The optimization of flux line pinning in superconductors is one of the most efficient ways to improve the transport properties of these materials. The generation of effective artificial pinning centers in a controlled way and with optimal dimensions can contribute to the enhancement of pinning capability and to the improvement of the critical current densities Jc. In this work, we examined the effectiveness of an insulating inclusion in a type II superconductor as a pinning center with a size close to the penetration depth λ instead of the coherence length ξ. To this effect, insulating nano-pinning centres (100–150 nm) have been successfully embedded into superconducting YBa2Cu3O7?d (Y-123) matrix by slightly doping with nano-particle alumina dispersions. Two alumina nano-particle dispersions with mean size diameters of about 130 nm and 150 nm which are considerably larger than the coherence length ξ of Y-123 were used. A systematic study of the relationship of Jc(H,T) with different amounts of D1 and D2-nanoalumina additions was performed to determine the optimum nano-particle doping contents. The results indicate that slight inclusions of D1 or D2-nanoalumina can effectively enhance the flux pinning capability of samples. The best flux pinning was observed in the sample with 10?2 wt.% D1-alumina and 3 × 10?2 wt.% D2-alumina. The present work suggests that the use of sufficiently large insulating inclusions in the nanometer sub-scale can stabilize the flux-line lattice. It also shows that the optimal size for an insulating inclusion, acting as a pinning center in bulk material, is more likely related to λ than to ξ.  相似文献

Y2Ba4CuMO (Y-2411, where M is a transition metal element) has been recognized as a potential candidate for enhanced flux pinning in Y–Ba–Cu–O (YBCO) bulk superconductors. However, the non-uniform distribution of Y-2411 in the superconducting phase matrix and the presence of ac micro-cracks in the sample microstructure limit the magnetic field trapping ability of bulk YBCO containing these inclusions. Recent attempts to add Ag to the YBCO matrix have been observed to enhance the microstructural properties of Y-2411 containing materials. In this work we report the fabrication of high performance YBCO composite containing Y-24Nb1 (Y2Ba4CuNbOy) and metallic Ag. The average value of critical current density, Jc, is compared for samples containing different concentrations of Y-24Nb1. The microstructural features of these samples have been compared with a YBCO single grain processed with Y-24Nb1 and metallic Ag.  相似文献

The relaxation of the irreversible magnetization has been measured by a Faraday magnetometer for the weakly anisotropic polycrystalline Tl0.5Pb0.5Sr2Ca2Cu3O9 (Tl-1223) and a highly anisotropic Tl2Ba2Ca2 Cu3O10 (Tl-2223) single crystal. From these data, the effective activation energy, U eff(j)=U l(j c /j)μ, is determined by the method of Maley. A comparison of the irreversibility data at 77 K for different high-temperature superconductors (HTSC) indicates that the irreversibility field is quickly decreasing with increasing distance between the superconducting CuO2-layers. In agreement with this tendency, U eff is higher for the one-intermediatelayer compound Tl-1223 than for the highly anisotropic two-intermediate-layer Tl-2223 compound. The exponent μ≡d log(U eff)/d log(j) saturates for Tl-1223 at a value of μ≈1.4 near j c and decreases with decreasing current down to 0.3. On the other hand μ increases for Tl-2223 with increasing current from 0.1 up to 2.5 and shows no tendency to saturate. A comparison with data for Y-123 and Bi-2212 taken from literature, indicates that the flux creep in Tl-1223 is 3-dimensional like in Y-123. Therefore it can be explained by the 3D collective creep model for not too small currents. For Tl-2223, 2-dimensional behaviour is observed.  相似文献

In order to demonstrate the existence of the vortex pancake in high temperature superconductor experimentally, a configuration in which the current and voltage electrodes lies separately on the top and bottom surface is used. The E-j relation obtained with this electrodes spatial configuration is different from the expected E-j behavior of the stiff vortex line model. Thus, the current results support the existence of the vortex pancake in high temperature superconductor.  相似文献

An inelastic neutron scattering study of overdoped Bi(2)Sr(2)CaCu(2)O(8+delta) ( T(c) = 83 K) has revealed a resonant spin excitation in the superconducting state. The mode energy is E(res) = 38.0 meV, significantly lower than in optimally doped Bi(2)Sr(2)CaCu(2)O(8+delta) ( T(c) = 91 K, E(res) = 42.4 meV). This observation, which indicates a constant ratio E(res)/k(B)T(c) approximately 5.4, helps resolve a long-standing controversy about the origin of the resonant spin excitation in high temperature superconductors.  相似文献

介绍了一种基于小型制冷机的高温超导转变温度测量装置,并且探究了在这套装置基础上进行实验所需要的测试条件。实验包括三项内容:(1)比较了电流换向法、三点Delta法以及偏置欧姆法三种消除热电势的方法,并最终决定采用适合本装置的电流换向法进行测量;(2)对通入样品的测试电流大小对测试的影响进行了研究,进而确定了进行高温超导材料转变温度测试时所通入电流的范围;(3)对钇系和铊系两种高温铜氧化物超导体进行反复测量,确定最大重复性误差小于0.4K。  相似文献

We calculate the Hall conductivity for a spin-triplet superconductor, using a generalized pairing symmetry dependent on an arbitrary phase phi. A promising candidate for such an order parameter is Sr2RuO4, whose superconducting order parameter symmetry is still subject to investigation. The value of this phase can be determined through Kerr rotation and dc Hall conductivity measurements. Our calculations impose significant constraints on phi.  相似文献

The temperature and size dependence of the transport critical current in Y-123 and Bi-2223 + Bi-2212 HTSC ceramic sample has been studied. We discovered two new classes of superconductors in the course of material exploration for electronic-active oxides. One is 12CaO · 7Al2O3 crystal in which electrons accomodate in the crystallographic sub-nanometer-sized cavities. This material exhibiting metal–superconductor transition at 0.2 K is the first electride superconductor. The other is iron oxypnicitides with a layered structure. This superconductor is rather different from high Tc cuprates in several respects. The high Tc is emerged by doping carriers to the metallic parent phases which undergo crystallographic transition (tetra to ortho) and Pauli para to antiferromagnetic transition at ~150 K. The Tc is robust to impurity doping to the Fe sites or is induced by partial substitution of the Fe2+ sites with Co2+ or Ni2+. This article gives a brief summary of these discoveries and recent advances.  相似文献

在2英寸MgO(001)单晶基片上,采用直流溅射法,通过基片高温退火,成功制备了性能优越的YBa2C3O7-δ(YBCO)双面超导薄膜,能够满足超导滤波器的设计要求。X射线衍射(XRD)分析表明经过退火的基片上生长的YBCO薄膜与基片有单一的外延取向关系;用原子力显微镜(AFM)和高能电子衍射(RHEED)分析高温退火对基片表面状况的改变。结果表明制备的YBCO薄膜具有很好的超导电性,薄膜临界电流密度Jc(77K,0T)≈2.5×106A/cm2,微波表面电阻Rs(10GHz,77K)≈0.16mΩ。  相似文献

基于特殊工况下移动式高温超导磁体(HTS)的设计要求,提出了三种带材的绕制方案。依据经济性和基本设计原则选择了混合磁体设计方案,并对磁体的线圈,绝缘和支撑进行了设计。利用有限元软件对磁体线圈进行了电磁学分析,并根据不同工况条件对磁体的结构进行了力学分析,分析结果表明设计结果符合设计要求,为高温超导磁体的制作和实验提供了可靠依据。  相似文献

根据交流约瑟夫森效应,研究了嵌入Fabry-Perot谐振腔里的约瑟夫森结阵列在微波辐照下的相位锁定问题。结阵列是由生长在双晶钇稳定氧化锆(YSZ)基片上的YB2Cu3O7(YBCO)超导薄膜光刻成微桥得到的。通过优化设计,在温度为79.2K辐照频率为77.465GHz的条件下,包含620个串联约瑟夫森双晶结的结阵列在外加微波辐照下实现了相位锁定,得到了陡峭的夏皮罗台阶。其第一级夏皮罗台阶的电压约为0.1V,台阶高度约为0.17mA。试验结果表明,这种结阵列结构在电压基准的应用上有极大的优势,而且这种准光学耦合方法在太赫兹信号发生和检测方面有很好的应用前景。  相似文献

高温超导体在交变的磁场作用下,由于磁通的运动引起能量损耗,损耗的能量一部分通过超导体表面传递到冷却剂中,另一部分将使得超导体的温度升高。文中用数值的方法研究了外加磁场速度在0.0005T/s—5T/s变化情况下超导体的温度变化;当外磁场的速度由小到大变化时,超导板的状态会发生从稳定→不稳定(磁通跳跃)→稳定的变化;慢变磁场作用下超导体的温度在接近冷却剂温度的温区作微幅的周期性变化,当外加磁场速度比较大时,超导体发生磁通跳跃,温度也呈跳跃性变化,进一步加大外磁场速度,磁通和温度呈准周期的振荡型变化,而且振荡幅值随外磁场速度的增加逐渐减小,最后振荡消失,超导体在更高的温区稳定运行,温度呈周期性变化。  相似文献
