Cyclic Covers over Strongly Liftable Schemes

A smooth scheme $X$ over a field $k$ of positive characteristic is said to be strongly liftable over $W_2(k)$, if $X$ and all prime divisors on $X$ can be lifted simultaneously over $W_2(k)$. In this paper, the author gives a criterion for those cyclic covers over strongly liftable schemes that are still strongly liftable. As a corollary, cyclic covers over projective spaces of dimension at least three are strongly liftable over $W_2(k)$.     

CYCLIC CODES OVER FORMAL POWER SERIES RINGS

In this article, cyclic codes and negacyclic codes over formal power series rings are studied. The structure of cyclic codes over this class of rings is given, and the relationship between these codes and cyclic codes over finite chain rings is obtained. Using an isomorphism between cyclic and negacyclic codes over formal power series rings, the structure of negacyclic codes over the formal power series rings is obtained.     

半环上矩阵的秩和坡上矩阵可逆的条件

研究了交换半环上矩阵的秩和坡上矩阵的可逆条件.利用Beasley的引理以及不变式,获得了交换半环上正则矩阵的行秩、列秩与Schein秩三者相等,以及坡上矩阵可逆的充要条件.推广模糊代数和分配格上矩阵的结果.     

环F_2+uF_2+u~2F_2上线性码的MacWilliams恒等式

记R=F_2+uF_2+u~2F_2,定义了环R上码字的李重量分布的概念,构造了从R~n到F_2~(3n)的Gray映射φ.通过对环R上线性码及其对偶码生成矩阵的研究,证明了环R上线性码及其对偶码的Gray象是F_2上的对偶码.利用域F_2上线性码及其对偶码的重量分布关系,得到了环R上线性码及其对偶码关于李重量分布的MacWilliams恒等式.     

SELF-DUAL PERMUTATION CODES OVER FORMAL POWER SERIES RINGS AND FINITE PRINCIPAL IDEAL RINGS

In this paper, we study self-dual permutation codes over formal power series rings and finite principal ideal rings. We first give some results on the torsion codes associated with the linear codes over formal power series rings. These results allow for obtaining some conditions for non-existence of self-dual permutation codes over formal power series rings. Finally, we describe self-dual permutation codes over finite principal ideal rings by examining permutation codes over their component chain rings.     

Cleavability in Ordered Spaces

In this paper we study the role of cleavability and divisibility in the topology of generalized ordered (GO-)spaces. We characterize cleavability of a GO-space over the class of metrizable spaces, and over the spaces of irrational and rational numbers. We present a series of examples related to characterizations of cleavability over separable metric spaces and over the space of real numbers.     

On functors between categories of modules over trusses

Categorical aspects of the theory of modules over trusses are studied. Tensor product of modules over trusses is defined and its existence established. In particular, it is shown that bimodules over trusses form a monoidal category. Truss versions of the Eilenberg-Watts theorem and Morita equivalence are formulated. Projective and small-projective modules over trusses are defined and their properties studied.

TRANSCENDENTAL AND ALGEBRAIC EXTENSIONS OF COMMUTATIVE RINGS

Abstract

Transcendental and algebraic elements over commutative rings are defined. Rings with zero nil radical are considered. For a transcendental over R, necessary and sufficient conditions are derived for elements of R[α] to be algebraic or transcendental over R. For R a ring with identity and a finite number of minimal prime ideals, necessary and sufficient conditions are given for any element in a unitary overring of R to be algebraic or transcendental over R. It is proved that if α is algebraic Over R, so is every element of R[α]. It is show that if R is Noetherian, β is algebraic over R[α] and α is algebraic over R, then, under certain conditions, β is algebraic over R. If R has a finite number of minimal prime ideals, P₁,…,P_k, which are pairwise comaximal, then if t is transcendental over R, R[t] can be obtained by adjoining k algebraic elements a_i over R to R whose defining polynomials are in P_i [x], and conversely, if such elements are adjoined to R, they generate an element transcendental over R.     

Derivatives of probability functions and some applications

Probability functions depending upon parameters are represented as integrals over sets given by inequalities. New derivative formulas for the intergrals over a volume are considered. Derivatives are presented as sums of integrals over a volume and over a surface. Two examples are discussed: probability functions with linear constraints (random right-hand sides), and a dynamical shut-down problem with sensors.     

On simple modules over conformal Galilei algebras

We study irreducible representations of two classes of conformal Galilei algebras in 1-spatial dimension. We construct a functor which transforms simple modules with nonzero central charge over the Heisenberg subalgebra into simple modules over the conformal Galilei algebras. This can be viewed as an analogue of oscillator representations. We use oscillator representations to describe the structure of simple highest weight modules over conformal Galilei algebras. We classify simple weight modules with finite dimensional weight spaces over finite dimensional Heisenberg algebras and use this classification and properties of oscillator representations to classify simple weight modules with finite dimensional weight spaces over conformal Galilei algebras.     

Vaught's Conjecture and Group Rings

We discuss Vaught's conjecture for complete theories of modules over some group rings over the integers and other Dedekind domains, and over pullback rings of Dedekind domains.     

Quasideterminant Characterization of MDS Group Codes over Abelian Groups

A group code defined over a group G is a subset of Gⁿ which forms a group under componentwise group operation. The well known matrix characterization of MDS (Maximum Distance Separable) linear codes over finite fields is generalized to MDS group codes over abelian groups, using the notion of quasideterminants defined for matrices over non-commutative rings.

代数扩张域上的多项式分解在密码学中的应用

用有理数域或特征p的素域上的有n个独立变量的有理函数域的有限代数扩张域上的多项式的不可约分解,建议了一类密码系统.     

环F_2+uF_2+vF_2上循环码的一个刻画(英文)

In this work, we investigate the cyclic codes over the ring F2+ uF2+ vF2. We first study the relationship between linear codes over F2+ uF2+ vF2 and that over F2.Then we give a characterization of the cyclic codes over F2+ uF2+ vF2. Finally, we obtain the number of the cyclic code over F2+ uF2+ vF2 of length n.
