In this paper, we study the generalized vector equilibrium problems in real Hausdorff topological vector space settings. The concepts of weak solutions and strong solutions are introduced. Several new results of existence for the weak solutions and strong solutions of generalized vector equilibrium problems are derived. In this paper, generalized vector equilibrium problems are studied and some existence theorems of solutions for these problems in the setting of topological vector spaces are proved. Vector logarithmic-potential equilibrium problems with the Angelesco interaction matrix are considered. Solutions to two-dimensional problems in the class of measures and in the class of charges are studied. It is proved that in the case of two arbitrary real intervals, a solution to the problem in the class of charges exists and is unique. The Cauchy transforms of the components of the equilibrium charge are algebraic functions whose degree can take values 2, 3, 4, and 6 depending on the arrangement of the intervals. A constructive method for finding the vector equilibrium charge in an explicit form is presented, which is based on the uniformization of an algebraic curve. An explicit form of the vector equilibrium measure is found under some constraints on the arrangement of the intervals. 相似文献

In this paper, under new assumptions, which do not contain any information about the solution set, the lower semicontinuity of solution mappings to a parametric generalized strong vector equilibrium problem are established by using a scalarization method. These results extend and generalize the corresponding ones in Gong and Yao (J Optim Theory Appl 138:197–205, 2008), Chen and Li (Pac J Optim 6:141–151, 2010) and Li et al. (2012, submitted). This paper deals with the stability for a parametric generalized strong vector equilibrium problem. Under new assumptions, which do not contain any information about the solution set and monotonicity, we establish the lower semicontinuity and upper semicontinuity of the solution set to a parametric generalized strong vector equilibrium problem by using a scalarization method and a density result. Error bounds (estimates for the distance to the solution set of a given problem) are key to analyzing convergence rates of computational methods for solving the problem in question, or sometimes even to justifying convergence itself. That said, for the generalized Nash equilibrium problems (GNEP), the theory of error bounds had not been developed in depth comparable to the fields of optimization and variational problems. In this paper, we provide a systematic approach which should be useful for verifying error bounds for both specific instances of GNEPs and for classes of GNEPs. These error bounds for GNEPs are based on more general results for constraints that involve complementarity relations and cover those (few) GNEP error bounds that existed previously, and go beyond. In addition, they readily imply a Lipschitzian stability result for solutions of GNEPs, a subject where again very little had been known. As a specific application of error bounds, we discuss Newtonian methods for solving GNEPs. While we do not propose any significantly new methods in this respect, some new insights into applicability to GNEPs of various approaches and into their convergence properties are presented. 相似文献

We introduce a generalized equilibrium problem (GEP) that allow us to develop a robust dual scheme for this problem, based on the theory of conjugate functions. We obtain a unified dual analysis for interesting problems. Indeed, the Lagrangian duality for convex optimization is a particular case of our dual problem. We establish necessary and sufficient optimality conditions for GEP that become a well-known theorem given by Mosco and the dual results obtained by Morgan and Romaniello, which extend those introduced by Auslender and Teboulle for a variational inequality problem. 相似文献

We study a finite-horizon nonstationary Markovian decision problem, that can be interpreted as generalized optimal stopping and whose solution via the usual dynamic programming is in most practical cases not feasible from a computational point of view. Under certain assumptions, most importantly stochastic monotonicity, upper and lower bounds are obtained for optimal values and decisions using a reduced dynamic programming. From this, a suboptimal policy is derived with an upper bound on its suboptimality. Computational aspects and a particular application from optimal exploratory oil drilling are discussed.

Zusammenfassung In der Arbeit wird ein nichtstationäres Markowsches Entscheidungsproblem mit endlichem Planungshorizont betrachtet, das als verallgemeinertes Stopp-Problem interpretiert werden kann. Die numerische Lösung des Problems mit Hilfe der üblichen Methode der dynamischen Optimierung ist in der Regel zu rechenaufwendig. Es wird deshalb eine Methode der approximativen Lösung des Problems (mit gewissen Einschränkungen) vorgeschlagen, und es werden obere und untere Schranken für den Optimalwert hergeleitet. Ferner wird eine suboptimale Politik mit einer oberen Schranke für die Suboptimalität angegeben. Abschließend wird ein praktisches Anwendungsbeispiel (optimale Versuchsbohrungen nach Öl) diskutiert, an dem auch rechentechnische Aspekte des entwickelten Lösungsverfahrens erläutert werden.

A “nonenergetic” formulation of the boundary value problems of statics of an elastic strip based on the principle of admissible displacements, is studied. The formulation makes possible, in particular, the study of problems concerning the strips of infinite energy, while retaining the external form of the “energetic” formulation /1–3/, and produces unique solvability of the problem under weaker restrictions imposed on the external loads. We deal with a generalization of the Stokes system. Instead of the Laplace operator, we consider a general elliptic operator and a pressure gradient with small perturbations. We investigate the existence and uniqueness of a solution as well its regularity properties. Two types of regularity are provided. Aside from the classical Hilbert regularity, we also prove the Hölder regularity for coefficients in VMO space. 相似文献
