In the framework of the non-relativistic quark model, an exhaustive study of radiative transitions in mesons is performed.
Emphasis is placed on several points. Some traditional approximations (long-wavelength limit, non-relativistic phase space,
dipole approximation for E1 transitions, Gaussian wave functions) are analyzed and their effects commented. A complete treatment using three different
types of realistic quark-antiquark potential is made. The overall agreement with experimental data is quite good, but some
improvements are suggested.

We present the results of the current analysis of the partial wave IJ
PC = 00+ + based on the available data for meson spectra ( ππ, KˉK,ηη,η,ππππ). In the framework of the K-matrix approach, the analytical amplitude has been reconstructed in the mass region 280 MeV < < 1900 MeV. The following scalar-isoscalar states are seen: comparatively narrow resonances f
0(980), f
0(1300), f
0(1500), f
0(1750) and the broad state f0(1200-1600). The positions of the amplitude poles (masses and total widths of the resonances) are determined as well as pole
residues (partial widths to meson channels ππ, KˉK,ηη,η,ππππ). The fitted amplitude gives us the positions of the K-matrix poles (bare states) and the values of bare-state couplings to meson channels thus allowing the quark-antiquark nonet
classification of bare states. On the basis of the obtained partial widths to the channels ππ, KˉK,ηη,η, we estimate the quark/gluonium content of f
0(980), f
0(1300), f
0(1500), f
0(1750), f0(1200-1600). For f
0(980), f
0(1300), f
0(1500) and f
0(1750), their partial widths testify the qˉq origin of these mesons though being unable to provide precise evaluation of the possible admixture of the gluonium component
in these resonances. The ratios of the decay coupling constants for the f0(1200-1600) support the idea about the gluonium nature of this broad state.

In the framework of the dispersion relation N/D-approach, we restore the low-energy
(IJ
PC = 00+ +)-wave amplitude sewing it with the previously obtained K-matrix solution for the region 450-1900 MeV. The restored N/D-amplitude has a pole on the second sheet of the complex-s plane near the
threshold, that is the light -meson.

Ground-state scalar isoscalar mesons and a scalar glueball are described in a U(3)×U(3) chiral quark model of the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio (NJL) type with 't Hooft interaction. The latter interaction produces singlet-octet
mixing in the scalar and pseudoscalar sectors. The glueball is introduced into the effective meson Lagrangian as a dilaton
on the base of scale invariance. The mixing of the glueball with scalar isoscalar quarkonia and amplitudes of their decays
into two pseudoscalar mesons are shown to be proportional to current quark masses, vanishing in the chiral limit. Mass spectra
of the scalar mesons and the glueball and their main modes of strong decay are described.

This paper is a sequel of a previous one (Scalar mesons in a chiral quark model with glueball, Eur. Phys. J. A 8, 567 (2000)) where an attempt to construct an effective U(3)×U(3)-symmetric meson Lagrangian with a scalar glueball was made. The glueball was introduced by using the dilaton model on
the base of scale invariance. The scale invariance breaking because of current quark masses and the scale anomaly of QCD,
reproduced by the dilaton potential, was taken into account. However, in the previous paper, the scale invariance breaking
because of the terms like h
φφ2 and h
σ
, where φ and are the pseudoscalar and scalar isosinglets, was not taken into account. These terms are produced by the part of the 't Hooft
interaction that is connected with gluon anomalies. Allowing for the scale invariance breaking by these terms has a decisive
effect on the quarkonium-glueball mixing and noticeably changes the widths of glueball strong decays. Taking account of this
additional source of the scale invariance breaking and its implications are the subject of the present work. It is also shown
that in the decay of a glueball into four pions, the channel with two ρ-resonances dominates.

We investigate η- mixing in infrared regularized U(3) chiral perturbation theory by calculating the η and masses up to one-loop order. From this analysis it becomes obvious that even at leading order η--mixing does not obey the usually assumed one-mixing-angle scheme if large N
c counting rules are not employed.

A ππ, ˉKK, and ρρ(ωω) fully coupled channel model is used to predict the lowest isospin S, P, D, F-wave phase shifts and inelasticities
for elastic ππ scattering from threshold to 2.0 GeV. As input the S-matrix is required to exhibit poles corresponding to the
meson resonance table of the Particle Data Group. As expected, the ππ inelasticity is very strongly related to the opening
of the ˉK channel near 1 GeV, and the opening of ρρ(4π) and ωω(6π) channels in the 1.5 GeV region. The predictions of this model are
compared to the various elastic ππ→ππ amplitudes, that were obtained from analyses of π− p →π−π+n data. The role of the various resonances, in particular the glueball candidate f
0(1500) and the f
J(1710) is investigated.

We perform a calculation of the absolute charged current neutrino-oxygen events rates relevant in the atmospheric neutrino
experiments. The inclusive reaction cross-section is split into exclusive channels, which are classified according to the
number of Čerenkov rings they produce. The model includes the effects of residual interaction in a RPA scheme with both nucleon-hole
and Delta-hole excited states and the effects of (np-nh) excitations (n=2,3). Our result is that although the flavor ratio μ/e remains almost unaffected by the nuclear effects considered here and often neglected in the Monte-Carlo simulations, the
absolute events rates are subject to important modifications.

We calculate the decay of pionium atoms into two photons. The pion polarizabilities give rise to a 10% correction to the corresponding
decay width for pointlike pions. This opens the possibility to obtain the difference between the electric and magnetic polarizability
of the charged pion from a future measurement of the branching fraction of pionium into two photons. For such an experiment
the ππ-scattering lengths would have to be known to better than 5% precision. We also comment on the contribution of the axial
anomaly to the decay of pionium into γπ0.

A role of the axial-vector mesons, such as K1 and a1, on the emitted-photon spectrum in hot hadronic matter is studied through the channels πρ→a
1→πγ and Kρ→K
1→Kγ. Both channels could be dominant over the region lower than E
γ∼ 0.5 GeV, while the role of the K1 meson is diminished in the higher E
γ region. This study is carried out with an SU
L(3) ⊗SU
R(3) effective chiral Lagrangian which includes vector and axial-vector mesons systematically and explains well their hadronic
and radiative decays simultaneously.

A model for a Regge trajectory compatible with the threshold behavior required by unitarity and asymptotics in agreement with
analyticity constraints is given in explicit form. The model is confronted in the time-like region with widths and masses
of the mesonic resonances and, in the space-like region, the ρ trajectory is compared with predictions derived from the π-N charge-exchange reaction. Breaking of the exchange degeneracy is studied in the model and its effect on both the masses and
widths is determined.

The Compton scattering on a charged pion and the process γγ→π0π0 are studied using the dispersion relations. Unknown parameters of the S-wave ππ interaction and a sum and a difference of the π0 meson polarizabilities are found from a fit to the experimental data for the γγ→π0π0 process. The found parameters of the ππ interaction are used for the calculation of the cross section of the elastic γπ± scattering. The analysis of the obtained results shows that the experimental data for the elastic γπ± scattering in the energy region up to 1 GeV together with the data for the γγ→π0π0 process could be used both for a determination of the pion polarizability values and for study of the S-wave ππ interaction.

We discuss the applicability of pQCD to the elastic scattering of electrons on protons and deuterons. We analyze the Q2-dependence of the reduced deuteron form factor, taking into account the recent data on the electric proton form factor and
we find that the value of the QCD-scale parameter Λ differs essentially from the value Λ = 0.1 GeV, previously found using
the dipole parametrization of the electromagnetic nucleon form factors GE and GM. Moreover, the predicted scaling behavior of the reduced deuteron form factor cannot be recovered in the Dirac and Pauli
representations for the nucleon electromagnetic form factors.

We study the scaling of the 3S1-1S0 meson mass splitting and the pseudoscalar weak-decay constants with the mass of the meson, as seen in the available experimental
data. We use an effective light-front QCD-inspired dynamical model regulated at short distances to describe the valence component
of the pseudoscalar mesons. The experimentally known values of the mass splitting, decay constants (from global lattice-QCD
averages) and the pion charge form factor up to 4 [GeV/c]2 are reasonably described by the model. 相似文献

An extensive and systematic study of the recent η photo-production data up to 1.2 GeV is presented within a chiral constituent
quark model. A model embodying all known nucleonic resonances shows clear need for a yet undiscovered third S11 resonance in the second resonance region, for which we determine the mass (1.729 GeV) and the total width (183 MeV). Furthermore,
we extract the configuration mixing angles, an important property of the quark-quark interaction in the quark model, for the
resonances S
11(1535) and S
11(1650), as well as for the resonances D
13(1520) and D

13(1720), D

In terms of effective field theory and mixed-propagator approach, we show that there is a larger hidden effect of isospin
breaking in ρ→πγ decay due to a ω exchange, ρ→ω→πγ. The branching ratio is predicted as B(ρ→πγ) = (11.67±2.0)×10-4, which is much larger than Particle Data Group's datum (6.8±1.7)×10-4 and one of charged mode, B(ρ±→π±γ) = (4.5±0.5)×10-4.
