In this paper is proposed a simultaneous pre-concentration procedure using cloud point extraction for the determination of copper and zinc in food samples employing sequential multi-element flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FS-FAAS). The reagent used is 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol (PAN) and the micellar phase is obtained using the non-ionic surfactant octylphenoxypolyethoxyethanol (Triton X-114) and centrifugation. The optimization step was performed using Box-Behnken design for three factors: solution pH, reagent concentration and buffer concentration. A multiple response function was established in order to get an experimental condition for simultaneous extraction of copper and zinc. Under the optimized experimental conditions, the method allows the determination of copper with a limit of detection (3sigma(b)/S, LOD) of 0.1 microg L(-1), precision expressed as relative standard deviation (R.S.D.) of 2.1 and 1.3% (N=10), for copper concentrations of 10 and 50 microg L(-1), respectively. Zinc is determined with a LOD of 0.15 microg L(-1) and precision as R.S.D. of 2.7 and 1.7% for concentrations of 10 and 50 microg L(-1), respectively. The enhancement factors obtained were 36 and 32 for copper and zinc, respectively. The accuracy was assessed by analysis of certified reference materials, namely, SRM 1567a - Wheat Flour and SRM 8433 - Corn Bran from National Institute of Standards & Technology and BCR 189-wholemeal flour from Institute of Reference Materials and Measurements. The method was applied to the determination of copper and zinc in oats, powdered chocolate, corn flour and wheat flour samples. The copper content in the samples analyzed varied from 1.14 to 3.28 microg g(-1) and zinc from 8.7 to 22.9 microg g(-1).  相似文献

目前,地质样品中有机碳的测定方法有干烧法(高温电炉灼烧)和湿烧法(重铬酸钾氧化)两大类。另外还有ICP-AES法、微波消解法、过硫酸钾法、电导法、石墨电热消解法、比色法等,然而这些有机碳测定方法仍然存在许多不尽如人意的地方。干烧法要求实验条件苛刻,操作繁琐,不易掌握,受碳酸盐的干扰。湿烧法虽然操作比较简单,但方法受样品中还原性物质的干扰,如氯根、亚铁等,上述方法都有待完善和优化改进。如:探索因不同样品基体差异而产生的干扰元素消除方法;寻找更合适的指示剂;本文采 用重铬酸钾-容量法测定地质样品中的有机碳,在220±10℃恒温电热板上,用0.4 mol/mL重铬酸钾溶解样品。通过优化熔矿温度、熔矿时间、熔剂浓度的优化选择,进行了氯离子的干扰试验。样品中含氯化物低的样品通过加入0.1 g硫酸银消除,样品中含氯化物高的样品通过高温灼烧减量消除。氧化指示剂选用邻菲啰啉或苯二氨基苯甲酸。本方法适用于土壤、水系沉积物、岩石等地质调查样品中有机碳的测定,方法相对标准偏差(RSD)在0.80%~4.41%之间,准确度(RE)在-3.15%~+1.15%之间。通过标准物质验证,方法技术指标满足地质行业规范DZ/T0130.4-2006中有机碳的分析要求,建立了一种简单、快捷、经济、准确的测定地质样品中有机碳的测定方法,满足地球化学调查批量样品生产的需要。  相似文献

建立了固体进样直接测定法测定铜精矿中汞含量的方法。铜精矿样品在测汞仪的分解炉中经300℃干燥和750℃高温热分解后,汞被催化分解为汞原子,于850℃齐化成金汞齐。汞蒸气被氧气流带入单波长光学吸收池,在波长253.7 nm处测量汞的吸光度,采用标准曲线法计算汞量。方法的线性范围分别为0~1.00,0~100μg/mL,线性相关系数为0.9999,检出限分别为0.10,0.04 ng/g。5个汞含量不同的铜精矿样品测定结果的相对标准偏差为2.14%~4.35%(n=11),样品加标回收率为92.00%~104.02%。采用该方法分别对2个铜精矿样品和铜精矿国际标准物质进行测定,测定结果与标准分析方法测定值和标准物质标示值基本一致。该方法简便、快速、准确,可以作为标准方法推广使用。  相似文献

A sensitive and selective procedure is presented for the voltammetric determination of copper(II) ion. The procedure involves an adsorptive accumulation of Cu2+-PPKO on a hanging mercury drop electrode, followed by a stripping voltammetric measurement of reduction current of adsorbed complex at about -0.30 V (vs. SCE). The optimum conditions for the analysis of copper(II) ion include pH (5.8-7.0), 60 microgM PPKO and an accumulation potential of -0.5 V (vs. SCE). The peak current is proportional to the concentration of copper over the range 0.3-76 ng mL(-1) with a detection limit of 0.01ng mL(-1) with an accumulation time of 60 s. The speciation of different forms of complex between copper(II) ion and PPKO, using the Best (Martell program), followed pH measurement were examined. The method was applied to the determination of copper(II) ion content in real samples successfully.  相似文献

A rapid, precise and selective analytical method has been developed for estimation of barium in geological samples by flame atomic-absorption spectrometry. The method consists of precipitation of barium sulphate with ammonium sulphate, followed by dissolution of the sulphates in EDTA at pH 10. The barium in this solution is measured by AAS with a nitrous oxide-acetylene flame. Appreciable amounts of lead, calcium and strontium can be tolerated in the method, which has been applied for estimation of barium in sulphide ores and concentrates of lead, zinc and copper, and is feasible for estimation of barium from 20.0 ppm to the per cent level in such geological samples.  相似文献

A new solid substrate-room temperature phosphorescence quenching method for the determination of trace copper has been established. It is based on the fact that beryllon (R) can emit strong and stable solid substrate-room temperature phosphorescence on the filter paper, and Vitamin C (Vc) reduces R to non-phosphorescent compound that leads to solid substrate-room temperature phosphorescence (SS-RTP) quenching of R, and alpha,alpha'-dipyridyl can activate copper catalyzing Vitamin C reducing R. The DeltaI(p) of the system with alpha,alpha'-dipyridyl is 3.3 times higher than that without alpha,alpha'-dipyridyl, which shows the reaction of alpha,alpha'-dipyridyl activating copper catalyzing Vitamin C reducing R. The reducing value of phosphorescence intensity (DeltaI(p)) is directly proportional to the content of Cu(II) in the range of 0.040-4.0 fg spot(-1) (corresponding concentration: 0.10-10.0 pg ml(-1), sample volume: 0.40 microlspot(-1)). The regression equation of working curve can be expressed as DeltaI(p)=69.99+41.00 m Cu(2+) (fg spot(-1)) (r=0.9980, n=6), and the detection limit is 0.0088 fg spot(-1)(corresponding concentration: 2.2 x 10(-14) g ml(-1)). This sensitive and accurate method with good repeatability and high selectivity has been applied to the determination of trace copper in real samples with satisfactory results. The reaction mechanism for the determination of trace copper by solid substrate-room temperature phosphorescence quenching method based on the activating effect of alpha,alpha'-dipyridyl on Vitamin C reducing beryllon is also discussed.  相似文献

A simple spectrophotometric method is presented for the rapid determination of copper at a trace level using 2,5-dimercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole (DMTD) as a new spectrophotometric reagent. The method is based on the reaction of non-absorbent DMTD in a slightly acidic (0.002-0.014 mol dm(-3) sulfuric acid) aqueous solution with copper(II) to produce a highly absorbent greenish-yellow chelate product that has an absorption maximum at 390 nm. The reaction is instantaneous and the absorbance remains stable for 24 h. The average molar absorption coefficient and Sandell's sensitivity were found to be 5.65 x 10(4) dm3 mol(-1) cm(-1) and 10 ng cm(-2) of CuII, respectively. Linear calibration graphs were obtained for 0.1-20 microg cm(-3) of CuII; the stoichiometric composition of the chelate is 1:2 (Cu:DMTD). A large excess of over 50 cations, anions and complexing agents (e.g. tartrate, oxalate, citrate, phosphate, thiourea, SCN-) do not interfere in the determination. The method was successfully used for the determination of copper in several Standard Reference Materials as well as in some environmental water samples, biological samples, soil samples and solutions containing both copper(I) and copper(II) and complex synthetic mixtures. The method has high precision and accuracy (s = +/-0.01 for 0.5 microg cm(-1)).  相似文献

Since it is now possible, with some reliability, to separate native from European copper using chemical analysis, we now sort archaeological copper into geological (North American) or smelted (European) groups and thereby help address issues relating to the cultural impact of earliest aboriginal — European contact in northeastern Ontario. Twenty six metal samples from 11 archaeological sites, dating from the 17th to 19th centuries, were analyzed by INAA. The results were compared with reference data for native copper and European trade copper and indicate that of the 17 copper samples in the suite, an archaeologically-unexpected high number of 12 were made of native copper. The majority of these samples (7 of 8) derived from the post-contact early 17th century Providence Bay Odawa village. The remaining samples were made of brass (8) and zinc (1). Two of the brass samples, from Point Louise, have remarkably similar chemistries and probably came from the same object, or at least from the same batch of brass.  相似文献

A simple method for rapid extraction-preconcentration and determination of trace amounts of copper(II) ions in water samples by using octadecyl-bonded silica membranes modified by a Schiff base, named bis(5-chloro-2-hydroxyacetophenone)-1,2-propanediimine (L), followed by flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS) is described. The effect of parameters influencing the extraction efficiency, i.e. pH of the sample solution, amount of the modifier, type and volume of stripping reagent, and sample and stripping reagent flow rates were evaluated and optimized. The detection limit and the concentration factor of the presented method are 10.2 ng/L and greater than 400, respectively. Under optimum experimental conditions the capacity of the membrane disks modified by 4 mg of the ligand was found to be 142.8 (±0.2) μg of copper. The method was applied to the enrichment and determination of copper content in different natural water samples.  相似文献

为了研究洛阳市郊区蔬菜中重金属污染状况,采用火焰原子吸收法对郊区李楼乡和孙旗屯乡抽取的叶菜样品中重金属Cu、Zn、Pb、Cd含量进行了测定。结果表明,8个蔬菜样品中Cu含量在0.393 9~0.970 7 mg/kg之间,Zn含量在1.395 0~10.080 0 mg/kg之间,均未超过国家蔬菜卫生限量标准;Pb含量在0.100 0~0.248 6 mg/kg之间,其中有3个样品Pb含量超出国家蔬菜卫生限量标准;Cd含量有5个样品未检出,其余3个样品也不超国标。经用单因子和综合因子污染指数评价,洛阳市郊区叶菜类蔬菜重金属污染大部分已处于警戒级到轻度污染,因此,应加强蔬菜中重金属污染的预防与治理工作。  相似文献

This study developed a methodology to analyze trace rare earth elements (REEs) in geological materials by capillary electrophoresis (CE). Changed from dilute HNO3 into a water medium by heating, REE ions are detectable at approximately 2 ng mL(-1). In the presence of coexisting elements from geological samples, REE separations were carried out. After sample fusion with Na2O2 and interference separation with ammonium pyrrolidinedithiocarbamate chelate, REE analytes were coprecipitated with Mg(OH)2 at pH 8.5, and then prepared into a water medium for CE determination. Using the standard addition method, this protocol was validated by analyses with better than 5% precision. This method was applied to geological materials; the REE results are in consistence with their certified values. With electrokinetic injection, internal standard (IS) selected among lanthanides is a prerequisite of high-quality REE data. An approach was proposed to derive the IS content for further correcting its contribution from unknown samples.  相似文献

A rapid and simple neutron-activation analysis method has been developed for the determination of copper in plant leaves. Irradiated samples are dissolved in a mixture of fuming nitric acid, 70% perchloric acid and concentrated sulphuric acid in the presence of copper carrier solution. The copper in the resulting solution is extracted as copper cupferronate into chloroform and back-extracted into concentrated ammonia solution. The copper is precipitated as sulphide with 3% aqueous thioacetanude solution and the precipitate is dissolved in nitric acid. The induced activity of copper-64 in the resulting solution is counted with a 400-channel analyser. The photopeak of the annihilation energy of copper-64 at 0.51 MeV is compared with that of a copper standard processed in the same manner. After counting, the chemical yield of the separated copper is found by re-irradiating aliquots of the copper nitrate solution and comparing the induced activity of coppcr-66 at 1.04 MeV with that of another standard processed in a similar manner. The time required to complete the analysis, including the second irradiation and all radioactivity measurements, is about 25 min. The accuracy of the method was checked by analysing a biological standard of known copper content. The proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of copper in the leaves of 10 different plants (copper content 4-30 ppm).  相似文献

A simple spectrophotometric flow-injection method is reported for the highly sensitive and fast determination of copper(II). The method is based on the formation of coloured Cu(II)-(4-methylpiperidinedithiocarbamate)(2) complex when the copper solutions are introduced into a tertiary reagent stream containing 4-methylpiperidinedithiocarbamate. The coloured complex is then selectively monitored at 435 nm. To increase interactions between copper(II) and colour forming reagent and preconcentrate of copper(II), a microcolumn containing strong cation exchange resins was placed between injection manifold and spectrophotometer. The system required no mixing chamber and allowed a sample throughput >60 sample h(-1). The calibration graph was linear in the range 5-100 mug l(-1). The detection limit was <0.5 mug l(-1) for 20 mul injection volume of copper(II) ion solution. The developed method was applied to environmental, copper processing water, and ore samples.  相似文献

A simple and sensitive spectrophotometric method for determination of trace copper in water samples is proposed. In the presence of pH 4.6 HAc-NaAc buffer solution and surfactant polyethylene octyl phenyl ether (OP) medium, copper reacts with thiomichlersketone (TMK) to form a stable 1:4 complex. The complex Cu(II)-TMK-OP shows maximum absorbance at 500 nm with a molar absorptivity value of 5.7x10(4) l mol-1 cm-1. Beer's law is obeyed for copper concentrations in the range of 0-15 microg/25 ml. The average recovery of copper is between 95.8 and 106%. The method has been applied for determination of trace copper in different water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A sensitive and selective kinetic method is proposed for the determination of nanogram amounts of copper. The method is based on the catalytic effect of copper on the reduction of Ponceau S by sodium sulfide in an alkaline media. The rate of the reaction is monitored spectrophotometrically at 560 nm. The method allows determination of copper concentrations in the range 2-400 ng ml(-1) with a relative standard deviation of approximately 2%. The proposed method, which is highly selective to copper, has been applied satisfactory to its determination in real samples.  相似文献

The simultaneous determination of cobalt, copper and nickel using 1-(2-thiazolylazo)-2-naphthol (first figure of this article) by spectrophotometric method is a difficult problem in analytical chemistry, due to spectral interferences. By multivariate calibration methods, such as partial least squares (PLS) regression, it is possible to obtain a model adjusted to the concentration values of the mixtures used in the calibration range. Orthogonal signal correction (OSC) is a preprocessing technique used for removing the information unrelated to the target variables based on constrained principal component analysis. OSC is a suitable preprocessing method for PLS calibration of mixtures without loss of prediction capacity using spectrophotometric method. In this study, the calibration model is based on absorption spectra in the 550-750-nm range for 21 different mixtures of cobalt, copper and nickel. Calibration matrices were formed from samples containing 0.05-1.05, 0.05-1.30 and 0.05-0.80 μg·mL^-1 for cobalt, copper and nickel, respectively. The root mean square error of prediction (RMSEP) for cobalt, copper and nickel with OSC and without OSC were 0.007, 0.008, 0.011 and 0.031,0.037, 0.032 μg· mL^-1, respectively. This procedure allows the simultaneous determination of cobalt, copper and nickel in synthetic and real samples and good reliability of the determination was proved.  相似文献

建立火焰原子吸收光谱法测定粗锌中的铜含量。采用硝酸–酒石酸溶解样品,并以其为测定溶液介质,检测波长为324.7 nm,以水为参比,采用空气–乙炔火焰以原子吸收光谱仪进行测定。在优化的实验条件下,铜的质量浓度在0.10~2.50μg/m L范围内与吸光度有良好线性关系,相关系数为0.999 7,方法检出限为0.01μg/m L。测定结果的相对标准偏差为1.0%~3.0%(n=11),样品加标回收率为97%~102%。该方法具有灵敏度高,干扰少,重现性好等优点,适用于铜含量在0.001%~0.50%之间的粗锌中铜的测定。  相似文献
