The influence of changes in the average refractive index and thickness of a working medium layer on the holographic record of sloped transmission gratings in photopolymerizable compositions (PPCs) was studied. The parameters of holographic gratings change with increasing slope of grating lines. It is shown that shrinkage of the PPC layer is the main factor influencing the direction and rate of the energy exchange between recording beams and medium during the holographic recording in PPCs.  相似文献

We study a general class of holographic superconductor models via the Stu¨ckelberg mechanism in the non-minimal derivative coupling theory in which the charged scalar field is kinetically coupling to Einstein’s tensor. We explore the effects of the coupling parameter on the critical temperature, the order of phase transitions and the critical expo- nents near the second-order phase transition point. Moreover, we compute the electrical conductivity using the probe approximation and check the ratios ω g /T c for the different coupling parameters.  相似文献

Photoinduced light scattering is a serious drawback that limits the applicability of thick holographic recording media but provides valuable information on the recording medium. As long as there is no correlation between the scattering centers in the crystal, photoinduced light scattering may be explained to result from the interference pattern of the incident beam and the field scattered from a single point-like scattering center. The hologram of this ellipsoidally scattered wave field will have practically the same structure in the reciprocal space modified by a response function which reflects the anisotropic properties of the recording medium. We studied photoinduced light scattering in LiNbO3:Fe, a model system for photorefractive materials. The transmitted intensity in the stationary state of the scattering process is investigated as a function of the reconstruction angle at different wavelengths and polarizations of the reconstructing beam. The experimental results are analyzed by a simple phenomenological model based on the Ewald construction and can be used to choose suitable conditions at which holographic scattering can be minimized as well as to extract some physical parameters of the crystal. We investigate how the splicing mode of a holographic element (hogel) affects the reconstruction of a 3D scene to improve the reconstruction resolution of a holographic stereogram fabricated using the effective perspective image segmentation and mosaicking method (EPISM). First, the effect of hogel spatial multiplexing on holographic recording and reconstruction is studied based on the mechanism of recording interference fringes in the holographic recording medium. Second, combined with the influence of multiple exposures on the hologram's diffraction efficiency, the diffraction efficiency of the holographic stereogram is analyzed in the spatial multiplexing mode. The holographic stereogram is then regarded as a special optical imaging system. The theory of spatial bandwidth product is adopted to describe the comprehensive resolution of the holographic stereogram, which explains why hogel spatial multiplexing can significantly improve the reconstruction resolution of a holographic stereogram. Compared with the traditional printing method under the same parameters in optical experiments, hogel spatial multiplexing has a lower diffraction efficiency but a higher quality of reconstructed image, consistent with the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

We develop a holographic (bottom-up) gravity model for QCD to understand the connection between the peak in the trace anomaly and the magnitude of heavy quark energy loss in a strongly-coupled plasma. The potential of the scalar field on the gravity side is constructed to reproduce some properties of QCD at finite temperature and its parameters are constrained by fitting lattice gauge theory results. The energy loss of heavy quarks (as predicted by the holographic model) is found to be strongly sensitive to the medium properties.  相似文献

The effect of filtering that arises in the scheme of 4f Fourier holography due to the boundedness of the dynamic range of holographic recording medium on the statistical characteristics of a random process, as applied to the realization of the linear predictor model, has been investigated. The numerical simulation has been performed using filter models adequate to the real characteristics of holographic recording media. Dependences relating the stationarity estimate with the process and filter characteristics are obtained.  相似文献

In this paper, we evaluate photopolymer media using a polycarbonate (PC) substrate. In holographic data storage medium, substrates that sandwich the photopolymer material are needed to protect the photopolymer material against exogenous shock and open air. An optical glass such as BK-7 is normally used as a substrate, but a PC substrate has a cost advantage and is easy to fabricate compared with optical glass. For holographic recording and reading, however, the high birefringence and high thermal expansion of a PC substrate are significant problems. First, we analyze the degree of degradation of output power by the polarization change and estimate the threshold value of birefringence to record hologram normally. Next, we estimate the temperature tolerance of hologram readout with polycarbonate substrate hologram medium. These analyses results indicate the possible usage of the PC substrate as holographic recording media.  相似文献

Gray-level data pages enhance the storage capacity of holographic data storage systems. A balanced three gray-scale data page in phase mode produces a homogenized Fourier spectrum which is regarded to be necessary for suitable exploitation of the holographic recording medium. A commercially available transmission type twisted nematic liquid crystal display has been characterized for use as a phase spatial light modulator with phase modulation in the range 0–3π/2 at 532 nm wavelength, such that it may be used for holographic data storage with binary as well as three gray-level phase-modulated data pages. Experimental results of the phase and amplitude modulation characteristics of the SLM, Fourier plane homogeneity, and recording of phase-modulated binary, three gray-level data pages and their reconstruction with a real-time holographic interferometric method are presented.  相似文献

A general strategy for fabricating thick, optically flat photopolymer recording media with high dynamic range (M/#) that exhibit low levels of recording-induced Bragg detuning for holographic data storage is presented. In particular, media with M/# values as high as 42 in 1-mm-thick formats are obtained. We believe that these results are the first demonstration of a holographic storage medium with a dynamic range of this magnitude. In addition, we report the holographic recording and recovery of high-capacity (480-kbit) digital data pages in these media, further illustrating their data-storage capabilities.  相似文献

We analytically investigate the properties of holographic superconductors with Weyl corrections in AdS 5-Schwarzschild background by two approaches, one based on the Sturm-Liouville eigenvalue problem and the other based on the matching of the solutions to the field equations near the horizon and near the asymptotic AdS region. The relation between the critical temperature and the charge density has been obtained and the dependence of the expectation value of the condensation operator on the temperature has been found. We find that the critical temperature of holographic superconductor with Weyl corrections increases as we amplify the Weyl coupling parameter γ, indicating the condensation will be harder when the parameter γ decreases. The critical exponent of the condensation also comes out to be 1/2 which is the universal value in the mean field theory.  相似文献

We propose and demonstrate the use of phase images for holographic data storage. Use of phase images as input leads to uniform diffraction efficiency of multiplexed data pages. Use of binary phase-based data pages with 0 and π phase changes produces uniform spectral distribution at the Fourier plane. This in turn facilitates better recording of higher spatial frequencies. We experimentally demonstrate a phase-based holographic data storage system using shift multiplexing in a Fe:LiNbO3 crystal, and use it for associative retrieval. Preliminary studies indicate high discrimination capabilities of phase-based holographic data storage system over the amplitude-based system in a content-addressable memory.  相似文献

基于全息光学理论分析了全息光学元件的高斯成像性质,包括光焦度、成像位置、衍射效率以及作为光纤光谱仪光栅元件的可行性,并以全息光栅的成像理论以及光谱仪工作原理为基础,设计了光谱仪器光学系统的各个参数,通过Zemax软件的仿真、像质评价及优化,得出最终的参数和模拟结果。所使用的全息光栅记录波长为575 nm,记录光束之间的夹角为10,一束为平面波,一束为球面波,焦距40 mm,使用+1级衍射光,光栅孔径为10 mm。光谱仪的工作波长范围为400 nm~800 nm,体积140 mm*30 mm*40 mm,谱面展宽29.1 mm。通过在光学平台上搭建光路,利用已研发完成的电路系统及光谱仪软件,针对汞灯光谱进行了试验,光谱分辨率优于8 nm,测量得到的汞灯光谱与标准汞灯光谱一致,表明了所设计的基于全息元件的光纤光谱仪光学系统是可行的。  相似文献

Numerical simulation of the optical properties of unslanted reflection holographic gratings (holographic mirrors) is made by the characteristic matrix method. The holograms are recorded in an attenuating medium but the reconstruction is that of pure phase structures in which the refractive index depends exponentially on the exposure. The dependence of the hologram spectral selectivity on medium absorption, amplitude ratio of the two interference waves and recording linearity is studied.  相似文献

We analytically and numerically disclose the effects of the higher-order correction terms in the gravity and in the gauge field on the properties of s-wave holographic superconductors. On the gravity side, we consider the higher curvature Gauss–Bonnet corrections and on the gauge field side, we add a quadratic correction term to the Maxwell Lagrangian. We show that, for this system, one can still obtain an analytical relation between the critical temperature and the charge density. We also calculate the critical exponent and the condensation value both analytically and numerically. We use a variational method, based on the Sturm–Liouville eigenvalue problem for our analytical study, as well as a numerical shooting method in order to compare with our analytical results. For a fixed value of the Gauss–Bonnet parameter, we observe that the critical temperature decreases with increasing the nonlinearity of the gauge field. This implies that the nonlinear correction term to the Maxwell electrodynamics makes the condensation harder. We also study the holographic conductivity of the system and disclose the effects of the Gauss–Bonnet and nonlinear parameters \(\alpha \) and b on the superconducting gap. We observe that, for various values of \(\alpha \) and b, the real part of the conductivity is proportional to the frequency per temperature, \(\omega /T\), as the frequency is large enough. Besides, the conductivity has a minimum in the imaginary part which is shifted toward greater frequency with decreasing temperature.  相似文献

A long-lasting development in the area of holographic recording materials has shown that gelatin, a natural material, can be used as a medium for the holographic recording. Dichromated gelatin is a result of the effort to obtain phase holographic optical elements with high diffraction efficiency. This paper gives overview of its importance for holography, difficulties with its treatment, possibilities of its utilization, optical properties, and explains chemical processes being under way in gelatin from its exposure to fixing. Our experience with the formation of holographic optical elements into dichromated gelatin is mentioned. A method has been developed for retrieving the complete angular selectivity profile of transmission holographic gratings in one step. The method is applied to study in real time the shrinkage and changes in the effective optical thickness of a slanted holographic grating recorded in an acrylamide-based photopolymer. It can form the basis of a holographic sensor of analytes that cause a thickness change in the holographic medium. It can also be useful for the study and optimization of holographic recording materials and for quality control during production of holographic optical elements.  相似文献

As-S-Se chalcogenide thin films are successfully employed in classical and dot-matrix holography as inorganic photoresists for obtaining a relief-phase hologram. However using these films for image-matrix hologram recording has not been studied due to some features of image-matrix technology. For the applied research of the optical properties of As-S-Se films an experimental device of digital image-matrix holographic recording based on 100 mW 405 nm semi-conductor laser and Spatial Light Modulator (SLM) has been created. The device has the following main parameters: 140 × 105 μm frame size; laser intensity during exposure 10 W/cm2. With the help of this device diffraction grating and security holograms were recorded on As-S-Se thin films. The work reported herein presents results of an experimental study of how diffraction efficiency (DE) of the received relief-phase holographic gratings depends on an exposure and period. Diffraction grating profiles and speed of etching corresponding to different exposure doses are shown. Hologram samples with DE = 65% have been received which allows for using chalcogenide film as alternative to organic photoresists in applied dot-matrix and image-matrix holography.  相似文献

We propose a new multiple-exposure scheme for full-color full-parallax holographic three-dimensional (3D) printer, in which two of three primary-color holograms are exposed at the same location on the recording medium. In this paper, the optimal combinations of colors for multiple exposure are experimentally derived. In addition, it is shown that the proposed method enables higher brightness, better color reproducibility, and high resolution through the experiment of recording and measurement of color-chart holographic stereogram.  相似文献
