In this paper, we consider the composed convex optimization problem which consists in minimizing the sum of a convex function and a convex composite function. By using the properties of the epigraph of the conjugate functions and the subdifferentials of convex functions, we give some new constraint qualifications which completely characterize the strong Fenchel duality and the total Fenchel duality for composed convex optimiztion problem in real locally convex Hausdorff topological vector spaces.  相似文献

In the framework of normed spaces, Borwein and Zhuang introduced superefficiency and gave its concise dual form when the underlying decision problem is convex. In this paper, we consider four different generalizations of the Borwein and Zhuang superefficiency in locally convex spaces and give their concise dual forms for convex vector optimization. When the ordering cone has a base, we clarify the relationship between Henig efficiency and the various kinds of superefficiency. Finally, we show that whether the four kinds of superefficiency are equivalent to each other depends on the normability of the underlying locally convex spaces.  相似文献

Summary. In this paper we propose and analyze an efficient discretization scheme for the boundary reduction of the biharmonic Dirichlet problem on convex polygonal domains. We show that the biharmonic Dirichlet problem can be reduced to the solution of a harmonic Dirichlet problem and of an equation with a Poincaré-Steklov operator acting between subspaces of the trace spaces. We then propose a mixed FE discretization (by linear elements) of this equation which admits efficient preconditioning and matrix compression resulting in the complexity . Here is the number of degrees of freedom on the underlying boundary, is an error reduction factor, or for rectangular or polygonal boundaries, respectively. As a consequence an asymptotically optimal iterative interface solver for boundary reductions of the biharmonic Dirichlet problem on convex polygonal domains is derived. In this paper, we propose a new notion of ‘exceptional family of elements’ for convex optimization problems. By employing the notion of ‘exceptional family of elements’, we establish some existence results for convex optimization problem in reflexive Banach spaces. We show that the nonexistence of an exceptional family of elements is a sufficient and necessary condition for the solvability of the optimization problem. Furthermore, we establish several equivalent conditions for the solvability of convex optimization problems. As applications, the notion of ‘exceptional family of elements’ for convex optimization problems is applied to the constrained optimization problem and convex quadratic programming problem and some existence results for solutions of these problems are obtained.  相似文献

Our purpose in this paper is to approximate solutions of accretive operators in Banach spaces. Motivated by Halpern's iteration and Mann's iteration, we prove weak and strong convergence theorems for resolvents of accretive operators. Using these results, we consider the convex minimization problem of finding a minimizer of a proper lower semicontinuous convex function and the variational problem of finding a solution of a variational inequality.  相似文献

First, we consider a strongly continuous semigroup of nonexpansive mappings defined on a closed convex subset of a complete CAT(0) space and prove a convergence of a Mann iteration to a common fixed point of the mappings. This result is motivated by a result of Kirk (2002) and of Suzuki (2002). Second, we obtain a result on limits of subsequences of Mann iterations of multivalued nonexpansive mappings on metric spaces of hyperbolic type, which leads to a convergence theorem for nonexpansive mappings on these spaces.  相似文献

In this paper, we give a necessary and sufficient condition that a locally biholomorphic mapping f on the unit ball B in a complex Hilbert space X is a biholomorphic convex mapping, which improves some results of Hamada and Kohr and solves the problem which is posed by Graham and Kohr. From this, we derive some sufficient conditions for biholomorphic convex mapping. We also introduce a linear operator in purpose to construct some concrete examples of biholomorphic convex mappings on B in Hilbert spaces. Moreover, we give some examples of biholomorphic convex mappings on B in Hilbert spaces.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a new hybrid iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of zeroes of a maximal monotone operator, the set of fixed points of a relatively quasi-nonexpansive mapping, the sets of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the variational inequality problem in Banach spaces. As applications, we apply our results to obtain strong convergence theorems for a maximal monotone operator and quasi-nonexpansive mappings in Hilbert spaces and we consider a problem of finding a minimizer of a convex function.  相似文献

In this article, we propose a strongly convergent variant on the projected subgradient method for constrained convex minimization problems in Hilbert spaces. The advantage of the proposed method is that it converges strongly when the problem has solutions, without additional assumptions. The method also has the following desirable property: the sequence converges to the solution of the problem which lies closest to the initial iterate.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce two types of new Banach spaces: k-super-strongly convex spaces and k-super-strongly smooth spaces. It is proved that these two notions are dual. We also prove that the class of k-super-strongly convexifiable spaces is strictly between locally k-uniformly rotund spaces and k-strongly convex spaces, and obtain some necessary and sufficient conditions of k-super-strongly convex space (respectively k-super-strongly smooth space). Also, for each k?2, it is shown that there exists a k-super-strongly convex (respectively k-super-strongly smooth) space which is not (k−1)-super-strongly convex (respectively (k−1)-super-strongly smooth) space.  相似文献

Let D be a bounded convex domain of the complex plane. We study the problem of whether the fundamental principle holds for analytic function spaces on D invariant with respect to the differentiation operator and admitting spectral synthesis. Earlier this problem was solved under a restriction on the multiplicities of the eigenvalues of the differentiation operator. In the present paper, we lift this restriction. Thus, we present a complete solution of the fundamental principle problem for arbitrary nontrivial closed invariant subspaces admitting spectral synthesis on arbitrary bounded convex domains.  相似文献

The multiple-sets split feasibility problem (MSFP) is to find a point belongs to the intersection of a family of closed convex sets in one space, such that its image under a linear transformation belongs to the intersection of another family of closed convex sets in the image space. Many iterative methods can be employed to solve the MSFP. Jinling Zhao et al. proposed a modification for the CQ algorithm and a relaxation scheme for this modification to solve the MSFP. The strong convergence of these algorithms are guaranteed in finite-dimensional Hilbert spaces. Recently López et al. proposed a relaxed CQ algorithm for solving split feasibility problem, this algorithm can be implemented easily since it computes projections onto half-spaces and has no need to know a priori the norm of the bounded linear operator. However, this algorithm has only weak convergence in the setting of infinite-dimensional Hilbert spaces. In this paper, we introduce a new relaxed self-adaptive CQ algorithm for solving the MSFP where closed convex sets are level sets of some convex functions such that the strong convergence is guaranteed in the framework of infinite-dimensional Hilbert spaces. Our result extends and improves the corresponding results.  相似文献
