A transitive dynamical system is either sensitive or has a dense set of equicontinuity points [E. Akin, J. Auslander, K. Berg, When is a transitive map chaotic, in: Convergence in Ergodic Theory and Probability, Walter de Gruyter & Co., 1996, pp. 25-40]. We show that if a chain transitive system has shadowing property then it is either sensitive or all points are equicontinuous.  相似文献

A numerical scheme for the Reissner-Mindlin plate model is proposed.The method is based on a discrete Helmholtz decomposition and can be viewed as a generalization of the nonconforming finite element scheme of Arnold and Falk[SIAM J.Numer.Anal.,26(6):1276-1290,1989].The two unknowns in the discrete formulation are the in-plane rotations and the gradient of the vertical displacement.The decomposition of the discrete shear variable leads to equivalence with the usual Stokes system with penalty term plus two Poisson equations and the proposed method is equivalent to a stabilized discretization of the Stokes system that generalizes the Mini element.The method is proved to satisfy a best-approximation result which is robust with respect to the thickness parameter t.  相似文献

In this paper, we focus on the mathematical and numerical study of a new nonlocal reaction-diffusion system for image denoising. This model is motivated by involving the decomposition approach of $H^{-1}$ norm suggested by Meyer [25] which is more appropriate to represent the oscillatory patterns and small details in the textured image. Based on Schaeffer''s fixed point theorem, we prove the existence and uniqueness of solution of the proposed model. To illustrate the efficiency and effectiveness of our model, we test the denoising experimental results as well we compare with some existing models in the literature.  相似文献

We introduce p-quasi-local operators and the two-dimensional
dyadic Hardy spaces defined by the dyadic squares. It is proved that, if a sublinear operator is p-quasi-local and bounded from to , then it is also bounded from to . As an application it is shown that the maximal operator of the Cesàro means of a martingale is bounded from to and is of weak type (1,1) provided that the supremum in the maximal operator is taken over a positive cone. So we obtain the dyadic analogue of a summability result with respect to two-dimensional trigonometric Fourier series due to Marcinkievicz and Zygmund; more exactly, the Cesàro means of a function converge a.e. to the function in question, provided again that the limit is taken over a positive cone. Finally, it is verified that if we take the supremum in a cone, but for two-powers, only, then the maximal operator of the Cesàro means is bounded from to for every .

Summary. For a certain class of partial differential equations in cylindrical domains, we show that all small time-dependent solutions are described by a reduced system of equations on the real line, which contains nonlocal terms. As an application, we investigate the system describing nonlinear water waves travelling on the free surface of an inviscid fluid. Two-dimensional gravity waves are characterized by the parameter λ , the inverse square of the Froude number. For λ close to the critical value λ 0 =1 , we obtain a reduced system of four nonlocal equations. We show that the terms of lowest order in μ=λ-1 lead to the Korteweg—de Vries equation for the lowest-order approximation of the free surface. A nonlinear Hilbert-space-valued stochastic differential equation where L -1 (L being the generator of the evolution semigroup) is not nuclear is investigated in this paper. Under the assumption of nuclearity of L -1 , the existence of a unique solution lying in the Hilbert space H has been shown by Dawson in an early paper. When L -1 is not nuclear, a solution in most cases lies not in H but in a larger Hilbert, Banach, or nuclear space. Part of the motivation of this paper is to prove under suitable conditions that a unique strong solution can still be found to lie in the space H itself. Uniqueness of the weak solution is proved without moment assumptions on the initial random variable. A second problem considered is the asymptotic behavior of the sequence of empirical measures determined by the solutions of an interacting system of H -valued diffusions. It is shown that the sequence converges in probability to the unique solution Λ 0 of the martingale problem posed by the corresponding McKean—Vlasov equation. Accepted 4 April 1996  相似文献

We analyze an ideal transmission line, which is defined by the telegraph equation with variable coefficients, from the perspectives of numerical analysis and control theory in this note. Because the spatially semi-discrete scheme of the original system is insufficient for discussing uniform exponential stability, we apply a similar transform to the continuous system and produce an intermediate system that may be easily analyzed. To begin, we discuss uniform exponential stability for the intermediate system using an so called average central-difference semi-discrete scheme and the direct Lyapunov function approach. The proof is the same as in the continuous case. The Trotter-Kato Theorem is used to demonstrate the stability and consistency of numerical approximation scheme. Finally, we propose a semi-discrete strategy for the original system through an inverse transform. All results on intermediate system are then translated into the original system. The numerical state reconstruction problem is addressed as an essential application of the main results. Furthermore, several numerical simulations are used to validate the effectiveness of the numerical approximating algorithms.  相似文献

基于单重休假Geo/Geo/1排队系统,研究顾客的均衡止步策略,首次将休假服务机制引入到离散时间排队经济学模型中. 顾客基于“收入--支出”结构,自主决定去留. 利用拟生灭过程理论,运用差分方程求解技巧,对系统进行了稳态分析,得到了顾客的平均逗留时间;进而构造适当的函数,给出了寻找均衡止步策略的具体方法并证明之;而后分析了在均衡策略下, 系统的稳态行为和社会收益;最后通过数值实验讨论了系统参数对均衡行为的影响.  相似文献

Fix . Consider the random walk on the circle which proceeds by repeatedly rotating points forward or backward, with probability , by an angle . This paper analyzes the rate of convergence of this walk to the uniform distribution under ``discrepancy' distance. The rate depends on the continued fraction properties of the number . We obtain bounds for rates when is any irrational, and a sharp rate when is a quadratic irrational. In that case the discrepancy falls as (up to constant factors), where is the number of steps in the walk. This is the first example of a sharp rate for a discrete walk on a continuous state space. It is obtained by establishing an interesting recurrence relation for the distribution of multiples of which allows for tighter bounds on terms which appear in the Erdös-Turán inequality.

带乘性噪声的空间分数阶随机非线性Schrödinger方程是一类重要的方程,可应用于描述开放非局部量子系统的演化过程.该方程为一个无穷维分数阶随机Hamilton系统,且具有广义多辛结构和质量守恒的性质.针对该方程的广义多辛形式,在空间上采用拟谱方法离散分数阶微分算子,在时间上则采用隐式中点格式,构造出一类保持全局质量的广义多辛格式.对行波解和平面波解等进行数值模拟,结果验证了所构造格式的有效性和保结构性质,时间均方收敛阶约在0.5到1之间.  相似文献
