We construct a dynamical model to study the pion correlations in the 5 annihilation ofp¯ p at rest. For the resonant channels, the simplest Lorentz-invariant couplings have been used. It is found that, in addition to the Bose-Einstein correlations caused by the finite size of the source, the dynamical correlations from the channels with intermediate resonances are important for explaining the experimental two-pion correlation function. We evaluate the “σ " exchange contribution to the ˉN → ˉN scattering within a chiral unitary approach. We show that the chiral transition potentials for ππ → Kˉ in the t -channel lead to a “σ " contribution that vanishes in the ˉ forward direction and, hence, would produce a null “σ " exchange contribution to the K- optical potential in nuclear matter in a simple impulse approximation. This is a consequence of the fact that the leading-order chiral Lagrangian gives an I = 0 ππ → Kˉ amplitude proportional to the squared momentum transfer, q2. This finding poses questions on the meaning or the origin of “σ " exchange potentials used in relativistic mean-field approaches to the K- nuclear self-energy. This elementary “σ ” exchange potential in ˉN → ˉN is compared to the Weinberg-Tomozawa term and is found to be smaller than the present theoretical uncertainties but will be relevant in the future when aiming at fitting increasingly more accurate data.  相似文献

Collisions of metastable ¯pHe+ with He atoms are considered by multichannel semiclassical theory. Strong dependence of Stark transitions on both the energy-level splitting inl and collision velocity results in the separation of metastable states into two groups: long-lived and short-lived with respect to collisional quenching. An essential enhancement of delayed annihilation would be expected in a very rarefied target (p 1 Torr).  相似文献

Topological cross sections and characteristics of charged particle multiplicity distributions for¯nn andnn interactions and¯nn annihilations at 6·1 GeV/c are presented. KNO-distributions for¯nn andnn interactions are very similar. Results are presented on baryon production in ¯vn and ¯vp collisions obtained within the framework of Monte Carlo quark-parton model. The inclusive distributions of protons and lambdas are compared with data. It is shown that the model which does not introduce diquarks can give satisfactory results on the distributions of baryons both in the target and fragmentation regions.The author is indebted to J. The s-wave pion scattering amplitude is analysed with the aim to clarify the mass spectrum of scalar mesons and to find evidence of lightest glueball. The S-matrix and K¯K coupled channel formalism is used. The existence of scalar mesons S* and is implied by the data. The production K¯K and the elastic K¯KK¯K coupled amplitudes are predicted from the scattering data. The couplings c f S* to and K¯K states are determined.  相似文献

We suggest a method of singular terms regularization in a potential model of the N¯ interaction. This method is free from uncertainties related to the usual cut-off procedure and is based on the fact that, in the presence of sufficiently strong short-range annihilation, N and ¯ never approach close enough to each other. In such a case the low-energy scattering is shown to be fully determined by the OBEP tail, while any details of the short-range core of the N¯ interaction are excluded from the observables. The obtained results for S- and P-wave scattering lengths are in agreement with the well-established theoretical models.  相似文献

The results of the cross-section determination of some two-prong final states with one neutral particle (1 C-fits) in ¯pp-interactions at 22.4 GeV/c are presented. These results have been obtained from pictures of the HBC Ludmila.The methodical problems of the reaction selection are presented, the fulfilling of CP-invariance channels is demonstrated and the energetic behaviour of their cross-sections is analysed.  相似文献
