An analytical expression describing the vectorial field distribution of Gaussian light beams diffracted by an axicon is obtained. The theoretical analysis and simulation calculation show that for the linearly x-polarized light incident on an axicon, the y-component of the diffraction field is very small and the x-component dominates. The intensity of the z-component along the propagation direction is related with the open angle and index of axicon. The open angle plays the more important role in determining the polarization than does the index. For a small open angle, the z-polarized effect can be neglected and the scalar method is simple and valid to evaluating the diffraction field distribution of axicon. However, the vectorial method has to be used for great open angle.  相似文献

We propose a method to produce diffraction-free thin and hollow beams. The method is based on Laguerre-Gaussian (LG) beams incident on a large open-angle axicon. We use the vector diffraction integrals and stationary phase method to deduce a simple and analytical formula of the propagating field of the linearly polarized LG beams through an axicon. The numerical results show that the hollow beams of whose diameter is in the order of the wavelength can be obtained by using the axicon with the refractive index n = 2 and the open angle α = 25°. These diffraction-free thin and hollow beams may be very useful to accurately trap and manipulate atoms. However, when the open angle is over large, the conversion efficiency from the LG beam to the diffraction-free hollow beam will decrease obviously.  相似文献

提出一种产生尺寸可调局域空心光束的新型光学元件——可拆式组合轴棱锥,这种新型光学元件是在传统轴棱锥的中部沿其轴线方向贯通开设一圆孔,在圆孔内嵌设一第二轴棱锥组成。通过更换不同底角的第二轴棱锥(或第一轴棱锥),可形成不同尺寸的单个局域空心光束或周期性局域空心光束。从几何光学出发分析了产生局域空心光束的原理,计算了局域空心光束的相关参量。由衍射积分理论分析和模拟了新型光学元件的光强分布特性。几何光学和衍射理论所得分析结果基本吻合。  相似文献

 分析了螺旋轴棱锥的结构和光传输特性,基于衍射积分理论研究了发散球面波和拉盖尔-高斯光束经螺旋轴棱锥后的传输过程。研究表明,发散球面波经过螺旋轴棱锥后产生贝塞尔光束,其阶数与拓扑电荷数相同,但中心光斑(空心光斑)半径随传输距离的增加而变大;拉盖尔-高斯光束入射后同样产生贝塞尔光束,但其阶数变为拉盖尔-高斯光束和螺旋轴棱锥的拓扑电荷数之和,出射光束的拓扑电荷数与阶数相等。  相似文献

提出一种产生局域空心光束(bottle beam)的新方法,它是在传统的轴棱锥底面上放置一个环形障碍物.平面波入射到带有环形障碍物的轴棱锥底面时,将在轴棱锥产生的最大无衍射距离内形成bottle beam,而在bottle beam的前后仍然保持无衍射贝塞尔光.通过变化障碍物大小及轴棱锥底角实现bottle beam尺寸的控制.利用衍射理论描述了平面波经带有环形障碍物的轴棱锥产生bottle beam的原理,分析和模拟了传输过程中不同位置的截面光强分布及整个过程的三维光强分布,并给出相关的实验结果.研究结果对bottlebeam的实际应用具有积极的意义.  相似文献

首次对无衍射Mathieu光束的自重建特性进行理论和实验研究, 利用Mathieu-Hankel波理论分析了Mathieu光束的自重建机理. 基于菲涅尔衍射积分理论, 推导出了高斯吸收型圆形障碍物部分遮挡后的Mathieu光场重建后的解析表达式, 并数值模拟了无衍射Mathieu光束的经圆形障碍物部分遮挡后光场的自重建过程. 采用柱透镜-轴棱锥组合光学系统产生近似零阶无衍射Mathieu光束, 实验分别验证了轴上和轴外障碍物遮挡时近似零阶无衍射Mathieu光束的自重建特性. 理论模拟与实验结果相符.  相似文献

Tight focusing of radially polarized partially coherent vortex beam over a high numerical aperture lens axicon system is introduced and its propagation properties are studied based on vectorial Debye theory. The effect of propagation parameters on the intensity distribution, the polarization property and the coherent property of the beam is illustrated analytically and numerically. It is shown that the correlation length and maximal NA angle has a significant influence on the intensity profile.  相似文献

从理论和实验两个方面研究角向偏振无衍射光束在自由空间和障碍物空间中的传输特性. 理论上模拟了角向偏振无衍射光束在自由空间以及障碍物空间传播过程中的光强分布与偏振态变化情况. 实验中利用高斯光束先通过偏振转换仪, 再入射到轴棱锥上产生角向偏振无衍射光束. 进而研究其在空间中的传输情况, 并通过分析其经过扇形障碍物后光强分布变化情况讨论障碍物对偏振态的影响和光束的自重建特性. 结果表明: 障碍物遮挡区域光强沿z轴方向逐渐恢复, 且阴影区域沿障碍物所在位置的相反方向移动; 光束的偏振态局部发生变化, 该变化与障碍物所在位置有关. 理论仿真和实验结果一致.  相似文献

We present a theoretical and experimental study of the intensity distribution of a laser beam, after its propagation through a real axicon. We show that, while an ideal axicon generates Bessel-like radial intensity profile and smooth on-axis intensity around the focal region, in practice, the bluntness of the tip of the axicon causes significant deviations from these profiles. In particular, strong oscillations occur on the on-axis intensity. The input beam size also plays a strong role; for small beams the axicon acts more like a conventional lens, while for the large ones, it exhibits two focal regions. We also propose scheme for apodization. In all cases, the experiments match closely with the calculations. Our results show that axicons cannot be assumed to always generate smooth on-axis intensities and the structures coming from the real profiles should be taken into account for most applications.  相似文献

The circular polarization components of a vortex beam in a uniaxial crystal exhibit complex propagation characteristics. We demonstrate how the amount of splitting may be distinguished by use of a vortex beam. We predict and experimentally verify a threshold angle subtending the crystal and beam axes, below which the splitting is indistinguishable.  相似文献

We study the focus shaping of tightly focused TEM11 mode cylindrically polarized Laguerre Gaussian beam with high numerical aperture lens axicon system is investigated theoretically by vector diffraction theory. The intensity pattern at the focus can be tailored by appropriately adjusting the rotation angle. We show that the high NA lens axicon system can generates a sub wavelength focal spot, focal hole, focal splitting and flat-topped focal shapes with extended depth of focus.  相似文献

提出了一种基于轴棱锥产生零阶近似无衍射Mathieu光束的新方法,利用轴棱锥聚焦具有椭圆高斯振幅调制的平面波,得到近似零阶无衍射Mathieu光束.根据椭圆高斯平面波经轴棱锥衍射的衍射积分公式,对光强分布进行了数值模拟,依据几何光学模型计算了近似无衍射Mathieu光束的最大无衍射距离,并设计了实验对理论模拟的结果进行了验证.实验采用柱透镜和准直扩束系统变换圆高斯光束产生具有椭圆高斯振幅调制的平面波,用轴棱锥聚焦该平面波后得到近似无衍射Mathieu光束,实验结果与理论模拟和计算相符.  相似文献

We propose a promising and practical scheme to generate a vectorial Mathieu-like hollow beam (vMHB) by using an axicon optical system including a dual-mode elliptic hollow fiber (EHF), and calculate the intensity and polarization distributions of the beam and its fractional orbital angular momentum (OAM). We also fit its intensity profile and obtain suitable theoretical expressions to describe three-dimensional (3D) propagation characteristics of such a Mathieu-like hollow beam. Our study shows that the generated beam is a vMHB within the propagation distance 1.2-2.2 m, which has an unchanged (diffraction-free) intensity profile and periodically rotated polarization properties as well as an unchanged fractional OAM within 1.2-2.2 m.  相似文献

由于球面波入射圆锥透镜所产生的出射光束具有焦深长和中心光斑直径较小的特点,适合激光通信以及长距离测量.在实际使用中,入射球面波很可能与圆锥透镜的光轴发生倾斜.研究了圆锥透镜对倾斜球面波光束的衍射特性,通过基尔霍夫衍射理论以及稳相法分析,分析了其径向衍射光场分布形式,并用计算机进行了仿真.使用了半径为15 mm、底角为1°的圆锥透镜进行实验,并对仿真结果进行了验证.仿真和实验证明,减小入射球面波曲率半径、出射光束传输距离和入射光束倾斜角都可以减弱入射光束倾斜对衍射图的影响.  相似文献

研究了轴棱锥聚焦像散椭圆高斯光束的光场分布特性,根据菲涅耳衍射积分理论导出了椭圆高斯光束经轴棱锥衍射后的光场分布,通过数值积分给出椭圆高斯光束经轴棱锥聚焦后的近轴光场强度分布情况,将其与圆高斯光束产生的近似Bessel-Gauss场进行比较,发现椭圆高斯光束经轴棱锥聚焦后的光束在一定的传播距离内也具有无衍射特性,且轴上光强分布与圆高斯光束产生的Bessel-Gauss光束的轴上光强分布具有相似的形式,而这种无衍射光场的强度在垂直于光轴的平面上不再是柱对称分布。根据近轴球面波产生近似Bessel光束的最大无衍射距离公式计算了椭圆Bessel-Gauss光束在子午面和弧矢面上的最大无衍射距离,整个光束的无衍射距离由入射到轴棱锥上的椭圆光斑短轴方向的尺寸决定。  相似文献

提出利用折射率成阶跃性变化的轴棱锥产生局域空心光束(bottlebeam).讨论了折射率沿径向成阶跃式减小或增加两种模型,从几何光学角度分析了它们产生bottle beam的原理,利用衍射积分理论数值模拟两种轴棱锥光传输的光场分布和不同距离处的二维光斑图,研究结果表明折射率沿径向阶跃减小的轴棱锥产生单个bottle beam,而折射率沿径向阶跃增加的轴棱锥产生具有周期再现的bottle beams.bottle beam在原子引导和囚禁、光学俘获及光镊等方面有广泛的应用,因此本文的研究对bottlebeam的产生和实际应用具有指导意义.  相似文献

The analytical expression for nonparaxial Gaussian vortex beams propagating in free space is derived, which enables us to study phase and polarization singularities in nonparaxial vector wavefields. Differing from the polarization singularities formed by two transverse electric-field components in the paraxial regime, the polarization singularities can be formed by the transverse and longitudinal electric-field components of nonparaxial beams, and there exist C-points and L-lines. The variation of the beam parameters and propagation distance will result in a shift of phase and polarization singularities, but their position relation remains unchanged and the topological relationship holds true.  相似文献

从衍射理论导出圆顶轴棱锥后的光场分布,用软件对圆顶轴棱锥后的光强进行仿真,结果表明,圆顶轴棱锥可以得到多个局域空心光束。分别改变圆顶轴棱锥的底角和顶端平凸透镜的焦距,再用软件对圆顶轴棱锥后的光强进行仿真,所得光强分布表明,圆顶轴棱锥的底角影响局域空心光束的周期和暗域数量,而顶端平凸透镜的焦距主要影响局域空心光束中暗域的数量,对周期几乎没有影响。在实际应用中可通过调节参量得到所需要局域空心光束。  相似文献

利用矢量瑞利衍射积分公式,推导出非傍轴矢量高斯光束圆屏衍射的解析表示式.非傍轴矢量高斯光束圆屏衍射的轴上场分布、远场表示式、自由空间中的传输公式,以及傍轴近似下高斯光束圆屏衍射的菲涅耳和夫琅禾费衍射公式可以作为一般公式的特例统一处理.数 值计算和比较实例说明了非傍轴矢量高斯光束的光强分布和远场特性.分析表明,在圆屏衍 射中,f参数和截断参数决定光束的非傍轴行为. 关键词: 传输光学 非傍轴矢量高斯光束 圆屏衍射 矢量瑞利衍射积分公式  相似文献
