The brightness waves of ZnS-Cu, Mn phosphor were investigated and it was found that their shape changes from that characteristic for copper-activated phosphors to that characteristic for manganese-activated phosphors as a function of the magnitude of the voltage applied, the length of the pulses and the temperature. In order to explain the results it is assumed that simultaneously with the mechanism of electroluminescence, accepted for ZnS-Cu (ionization of activators; recombination and radiation delayed in phase compared with voltage), there exists an immediate recombination of the Cu activators in the barriers, which is accompanied by radiation in phase with the voltage.

AFMR in Fe3 BO6 is investigated by quasioptical method in submillimeter-wave band. Depending on conditions of excitation two resonance modes were observed. One mode, which is identified as a quasiferromagnetic, was investigated both in phases 1 and 1. Also the quasiantiferromagnetic AFMR mode was observed and investigated. The carried researches evidence in favour of two-sublattice Fe3 BO6 model.  相似文献

Using inelastic neutron scattering we have determined all the dispersion branches of the 1, 2 and 3 representations along the three-fold axis as well as the 2 times 15 branches of 1 and 2 symmetry along the -A-direction plus some branches along the -D-direction. The experimental data are analyzed using various rigid ion, polarizable ion and shell models. The shell models give a very satisfactory account of the dispersion curves as well as the scattering intensities. Special attention is given to the investigation of dielectric constants and equilibrium conditions.  相似文献

The spin-two particle is described by a symmetric tensorh subject to the subsidiary conditionsh = h =0. Their covariant generalization and the wave equation have been obtained directly from the Eulerian variational equations by algebraic methods only. In addition to the tensor fieldh a symmetric third-rank tensor = as well as a vector fieldA have been added, neither of which enter in the final result. The Lagrangian function is taken as a linear sum of all combinations which can be constructed from these functions, as well as terms involving the curvature tensor and its two possible contractions. Variation with respect toh , andA independently gives the Euler equations. The physical quantities (or powers thereof) in the hard-hexagon model that were computed exactly by Baxter are shown to be modular functions with respect to the number-theoretic group 1[N]. Intense picosecond light pulses of a mode-locked Nd: glass laser at L =1054 nm (fundamental wavelength) and SH =527 nm (second harmonic wavelength) are passed through a sample of D2O under self-focusing conditions. Spectrally structured superbroadened, spatially bell-shaped emission in the forward direction is obtained. Primary generation processes are pump-pulse-degenerate stimulated parametric four-photon interaction (1 + 1 3 + 4) and stimulated Raman scattering (1 R + ), which occur concurrently (1= L or SH angular pump frequency, #x03C9; R first Stokes frequency, #x03C9; signal frequency, #x03C9;3 signal frequency, #x03C9;4 idler frequency). The parametric four-photon interaction occurs under collinear non-phase-matched conditions and under longitudinally phase-matched, transversally non-phase-matched (erenkov-like) conditions. Subsequent interaction processes are pump-pulse-nondegenerate four-photon interaction of the type 1 + R 3 + 4, coherent antiStokes Raman scattering (CARS, 1 + 14 3), inverse Raman scattering ( A + 1 + ), and cascading light up-conversion of the type 1 + (i) R (i+1).  相似文献

This letter presents a study of the automorphisms and the derivations of a large class of local Lie algebras over a manifold M (in the sense of Shiga and Kirillov) called Lie algebras of order O over M.It is shown that, in general, the algebraic structure of such an algebra characterizes the differentiable structure of M and that the Lie algebra of derivations of is a Lie algebra of differential operators of order 1 over M obtained in a natural way as the space of sections of a vector bundle canonically associated to .  相似文献

We calculate the dynamic local susceptibility () of an Ising spin glass near the de Almeida-Thouless (AT) line within the soft spin dynamics for the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick model. We find a crossover from analytic behaviour of () at =0 above the AT line to a power law behaviour ()(–i) v on the AT line and discuss the analytic properties of the crossover function. The frequencyscale is proportional to 1/v , where measures the distance from the AT line. We determine the spectrum of relaxation times which diverge as 1–1/v . The average relaxation time diverges as –1/v wherev1/2. In addition we determine the absolute frequency scale and prove the consistency of the ansatz of Sompolinsky and Zippelius ()–(0)(–i) v at and below the AT line.  相似文献

We analyze the limiting behavior of the densities A(t) and B(t), and the random spatial structure(r) = ( A(t)., B(t)), for the diffusion-controlled chemical reaction A+Binert. For equal initial densities B(0) = b(0) there is a change in behavior fromd 4, where A(t) = B(t) C/td/4, tod 4, where A(t) = b(t) C/t ast ; the termC depends on the initial densities and changes withd. There is a corresponding change in the spatial structure. Ind < 4, the particle types separate with only one type present locally, and , after suitable rescaling, tends to a random Gaussian process. Ind >4, both particle types are, after large times, present locally in concentrations not depending on type or location. A study is made of instability at frequencies close to the electron cyclotron frequency B and its multiples, subject to the presence of two different groups of electrons. It is shown that a mixture of hot and cold electrons ( ph 2 pc 2 ) in the region of frequencies s B, s2 can be unstable with respect to waves of the flute type (k z=0) with maximum increment max ( ph/pc). B, if there exists an interval of transversal velocities in whichF/ >0. When the curvature of the magnetic field is taken into account, even waves with B can be unstable in such a plasma. The effect of spatial inhomogeneity of the hot component on flute-type instability and on two-beam cyclotron instability is also examined.The author extends his thanks to A. B. The collision term of the Fokker-Planck-type magnetized kinetic equation is approximated for an electron-ion plasma in a strong external uniform magnetic field. The collision term is evaluated explicitly in the case of unmagnetized Maxwellian ions for 1<= e / pi 2<. A series ofc-axis oriented YBa2Cu3O x -films with different oxygen content were prepared by laser deposition. The oxygen contentx was determined by X-ray diffraction and by resonant Rutherford-back-scattering (RRBS) measurements. Thec-axis length in these films of YBa2Cu3O x is about 0.5% larger compared to bulk values. We describe transport measurements in magnetic fields up to 7 Tesla between room temperature andT c in samples with an oxygen content between the orthorhombic-to-tetragonal transition (x6.4) and full oxygenation (x7). The ratio /R H was investigated with respect to the two-dimensional Luttinger liquid theory and the model of the two-dimensional ionic metal. We report on deviations from the expected quadratic temperature behaviour of /R H , especially in films with high oxygen content.  相似文献

A one parameter quantum deformationS L(2,) ofSL(2,) is introduced and investigated. An analog of the Iwasawa decomposition is proved. The compact part of this decomposition coincides withS U(2), whereas the solvable part is identified as a Pontryagin dual ofS U(2). It shows thatS L(2,) is the result of the dual version of Drinfeld's double group construction applied toS U(2). The same construction applied to any compact quantum groupG c is discussed in detail. In particular the explicit formulae for the Haar measures on the Pontryagin dualG d ofG c and on the double groupG are given. We show that there exists remarkable 1-1 correspondence between representations ofG and bicovariant bimodules (tensor bundles) overG c . The theory of smooth representations ofS L(2,) is the same as that ofSL(2,) (Clebsh-Gordon coefficients are however modified). The corresponding tame bicovariant bimodules onS U(2) are classified. An application to 4D + differential calculus is presented. The nonsmooth case is also discussed.  相似文献

The initial stages of phase separation are studied for a model binary alloy (AB) with pairwise interactions AA , AB , BB between nearest neighbors, assuming that there is no direct interchange of neighboring atoms possible, but only an indirect one mediated by vacancies (V) occurring in the system at a concentrationc v and which are strictly conserved, as are the concentrationsc A andc B of the two species.A-atoms may jump to vacant sites with jump rate A , B-atoms with jump rate B (in the absence of interactions). Particular attention is paid to the question to what extent nonuniform distribution of vacancies affects the unmixing kinetics. Our study focuses on the special case A = B on a square lattice, considering three different choices of interactions with the same = AB – ( AA + BB )/2: (i) AB =, AA = BB = 0; (ii) AA = 0, AA = BB ; = ; (iii) AB = BB = 0, AA = –2. We obtain both the time evolution of the structure factorS(k,t) following a quench from infinite temperature to the considered temperature, and the timedependence of the mean cluster size and the various neighborhood probabilities of a vacancy. While in case (i) forc V 0.16 the distribution of vacancies in the system stays nearly random, in case (ii) the vacancies cluster in theA-B interfacial region, and in case (iii) they get nearly completely expelled from theA-rich regions. While phase separation proceeds in case (i) only slightly faster than in case (ii), a significant slowing down of the relaxation is observed for case (iii), which shows up in a strong reduction of the effective exponents describing the growth.  相似文献

We present analytical and numerical results for the level density of a certain class of random non-Hermitian matrices =H+i. The conservative partH belongs to the Gaussian orthogonal ensemble while the damping piece is quadratic in Gaussian random numbers and may describe the decay of resonances through various channels. In the limit of a large matrix dimension the level density assumes a surprisingly simple dependence on the relative strength of the damping and the number of channels. Moreover, we identify situations with cubic repulsion between the complex eigenvalues of , to within a logarithmic correction.  相似文献

The Dirac spinors and matrices are used in combination with the Arnowitt-Deser-Misner formalism in order to obtain yet another formulation of Hamiltonian general relativity, together with a new form of the Gauss-Codazzi equations. The relation with Ashtekar's variables is analyzed; it is shown, for instance, that the matrices are equivalent to the electric field variable. The paramagnetic spectrum of the Fe3+ ion in a CdWO4 monocrystal was measured on a frequency of 9600 kMHz at 290°K. The spin-Hamiltonian of the Fe3+ ion was determined and had the form of (1). The constants derived for the spin-Hamiltonian areE/D=0·144±0·002,D=23·8 kMHz.

Adiabatic Fast Passage NMR/ON measurements on single crystal56CoFe indicate a unique electric field gradient when the applied field is parallel to the 100 direction.A well defined spin echo has been observed with pulsed NMR/ON using the 847 keV gamma and the echo amplitude decay followed for pulse separations out to 75 ms. The decay of the echo is non exponential, being essentially constant for pulse separations of 75 s, 750 s and 7.5 ms. The echo is significantly attenuated at 75 ms. This may be contrasted with an effective nuclear spin lattice relaxation time of T 1 30 s.  相似文献
