Newton's iterator is one of the most popular components of polynomial equation system solvers, either from the numeric or symbolic point of view. This iterator usually handles smooth situations only (when the Jacobian matrix associated to the system is invertible). This is often a restrictive factor. Generalizing Newton's iterator is still an open problem: How to design an efficient iterator with a quadratic convergence even in degenerate cases? We propose an answer for an m -adic topology when the ideal m can be chosen generic enough: compared to a smooth case we prove quadratic convergence with a small overhead that grows with the square of the multiplicity of the root.  相似文献

We consider the quantum dynamical systems of identical particles admitting an additional integral quadratic in momenta and find that an appropriate ordering procedure exists that allows converting the classical integrals into their quantum counterparts. A chain of quadratic first integrals of general linear Hamiltonian systems that have not been represented in canonical form is found. Their involutiveness is established and the problem of their functional independence is studied. The key role in the study of a Hamiltonian system is played by an integral cone which is obtained by setting known quadratic first integrals equal to zero. A singular invariant isotropic subspace is shown to pass through each point of the integral cone, and its dimension is found. The maximal dimension of such subspaces estimates from above the degree of instability of the Hamiltonian system. The stability of typical Hamiltonian systems is shown to be equivalent to the degeneracy of the cone to an equilibrium point. General results are applied to the investigation of linear mechanical systems with gyroscopic forces and finite-dimensional quantum systems.  相似文献

The infinite dimensional version of the linear quadratic cost control problem is studied by Curtain and Pritchard [2], Gibson [5] by using Riccati integral equations, instead of differential equations. In the present paper the corresponding stochastic case over a finite horizon is considered. The stochastic perturbations are given by Hilbert valued square integrable martingales and it is shown that the deterministic optimal feedback control is also optimal in the stochastic case. Sufficient conditions are given for the convergence of approximate solutions of optimal control problems.  相似文献

In this paper, we make a complete study of the unfolding of a quadratic integrable system with a homoclinic loop. Making a Poincaré transformation and using some new techniques to estimate the number of zeros of Abelian integrals, we obtain the complete bifurcation diagram and all phase portraits of systems corresponding to different regions in the parameter space. In particular, we prove that two is the maximal number of limit cycles bifurcation from the system under quadratic non-conservative perturbations. In this paper, the effects of quadratic singular curves in integrable wave equations are studied by using the bifurcation theory of dynamical system. Some new singular solitary waves (pseudo‐cuspons) and periodic waves are found more weak than regular singular traveling waves such as peaked soliton (peakon), cusp soliton (cuspon), cusp periodic wave, etc. We show that while the first‐order derivatives of the new singular solitary wave and periodic waves exist, their second‐order derivatives are discontinuous at finite number of points for the solitary waves or at infinitely countable points for the periodic wave. Moreover, an intrinsic connection is constructed between the singular traveling waves and quadratic singular curves in the phase plane of traveling wave system. The new singular periodic waves, pseudo‐cuspons, and compactons emerge if corresponding periodic orbits or homoclinic orbits are tangent to a hyperbola, ellipse, and parabola. In particular, pseudo‐cuspon is proposed for the first time. Finally, we study the qualitative behavior of the new singular solitary wave and periodic wave solutions through theoretical analysis and numerical simulation.  相似文献
