Integral representations for the displacement vector, rotation vector and the temperature have been constructed by making use of the three basic singular solutions in asymmetric thermoelasticity. The potentials of a single and double layer have been constructed. The solution of the basic boundary value problems has been reduced to the solution of a system of seven singular integral equations by utilizing the theorems proved on the discontinuities of the double layer potentials and P (stress), M (couple-stress) and /n operators of the single layer potentials.
Zusammenfassung Unter Benutzung der drei Fundamentallösungen der asymmetrischen Thermoelastizitätstheorie werden Integraldarstellungen für den Verschiebungsvektor, den Rotationsvektor und das Temperaturfeld konstruiert. Es werden die Potentiale der Einfach-und Doppelbelegung angegeben. Die Lösung der Randwertprobleme wird zurückgeführt auf die Lösung eines Systems von sieben singulären Integralgleichungen. Dabei werden Theoreme benutzt, die für die Unstetigkeiten der Doppelbelegungspotentiale sowie die P (Spannungs-), M (Momenten-pannungs-) und /n-Operatoren der Einfachbelegungspotentiale nachgewiesen werden.

Using an elimination technique, the non-linear compatibility equations for the theory of elastic dielectrics including polarization gradient effects are established. The corresponding Bianchi-type identities are constructed and used to establish the number of independent compatibility conditions consistent with the number of unknown field variables for a stress-like boundary value problem.  相似文献

Within the scope of linear elasticity, an in-plane problem related to the repair of an infinite thin elastic plate with a hole by a patch is considered. The patch and the plate are joined together only along their boundaries. The plate is subjected to stresses applied at infinity. The problem is reduced to a system of four singular integral equations. Existence and uniqueness of the solution of the system is proved. The proposed solution allows one to evaluate the efficiency of a patch repair with little computational effort.  相似文献

We deal with an integral inequality with a power nonlinearity on its left-hand side, n nonlinearities on its right-hand side, and weakly singular kernels. The obtained result is an extension of the Bihari, Henry, Pachpatte, and Pinto inequalities and results obtained by the author. Using these results, we prove sufficient conditions for the existence of global solutions of some nonlinear Volterra integral equations with singular kernels and n nonlinearities. Crack problems are solved by application of a system of singular integral equations in Hilbert space. The method consists of replacing the singular integral equation by a system of linear algebraic equations for the values of the unknown function at specially chosen points within the range of integration. Obtained is a solution for a nonsymmetric cross-shaped crack in an infinite and isotropic solid subjected to a constant pressure, the symmetric configuration being a special case.  相似文献

The method of singular integral equations is an efficient method for the formulation and numerical solution of plane and antiplane, static and dynamic, isotropic and anisotropic elasticity problems. Here we consider three cases of singular loadings of the elastic medium: by a force, by a moment and by a loading distribution with a simple pole. These loadings cause corresponding singularities in the right-hand side function and in the unknown function of the integral equation. A method for the numerical solution of the singular integral equation under the above singular loadings is proposed and the validity of this equation at the singular points is investigated.  相似文献

We use Noether's theorem to derive energy-momentum tensors for a simple elastic material, a nonsimple elastic material of grade two, a simple elastic dielectric and a nonsimple elastic dielectric of grade two. Representations of Galerkin type are obtained for the displacement vector, polarization vector and the potential fields in the static plane theory of elastic dielectrics using the method of associated matrices. Fundamental matrix solutions of an infinite elastic dielectric plane subjected to a concentrated body force, electric force and charge density are derived from the singular solutions of harmonic, biharmonic and Helmholtz equations. Using boundary operatorsY, Z, M, the fundamental matrix solutions, and Betti's formulae, a matrix (x, y) is constructed and an integral representation for (u 1,u 2,P 1,P 2, ) is obtained. Discontinuity theorems are stated for the double layer potential andQ operator of the single layer potential. By means of these theorems, the solutions of interior and exterior boundary value problems are reduced to the solution of a system of five singular integral equations. The index of one of the systems is shown to be zero and it is concluded that Fredholm theorems and its alternatives hold.
Zusammenfassung Durch Anwendung der Assoziativ-Matrizen-Methode werden Galerkinische Darstellungen für den Verschiebungsvektor, den Polarisierungsvektor und die potentiellen Prüffelder einer statischen ebenen Theorie des elastischen Dielektrikums entwickelt. Von den singulären Lösungen der harmonischen, biharmonischen und Helmholtz-Gleichungen werden grundlegende Matrizenlösungen für das unendliche, ebene und elastische Dielektrikum, das durch konzentrierte Raumkräfte, elektrische Kräfte und Ladungsdichte beansprucht wird, abgeleitet. Unter Verwendung der Randwert-OperatorenY, Z, M, der grundlegenden Matrizen-Lösungen und Betti's Formel, wird eine Spezial-Matrize (x, y) konstruiert und eine Integraldarstellung für (u 1,u 2,P 1,P 2, ) erhalten. Unstetigkeitssätze werden für das Doppelschicht-Potential und denQ-Operator eines einschichtigen Potentials angeführt. Durch Anwendung dieser Sätze werden die Lösungen der inneren und äusseren Grenzwertprobleme zur Lösung eines Systems von fünf singulären Integralgleichungen reduziert. Der Index eines der Systeme wird als Null bewiesen und es wird die Schlussfolgerung gezogen, dass der Fredholmsche Satz und seine Alternativen fur diese Theorie anwendbar sind.

It is shown that the coupled singular integral equations with trigonometric kernels appearing in the problem of adhesive contact between an elastic circular cylinder and two identical rigid compressive rollers may be reduced to a problem of Muskhelishvili type and may be explicitly solved. The scattering of harmonic transverse waves is studied in a layered solid half-space which is prestressed and electrically biased. Electromechanic modes propagating normally to the stratification planes are analyzed using a wave-splitting method and a sufficient condition is derived for the existence of the solution. The invariant imbedding technique is employed to obtain a differential equation for the reflectivity matrix. This equation is exploited to formulate the inverse problem whose solution is presented in an iterative form. A useful result is then established about the convergence of the series so determined.
Sommario Si studia la propagazione di onde armoniche trasversali in un semispazio occupato da un dielettrico elastico stratificato, soggetto a prestress ed elettricamente polarizzato. Si analizzano in particolare i modi elettromeccanici che si propagano normalmente ai piani di stratificazione facendo uso del metodo di wave-splitting e ottenendo una condizione sufficiente per l'esistenza della soluzione. Si riformula poi il problema mediante una equazione di Riccati per la matrice dei coefficienti di riflessione al fine di presentare una soluzione iterativa per il problema inverso. Si dimostra un utile risultato sulla convergenza di questa soluzione.

The equations governing the behaviour of an elastic dielectric in the quasi-static approximation are analysed in connection with the inverse problem of the calculus of variations. First, through compatibility with the potential conditions, the most general constitutive equations are derived which allow the model to admit a variational formulation. Then the explicit form of the Lagrangian density is determined. Consistent with the adoption of Lagrangian coordinates, the Lagrangian density ascribes to the dielectric the structure of a particle-like system.  相似文献
