在上世纪五十年代初,Zarankiewicz猜想完全2-部图Km,m(m≤n)的交叉数为[m/2][m-1/2][n/2][n-1/2](对任意实数x,[x]表示不超过x的最大整数),目前只证明了当m ≤ 6时,Zarankiewicz猜想是正确的.假定Zarankiewicz猜想对m=11的情形成立,本文确定完全3-部图K1,10,n的交叉数.  相似文献

In this paper,the problem of construction of exponentially many minimum genus embeddings of complete graphs in surfaces are studied.There are three approaches to solve this problem.The first approach is to construct exponentially many graphs by the theory of graceful labeling of paths;the second approach is to find a current assignment of the current graph by the theory of current graph;the third approach is to find exponentially many embedding(or rotation) schemes of complete graph by finding exponentially many distinct maximum genus embeddings of the current graph.According to this three approaches,we can construct exponentially many minimum genus embeddings of complete graph K_(12s+8) in orientable surfaces,which show that there are at least 10/3×(200/9)~s distinct minimum genus embeddings for K_(12s+8) in orientable surfaces.We have also proved that K_(12s+8) has at least 10/3×(200/9)~s distinct minimum genus embeddings in non-orientable surfaces.  相似文献

Let (W,S)(W,S) be a Coxeter system with a strictly complete Coxeter graph. The present paper concerns the set Red(z)Red(z) of all reduced expressions for any z∈WzW. By associating each bc-expression to a certain symbol, we describe the set Red(z)Red(z) and compute its cardinal |Red(z)||Red(z)| in terms of symbols. An explicit formula for |Red(z)||Red(z)| is deduced, where the Fibonacci numbers play a crucial role.  相似文献

We are concerned with the susceptible-infective-removed (SIR) model with random transition rates on complete graphs C n with n vertices. We assign independent and identically distributed (i.i.d.) copies of a positive random variable ξ on each vertex as the recovery rates and i.i.d. copies of a positive random variable ρ on each edge as the edge infection weights. We assume that a susceptible vertex is infected by an infective one at rate proportional to the edge weight on the edge connecting these two vertices while an infective vertex becomes removed with rate equals the recovery rate on it, then we show that the model performs the following phase transition when at t = 0 one vertex is infective and others are susceptible. There exists λ c > 0 such that when λ < λ c ; the proportion r∞ of vertices which have ever been infective converges to 0 weakly as n → +∞ while when λ > λ c ; there exist c(λ) > 0 and b(λ) > 0 such that for each n ≥ 1 with probability pb(λ); the proportion rc(λ): Furthermore, we prove that λ c is the inverse of the production of the mean of ρ and the mean of the inverse of ξ.  相似文献

We study the phase transition of the minimum degree multigraph process. We prove that for a constant hg ≈︁ 0.8607, with probability tending to 1 as n, the graph consists of small components on O(log n) vertices when the number of edges of a graph generated so far is smaller than hgn, the largest component has order roughly n2/3 when the number of edges added is exactly hgn, and the graph consists of one giant component on Θ(n) vertices and small components on O(log n) vertices when the number of edges added is larger than hgn. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We consider the following variant of the classical random graph process introduced by Erd?s and Rényi. Starting with an empty graph on n vertices, choose the next edge uniformly at random among all edges not yet considered, but only insert it if the graph remains planar. We show that for all ε > 0, with high probability, θ(n2) edges have to be tested before the number of edges in the graph reaches (1 + ε)n. At this point, the graph is connected with high probability and contains a linear number of induced copies of any fixed connected planar graph, the first property being in contrast and the second one in accordance with the uniform random planar graph model. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We study the following min-min random graph process G=(G0,G1,…): the initial state G0 is an empty graph on n vertices (n even). Further, GM+1 is obtained from GM by choosing a pair {v,w} of distinct vertices of minimum degree uniformly at random among all such pairs in GM and adding the edge {v,w}. The process may produce multiple edges. We show that GM is asymptotically almost surely disconnected if Mn, and that for M=(1+t)n, constant, the probability that GM is connected increases from 0 to 1. Furthermore, we investigate the number X of vertices outside the giant component of GM for M=(1+t)n. For constant we derive the precise limiting distribution of X. In addition, for n−1ln4nt=o(1) we show that tX converges to a gamma distribution.  相似文献

We prove that for every prime number p and odd m>1, as s→∞, there are at least w face 2‐colorable triangular embeddings of Kw, w, w, where w = m·ps. It is known that a necessary condition for the existence of a 1‐rotational 2‐factorization of the complete graph K2n+1 under the action of a group G of order 2n is that the involutions of G are pairwise conjugate. Is this condition also sufficient? The complete answer is still unknown. Adapting the composition technique shown in Buratti and Rinaldi, J Combin Des, 16 (2008), 87–100, we give a positive answer for new classes of groups; for example, the groups G whose involutions lie in the same conjugacy class and having a normal subgroup whose order is the greatest odd divisor of |G|. In particular, every group of order 4t+2 gives a positive answer.
