using a high-speed camera and Nd:YAG laser flash visualization. To analyze the breakup process of the liquid column and liquid film, spray visualization tests were performed under varied test conditions. Visualization was conducted at rotational speeds from 5,000 to 40,000 rpm and fuel flow rates from 15 to 90 kg/h. From the test results, we discovered that a varicose wave appeared on the surface of the liquid column at rotational speeds below 10,000 rpm. As the rotational speed increases, the column forms a liquid film via a dilatational wave and breaks up via a sinuous wave. Under a gradual increase in rotational speed, the breakup of the liquid column is observed, and the formation of a liquid film is ultimately observed. We conclude that liquid film formation is essential for high spray quality in rotary atomization systems.  相似文献

Sprial breakup in the Belousov-Zhabotinsky reaction has been observed under the influence of an externally applied alternating electric current. The dynamic mechanism of this breakup is explained in the framework of this reaction. The dependence of the critical electric current amplitude on the period of the wave and on the excitability of the medium is analyzed. Spiral breakup is shown to provide a limit of validity of electric-field-induced drift of vortices in excitable media. Experimental results are complemented with numerical simulations provided by two- and three-variable Oregonator models.  相似文献

The stimulated Raman scattering of a perturbed TM mode in a dielectric loaded partially filled plasma waveguide is considered. The radiation is the result of the scattering of pump electromagnetic wave, which is an EH waveguide mode, off of a space-charge wave. A nonlinear wave equation for a three-wave interaction is used to investigate the coupling of the space-charge and waveguide modes. Dispersion relations for electromagnetic modes are solved numerically to study the frequency characteristics of the interaction of the EH waveguide modes with the space-charge modes. Formulas for the growth rates of the backscattered wave near the electron cyclotron frequency are derived, and the effect of a dielectric liner on the growth rates is investigated. Numerical studies show that the presence of the dielectric liner has an effect on the phase-matching condition and leads to rather larger growth rates close to electron cyclotron resonance.   相似文献

 在均匀液滴氧发生器的研究过程中,液滴的形成是关键技术。利用压电换能器对液流施加扰动,初始扰动沿液流表面呈指数增长,直到将液流夹断生成液滴。通过理论分析,发现在影响液流表面增长率的诸多参数中,碱性过氧化氢溶液(BHP)表面张力的增加和液体分配板板孔直径的减小能够增大扰动增长率,其他参数的改变对增长率的影响非常小。通过分析还发现,BHP液体的喷射流速不同,要取得最大增长率的外界扰动频率也随之变化,外界施加扰动的频率随液流喷射流速的增大而增大。这些结果为均匀液滴氧发生器的实验研究提供有力的参考依据。  相似文献

This paper investigates antispiral wave breakup phenomena in coupled two-dimensional FitzHugh-Nagumo cells with self-sustained oscillation via Hopf bifurcation.When the coupling strength of the active variable decreases to a critical value,wave breakup phenomenon first occurs in the antispiral core region where waves collide with each other and spontaneously break into spatiotemporal turbulence.Measurements reveal for the first time that this breakup phenomenon is due to the mechanism of antispiral Doppler instability.  相似文献

Using a procedure to minimize the total Helmholtz free energy of a system composed of an idealized substrate, a collection of surface clusters, and a vapor in contact with the surface, an expression is derived for the concentration of clusters of a given size on the substrate. The result is based on several assumptions about the system, the most important being that the surface clusters do not interact and that the substrate remains intact. The expression for the concentration of surface clusters together with the conventional form for the growth rate of clusters on a surface can be used to calculate surface nucleation rates.  相似文献
