Seven new Cu(II) complexes based on a binuclear planar unit [Cu(mu-L(1))](2), [[Cu(mu-L(1))(NO(3))(H(2)O)](2) (1), [Cu(mu-L(1))(HL(1))(ClO(4))](2) (2), [Cu(4)(mu-L(1))(6)(NO(3))(2)] (3), [Cu(4)(mu-L(1))(6)(L(1))(2)] (4), [Cu(4)(mu-L(1))(6)(mu-L(2))](n) (5), [Cu(4)(mu-L(1))(6)(mu-L(3))](n) (6), [[Cu(4)(mu-L(1))(4)(mu-L(4))(2)](H(2)O)(3)](n) (7) (HL(1) = 3-(2-pyridyl)pyrazole, L(2) = 1,8-naphthalenedicarboxylate, L(3) = terephthalate, L(4) = 2,6-pyridinedicarboxylate)}, have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, and X-ray diffraction. In 1 and 2, the Cu(II) centers are linked by deprotonated pyrazolyl groups to form dinuclear structures. 3 and 4 have similar gridlike tetranuclear structures in which two additional deprotonated L(1) ligands bridge two [Cu(mu-L(1))](2) units perpendicularly. 5 and 6 consist of similar one-dimensional (1-D) chains in which gridlike tetranuclear copper(II) units similar to that of 3 are further linked by L(2) or L(3) ligands, respectively. And, in 7, L(4) ligands link [Cu(mu-L(1))](2) binuclear units to form a tetranuclear gridlike structure in chelating/bridging mode and simultaneously bridge the tetranuclear units to form a 1-D chain. The magnetic properties of all complexes were studied by variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility and magnetization measurements. The obtained parameters of J range from -33.1 to -211 cm(-1), indicating very strong antiferromagnetic coupling between Cu(II) ions. The main factor that affects the |J| parameter is the geometry of the Cu(N(2))(2)Cu entity. From the magnetic point of view, 1 and 2 feature "pure" dinuclear, 3 and 5 tetranuclear, and 4, 6, and 7 pseudodinuclear moieties.  相似文献

Four bis-tetradentate N(4)-substituted-3,5-{bis[bis-N-(2-pyridinemethyl)]aminomethyl}-4H-1,2,4-triazole ligands, L(Tz1)-L(Tz4), differing only in the triazole N(4) substituent R (where R is amino, pyrrolyl, phenyl, or 4-tertbutylphenyl, respectively) have been synthesized, characterized, and reacted with M(II)(BF(4))(2)·6H(2)O (M(II) = Cu, Ni or Co) and Co(SCN)(2). Experiments using all 16 possible combinations of metal salt and L(TzR) were carried out: 14 pure complexes were obtained, 11 of which are dinuclear, while the other three are tetranuclear. The dinuclear complexes include two copper(II) complexes, [Cu(II)(2)(L(Tz2))(H(2)O)(4)](BF(4))(4) (2), [Cu(II)(2)(L(Tz4))(BF(4))(2)](BF(4))(2) (4); two nickel(II) complexes, [Ni(II)(2)(L(Tz1))(H(2)O)(3)(CH(3)CN)](BF(4))(4)·0.5(CH(3)CN) (5) and [Ni(II)(2)(L(Tz4))(H(2)O)(4)](BF(4))(4)·H(2)O (8); and seven cobalt(II) complexes, [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz1))(μ-BF(4))](BF(4))(3)·H(2)O (9), [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz2))(μ-BF(4))](BF(4))(3)·2H(2)O (10), [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz3))(H(2)O)(2)](BF(4))(4) (11), [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz4))(μ-BF(4))](BF(4))(3)·3H(2)O (12), [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz1))(SCN)(4)]·3H(2)O (13), [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz2))(SCN)(4)]·2H(2)O (14), and [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz3))(SCN)(4)]·H(2)O (15). The tetranuclear complexes are [Cu(II)(4)(L(Tz1))(2)(H(2)O)(2)(BF(4))(2)](BF(4))(6) (1), [Cu(II)(4)(L(Tz3))(2)(H(2)O)(2)(μ-F)(2)](BF(4))(6)·0.5H(2)O (3), and [Ni(II)(4)(L(Tz3))(2)(H(2)O)(4)(μ-F(2))](BF(4))(6)·6.5H(2)O (7). Single crystal X-ray structure determinations revealed different solvent content from that found by microanalysis of the bulk sample after drying under a vacuum and confirmed that 5', 8', 9', 11', 12', and 15' are dinuclear while 1' and 7' are tetranuclear. As expected, magnetic measurements showed that weak antiferromagnetic intracomplex interactions are present in 1, 2, 4, 7, and 8, stabilizing a singlet spin ground state. All seven of the dinuclear cobalt(II) complexes, 9-15, have similar magnetic behavior and remain in the [HS-HS] state between 300 and 1.8 K.  相似文献

In our efforts to systematically investigate the effects of the linker units of flexible ligands and other factors on the structures of Ag(I) complexes with thioethers, five new flexible pyridyl thioether ligands, bis(2-pyridylthio)methane (L(1)()), 1,3-bis(2-pyridylthio)propane (L(3)()), 1,4-bis(2-pyridylthio)butane (L(4)), 1,5-bis(2-pyridylthio)pentane (L(5)), and 1,6-bis(2-pyridylthio)hexane (L(6)), have been designed and synthesized, and the reactions of these ligands with Ag(I) salts under varied conditions (varying the solvents and counteranions) lead to the formation of eight novel metal-organic coordination architectures from di- and trinuclear species to two-dimensional networks: [Ag(3)(L(1)())(2)(ClO(4))(2)](ClO(4)) (1), [[AgL(3)](ClO(4))]( infinity ) (2), [[Ag(2)(L(4))(2)](ClO(4))(2)(CHCl(3))]( infinity ) (3), [[AgL(4)](ClO(4))(C(3)H(6)O)]( infinity ) (4), [[Ag(2)L(4)](NO(3))(2)]( infinity ) (5), [Ag(2)L(4)()(CF(3)SO(3))(2)]( infinity ) (6), [[AgL(5)](ClO(4))(CHCl(3))](2) (7), and [[AgL(6)()](ClO(4))]( infinity ) (8). All the structures were established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The coordination modes of these ligands were found to vary from N,N-bidentate to N,N,S-tridentate to N,N,S,S-tetradentate modes, while the Ag(I) centers adopt two-, three-, or four-coordination geometries with different coordination environments. The structural differences of 1, 2, 3, 7, and 8 indicate that the subtle variations on the spacer units can greatly affect the coordination modes of the terminal pyridylsulfanyl groups and the coordination geometries of Ag(I) ions. The structural differences of 3 and 4 indicate that solvents also have great influence on the structures of Ag(I) complexes, and the differences between 3, 5, and 6 show counteranion effects in polymerization of Ag(I) complexes. The influences of counterions and solvents on the frameworks of these complexes are probably based upon the flexibility of ligands and the wide coordination geometries of Ag(I) ions. The results of this study indicate that the frameworks of the Ag(I) complexes with pyridyl dithioethers could be adjusted by ligand modifications and variations of the complex formation conditions.  相似文献

The reaction of CuX(2) (X(-) ≠ F(-)) salts with 1 equiv of 3-pyridyl-5-tert-butylpyrazole (HL) in basic methanol yields blue solids, from which disk complexes of the type [Cu(7)(μ(3)-OH)(4)(μ-OR)(2)(μ-L)(6)](2+) and/or the cubane [Cu(4)(μ(3)-OH)(4)(HL)(4)](4+) can be isolated by recrystallization under the appropriate conditions. Two of the disk complexes have been prepared in crystalline form: [Cu(7)(μ(3)-OH)(4)(μ-OCH(2)CF(3))(2)(μ-L)(6)][BF(4)](2) (2) and [Cu(7)(μ(3)-OH)(4)(μ-OCH(3))(2)(μ-L)(6)]Cl(2)·xCH(2)Cl(2) (3·xCH(2)Cl(2)). The molecular structures of both compounds as solvated crystals can be described as [Cu?Cu(6)(μ-OH)(4)(μ-OR)(2)(μ-L)(6)](2+) (R = CH(2)CF(3) or CH(3)) adducts. The [Cu(6)(μ-OH)(4)(μ-OR)(2)(μ-L)(6)] ring is constructed of six square-pyramidal Cu ions, linked by 1,2-pyrazolido bridges from the L(-) ligands and by basal, apical-bridging hydroxy or alkoxy groups, while the central Cu ion is bound to the four metallamacrocyclic hydroxy donors in a near-regular square-planar geometry. The L(-) ligands project above and below the metal ion core, forming two bowl-shaped cavities that are fully (R = CH(2)CF(3)) or partially (R = CH(3)) occupied by the alkoxy R substituents. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements on 2 demonstrated antiferromagnetic interactions between the Cu ions, yielding a spin-frustrated S = (1)/(2) magnetic ground state that is fully populated below around 15 K. Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, UV/vis/near-IR, and electron paramagnetic resonance measurements imply that the heptacopper(II) disk motif is robust in organic solvents.  相似文献

The reactions of the dinuclear copper complexes [Cu(2)(L)(OAc)] [H(3)L = N,N'-(2-hydroxypropane-1,3-diyl)bis(salicylaldimine) or [Cu(2)(L')(OAc)] (H(3)L' = N,N'-(2-hydroxypropane-1,3-diyl)bis(4,5-dimethylsalicylaldimine)] with various phosphonic acids, RPO(3)H(2) (R = t-Bu, Ph, c-C(5)H(9), c-C(6)H(11) or 2,4,6-i-Pr(3)-C(6)H(2)), leads to the replacement of the acetate bridge affording tetranuclear copper(II) phosphonates, [Cu(4)(L)(2)(t-BuPO(3))](CH(3)OH)(2)(C(6)H(6)) (1), [Cu(4)(L)(2)(PhPO(3))(H(2)O)(2)(NMe(2)CHO)](H(2)O)(2) (2), [Cu(4)(L')(2)(C(5)H(9)PO(3))](CH(3)OH)(2) (3), [Cu(4)(L')(2)(C(6)H(11)PO(3)](MeOH)(4)(H(2)O)(2) (4) and [Cu(4)(L')(2)(C(30)H(46)P(2)O(5))](PhCH(3)) (5). The molecular structures of 1-4 reveal that a [RPO(3)](2-) ligand is involved in holding the four copper atoms together by a 4.211 coordination mode. In 5, an in situ formed [(RPO(2))(2)O](4-) ligand bridges two pairs of the dinuclear subunits. Magnetic studies on these complexes reveal that the phosphonate ligand is an effective conduit for magnetic interaction among the four copper centers present; a predominantly antiferromagnetic interaction is observed at low temperatures.  相似文献

Reactions of copper(II) with 3-phenylhydrazopentane-2,4-diones X-2-C(6)H(4)-NHN=C{C(=O)CH(3)}(2) bearing a substituent in the ortho-position [X = OH (H(2)L(1)) 1, AsO(3)H(2) (H(3)L(2)) 2, Cl (HL(3)) 3, SO(3)H (H(2)L(4)) 4, COOCH(3) (HL(5)) 5, COOH (H(2)L(6)) 6, NO(2) (HL(7)) 7 or H (HL(8)) 8] lead to a variety of complexes including the monomeric [CuL(4)(H(2)O)(2)]·H(2)O 10, [CuL(4)(H(2)O)(2)] 11 and [Cu(HL(4))(2)(H(2)O)(4)] 12, the dimeric [Cu(2)(H(2)O)(2)(μ-HL(2))(2)] 9 and the polymeric [Cu(μ-L(6))](n)] 13 ones, often bearing two fused six-membered metallacycles. Complexes 10-12 can interconvert, depending on pH and temperature, whereas the Cu(II) reactions with 4 in the presence of cyanoguanidine or imidazole (im) afford the monomeric compound [Cu(H(2)O)(4){NCNC(NH(2))(2)}(2)](HL(4))(2)·6H(2)O 14 and the heteroligand polymer [Cu(μ-L(4))(im)](n)15, respectively. The compounds were characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction (complexes), electrochemical and thermogravimetric studies, as well as elemental analysis, IR, (1)H and (13)C NMR spectroscopies (diones) and ESI-MS. The effects of the substituents in 1-8 on the HOMO-LUMO gap and the relative stability of the model compounds [Cu(OH)(L(8))(H(2)O)]·H(2)O, [Cu(L(1))(H(2)O)(2)]·H(2)O and [Cu(L(4))(H(2)O)(2)]·H(2)O are discussed on the basis of DFT calculations that show the stabilization follows the order: two fused 6-membered > two fused 6-membered/5-membered > one 6-membered metallacycles. Complexes 9, 10, 12 and 13 act as catalyst precursors for the peroxidative oxidation (with H(2)O(2)) of cyclohexane to cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone, in MeCN/H(2)O (total yields of ca. 20% with TONs up to 566), under mild conditions.  相似文献

By systematically varying the geometric length and electronic properties of the second ligating ligands of halogen (Cl(-), Br(-), and I(-)) and pseudohalogen (CN(-), SCN(-), and N(3)(-)) anions, we synthesized 11 isomeric/isostructural copper(I) complexes: [Cu(2)(L3-3)I](n) (1), [Cu(2)(L4-4)Br](n) (2-Br), [Cu(2)(L4-4)Cl](n) (2-Cl), [Cu(2)(L3-4)(CN)](n) (3), [Cu(2)(L3-3)(CN)](n) (4), [Cu(3)(L4-4)(CN)(2)](n) (5), {[Cu(2)(L4-4)Br](2)·CuBr}(n) (6-Br), {[Cu(2)(L4-4)Cl](2)·CuCl}(n) (6-Cl), [Cu(2)(L4-4)(SCN)](n) (7α-SCN), [Cu(2)(L4-4)(SCN)](n) (7β-SCN), and [Cu(2)(L4-4)(N(3))](n) (7α-N(3)). These structures are based on a series of isomeric pyridylpyrazole ligands, namely, 3,5-bis(3-pyridyl)-1H-pyrazole (HL3-3), 3-(3-pyridyl)-5-(4-pyridyl)-1H-pyrazole (HL3-4), and 3,5-bis(4-pyridyl)-1H-pyrazole (HL4-4), and their structural features range from 1-D (1), 2-D (2), and 3-D noninterpenetration (3), to 3-D 2-fold interpenetration (4 and 5), to 3-D self-catenation (6 and 7), exhibiting a trend from simple to complex with dimension expansion and an interpenetrating degree increase. The five most complex structures (6 and 7) with self-catenated networks are based on 2-fold interpenetrated networks linked via appropriate second ligating spacers (Cl(-), Br(-), SCN(-), and N(3)(-)), representing a strategy to construct self-catenated coordination polymers through cross-linking interpenetrated frameworks. Moreover, these complexes exhibit strong photoluminescence, which is mainly ascribed to Cu(I)-related charge transfers (MLCT, MC, and MMLCT) regulated by the electronic properties of halogen or pseudohalogen. The topological evolution and luminescence variation presented in this work open an avenue to understanding the luminescence origin and the structure-property relationship of luminescent coordination polymers.  相似文献

Reactions of Pt(diimine)(tdt) (tdt =3,4-toluenedithiolate) with [M(2)(dppm)(2)(MeCN)(2)](2+) (M = Cu(I) or Ag(I), dppm = bis(diphenylphosphino)methane) gave heterotrinuclear complexes [PtCu(2)(tdt)(mu-SH)(dppm)(3)](ClO(4)) (1) and [PtCu(2)(diimine)(2)(tdt)(dppm)(2)](ClO(4))(2) (diimine = 2,2'-bpyridine (bpy) 2; 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine (dmbpy) 3; phenanthroline (phen) 4, 5-bromophenanthroline (Brphen) 5) for M = Cu(I), but [PtAg(2)(tdt)(mu-SH)(dppm)(3)](SbF(6)) (6) and [PtAg(2)(diimine)(tdt)(dppm)(2)](SbF(6))(2) (diimine = bpy 7; dmbpy 8; phen 9; Brphen 10) for M = Ag(I). While the complexes [PtAg(2)(diimine)(tdt)(dppm)(2)](SbF(6))(2) (7-10) result from linkage of Pt(diimine)(tdt) and [M(2)(dppm)(2)(MeCN)(2)](2+) by tdt sulfur donors, formation of [PtCu(2)(diimine)(2)(tdt)(dppm)(2)](ClO(4))(2) (2-5) is related to rupture of metal-ligand bonds in the metal components and recombination between the ligands and the metal atoms by self-assembly. The formation of 1 and 6 is involved not only in dissociation and recombination of the metal components, but also in disruption of C-S bonds in the dithiolate (tdt). The dithiolate tdt adopts a chelating and bridging coordination mode in anti conformation for [PtCu(2)(diimine)(2)(tdt)(dppm)(2)](ClO(4))(2) (2-5), whereas there is the syn conformation for other complexes. Compounds 1 and 6 represent sparse examples of mu-SH-bridged heterotrinuclear Pt(II)M(I)(2) complexes, in which Pt(II)-M(I) centers are bridged by dppm and sulfur donors of tdt, whereas M(I)-M(I) (M = Cu for 1; Ag for 6) centers are linked by dppm and the mu-SH donor. The (31)P NMR spectra show typical platinum satellites (J(Pt-P) = 1450-1570 Hz) for 1-6 and Ag-P coupling for Pt(II)-Ag(I) (J(Ag-P) = 350-450 Hz) complexes 6-10. All of the complexes show intense emission in the solid state and in frozen glasses at 77 K. The complexes [PtAg(2)(diimine)(tdt)(dppm)(2)](SbF(6))(2) (7-10) also afford emission in fluid acetonitrile solutions at room temperature. Solid-state emission lifetimes at room temperature are in the microsecond range. It is revealed that emission energies of the trinuclear heterometallic complexes [PtAg(2)(diimine)(tdt)(dppm)(2)](SbF(6))(2) (7-10) exhibit a remarkable blue shift (0.10-0.35 eV) relative to those of the precursor compounds Pt(diimine)(tdt). The crystal structures of 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 9 were determined by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

Six new metal-organic coordination networks based on linking unit 2,5-bis(4-pyridyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazole (L(1)) or 2,5-bis(3-pyridyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole (L(3)) and inorganic Cu(II), Cd(II), and Co(II) salts have been prepared and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray analysis. Using L(1) to react with three different Cu(II) salts, Cu(OAc)(2).H(2)O, Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, and CuSO(4).5H(2)O, respectively, two different one-dimensional (1-D) coordination polymers, [[Cu(2)L(1)(mu-OAc)(4)](CHCl(3))(2)](n) (1) [triclinic, space group P1, a = 7.416(3) A, b = 8.207(3) A, c = 14.137(5) A, alpha = 100.333(7) degrees, beta = 105.013(6) degrees, gamma = 94.547(6) degrees, Z = 1] and [[CuL(1)(NO(3))(2)](CHCl(3))(0.5)](n) (2) [monoclinic, space group C2/c, a = 28.070(8) A, b = 9.289(3) A, c = 15.235(4) A, beta = 113.537(5) degrees, Z = 8], and a chiral 3-D open framework, [[CuL(1)(H(2)O)(SO(4))](H(2)O)(2)](n) (3) [orthorhombic, space group P2(1)2(1)2(1), a = 5.509(2) A, b = 10.545(4) A, c = 29.399(11) A, Z = 4], were obtained. Reaction of L(1) and Cd(ClO(4))(2).6H(2)O or Co(ClO(4))(2).6H(2)O, in the presence of NH(4)SCN, yielded another 3-D open framework, [[CdL(1)(NCS)(2)](CH(3)OH)(1.5)](n) (4) [monoclinic, space group C2/c, a = 28.408(10) A, b = 9.997(5) A, c = 7.358(4) A, beta = 99.013(8) degrees, Z = 4], or a 2-D network, [[Co(L(1)())(2)(NCS)(2)](H(2)O)(2.5)](n) (5) [orthorhombic, space group Pnna, a = 22.210(5) A, b = 12.899(3) A, c = 20.232(4) A, Z = 4]. When L(1) was replaced by L(3) to react with Co(ClO(4))(2).6H(2)O and NH(4)SCN, another 2-D coordination polymer, [Co(L(3))(2)(NCS)(2)](n) (6) [monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c, a = 8.120(3) A, b = 9.829(4) A, c = 17.453(6) A, beta = 103.307(6) degrees, Z = 2], was constructed. These results indicate that the nature of the ligands, metal centers, or counteranions plays the critical role in construction of these novel coordination polymers. The interesting porous natures of two 3-D open frameworks 3 and 4 were investigated by TGA and XPRD techniques, and the magnetic properties of the Cu(II) and Co(II) complexes were studied by variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility and magnetization measurements.  相似文献

The reaction of [M(CN)(6)](3-) (M = Cr(3+), Mn(3+), Fe(3+), Co(3+)) and [M(CN)(8)](4-/3-) (M = Mo(4+/5+), W(4+/5+)) with the trinuclear copper(II) complex of 1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triyltris[3-(1,3,5,8,12-pentaazacyclotetradecane)] ([Cu(3)(L)](6+)) leads to partially encapsulated cyanometalates. With hexacyanometalate(III) complexes, [Cu(3)(L)](6+) forms the isostructural host-guest complexes [[[Cu(3)(L)(OH(2))(2)][M(CN)(6)](2)][M(CN)(6)]][M(CN)(6)]30 H(2)O with one bridging, two partially encapsulated, and one isolated [M(CN)(6)](3-) unit. The octacyanometalates of Mo(4+/5+) and W(4+/5+) are encapsulated by two tris-macrocyclic host units. Due to the stability of the +IV oxidation state of Mo and W, only assemblies with [M(CN)(8)](4-) were obtained. The Mo(4+) and W(4+) complexes were crystallized in two different structural forms: [[Cu(3)(L)(OH(2))](2)[Mo(CN)(8)]](NO(3))(8)15 H(2)O with a structural motif that involves isolated spherical [[Cu(3)(L)(OH(2))](2)[M(CN)(8)]](8+) ions and a "string-of-pearls" type of structure [[[Cu(3)(L)](2)[M(CN)(8)]][M(CN)(8)]](NO(3))(4) 20 H(2)O, with [M(CN)(8)](4-) ions that bridge the encapsulated octacyanometalates in a two-dimensional network. The magnetic exchange coupling between the various paramagnetic centers is characterized by temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility and field-dependent magnetization data. Exchange between the CuCu pairs in the [Cu(3)(L)](6+) "ligand" is weakly antiferromagnetic. Ferromagnetic interactions are observed in the cyanometalate assemblies with Cr(3+), exchange coupling of Mn(3+) and Fe(3+) is very small, and the octacoordinate Mo(4+) and W(4+) systems have a closed-shell ground state.  相似文献

Reaction of Cu(ClO(4))(2) x 6H(2)O with a racemic mixture of the novel chiral ligand N-(1,2-bis(2-pyridyl)ethyl)pyridine-2-carboxamide (PEAH) affords only the homochiral dimeric copper(II) complexes [Cu(2)((R)()PEA)(2)](ClO(4))(2) and [Cu(2)((S)()PEA)(2)](ClO(4))(2) in a 1:1 ratio. The phenomenon of molecular self-recognition is also observed when a racemic mixture of the monomeric copper(II) complex [Cu((R(S))()PEA)(Cl)(H(2)O)] is converted into the homochiral dimeric species [Cu(2)((R(S))()PEA)(2)](ClO(4))(2) via reaction with Ag(+) ion. This is the first report of direct conversion of a racemic mixture of a chiral monomeric copper(II) complex to a mixture of the homochiral dimers.  相似文献

The reaction of the neutral binuclear complexes [(R(F))(2)Pt(μ-PPh(2))(2)M(phen)] (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, R(F) = C(6)F(5); M = Pt, 1; M = Pd, 2) with AgClO(4) or [Ag(OClO(3))(PPh(3))] affords the trinuclear complexes [AgPt(2)(μ-PPh(2))(2)(R(F))(2)(phen)(OClO(3))] (7a) or [AgPtM(μ-PPh(2))(2)(R(F))(2)(phen)(PPh(3))][ClO(4)] (M = Pt, 8; M = Pd, 9), which display an "open-book" type structure and two (7a) or one (8, 9) Pt-Ag bonds. The neutral diphosphine complexes [(R(F))(2)Pt(μ-PPh(2))(2)M(P-P)] (P-P = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)methane, dppm, M = Pt, 3; M = Pd, 4; P-P = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane, dppe, M = Pt, 5; M = Pd, 6) react with AgClO(4) or [Ag(OClO(3))(PPh(3))], and the nature of the resulting complexes is dependent on both M and the diphosphine. The dppm Pt-Pt complex 3 reacts with [Ag(OClO(3))(PPh(3))], affording a silver adduct 10 in which the Ag atom interacts with the Pt atoms, while the dppm Pt-Pd complex 4 reacts with [Ag(OClO(3))(PPh(3))], forming a 1:1 mixture of [AgPdPt(μ-PPh(2))(2)(R(F))(2)(OClO(3))(dppm)] (11), in which the silver atom is connected to the Pt-Pd moiety through Pd-(μ-PPh(2))-Ag and Ag-P(k(1)-dppm) interactions, and [AgPdPt(μ-PPh(2))(2)(R(F))(2)(OClO(3))(PPh(3))(2)][ClO(4)] (12). The reaction of complex 4 with AgClO(4) gives the trinuclear derivative 11 as the only product. Complex 11 shows a dynamic process in solution in which the silver atom interacts alternatively with both Pd-μPPh(2) bonds. When P-P is dppe, both complexes 5 and 6 react with AgClO(4) or [Ag(OClO(3))(PPh(3))], forming the saturated complexes [(PPh(2)C(6)F(5))(R(F))Pt(μ-PPh(2))(μ-OH)M(dppe)][ClO(4)] (M = Pt, 13; Pd, 14), which are the result of an oxidation followed by a PPh(2)/C(6)F(5) reductive coupling. Finally, the oxidation of trinuclear derivatives [(R(F))(2)Pt(II)(μ-PPh(2))(2)Pt(II)(μ-PPh(2))(2)Pt(II)L(2)] (L(2) = phen, 15; L = PPh(3), 16) by AgClO(4) results in the formation of the unsaturated 46 VEC complexes [(R(F))(2)Pt(III)(μ-PPh(2))(2)Pt(III)(μ-PPh(2))(2)Pt(II)L(2)][ClO(4)](2) (17 and 18, respectively) which display Pt(III)-Pt(III) bonds.  相似文献

Tetranuclear [Cu(4)mu(2)-dppm)(3)(mu(2)-mu(2)-NS(2))(mu(2)-mu(4)-NS(2))] (1) and pentanuclear [Cu(5)(mu(2)-dppm)(4)(mu(3)-mu-(3)-NS(2))(2)]PF(6) (2.PF(6)) (dppm = bis(diphenylphoshino)methane, NS(2)(2)(-) = 1,8-naphthalenedithiolate) were synthesized from the reactions between NS(2)(2)(-) and [Cu(2)(mu(2)-dppm)(2)(CH(3)CN)(2)](PF(6))(2). Compound 1 features a square Cu(4) core capped by a 5-coordinate S atom while 2.PF(6) exhibits an unprecedented square planar Cu(5) core. Both complexes display dual emissions at 480 and 620 nm which arise from ligand-centered npi and ligand-metal charge-transfer excited states, respectively.  相似文献

We report herein the supramolecular assembly and spectroscopic and luminescent properties of gold(I) complexes of diphosphines (dppm [bis(diphenylphosphino)methane], dppp [1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane], and dpppn [1,5-bis(diphenylphosphino)pentane]) and N,N'-bis-4-methylpyridyl oxalamide (L). The dppm and dppp cases form the rectangular structures, [dppm(Au(2))L](2)(ClO(4))(4) and [dppp(Au(2))L](2)(ClO(4))(4), with four gold(I) ions at the corners, as well as two L and two dppm or dppp ligands as edges, featuring 38- and 42-membered rings for the former and the latter, respectively. Remarkably, the packing of the dppp complexes shows interesting one-dimensional rectangular channels in the solid state, most likely due to intermolecular pi...pi interactions. The dpppn complex has been structurally characterized as a one-dimensional coordination polymer, {[(dpppn)(3.5)(Au(7))L(3.5)](PF(6))(7)}. The absorptions and emissions of the compounds are in general due to intraligand transitions, but aurophilic or pi...pi interactions could also make partial contributions. The dipyridyl amide system with the amides incorporated into the bridging ligands as well as the one-dimensional rectangular channels in the solid state for the dppp-based rectangle make this a promising family of metal-containing cyclic peptides in crystal engineering and molecular-recognition studies.  相似文献

A series of copper(II) complexes with substituted phenanthroline ligands has been synthesized and characterized electronically and structurally. The compounds that have been prepared include the monosubstituted ligand complexes of the general formula [Cu(5-R-phen)(2)(CH(3)CN)](BF(4))(2), where R = NO(2), Cl, H, or Me, and the disubstituted ligand complex [Cu(5,6-Me(2)-phen)(2)(CH(3)CN)](BF(4))(2). The complexes [Cu(5-NO(2)-phen)(2)(CH(3)CN](BF(4))(2) (1), [Cu(5-Cl-phen)(2)(CH(3)CN)](BF(4))(2) (2), [Cu(o-phen)(2)(CH(3)CN)](BF(4))(2) (3), and [Cu(5-Me-phen)(2)(CH(3)CN)](BF(4))(2) (4) each crystallize in the space group C2/c with compounds 1, 2, and 4 comprising an isomorphous set. The disubstituted complex [Cu(5,6-Me(2)-phen)(2)(CH(3)CN)](BF(4))(2) (5) crystallizes in the space group P2(1)/c. Each structure is characterized by a distorted trigonal bipyramidal arrangement of ligands around the central copper atom with approximate or exact C(2) symmetry. The progression from electron-withdrawing to electron-donating substituents on the phenanthroline ligands correlates with less accessible reduction potentials for the bis-chelate complexes.  相似文献

Four new neutral copper azido polymers, [Cu(4)(N(3))(8)(L(1))(2)](n) (1), [Cu(4)(N(3))(8)(L(2))(2)](n) (2), [Cu(4)(N(3))(8)(L(3))(2)](n) (3), and [Cu(9)(N(3))(18)(L(4))(4)](n) (4) [L(1-4) are formed in situ by reacting pyridine-2-carboxaldehyde with 2-[2-(methylamino)ethyl]pyridine (mapy, L(1)), N,N-dimethylethylenediamine (N,N-dmen, L(2)), N,N-diethylethylenediamine (N,N-deen, L(3)), and N,N,2,2-tetramethylpropanediamine (N,N,2,2-tmpn, L(4))], have been synthesized by using 0.5 mol equiv of the chelating tridentate ligands with Cu(NO(3))(2)·3H(2)O and an excess of NaN(3). Single-crystal X-ray structures show that the basic unit of these complexes, especially 1-3, contains very similar Cu(II)(4) building blocks. The overall structure of 3 is two-dimensional, while the other three complexes are one-dimensional in nature. Complex 1 represents a unique example containing hemiaminal ether arrested by copper(II). Complexes 1 and 2 have a rare bridging azido pathway: both end-on and end-to-end bridging azides between a pair of Cu(II) centers. Cryomagnetic susceptibility measurements over a wide range of temperature exhibit dominant ferromagnetic behavior in all four complexes. Density functional theory calculations (B3LYP functional) have been performed on complexes 1-3 to provide a qualitative theoretical interpretation of their overall ferromagnetic behavior.  相似文献

The preparation and characterization of three new macrocyclic ligands with pendant arms based on the [2+2] condensation of isophthalaldehyde and the corresponding triamine substituted at the central N-atom is reported. None of these new macrocyclic ligands undergo any equilibrium reaction, based on imine hydrolysis to generate [1+1] macrocyclic formation or higher oligomeric compounds, such as [3+3], [4+4], etc., at least within the time scale of days. This indicates the stability of the newly generated imine bond. In sharp contrast, the reaction of the [2+2] macrocyclic Schiff bases with Cu(I) generates the corresponding dinuclear Cu(I) complexes [Cu(2)(L(1))](2+), 1(2+); [Cu(2)(L(2))(CH(3)CN)(2)](2+), 2(2+); and [Cu(2)(L(3))(CH(3)CN)(2)](2+), 3(2+), together with their trinuclear Cu(I) homologues [Cu(3)(L(4))](3+), 4(3+); [Cu(3)(L(5))(CH(3)CN)(3)](3+), 5(3+); and [Cu(3)(L(6))(CH(3)CN)(3)](3+), 6(3+), where the [2+2] ligand has undergone an expansion to the corresponding [3+3] Schiff base that is denoted as L(4), L(5), or L(6). The conditions under which the dinuclear and trinuclear complexes are formed were analyzed in terms of solvent dependence and synthetic pathways. The new complexes are characterized in solution by NMR, UV-vis, and MS spectroscopy and in the solid state by X-ray diffraction analysis and IR spectroscopy. For the particular case of the L(2) ligand, MS spectroscopy is also used to monitor the metal assisted transformation where the dinuclear complex 2(2+) is transformed into the trinuclear complex 5(3+). The Cu(I) complexes described here, in general, react slowly (within the time scale of days) with molecular oxygen, except for the ones containing the phenolic ligands 2(2+) and 5(3+) that react a bit faster.  相似文献

Intramolecular ligand hydroxylation was observed during the reactions of dioxygen with the dicopper(I) complexes of the ligands L(1)(L(1)=alpha,alpha'-bis[(2-pyridylethyl)amino]-m-xylene) and L(3)(L(3)=alpha, alpha'-bis[N-(2-pyridylethyl)-N-(2-pyridylmethyl)amino]-m-xylene). The dinuclear copper(I) complex [Cu(2)L(3)](ClO(4))(2) and the dicopper(II) complex [Cu(2)(L(1)-O)(OH)(ClO(4))]ClO(4) were characterized by single-crystal X-ray structure analysis. Furthermore, phenolate-bridged complexes were synthesized with the ligand L(2)-OH (structurally characterized [Cu(2)(L(2)-O)Cl(3)] with L(2)=alpha, alpha'-bis[N-methyl-N-(2-pyridylethyl)amino]-m-xylene; synthesized from the reaction between [Cu(2)(L(2)-O)(OH)](ClO(4))(2) and Cl(-)) and Me-L(3)-OH: [Cu(2)(Me-L(3)-O)(mu-X)](ClO(4))(2)xnH(2)O (Me-L(3)-OH = 2,6-bis[N-(2-pyridylethyl)-N-(2-pyridylmethyl)amino]-4-methylphenol and X = C(3)H(3)N(2)(-)(prz), MeCO(2)(-) and N(3)(-)). The magnetochemical characteristics of compounds were determined by temperature-dependent magnetic studies, revealing their antiferromagnetic behaviour [-2J(in cm(-1)) values: -92, -86 and -88; -374].  相似文献

The work in this paper presents syntheses, characterization, crystal structures, variable-temperature/field magnetic properties, catecholase activity, and electrospray ionization mass spectroscopic (ESI-MS positive) study of five copper(II) complexes of composition [Cu(II)(2)L(μ(1,1)-NO(3))(H(2)O)(NO(3))](NO(3)) (1), [{Cu(II)(2)L(μ-OH)(H(2)O)}(μ-ClO(4))](n)(ClO(4))(n) (2), [{Cu(II)(2)L(NCS)(2)}(μ(1,3)-NCS)](n) (3), [{Cu(II)(2)L(μ(1,1)-N(3))(ClO(4))}(2)(μ(1,3)-N(3))(2)] (4), and [{Cu(II)(2)L(μ-OH)}{Cu(II)(2)L(μ(1,1)-N(3))}{Cu(II)(μ(1,1)-N(3))(4)(dmf)}{Cu(II)(2)(μ(1,1)-N(3))(2)(N(3))(4)}](n)·ndmf (5), derived from a new compartmental ligand 2,6-bis[N-(2-pyridylethyl)formidoyl]-4-ethylphenol, which is the 1:2 condensation product of 4-ethyl-2,6-diformylphenol and 2-(2-aminoethyl)pyridine. The title compounds are either of the following nuclearities/topologies: dinuclear (1), dinuclear-based one-dimensional (2 and 3), tetranuclear (4), and heptanuclear-based one-dimensional (5). The bridging moieties in 1-5 are as follows: μ-phenoxo-μ(1,1)-nitrate (1), μ-phenoxo-μ-hydroxo and μ-perchlorate (2), μ-phenoxo and μ(1,3)-thiocyanate (3), μ-phenoxo-μ(1,1)-azide and μ(1,3)-azide (4), μ-phenoxo-μ-hydroxo, μ-phenoxo-μ(1,1)-azide, and μ(1,1)-azide (5). All the five compounds exhibit overall antiferromagnetic interaction. The J values in 1-4 have been determined (-135 cm(-1) for 1, -298 cm(-1) for 2, -105 cm(-1) for 3, -119.5 cm(-1) for 4). The pairwise interactions in 5 have been evaluated qualitatively to result in S(T) = 3/2 spin ground state, which has been verified by magnetization experiment. Utilizing 3,5-di-tert-butyl catechol (3,5-DTBCH(2)) as the substrate, catecholase activity of all the five complexes have been checked. While 1 and 3 are inactive, complexes 2, 4, and 5 show catecholase activity with turn over numbers 39 h(-1) (for 2), 40 h(-1) (for 4), and 48 h(-1) (for 5) in dmf and 167 h(-1) (for 2) and 215 h(-1) (for 4) in acetonitrile. Conductance of the dmf solution of the complexes has been measured, revealing that bridging moieties and nuclearity have been almost retained in solution. Electrospray ionization mass (ESI-MS positive) spectra of complexes 1, 2, and 4 have been recorded in acetonitrile solutions and the positive ions have been well characterized. ESI-MS positive spectrum of complex 2 in presence of 3,5-DTBCH(2) have also been recorded and, interestingly, a positive ion [Cu(II)(2)L(μ-3,5-DTBC(2-))(3,5-DTBCH(-))Na(I)](+) has been identified.  相似文献

Two new complexes [Cu(I)(3)(L1)I(3)](n) (1, L1 = 2,5-bis(4-pyridyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole) and [Cu(I)(3)(L2)I(2)](n) (2, L2 = 2,5-bis(4-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazolate) are controllably formed by using aqueous ammonia to regulate the pH value of the reaction involving CuI and L1. Interestingly, L2 of 2 is in situ generated from the ring transform of L1 when increase the pH value of the reaction. 1 exhibits 2-D layer, while 2 shows 3-D MOFs with a novel 3-nodal 4,4,5-connected net topology of an unprecedented Point (Schlafli) symbol: (4·5(2)·6(2)·7)(5(4)·8(2))(4(3)·5·6(6)). Although both 1 and 2 are built of CuI and similar ligands, different arrangements of CuI chains and ligands endow them with different physical properties. 1 displays a strong pure red luminescence emission, while 2 is nonluminescent and shows a broad absorption band covering the whole UV-vis-NIR spectrum range. The emissive excited states of 1 and the charge transitions of the optical absorption for 2 are solved by DFT calculations.  相似文献
