Using that finite topological spaces are just finite orders, we develop a duality theory for sheaves of Abelian groups over finite spaces following closely Grothendieck's duality theory for coherent sheaves over proper schemes. Since the geometric realization of a finite space is a polyhedron, we relate this duality with the duality theory for Abelian sheaves over polyhedra.  相似文献

We study the André–Quillen cohomology with coefficients of an algebra over an operad. Using resolutions of algebras coming from the Koszul duality theory, we make this cohomology theory explicit and we give a Lie theoretic interpretation. For which operads is the associated André–Quillen cohomology equal to an Ext-functor? We give several criteria, based on the cotangent complex, to characterize this property. We apply it to homotopy algebras, which gives a new homotopy stable property for algebras over cofibrant operads.  相似文献

We extend the bar–cobar adjunction to operads and properads, not necessarily augmented. Due to the default of augmentation, the objects of the dual category are endowed with a curvature. As usual, the bar–cobar construction gives a cofibrant resolution for any properad. Applied to the properad encoding unital and counital Frobenius algebras, notion which appears in 2d-TQFT, it defines the associated notion up to homotopy. We further define a curved Koszul duality theory for operads or properads presented with quadratic, linear and constant relations. This provides smaller resolutions. We apply this new theory to study the homotopy theory and the cohomology theory of unital associative algebras.  相似文献

We develop a curved Koszul duality theory for algebras presented by quadratic-linear-constant relations over unital versions of binary quadratic operads. As an application, we study Poisson n-algebras given by polynomial functions on a standard shifted symplectic space. We compute explicit resolutions of these algebras using curved Koszul duality. We use these resolutions to compute derived enveloping algebras and factorization homology on parallelized simply connected closed manifolds with coefficients in these Poisson n-algebras.  相似文献

To a topological group G, we assign a naive G-spectrum , called the dualizing spectrum of G. When the classifying space BG is finitely dominated, we show that detects Poincaré duality in the sense that BG is a Poincaré duality space if and only if is a homotopy finite spectrum. Secondly, we show that the dualizing spectrum behaves multiplicatively on certain topological group extensions. In proving these results we introduce a new tool: a norm map which is defined for any G and for any naive G-spectrum E. Applications of the dualizing spectrum come in two flavors: (i) applications in the theory of Poincaré duality spaces, and (ii) applications in the theory of group cohomology. On the Poincaré duality space side, we derive a homotopy theoretic solution to a problem posed by Wall which says that in a fibration sequence of fini the total space satisfies Poincaré duality if and only if the base and fiber do. The dualizing spectrum can also be used to give an entirely homotopy theoretic construction of the Spivak fibration of a finitely dominated Poincaré duality space. We also include a new proof of Browder's theorem that every finite H-space satisfies Poincaré duality. In connection with group cohomology, we show how to define a variant of Farrell-Tate cohomology for any topological or discrete group G, with coefficients in any naive equivariant cohomology theory E. When E is connective, and when G admits a subgroup H of finite index such that BH is finitely dominated, we show that this cohomology coincides with the ordinary cohomology of G with coefficients in E in degrees greater than the cohomological dimension of H. In an appendix, we identify the homotopy type of for certain kinds of groups. The class includes all compact Lie groups, torsion free arithmetic groups and Bieri-Eckmann duality groups. The duality of moduli spaces of coherent sheaves on curves and surfaces gives a GIT free construction of these spaces. It is a suitable generalization for topics as: strange duality, jumping lines of vector bundles on projective space, and Faltings' construction of the moduli space of semistable vector bundles on a complex curve given in his article Stable G-bundles and projective connections. Using this duality we propose a construction for the moduli space of semistable sheaves on a surface.  相似文献

We study certain moduli spaces of stable vector bundles of rank 2 on cubic and quartic threefolds. In many cases under consideration, it turns out that the moduli space is complete and irreducible and a general member has vanishing intermediate cohomology. In one case, all except one component of the moduli space has such vector bundles.  相似文献

A Π-algebra A is a graded group with all of the algebraic structure possessed by the homotopy groups of a pointed connected topological space. We study the moduli space R(A) of realizations of A, which is defined to be the disjoint union, indexed by weak equivalence classes of CW-complexes X with , of the classifying space of the monoid of self homotopy equivalences of X. Our approach amounts to a kind of homotopical deformation theory: we obtain a tower whose homotopy limit is R(A), in which the space at the bottom is BAut(A) and the successive fibres are determined by Π-algebra cohomology. (This cohomology is the analog for Π-algebras of the Hochschild cohomology of an associative ring or the André-Quillen cohomology of a commutative ring.) It seems clear that the deformation theory can be applied with little change to study other moduli problems in algebra and topology.  相似文献

We establish a duality between global sheaves on spectral spaces and right distributive bands. This is a sheaf-theoretical extension of classical Stone duality between spectral spaces and bounded distributive lattices. The topology of a spectral space admits a refinement, the so-called patch topology, giving rise to a patch monad on sheaves over a fixed spectral space. Under the duality just mentioned the algebras of this patch monad are shown to correspond to distributive skew lattices.  相似文献

We define complexes of vector bundles on products of moduli spaces of framed rank r torsion-free sheaves on \mathbbP2{\mathbb{P}^2} . The top non-vanishing equivariant Chern classes of the cohomology of these complexes yield actions of the r-colored Heisenberg and Clifford algebras on the equivariant cohomology of the moduli spaces. In this way we obtain a geometric realization of the boson-fermion correspondence and related vertex operators.  相似文献

Koszul Duality Patterns in Representation Theory   总被引:20,自引:0,他引:20
The aim of this paper is to work out a concrete example as well as to provide the general pattern of applications of Koszul duality to representation theory. The paper consists of three parts relatively independent of each other. The first part gives a reasonably selfcontained introduction to Koszul rings and Koszul duality. Koszul rings are certain -graded rings with particularly nice homological properties which involve a kind of duality. Thus, to a Koszul ring one associates naturally the dual Koszul ring. The second part is devoted to an application to representation theory of semisimple Lie algebras. We show that the block of the Bernstein-Gelfand-Gelfand category that corresponds to any fixed central character is governed by the Koszul ring. Moreover, the dual of that ring governs a certain subcategory of the category again. This generalizes the selfduality theorem conjectured by Beilinson and Ginsburg in 1986 and proved by Soergel in 1990. In the third part we study certain categories of mixed perverse sheaves on a variety stratified by affine linear spaces. We provide a general criterion for such a category to be governed by a Koszul ring. In the flag variety case this reduces to the setup of part two. In the more general case of affine flag manifolds and affine Grassmannians the criterion should yield interesting results about representations of quantum groups and affine Lie algebras.

We prove that the Fano variety of lines of a generic cubic fourfold containing a plane is isomorphic to a moduli space of twisted stable complexes on a K3 surface. On the other hand, we show that the Fano varieties are always birational to moduli spaces of twisted stable coherent sheaves on a K3 surface. The moduli spaces of complexes and of sheaves are related by wall-crossing in the derived category of twisted sheaves on the corresponding K3 surface.  相似文献

Laumon moduli spaces are certain smooth closures of the moduli spaces of maps from the projective line to the flag variety of GL n . We construct the action of the Yangian of \mathfraksln{\mathfrak{sl}_n} in the cohomology of Laumon spaces by certain natural correspondences. We construct the action of the affine Yangian (two-parametric deformation of the universal enveloping algebra of the universal central extension of \mathfraksln[s±1,t]{\mathfrak{sl}_n[s^{\pm1},t]}) in the cohomology of the affine version of Laumon spaces. We compute the matrix coefficients of the generators of the affine Yangian in the fixed point basis of cohomology. This basis is an affine analog of the Gelfand-Tsetlin basis. The affine analog of the Gelfand-Tsetlin algebra surjects onto the equivariant cohomology rings of the affine Laumon spaces. The cohomology ring of the moduli space \mathfrakMn,d{\mathfrak{M}_{n,d}} of torsion free sheaves on the plane, of rank n and second Chern class d, trivialized at infinity, is naturally embedded into the cohomology ring of certain affine Laumon space. It is the image of the center Z of the Yangian of \mathfrakgln{\mathfrak{gl}_n} naturally embedded into the affine Yangian. In particular, the first Chern class of the determinant line bundle on \mathfrakMn,d{\mathfrak{M}_{n,d}} is the image of a noncommutative power sum in Z.  相似文献

We find certain relations between flag Hilbert schemes of points on plane curves and moduli spaces of one-dimensional plane sheaves. We show that some of these moduli spaces are stably rational.  相似文献

In this paper we study finite dimensional algebras arising from categories of perverse sheaves on finite regular cell complexes (cellular perverse algebras). We prove that such algebras are quasi-hereditary and have finite global dimension. We discuss some restrictions, under which cellular perverse algebras are Koszul. We also study the relationship between Koszul duality functors in the derived categories of categories of graded and non-graded modules over an algebra and its quadratic dual.  相似文献

We investigate the moduli spaces of one- and two-dimensional sheaves on projective K3 and abelian surfaces that are semistable with respect to a nongeneral ample divisor with regard to the symplectic resolvability. We can exclude the existence of new examples of projective irreducible symplectic manifolds lying birationally over components of the moduli spaces of one-dimensional semistable sheaves on K3 surfaces, and over components of many of the moduli spaces of two-dimensional sheaves on K3 surfaces, in particular, of those for rank two sheaves.  相似文献

We construct a non-commutative rational homotopy theory by replacing the pair (Lie algebras, commutative algebras) by the pair (Leibniz algebras, Leibniz-dual algebras). Both pairs are Koszul dual in the sense of operads (Ginzburg–Kapranov). We prove the existence of minimal models and the Hurewicz theorem in this framework. We define Leibniz spheres and prove that their homotopy is periodic. Received: 19 September 1997 / Revised version: 23 February 1998  相似文献
