Excitation functions of the elastic and the inelastic proton scattering leading to the ground state and to the 2+ (0.596 MeV) state in 74Ge were measured at 90°, 125°, 140° and 165° at bombarding energies from 3.34 to 5.4 MeV. Ten isobaric analogue resonances in 75As were identified. Five of these resonances decay to the 2+ excited state in 74Ge. Angular distributions of the inelastically scattered protons were measured at bombarding energies corresponding to these resonances. The partial widths of the isobaric analogue states for decay to the ground state and to the 2+ excited state in 74Ge were determined as well as the l-values of the captured protons and the spins of the resonances. The Coulomb displacement energy for the pair 75As-75Ge was found to be 10.01 MeV. A comparison is made with the parent analogue states in 75Ge. The results indicate that several levels of 75Ge may be described as having a large component of a single particle state coupled to the first 2+ excited state in 74Ge, and that the 2+ state has a configuration with a large 2p-2h component.  相似文献

Cross sections have been measured for the elastic and inelastic scattering of electrons from 70Ge and 72Ge for momentum transfers from 0.65 to 1.14 fm?1. Values for the parameters of a Fermi type ground-state charge distribution were obtained from a phase shift analysis of the elastic cross sections. The rms charge radius corresponding to these parameters is 4.07±0.02 fm for 70Ge and 4.05±0.03 fm for 72Ge. Using DWBA analysis the reduced transition probabilities for the electroexcitation of the 21+ and 31? states were found to be: B(E2, ω)↑ = 19.7±1.2, 26.8±2.0 W.u.; B(E3, ω)↑ = 36±5, 37±7 W.u. for 70Ge and 72Ge respectively. The Jπ = 3? assignments for the state at 2.562 MeV in 70Ge and 2.515 MeV in 72Ge are confirmed.  相似文献

The branching ratios of E0 and E2 transitions depopulating the 0+2 and 0+3 states in 70Ge have been studied using conversion-electron and γ-ray spectroscopy, as well as a new internal-pair measurement technique. A value of 3.7 (2) ns has been obtained in a remeasurement of the half-life of the 0+2 state. Two new E0 transitions, 0+3 → 0+2 and 0+3 → 0+1, have been observed. A comparison of the measured X(E0/E2), ρ2(E0) and B(E2) values for the excited 0+ states in 70Ge with the corresponding 150Sm data supports a recent shape-coexistence interpretation of the even-mass Ge isotopes.  相似文献

Electromagnetic properties of the low-lying states in a 70Ge nucleus were studied through the multiple Coulomb excitation of a 70Ge beam with a natPb target. Relative γ-ray intensities were measured as a function of emission angle relative to the scattered projectile. Sixteen E2 matrix elements, including diagonal ones, for 6 low-lying states have been determined using the least-squares search code GOSIA. The expectation values 〈Q 2〉 of 01 + and 02 + states in 70Ge are compared with those in 72, 74, 76Ge. Simple mixing calculations indicate that the 02 + states in 70Ge and 72Se can be treated as deformed intruder states. It is shown that the deformed intruder becomes the ground state in 74Kr. These interpretations of the 02 + states in this region are compared with the potential-energy surface calculations by the Nilsson-Strutinsky model, which allow to interpret the experimental results in a qualitative way from the theoretical point of view. Entrance channel effects in the fusion of heavy ions have been studied by using the 74Ge+74Ge reaction at 318 MeV. The population of the yrast superdeformed band in 144Gd shows an increase when compared with the results obtained in the more asymmetric 48Ti+100Mo reaction at 215 MeV. The relative yields of the different evaporation residues produced in the 74Ge+74Ge and in the 48Ti+100Mo reactions are very similar, with the exception of the 145,144Gd residual nuclei (3n and 4n decay channels) which are populated with a larger yield in the symmetric reaction. Statistical model calculations reproduce qualitatively such effect if a fission delay is explicitly taken into account. Effects related to fusion barrier fluctuations seem to be important in determining the spin distributions of the compound nucleus. The spectra of the high energy γ-rays emitted in the 74Ge+74Ge reaction have been measured as a function of the γ-ray multiplicity as well as in coincidence with selected evaporation residues. They are reproduced by standard statistical model calculations with GDR parameters taken from systematics, demonstrating that, in agreement with dynamical model prediction, the emission of γ-rays from the dinucleus formed in the earlier stage of the collision is unimportant.  相似文献

The cross section of the reaction70Ge(α, γ)74Se has been measured over the bombarding energy range of 5.05 MeV <E α < 7.80 MeV using single and coincidence gamma spectroscopy techniques. The experimental S-factor values are in agreement with theoretical statistical-model calculations. Reaction rates for the70Ge(α, γ)74Se and the inverse (γ, α) reactions have been determined for appropriate temperatures.  相似文献

77Se has been investigated by the reaction74Ge(α,) at 14 MeV. Gamma singles spectra, gamma angular distributions and gamma-gamma coincidences have been taken. A level scheme has been established, spins and parities have been assigned. States of a rotational band on the 1/2? ground state, a rotational band on the 5/2? 249.7 keV state and an anormal band have been identified. 74Ge beam was Coulomb-excited on a natPb target. Ten E2 matrix elements including diagonal matrix elements for 5 low-lying states have been determined using the least-squares search code GOSIA. The expectation values of the rotational invariants 〈Q 2〉 and 〈cos3δ〉 show the small and triaxial deformation of the two lowest members of the ground-state band , while the 02 + and 22 + states are found to be almost spherical. The analogues of the low-lying levels in71Ge have been observed as resonances in the compound nucleus71As through proton elastic scattering on70Ge in the energy rangeE p=3.5 to 5.3 MeV. The excitation functions cover the analogue resonances corresponding to states upto 2.3 MeV excitation in71Ge. The sub-structures in the 5.06 MeV resonance, first observed by Temmer and co-workers have been confirmed in the present experiment. The present investigation reveals similar sub-structures in the 4.13 MeV resonance lending further support to the existence of intermediate structure near an isobaric analogue resonance. The resonance parameters and the spectroscopic factors (for the corresponding parent states) have been extracted. The results are compared with the information available from the70Ge(d, p)71Ge reaction.  相似文献

79Se has been investigated by the reaction76Ge(α, nγ). Gamma excitation functions (E α=10?15 MeV), gamma angular distributions and gamma-gamma coincidences (both at (E α=12 MeV), have been taken. 74, 76Ge(p, t) measurements at Ep = 35.4 MeV are reported. It is found that, except for a depression of the 72Ge ground-state energy accompanying the occurrence of a low-lying 0+ excited state, the energy level structure of 72Ge is nearly identical to that of 74Ge. Dependence of angular distribution shapes at low angles on the transferred neutron configuration is observed, both experimentally and in the DWBA calculations.  相似文献

The lifetimes τ=124±12, 6 ?2 +4 and 380±100 ps of theE x (I π )=3.46(8+), 2.92(6+) and 3.04(6?) MeV states, respectively, populated by the reaction76Ge(12C,α2n) were measured with the recoil distance method. In addition upper lifetime limits were obtained for nine states. The measured lifetimes and energies indicate a band crossing at aboutI π =8+, probably arising from the alignment of twog 9/2 neutrons. For the 3.04 MeV 6? state as a second member of a band built on the 2.65 MeV 4? state the measured lifetime points to a two-quasiparticle configuration. The positive-parity states have been discussed in the frame of the interacting boson approximation, nuclear field theory and the cranked shell model.  相似文献

Angular distributions from the reactions72Ge(d, p)73Ge and73Ge(p, p′)73Ge have been studied with 8.0 MeV deuterons and 12.0 MeV protons, respectively, using the Aldermaston Tandem Van de Graaff generator and multi-angle magnetic spectrograph. The ground stateQ-value of the (d, p) reaction was measured to be 4.571±0.004 MeV. The energies, values of the transferred orbital angular momenta, parities and transition strengths in both reactions were determined by use of distorted-wave Bornapproximation calculations, for levels up to 3 MeV excitation energy. The sums of the transition strengths are compared with shell model calculations as well as with values obtained in neighbouring nuclei. Discrepancies between parity and possible spin assignments of states observed in the two reactions are discussed.  相似文献

Theγ-ray decay of the states in69Ge has been studied using the reaction66Zn(α, nγ)69Ge atE α =13 and 19 MeV. The level scheme and spin assignments were established by means of coincidence measurements, angular distributions and excitation functions. 27 new levels could be found or confirmed. It is suggested that69Ge is a further example for the weak coupling phenomenon in the medium mass nuclei. Differential cross sections and vector analyzing powers were measured at an incident deuteron energy of 12.0 MeV for the 70, 72, 74, 76Ge(d, p)71, 73, 75, 77Ge reactions. The data were analyzed with the distorted-wave Bom approximation. Spin and parity assignments were made to 13 states in 71Ge, 19 states in 73Ge, 13 states in 75Ge and 11 states in 77Ge. Spectroscopic factors were extracted and a simple sum rule analysis was applied to the data.  相似文献

The properties of the low-lying states,especially the relevant shape coexistence in~(80)Ge,close to one of most neutron-rich doubly magic nuclei at N=50 and Z=28,have been investigated within the framework of the proton-neutron interacting model(IBM-2).Based on the fact that the relative energy of the d neutron boson is different from that of the proton boson,the calculated energy levels of low-lying states and E2 transition strengths can reproduce the experimental data very well.Particularly,the first excited state 0_2~+,which is intimately related to the shape coexistence phenomenon,is reproduced quite nicely.Theρ~2(E0,0_2~+→0_1~+)transition strength is also predicted.The experimental data and theoretical results indicate that both collective spherical andγ-soft vibration structures coexist in~(80)Ge.  相似文献

The Ge surfaces were cleaned and passivated by two kinds of chemical pretreatments: conventional combination of HF + (NH4)2S, and new one of HBr + (NH4)2S. The chemical states and stability at passivated Ge surfaces were carefully characterized. The influence of chemical surface treatments on the interface and electrical properties of Al2O3 gate dielectric films on Ge grown by atomic layer deposition (ALD) has been investigated deeply. It is found that the combination of HBr and (NH4)2S can remove more Ge-O bonds on the Ge surface compared to that of conventional HF and (NH4)2S with excellent stability. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) reveals that HBr and (NH4)2S treated Ge surface has a mixture states of GeOx (9.25%) and GeS (7.40%) while HF and (NH4)2S treated Ge surface has a mixture states of GeOx (16.45%) and GeS (3.37%). And the Ge-S peak from the surface of Ge substrates decreases a little after the HBr and (NH4)2S treated Ge surface was exposed in the ambient for 300 min, which suggests the Ge surface is stable to oxidants. The Al2O3 films on HBr and (NH4)2S treated Ge substrates exhibits better electrical properties such as large capacitance, decreased leakage current density by ∼two orders of magnitude, and less C-V hysteresis. This indicates that a reduction in charge traps possibly at the interface and more interface traps are terminated by sulfur. The surface treatment of HBr and (NH4)2S seems to be very promising in improving the quality of high-k gate stack on Ge substrates.  相似文献

Excited states of 65Ge were populated via the 12C + 58Ni (261 MeV) reaction using the NORDBALL detector array equipped with charged-particle and neutron detector systems for reaction channel separation. On the basis of γγ-coincidence relations and angular distribution ratios a significantly extended level scheme was constructed up to E x = 9 MeV and J π = (33/2?). The low-energy states of the nucleus are discussed in the framework of the interacting boson-fermion model.  相似文献

By γ-γ coincidence measurements following the 57Fe(12C, 2nγ) reaction at E12C = 40 MeV several new states above 1.5 MeV excitation energy in 67Ge have been established. Spin and parity assignments on the basis of the angular distribution, linear polarization and γ-ray yield function indicate very similar structures in 67, 69Ge. The positive-parity states can be followed up to the 172+ state at Ex = 3.07 MeV followed by a sequence of negative-parity high-spin states at nearly the same excitation energy relative to the 92+ single-particle state as in the neighbouring nucleus 69Ge where these states were found to have strong single-particle admixtures. A reinvestigation of the spin of the Ex = 2.75 MeV level in 69Ge resulting in a change of its spin from 152+to172+ and for all spins above, removed the discrepancy concerning the spin assignments of corresponding levels in 67, 69Ge. The excitation pattern of the Ge isotopes with 34 ≦ N ≦ 39 clearly indicate same structures probably due to the strong competition between collective and single-particle excitations along the whole chain similar to the results for the Zn isotopes.  相似文献

Excited states in the neutron-rich doubly-odd nucleus78As have been identified for the first time by proton-γ and γ-γ coincidence measurements via the76Ge(α, pn) reaction at 32, 36, and 40 MeV beam energy. Four levels have been found to decay with lifetimes in the nanosecond region. The 5(+) to (10+) states are ascribed to the (πg 9/2?νg 9/2) intruder two-quasiparticle configuration with some collective components in the 9(+) and (10+) states.  相似文献
